welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

She frowned as he returned to his feet. Hits directly to the chin were, actually, a great way to knock people out. Her problem was going for the underside of it rather than straight forward. Regardless, it did the necessary damage. Yet he was still trying to fight back. Though his technical skill lacked, he made up for it in sheer willpower, and that alone granted him respect.
His feint didn't seem to phase her- the reason for this being that her attacks and defense were based alot in Wing Chun- a fighting stype that focused on rapid, simultaneous attack and defense. Someone could throw a punch and stop an inch in front of her face, and she wouldn't budge because that was how she was in combat. She was direct. So she just stared at the feint, and would stick out a hand to palm the front of his shin as he kicked.
At the same time, she would throw a devastating haymaker....for his kneecap. She was intent to bust his leg out the underside of his knee. However, turning and punching at this angle presented her with a blind spot, so rather than wait for him to use it or retaliate, and assuming her attacks went through, she would bend her punching hand, jutting out her elbow and leap toward him, aiming to blast him in the sternum and send him flying like a rag doll back into one of the metal pillars that stood on the site.
((I wrote this....a little drunk. So sorry for spelling. Also, let me know if it doesn't make sense.))

Steven face dropped as she seemed to nonchalantly block the kick and strike back. Then was pain. Steven didn't even have time to notice the attack to the chest. As the blow to the knee was painful to point of focused distraction. Pain would blossom in his chest after sending flying followed by his back as he impacted into the column. Steven didn't even manage to remain standimg for a fraction of a second. Aliding down the wall behind him. His eyes clouded by tears from the pain. Which seemed to grow rather then diminish. Steven tried to fight to stay conscious. A dewp seated fear taken hols. Fear of being unconscious around someone so much stronger. However blackness joined the growing pain and sleep and nightmares were upon him. (Ooc: mean to say compared to the side of the jaw. Not paying attention to what I write. Should really reread. Also have a halfasleep post in return to a drunk one )

Saya watched him crumble. While she respected his will for a fight, he lacked in the departments necessary for him to get close to her. Still, he had some potential. She would walk forward and scoop up his body, throwing it over her shoulder and making the long trek toward the hospital.
Once there, she would get him setup in a bed, and would stay there, watching as they fixed up his body, not even budging when they changed him into the aprons. Oh, they tried to get her to leave but she wasn't budging, and after the first punch to the face they let her be.
And whenever he awoke, she would be there. Because thats what you did for someone you defeated.

Steven would eventually with a jerk of the body. Sitting in pain and trying to twust and check his back. Recollection had mixed with pain. Breathing a sigh of relief and pain Steven collasped back into the bed. It would be then eyes facing the ceiling, Steven would notice where he was.
Steven would at that point look around and notice Saya seemingly watching over him. He didn, t like hospitals. They had bad food, uncomfortable bed and stupid clothes.... Steven face away from Saya and blush unseen. Hoping that she hadn't been present when they changed him. He wanted to get to know her, but the idea of being revealed as such was uncomfortable.
Steven would force himself to lpok back at the pillar. "You didn't have to stay ya know? But thanks." Steven said through the pain he still felt.

Saya turned her eyes up from her book- yes, the very book he had given her- and stare at him as e jerked awake. Dog-earing the corner of the page she was reading, she closed the old book and stuck it in her pack, which was fetched from her house a few hours ago. He'd been out half the day, but she didn't mind. That was the duty of the victorious.
"When you defeat someone, you should always make sure they are safe before you leave them. That is the honor of the victorious."
She was reciting what was taught by her teachers, not just because it was part of her art at this point, but because she did believe it. Especially with people you cared about in any fashion. And though she didn't truly know if she cared about him in a positive or negative way, she recognized she cared. She would watch him for a few seconds.
"You are weak. The gap between you and me is broad. Your bones are brittle, and you are lacking in areas I deem important, physically."
She would stand.
"You have persistance and a will to fight. That will have to do for now. You are going to train with me every Sunday until you get strong enough to defend yourself in a way I deem adequate. Show up at 4 oclock at the school gym. Do not make me find you."
And she would move to walk out!

That was a honourable sentiment, one that if everyone did Steven felt like school would be a slightly better place. Though Steven had to admit there had been fights he had won, that he had left the losers on the ground where they lay. Mostly to avoid getting in trouble from being force to fight. However with what he planned down the line, it was something he would adopt. It would make him feel less like someone fighting because he wanted, and more because he had to.
While Steven didn't particularly like the belittling of his ability he knew that it was true. Saya had practically mopped the floor with him. Though the complement also seemed to go down in a way slightly other then intended. Persistence couldn't get him far, that much had been proven to him today. When she ordered that he was going to train with him, Steven blinked in surprise. It had been the same as when she said they would fight. Not a request.
Steven would smile briefly as she went to leave. Training with her would certainly be an experience. Probably a painful one, his injuries reminded him. "I'll be there, goodbye Saya." Steven would agree, even though it didn't sound like he had much choice now, and say his farewell.
