A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

The sound of metal slamming against metal could be heard as Valo slammed his kali sticks into a metal post repeatedly. Metal rods stuck out of it in every which direction, and the boy struck at them in various ways, hard and with utmost precision. He had been at this for more than an hour, not stopping to slow down despite the objections his body was giving him. One strike after the other, he would continue in this routine, his muscles screaming for him to stop.
"Adrian!"
Coming to a sudden halt, all the fatigue would enter his body, and Valo would feel his body grow heavy. He was shirtless, and his entire visible body was now glistening with sweat as he began to pant heavily, looking towards Sarah as she entered. "You need to stop pushing yourself so hard. You're going to break down and it's only going to hurt you rather than benefit you." And although every muscle in his body was aching, telling him to just get some rest, he shook his head. "No. In order to achieve what I want, in order to become the weapon I need to be, I need to keep going and push past my limits."
He walked over to a suspended bar in his lab, jumping up and gripping it tightly, starting to pull ups tiredly. He would only make it a few times up and down before the pain in his body took its toll, and he would drop to the floor in a heap. Groaning in pain and trying to catch his breath, he looked over at Sarah from the floor and said with a weak smile.
"...But maybe you're right."

Hours later, Sarah had gone to rest, and Valo was in his lab sitting by himself. He was sitting at a table, sharpening his arrows to make sure they wouldn't fail him later. She had made sure to give him a lecture on taking it easy, but for some reason, he just couldn't sit still. He was tired, aching, and fatigued, but his mind wouldn't stop running. He was doing everything he could to keep it occupied.
"A-argh..." His head started to ache uncontrollably, and he fell to the floor clutching it. It felt like something wanted to escape his brain, like something was clawing at him from inside, and it wouldn't stop. The pain escalated, and he started to scream as things began to flash through his mind. Needles, tubes, scalpels, and lots of white. It was all things he couldn't recall any memory of, and yet they seemed vaguely familiar. And suddenly, the pain all stopped.
Valo slowly stood to his feet, still clutching his aching head before he opened his eyes. What he saw shocked him. He was standing in a completely different space. Valo found himself in a public park, and the sun was setting. It looked an awful lot like Central Park, but something felt off about it too. It looked different, it looked surreal.
"And you'll always be there to protect me... right, Valo?"
He spun around when he heard a voice saying his name, looking in shock at what he had saw. There he was, walking down the sidewalk, giving a girl a piggyback ride. She had long blue hair, tied up in a ponytail, and she was smiling as she hugged him close.
"Of course. No matter what happens, I'll always coming running to save you. I promise." He heard himself say. The two of them walked right by him without even acknowledging him.
"Hey, wait!" He called out, but they didn't turn around. He decided to follow them, trying to figure out what was going on and who this girl was. Why was she with him? He had no memory of her or this moment in time, not with anybody.
It wasn't long before reality began to bend, and everything in front of him looked as if it were being sucked into nothingness. His head began to hurt like crazy again, and he groaned in pain as the world around him changed. After moments of excruciating pain, he opened his eyes and looked around. This time, he found himself in what looked like a small coffee shop. Looking over, he saw himself and the girl again, drinking slushies.
"So, Valo, is there anyone that you like?" The blue haired girl spoke, and Valo saw the other him almost choke on his slushy. "Ahem... uh, well. There is, actually." He stated, and the blue haired girl leaned closer, curious. "But I'm pretty sure she doesn't feel the same way about me." She scoffed at that, smiling at him. "You're such a great guy though. If she doesn't see that, she's stupid. Tell me, who is she?"
He began to shuffle nervously. "Well... she has the most beautiful blue hair, with matching eyes that I love to look into all the time... and she's sitting right here next to me." Real smooth, Valo thought of the other him with a shrug, especially as he saw the girl's uncomfortable reaction. "Do... do you really mean that?" She asked him, and he saw other him nod. "I do. I've loved you for a really long time..." He said, and after a moment, she leaned close to him and kissed him lovingly. People in the building began to cheer in joy and clapped for the new couple. Both Valos looked on embarrassingly.
"Huh. Seems like something out of a cruddy romance movie..." The real Valo remarked. His head began to ache again, and he shut his eyes and braced himself for the pain. As expected, the world around him once more warped into nothingness. A few moments later, the pain would fade away, and he'd open his eyes. He only saw the girl this time. She was chained up, beaten, and bruised. Outside, explosions and gunfire could be heard for a few moments before a sudden quiet filled the air. A minute passed before the door opened and light filled the room. It was night, and from the light that the moon brought in, Valo saw himself walk in. He was covered in blood, some of it his own as evident from the huge wound on his shoulder. He stumbled into the room, falling to his knees on the ground.
"V...Valo..." The girl spoke weakly, trying to reach for him. He was panting heavily, reaching for her hand too. "I'm... I'm here..." He spoke, delivering a swift blow to the chain that shattered it. Taking a deep breath and ignoring his wounds, he shifted her body so that he could carry her piggyback, and he stood up weakly, starting to walk out there. The real Valo followed quietly, and what he saw outside were at least a dozen unconscious men on the floor and the wreckage of a vehicle. A huge metal scrap of it was covered in what Valo assumed was his blood. They were in a junkyard.
"You...really came for me...like you promised..." She spoke quietly to him, laying her head on his shoulder. He continued to walk, leaving the junkyard and continuing to soldier on to the city. "I promised you... that I'd never let you get hurt... and I broke that... I'm so sorry..." He said through tears, and her hand reached up and touched his cheek. "You're here now... and that's all that matters..." He kept trying to hold the tears back, but Valo could see that he was in pain for letting this girl get hurt. "Let's get you home... I got to treat your wounds... and I'll make sure you're safe. Tonight, and forever. I won't let you get hurt again..."
The real Valo looked on as the two began to walk away, and the world began to swirl into a void again. The pain was there, but he was ignoring it due to how shocked he was by all of this. Moments later, he found himself standing back in his lab. Looking around, he saw the arrow he was sharpening earlier.
"What... what was all of that..."
They felt as though they were flashbacks of some distant memory, and yet... it was nothing that he remembered at all. He knew no girl like that, and he figured with memories that dear, he would never forget someone like her. He wasn't sure why, but an unbearable pain began to take a hold of him. He felt like something was torn from him, he felt like something was missing. There was a small part of his life that he couldn't remember at all, could it be that she was that part? Why would he forget her? Who was she? What was her name?
He fell back into his seat, feeling empty, and a tear would stream down his cheek. Why was he crying?
"Who... who are you...?"

A lone motorcycle drove down the road in the dead of night. Atop it was Valo, dressed in his brown leather jacket and shirt and jeans with a black motorcycle helmet on his head. There was strangely no one on the streets, but it made things easier for him.
His destination was the junkyard from his vision, and soon he would find himself pulling up in front of it. Parking his motorcycle out front, but out of sight behind a sign, he would leave his helmet on the bike. Walking up to the gate, he crouched down, and would leap the fence in one swift motion, landing on the other side as quietly as possible. Taking a look around to make sure the coast was clear, he would start to walk into the junkyard, keeping an eye on his surroundings. He was nervous, and the thought of something creepy jumping out at him was too real after his run-in with the creature that kidnapped him and Kenji previously.
A couple minutes would pass, and Valo would find himself in a clearing. Taking a look around, he would realize no one was here. It was the same clearing from his vision, though the wreckage was cleared up and the bodies were nowhere to be found. In front of him was the shack that he saw the other him enter to find the blue haired girl, and he took a deep breath before approaching it. He saw that it was locked with a padlock, with yellow caution tape plastered over the door. He was curious about its placement, but he wouldn't let it stop him now that he was this far. Taking a step back, he would send his right foot at the door, breaking the lock and slamming it in. A cloud of dust would burst forth and Valo covered his face from it as he entered.
Taking a moment for his eyes to adjust to the darkness with the help of the moonlight shining in, he would look around the shack. He approached the area where the blue haired girl was, crouching down to examine it. Pulling a small flashlight from his jacket, he clicked it on, his eyes widening at what he saw. It was the chains that the girl was in before, shattered in the same spot. It was considerably more rusted than it was before, it looked like a lot of time had passed since this place was last touched. Near the chain, it looked like there was dried blood, in the places where both he and the girl were.
He stood up, flashing his light around the room, trying to find other clues. He sighed as he could find nothing out of the ordinary though, growing discouraged.
"Who is she... this has to mean that she's real, right?"
He spoke to himself quietly, shutting his flashlight off and pocketing it as he walked back outside. The cool, fresh air was noticeable after being in the stuffy shack, and it helped clear his head a little. But still, there were many questions, even more now that he had been to this place. Not a single answer was there, and he was afraid he would never find any.
"Thank you, Valo... I'm so happy that you still love me."
His eyes opened wide, and he looked around. He was in a new place again, this time in what looked like an apartment. Outside through the window, he could see what looked like a city of rubble. Valo and the blue-haired girl were sitting on the couch together, and she had her head on his shoulder, their fingers were entwined.
"I'm never letting you go again."
He heard himself say as everything faded away, and he'd find himself back in the junkyard. He fell to his knees, wondering why he kept seeing these flashes, or why he didn't remember any of this.
"No... I need to see more... please..."
He begged, not even sure to whom. He looked around, hoping for another flash, another slip into this memory, but there was nothing. He couldn't even get a name out of all of this. Picking himself up, feeling defeated, he started to wander back to the entrance.
The voice and face of this girl continued to plague his mind, even as he traveled back home.
