PLOT Welcome to Private School #552! Otherwise known as PHS #552! Located in Sunny California, the newly minted school is a beacon of light for the world's troubled youth. As the premiere school for delinquents in the United States of America- and the world, PHS #552 is the perfect place to reform and become an active member of society!
At least, that's what the brochures would have you believe. Located on an island in San Francisco’s bay, the school is only accessible by monorail or ferry. While the school is actually very nice and modern, the students that live on the island are renown around the world for being the worst of the worst. The original PHS 552 in New York was torn down to the ground by their antics- making their reputation somewhat sour.
Almost all students at PHS #552 have some sort of criminal record. Whether it was violence, theft, being at the wrong place at the wrong time or something more unique, the students at this school partook in some form of illegal activity or were deeply effected by it.

PREVIOUSLY ON 552 In New York City, a school known as Public High School #552 existed with the single purpose of rehabilitating the problem children throughout the state. Though it was meant to inspire character growth, it instead incited what the populace soon began to refer to as "the worst cases of domestic terrorism in the history of the state." Gang violence was at an all-time high, and the civilian casualties were soaring. Things got so far the school itself was even the target of a bombing. In response to this, an enormous wall was erected to cordon off all of the violent gangs in the city within one single district, which later came to be known as District #552.
Within this district, not only were the gangs and former students of PHS #552 trapped, but so too were innocent civilians. Lives were being lost at a staggering rate, more often at the hands of a PMC put in charge of running the district (known as the Apostles) than by the so-called violent gangs themselves. Two former Pillars were counted among the lives lost: Zamora Zamorano - former 1st Pillar - and Austin Huntsman - former School Captain. When it became clear that the state of New York had essentially declared war on its own citizens, this finally caught the attention of the United Nations.
By the word of the UN, the walls of District #552 were torn down and the students were to be freed, as it was clear their rights were being violated by its mere existence. The state of New York, however, continued to insist they wanted nothing to do with children they continued to label as "terrorists," though the rest of the country did not share this opinion. The state of California, more specifically San Francisco, offered to take them in.
Just off the shoreline of San Francisco, a construction project went underway on an island to build a school capable of housing the students of PHS #552. It was said that even the kingpins among them, be it Macht Starke, Ira Defaire, or Leon Sudeki, would be incapable of bringing the house down... the preparations New York wasn't able to make, California already had set in place. So, as the walls fell, the students would be met with planes that would bring them to San Francisco, the city that would be their new home. It took a long time, but it seemed things were finally looking up for the students.
Or perhaps not.
