It seemed he was still able to catch up to me and even tho he didn't got up high enough he was still able to hit the ball with his fingers. And the course of the ball would change making it possible to become a rebound and I would not wait and as soon as I hit the ground rushed towards the hoop and saw the ball bounce of the hoop for a rebound.

Not knowing if Steven had followed me, but I bet he did the same thing I did. I would jump up as high as I could. And my hand would grab the ball. Not knowing if he would also go for the ball. If not I would slam the ball in and land on my feet feeling the pressure on my knees get worse as I was overdoing it at this point full force full speed.
If he would grab the ball at the same time I would power struggle him, if I win depending on the hand he is using if its his left I would slam in the ball and land as normal. If he used his right I would be pushed back and fall down catching myself with my other hand.

Steven would land, and spin charging after the ball as Hiroshi did. This was pretty fun, Hiroshi had the skill, Steven had the speed. This would mean Steven would over take Hiroshi and leap after the ball. Steven wouldn't however go to slam the ball, or try and catch it straight out, but push it higher. So that Hiroshi own attempt to grab the ball would miss, and then as Steven would land, he would catch the ball as it came down.
Steven would leap up straight up once more. Trying a simple shot, aimed for the corner on the black box of the back board so that it would come down to go through the net.

As I tried to grab the ball, I felt it go even higher unable for me to grab it, my body would go down and I saw Steven go down right in front of me and it seems he used his reach better then I though. As I landed I felt the knees give in abit, but I saw him jump up again and I could not wait and give him away a point. So I jumped up as high and fast as I could pushing my knees beyond there limits making me go higher and probaly the same height as Steven.
" Not today! "
I would slam my right hand against the ball as he throws it smacking it away. As I land I would drop to my knee as it kinda gave up on me. My body was near its limit. I threw allot of power moves and speed into it beyond my handling.
" Damn it, why doesnt this body keep up! "

Steven would watch as Hiroshi came flying up and slamming the ball away in order to prevent the point going through. Before coming down to the ground and his knee. Landing Steven own legs would dislike the effort, but his legs where use to falling. Steven would ignore the ball, and head over to Hiroshi putting a hand out to aid him.
"Don't push yourself to the point you burn out. It makes training less effective in the long run if you don't rest as well."
Steven would reply to Hiroshi. Helping him to his feet.
"But damn you're good. So don't be mad."
Steven would encourage him.

As I heard his words I looked up, he may be right but I can't just give in.. I would accept his help to get me back on my feet and just cracked a smile at him thanking him. I would feel my knee abit and yeah it maybe was time to call it a day anyway.
" Thanks for the help, I noticed my speed needs to increase as you were able to get in front of me. "
I would High five him and walked towards the ball picking it back up. It was time to go hit the showers and take some rest after this fun but intense practice. I had really pushed the limits on myself.
" You should try and get back into it more, you really have something there. Lets have a match sometimes a one on one again. You can find me here anytime. "
I would make my way to the door and disapear from the scene.
