The name didn't ring a bell. Part of him contemplated the chance that whomever did this to her had been with the group he had just confronted not too long ago. But that was pure speculation which he wouldn't bother to ask about. It wasn't that he didn't care or wasn't curious. He just felt like he would be touching upon a rather uncomfortable subject.
If she chose to say more, he would listen. But he himself didn't like to talk about his issues. He could feel.she was much the same, in that respect. He would continue to keep his eyes upon her as Austin watched her reveal two nip bottles of vodka. That sneaky little devil. A smirk would slip onto his face, before he would speak.
"What are you tryin' to do to me?"
The hazel eyed teen would reach out, grasping the tiny bottle before twisting the cap off and putting it to his lips. He would lift his chin and pour it down the hatch with out much hesitation. Even though he had stayed to sober up, it seemed that would not be the goal now. He would close his eyes and shiver away the tingling feeling, tossing the bottle back behind him before he realized what he did. An 'Oops' face popped onto his face as he heard the little bottle shatter somewhere behind him.
"I.. uhh.. I feel like Saul is not going to be happy with us. This room is going to be a mess by the end of the night.."
Austin would rub at his temples briefly as he tried to keep his bearings. He would turn back away from Cereza, before leaning backwards to drop himself upon the bed. His head would fall between her knees as he stared up toward the ceiling. This night had certainly not been what he expected. He was drunk, but it seemed his energy was drain as well. Maybe it was just stress from that little group experience earlier. That mind of his would wander toward Cereza's scars again, and he would speak without thinking, tilting his head upward to stare awkwardly at them again.
"Why would Maverick do that?"

"Why do you hasten to remove anything which hurts your eye, while if something affects your soul you postpone the cure until next year? " --- Horace "Being a good hostess?"
--- She'd say with a small arch in her brow. If he didn't take it she would've taken them both gladly. Not like she should've, but again who was really gonna stop her at this point? In his acceptance she popped open her own drinking it in the same manner as him. If there was a camera recording they would look like they were mirroring each other, only difference is when she was done she didn't toss hers. Hearing the little bottle shatter she blinked and couldn't help to find herself at first trying to hold back the laugh almost like she choked for a moment before snickering at his expression. He was probably right about Saul being mad if she messed up the room. But what were they going to be doing to mess it up anyways? Weren't they just suppose to be cooling off? Huh who knows. The bottle dropped near her as she rubbed her eyes with her left, attempting to lean back on her right hand which immediately stung. Now she was feeling it a little.
"Ow. Leaning bad."
--- She shook her hand pouting, speaking a little childish about it. When he dropped back the bed bounced a little causing a small dizzy spell. The room spun briefly before she blinked it away and looked down to where he landed between her legs. Tilting her head to the right like a curious catch she seemed to just stare without a word. He seemed lost to his thoughts as she was. Both were equally tired in some form or another. She was certainly drained mentally. Almost becoming completely emotionally naked. How she kept somethings back was a miracle. Her eyes grew a little low as she shifted her gaze towards the blank TV screen again her body just going along without her. Her left hand somehow found it's way again towards his head, gently combing through his hair. No one would believe this without video proof.
"Dominance I guess."
--- She too spoke without thinking. It just blurted out in a soft tone a few seconds after he had asked her. If he touched them he'd realize they were a bit deep which meant of course they must've hurt like hell when it happened. But obviously to have such scars in such a precarious spot would mean Maverick had to be very close to her. Intimate at best. She remembered so clearly being unable to move as Maverick hovered over her with his knife. He smiled and teased running the knife over her form. Thinking he was going to do much worse. Her scream was muffled by the cloth around her mouth as he made his cuts. He made it personal that's what it was. It probably wasn't that hard to figure out.
"Cause he could. To remember. Cause he's a dick? I don't know."
--- Her wrapped right hand subconsciously crossed over her waist to touch a spot on her left. Just a little under her navel, practically her pelvic bone as if recalling something else. There was indeed another marking there that he etched. She really had no idea what she had been revealing and to be honest was it really fair she was the only one sharing? But yet she had no questions, or rather she couldn't think of any. It was too cloudy in her mind. Low grey hues looked back down to him.
"At least yours would've been quick."
--- Again just talking without thinking. No more drinking. Nope. But at least she marked out for him who Maverick was if he caught onto her last statement. Removing her hand from toying with his hair she rubbed her eyes once again she needed to move. She would attempt to swing her opposite leg over him if he allowed her to get up however again it wouldn't be hard to easily have her body stay. And Saul did say if she tried to leave stop her basically or something of that nature. So technically he didn't know where she would be attempting to go if she got up.

"Hey.. I guess everyone has scars. They just aren't always physical."
The final words Cereza spoke almost seemed like a hint. Maybe this Maverick was the one that tried to shank him earlier, maybe he wasn't. At the moment, he cared little about the group from before. Austin wasn't about to spend his whole night dwelling on it, even if he had come very close to crossing that line again.
"Even a bad ass street thug like me."
However his train of thought would halt as she made moves to get up. Reaching out, his hand would grasp at her leg mid swing, attempting to stop her.
"Where do you think you're going, Cereza?"
His grip would be firm, but he wasn't trying to hurt her. Saul had asked him a favor and Austin just felt like he should follow through with it. After all, he had been nice enough to lend them the room to cool down. Knuckles just didn't feel like giving her the chance to try and sneak off. She was clearly tanked. While he was too, he still felt like he had pretty good motor skills.

--- In truth she didn't want to dwell on them either. She hated dwelling on anything in general. It was such a headache. Such a hassle. It took her places she didn't even want to go. Places she rather keep buried away somewhere. Whether it was healthy or not was not concerning to her. She just rather not deal with it. Sure he was some little bad ass thug in his mind but there were always people worse. Hey Cereza held a high confidence about herself as well. Sometimes it was hard for her to back down as apparent as to why she was obviously wasted right about now. Some people learn the hard way and she was one of those select few. When she went to move her leg was caught in mid motion creating a slightly awkward positioning on her end. Her body shifted on her side with her leg hovering over his head but truly more over his shoulder. Curiously she looked at him.
--- Why was he questioning it? She was just merely getting up, probably to turn on the TV or use the bathroom something of that nature. Did he really have to grab her leg, keeping it suspended and ask? Rewinding when Saul dragged her in she recalled what he had said to Austin. Which also made her remember getting his name.
"Your joking right, Austin? You are not tying me down."
--- She said with a cute blinking expression at him before getting a little tired of her leg being suspended. His grip was firm but she was holding her own leg up really and she'd give weigh to let it fall on him. Her heel probably hitting his chest. Yeah through her liquored up mind she recalled his name too. At least they got that much.
"Don't think I'd let you without a fight."
--- She meant it too no matter if she actually started snickering a little randomly. She had a private thought running through her head. Alcohol would make you laugh at randomness wouldn't it. If her foot never landed on his chest she would try to twist to the opposite direction to get him off. If it had landed she'd sit herself up, scooting up the king size bed a little well trying to push him with her right foot off the bed. Sneaky little devil indeed. Would be nice if he loosened up and got rid of the jacket, hell the gun would be nice to put somewhere else. Now if she was able to attempt the push she would say this random line, otherwise it would not be said.
"Watch out for the hot lava!"

Austin would allow her to move, he wasn't about to force her to stay on the bed only. If she tried to leave though, that would be a different story. Instead she scooted up the bed and then used her foot to slid him off. Austin would land with a little 'Oomph'. For few moments he wouldn't move. His head was swimming. But eventually his hand would pop up over the edge, grasping at it to pull himself up. Those hazel hues peering over.
"I'm too hot for Lava, Ms. Nova.. And you. Are. Going. To. Regret. That.
His arm would snap out to grab at her ankle as he knelt at the foot of the bed. Austin was gonna have to teach her a lesson. And he had a cruel, sobering joke he wanted to play on her. If he got a hold of her ankle, he would try to pull her to the edge of the bed and slide his left arm under her lower back. He would then proceed to try and lift her up onto his shoulder, in a similar fashion that Saul had done.
"I hope you like cold showers, Cerezaa!"
So long as he had successfully picked her up, he was going to begin moving toward the bathroom. This would be funnY. At least to him. She might have a fit, but they could laugh about it later. Maybe. Maybe he would just be laughing. Still worth it.

--- When she did indeed manage to kick him off and he landed with a thud. Now she was the one with the childish 'oops' face blinking at the empty spot in which he once was. He had landed in the lava. He wasn't supposed to land in the lava so soon. Now he was de- oh wait apparently now he was a lava monster! Those hazel eyes looked like they held some determination and his words aided it. She was in trouble wasn't she? His hand shot out to grab her ankle and grab he did dragging her to the edge of the bed. She couldn't help but squeal yet laugh in protest but before she knew it she was over his shoulder just how Saul had her. She did managed to grab a pillow on her way off the bed. Weapon acquired!
"Eee..No so not happening. Austin!"
--- She was laughing through her words as she squirmed in his arms. She was comically hitting him in his backside with the pillow. Seemed more like a spanking than anything. She said she wouldn't go without a fight and she meant it. Taking a breath she pulled herself into a straightening position. Thank god for all the training and her flexibility. This gave her the opportunity to shove the pillow right in his face. Also if they were near the bathroom threshold at all she would put both her feet on either end and give a push to throw him back. If all had succeeded and they fell upon hitting the ground she would try to scurry away, hopefully getting to the other side of the bed by rolling over. Nimble thing.
"No! Bad Austin! Bad!"
--- She would point from her semi safety zone if all went well.

Austin had managed to lift her up and had been marching toward the bathroom as she was swinging her pillow at his backside. The hazel eyed male would give a chuckle as he ignored it. But when Cereza adjusted and put the pillow in his face, Austin was blind! He did not see her catch her feet on the threshold. Back and down he went, dropping like a sack of potatoes.
The thud would be followed by a groan. But he would not be bested so easily. As Cereza tried to retreat, Austin's hand would snap out as he grabbed at her ankle. He would roll onto his side and push himself up onto his feet. If he managed to grab her foot, she probably would have fell to the floor in response.
"The quicker you let it happen, the sooner it's done!"
If that was the case, Austin would begin to drag her along the floor and back toward the bathroom. He wasn't going to let that vice grip on her ankle go! If he managed to get into the bathroom, his free hand would reach into the shower and turn the water on, as cold as it would allow.

"Oooff."
--- Her retreat would be thwarted. Before she was able to scurry away Austin had indeed caught her ankle causing her to land on the floor with her own thud. She winced a little at her hands landing on the ground to catch herself, more so her right as the stinging pain from punching the mirror had kicked in again.
"This isn't a dictatorship!"
--- Being on her stomach wasn't necessarily a curse. Before he would really be able to start his pull she would quickly twist her body bringing up her free leg so in her torque the ankle and heel would catch his wrist to lock and keep going. It would probably had been advised he let go cause she was threatening the integrity of his arm by twisting it. If he did let go he surely should go stumbling. If all went well she would roll back the opposite way away from him and get back to her feet.
"This is what I get for being a good hostess? I swear if I go you go."
--- There was still no anger or malice in voice. But as it was seen she wasn't going without a struggling. Had she managed all the previous actions she'd stand there looking at him. Her hair a complete mess at this point. She would waited patiently, yet with a pinch of anxiousness, at this point.

Cereza would twist out of his grasp, his leg sliding across the ground to stop his body from falling. He would smirk at her, as she stood and faced him. The outlaw would casually begin to move toward her, his eyes dancing up and down her body again. He's bite his lip for a moment, before an all too familiar sound rang out.
"You're right.. Not yet anyways.."
It was Austin's cellphone to be exact. He would glance down toward his pocket, his right hand lifting to raise one finger in a 'one sec' kind of manner before his hand would dip down into his pocket. It seemed a somewhat annoyed look replaced the grin that had been there a moment before. He would answer it quickly.
"What the hell. It's late.. What's up? ...Really? How the fuck did that happen? What did I fucking tell you about playing cards with those clowns? You know.. I'm gonna beat you for this, Longway.."
He would snap the burner shut, holding the phone in his hands as he shook it briefly. He would shove it into his pockets with a growl and re-direct his attention toward Cereza. As much as his body was telling him to stay, he knew that one of his 'family members' needed him. He would swear under his breath again before speaking to Cereza once again.
"I.. Uhh, have to go.. Sorry. A friend in need."
With his words, he would move toward her once again. His left hand would lift and he would place it near her jawline, thumb resting on her cheek. Those hazel hues would stare toward the girl silently for a moment before he would speak again.
"Too bad.. I was kind of looking forward to crashing here tonight. I told you Christmas sucks.. Things never work out the way they should. It's been real, Cereza.. Your secret is safe with me."

--- Like a curious kitten her head tilted to the side at the sudden sound the entered the room. It had been so silent minus their bantering and actions that the noise grabbed her attention completely. Signaling her to hold on didn't really matter when Cereza had no intention of moving. No he was a tricky one and he had been trying to toss her into the shower which she so was not having. She rather take a shower on her own terms thank you very much. She only was partially listening to the conversation as her eyes finally had started to grow a little heavy, or maybe it was a case of the dizzy spells kicking in from that rolling on the floor she had just done. It really wasn't a smart idea unless you were sober enough and she wasn't. With the excitement dying down everything else was kicking in, her hand certain throb for sure.
--- Cereza had been gazing away a little before he addressed her again and brought her attention back to the land of the living. At first his words sounded muffled but they cleared quickly enough for her to understand he had something to take care of. Bummer. A person's gotta do what they gotta do right? At least she was safe from being dragged into a cold shower right? Downside is in her current state just maybe, maybe, she wouldn't have minded him staying a little longer. Don't expect her to admit it or even say it directly. To much to her surprise he was before her with a gentle hand on at her jaw and a thumb on her cheek. Truthfully she blinked and he was right there. Yeah she needed rest cause she blacked out for a few seconds there. With the hand on her cheek her head on its own seemed to lean into it just slightly her eyes lowering a little. She was sleepy for sure and the touch seemed like it aided in soothing her. He would clearly be able to tell what his touch had done. It might've been the most calm she had been all night. There was no tension. No anger. The storm had passed. His words snapped her back again but softly this time as she reopened her grey hues and looked up to Austin. She listened and responded in kind.
"It does, yet it doesn't have to if you believe in the Christmas miracle. Christmas isn't over yet so who knows. Things work out the way you want it if you rebel against the nature that's trying to oppress it..."
--- She shook her head lightly with a quick little chuckle. It really did sound like good advice though she didn't even know where it came from or even why. Was that like a twisted round about way or saying 'hey you should stay?'. Or like 'hey you could come back'. Or was it just some random but sound advice for the future?
"I have no idea what I'm talking about heh... yeah I guess it would've been nice."
--- It was still early in the night barely past 11. She wasn't going anywhere that was for sure. Anybody looking for her would find her right in that room till the morning. So if a miracle happened and he returned there she would be probably asleep. Now believe she would completely deny any of what was said if she remembered it at all. And she probably would but certainly wanting to forget that she let herself go this much. Her body moved again on it's own as she stepped into him and planted a kiss on his cheek though more so the corner of his lips. Maybe her aim was off and truly meant to kiss his lips. Maybe she was letting him take the reins on a kiss and she'd followed if he initiated it. When she did so her eyes widened for a second and he might've felt the little jolt in her body. It was like something had hit her.
"Mm. Wait a sec."
--- Moving away from him she did trip a little on nothing. Literally she tripped on air and looked back at the floor blinking like 'the hell did I trip on?' before glancing to him with a shrug then pointing to the area making a circular motion.
"Watch your step right there. Something just tried to kill me in that area."
--- She was a riot wasn't she? Cute even. Maybe this was truly her deep down or once upon a time. Things change a person and not always for the best. Her said her secret was safe with him. Sober Cereza would never believe such a statement and would almost certainly believe it would be used against her somewhere down the road. Yet what was done was done. You can't change the past. She got to the dresser and crouched opening the bottom draw removing the little bit of clothes she had in there and lifted the false bottom slightly. Not sure if he could see exactly or not. But she had some trinkets in there stashed away from a recent thieving. Finding what she was looking for she took it in her hand and got up with the help of the dresser cause yeah, she already tripped on air. She would walk back over and take his hand placing item within and closing it before letting his hand go. When he opened it he would see a gunmetal chain with a outlaw tribal tattoo pendant also made in gunmetal. Irony was funny.
"It's an outlaw tribal tattoo. Means "Push the limits"..I think it's a little fuzzy upstairs right now.... Soooooo Merry Christmas Austin?"
--- Yip she had given him a gift. Again when she really really sobered up she will possibly really deny it if he brought it up. Or say her mind was impaired so. But for right now she just did something nice for a complete stranger. She didn't have to but she did. She didn't pay for it but not like he knew that. Still it was the gesture that mattered right? So maybe Christmas wasn't all that bad right? Maybe she wasn't that bad after all? She stood before him with her grey's, a little tired but there was a smile. Hair still a little messy, a few strains in her face. Probably the softest she's ever given outside of her niece. This was a whole new side of Cereza and he was the only one to see this. But was it really new or heavily suppressed? Though it might be the only time cause she wasn't letting this out again. The fact that she did was already enough. No more heavy drinking... again. In truth just no more drinking.

Cereza kissed at his cheek, near the corner of his mouth and he just stared at her as she told him to hang on a second. She walked away, or tripped if you wanted say that, before getting up and moving to grab something. Knuckles couldn't help but laugh at her. But it would fade as she re-approached and placed something into his hand.
Those Hazel hues would stare down at the necklace she put in his hand. It was nice, he liked it. And when she told him what it meant, he liked it even more. It was very fitting of Austin, and what he wanted to accomplish at the school and more. A smile appeared on his face and he would dip his hand into his coat pocket and drop it inside a pocket.
"Uh.. T-Thanks."
But before his hand removed itself from inside, the sound of stitching tearing would be heard before he produced a patch. It was similar the other one patched on his vest, but looked vintage in comparison. He would extend it toward her, those hazel eyes meeting hers.
"Uh.. This isn't as fancy, but you can have it.. It's an old motorcycle patch.. From when my father first started up the MC. I've got others.. Its okay."
With a nod, he hoped she would take it. If she didn't he would simply turn and toss it on the bed before he made his way toward the door. His hands would lift to sweep his hair neatly down the back of his head before grabbing the handle. He would throw her once last glance before opening it and leaving. Passing by Saul, he would throw two fingers up in a salute before leaving the bar.
It had been an interesting night, that was for sure. However he still couldn't shake what he had almost done. Nor could he ignore the fact that she may very well have saved his life this night. With a sigh, he would make his way to meet Longway. Boy, was he going to get reamed for this.

--- Funny she wasn't so sure if he really really liked it or appreciated it, or had he just accepted it to not be rude. It wasn't until the sound of something tearing and his hand coming from his pocket with a vintage patch had her mind danced around the idea that maybe he was. After all he wouldn't give her something back if it wasn't out of appreciation right? Or maybe it was the feel of obligation? Why her mind swam around the ideas was unbeknownst to her. Though she knew the trinket she gave him at the same time it didn't fully click where it she had gotten it from. If she never saw him again with it on it might just click. That would be an interesting one. Was he nervous or something? He sounded a little nervous. Was this whole thing new to him? If so then she would be glad to have popped his cherry in this situation.
--- She took it in her hand as he explained. It was personal or at least she thought it was personal. He chalked it up to him having others but still. Drunken her had an urge to give it back but for more than one reason. Believe it or not she liked little things like that and was most certainly into vintage things. She seemed focused on the patch in her hand that she hadn't noticed when he walked away until he got to the door and she met his gaze once more. As he left and passed Saul, who was busy attending to some people, Saul nodded but wanted to say something so he would take to following but not before he noticed Cereza a little briskly walking out the room. At first Saul was about ready to scoop her up again but he noticed that she herself was tailing Austin. But why? Cereza hadn't even put on her jacket but at least threw on some sneakers. She wasn't running just walking quickly. Saul being curious silently followed watching her leave the bar. Once outside in the cold Cereza called to Austin who wouldn't be but a few steps ahead of her.
"Jesse!"
--- She would call him that purposely despite fully aware of his real name. That'd be a little smile on her face after calling him and if he turned around he would note she came out in her tank and shorts. With the liquor in her system she wasn't really feeling the biting cold air. Her walk would've slowed as she came to stand before him. Her grey eyes would met his hazel's with a softness again. There was a possibility that he would actually notice the slight hesitation in her. Even if he didn't know her before tonight he must've gotten the impression she wasn't one to hesitate but yet here she was. It wouldn't last too long before her body did the work and she would grant him a much proper kiss that seemed she had avoided doing herself twice. He stole one from her in the beginning and all she granted back was a kiss on the cheek or corner of the lips. Without interruption she'd kiss him gently on the lips a soft passion behind it, and however long it lasted was up to him. When they would pull apart she would softly say still a little close to his lips. Honestly she didn't know she could even give one in that nature anymore.
"Now we're even."
--- Though certainly it was more than that and Saul was at the threshold watching unseen picked up on it. He was actually utterly shocked. Of course he knew she was drunk but for as long as he knew her he could tell it was beyond that. If Austin allowed her to move back from her she would do so and turn with a glance over her shoulder and then heading back towards the door. Though she would pause and turn back to him.
"Austin?"
--- Her tone still soft.
"Maverick... He was the one that tried to kill you tonight.."
--- She took a moment to take a sharp exhale glancing away and returning her gaze to him. Those shorts still left her scars visible. A hand rubbed a spot on the front of her waist like recalling something that was there.
"Just watch the shadows a little more closer ok?... Bye Austin."
--- Was that a hint of concern? Seemed like it. He left a mark. An impression. Guess maybe she liked him. But that was never coming out of her lips. Tonight might've been the last time this side was shown. The last time for her to feel anything of this sort or at least allow herself this. Her goodbye almost sounded permanent like they weren't gonna see each other again and that maybe she was a little down about it. Maybe it was better he forgot about her anyways. After all she said she didn't matter. She didn't think she left an impression anyways. Wow that liquor really screwed her up. She wouldn't really give him the chance to say something to her as she went inside briskly. Saul would emerge and speak.
"Well Jesse I don't what happened or what you did but I've never seen that...she certainly likes you. Don't chalk it up as her just being drunk but don't be surprise at the difference you'll see if you guys meet again. Just a fair warning kid. Get home safe. I don't wanna hear about you on the news or something. You're welcome here any time. Maybe you should come and duke it out in the cages sometimes. Later kid."
--- And Saul would go inside leaving Austin to his devices and thoughts.

I'm fine in the fire, I feed on the friction. I'm right where I should be. Don't try and fix me..

Austin heard Cereza call him out by his nickname and turned to look at her. When she came in to kiss her, he didn't fight it. He had leaned into it, but only for a short moment before he pulled away. He didn't understand why he got a guilty feeling when it happened. Maybe because he did have feelings for Phoebe. But he wasn't with her, he felt like it shouldn't matter, but it did.
She turned back around and began to make her way back toward the room, his hazel hues just watching as she walked. But she'd throw his one last light, about Maverick. Austin would snort before calling back.
"Well, he missed the first time. He won't get a second."
As she went in, Saul came out. It seemed he too had words for him. Austin would shrug slightly, his hand dipping into the pocket of his jacket to grasp at the trinket she gave him. It was really one of the first gifts he had gotten in a long time, that had nothing to do with his normal life-style. Before he turned to continue on his way, he would speak back to Saul.
"I'll be fine, man. Don't worry about me.. Keep an eye on her.. She seemed pretty fragile to me. I'll catch you 'round, Mr. Bowie.
And with those final words and a nod, Austin would continue on his way. It was going to be a long, cold trek. But at least he would be sober by the time he reached Longway.
