The staff team reserves the right to amend and change the rules and warning system at any time. If and when they are modified, a mass-PM will be sent to inform the populace of changes.OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
BE POLITE. Treat others how you would want to be treated. Even if you are playing a psychopathic character, you are not that character. Please do not incite or continue any conflicts that you see, and please discuss all conflicts that arises with staff. DON'T KICK UP A FUSS. If you feel like you’d been treated unfairly, please take it to the staff. Refrain from airing your dissatisfaction publicly and throwing a temper tantrum when you can’t have your way. Talk to the staff and we'll try our best to help. Please don't drag other people into your drama. Let's try our best to minimize drama.
DON'T HARASS OTHERS. Harassment is commonly understood as behavior intended to disturb or upset, and it is characteristically repetitive. In the legal sense, it is intentional behavior which is found threatening or disturbing. We have a very low tolerance policy on this. If you are caught harassing anyone here, there will be hell to pay.
DON'T GOSSIP. This is pretty straightforward. Don't attempt to ruin anyone's reputation, don't spread misinformation about others.
DON'T STEAL. If you believe that someone copies/uses your character, writings, templates, etc. without consent, contact the staff immediately. Theft is not tolerated here, and if done, will result in the user receiving either a temporary ban or a permanent one.
LOOPHOLES. If you see a loophole in any of the rules, please inform us. Taking advantage of a loophole or an unwritten rule, especially trying to use that as an excuse to justify what you want to do (as the staff tells you otherwise) will result in a warning, or a temporary ban.
IN CHARACTER RULES
DON'T METAGAME. It’s when a character somehow obtained a piece of information that only the role-player knows, but the character doesn’t. If you can’t justify how your character got information, you aren’t allowed to use that information. DON'T GOD-MOD. God-modding is when you believe your characters to be invincible. Fast, strong, and impossible to defeat. (Hence the word “god” in the name) Your stats are there for a reason. Follow your stats accordingly when playing your character(s). [ stats info ]
DON'T PUPPETEER. Don’t control another person’s character. If they aren’t your character, do not control their movements, their thoughts, or…well, anything for that matter.
Example
Roleplayer A (who owns only character A) writes: Character A slapped character B. Character B didn’t dodge, and character B is then thrown by Character A off the building, and character B bounced on the grass and cried about his boo-boo.

DON'T GRIEF. If someone harasses your character for out of character reasons, go to the staff. It's alright if the characters are meant to hate each other.
MATURE CONTENT. We are PG13 here. Please don’t do overly violent acts, (ie. Ripping off someone’s internal organs and being graphic in your description.) Please do not do overly sexual acts either. Teasing/sexual jokes are allowed, and so are suggestions that you’d done so. Use 'fade to black' as an indication for sexual intercourse, and do a time-skip.
If you wish do it via roleplaying, take it to an outside instant messenger system, as long as both parties consent to it. Do not use the public forum boards. There are legal issues with that.
CHARACTER DEATH. While there might be feasible situations in which death might seem logical, don’t kill another character unless you have their consent.

We are all here to have fun! So let's have fun together, and be nice to one another, since it makes everyone happy. As usual, treat others how you want to be treated. If you get mistreated here, take a screenshot, send them to the staff, and we'll deal with it.
