A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

(OOC: Continued from the Life is a Riot speed event. Rounds are scheduled to move every 24 to 48 hours.)
Kaiser had gotten far enough away from the others by now that he could stop and make a call on his phone. He stood amongst the crowd, doing his best to blend in, but the blood on him caused many strange looks to head in his direction.
"It's Kaiser. The deed is done, he's dead. There was someone from the Mafia... no, but I do not think they will be a threat. Yes, sir. The first Pillar is en route... I will await your arrival. Just look for the fighting."
He pocketed his phone, walking quickly down the street and keeping an eye out for his pursuers. There were many innocents around, and he was sure Shugo wasn't the type to endanger them, but something felt different about him this time. Darker.
"How fun, Yuy... you always surprise me."
He continued to watch his surroundings, trying to get even more distance.
(OOC: Participants from the speed event have express permission to join, but they may only join this or the Mikey event. This thread is open to new participants as well. To sum up the last event, Riot made a public showing of those who cross them and it was on the news. Their leaders are now trying to retreat.)

((ooc: I sent a PM asking if I could join. Figured I'd just post real quick right now before heading off, tell me to delete this if it's a problem.))
Ruby was backing away from the crowd, still pretty confused on what was going on. It certainly seemed like the mafia gang or whatever they were were the villains, since they'd beaten that poor guy to death... but then, it seemed like her comrade Alex was trying to get on their good sides and become an ally, which certainly seemed odd to her too. She was curious if they were secretly good guys, or if Alex merely was a bad guy. She honestly didn't know right now, and how could she? She didn't know Riot, or any of what was going on, really... all she knew was that she'd seen the guy get murdered in front of everyone and that was... it was a horrible thing.
Her violet eye spotted Kaiser who was standing away from all of the chaos, and she frowned slightly. Was he scared and running away? Or maybe he was just sitting back and enjoying the show. She couldn't help but to glare at the thought, and though she wouldn't quite approach him... she was tempted to. Ruby figured he was very strong, so she knew it would be stupid of her to try attacking him, especially since she lacked a weapon... but still, she was pretty furious with this guy... still, curiosity tugged at her thoughts when she thought back to Alex. She really didn't want to think of him as a bad guy, but...
"Are you the leader of this mess?" Ruby couldn't help but to ask. She regretted it immediately afterward, feeling like he was probably going to engage in battle... which she wanted to avoid for now. She was a little ways away from him, so if he tried anything she'd at least have a head's up and a head's start to make a run for it.

I need duct tape for my mouth
I would try to go a bit faster to reach this guy. He seemed like he was going to get thrown in jail, just like Mikey for something he didn't do. Fights happened all the time, so a fight like this wouldn't really affect me. After he left, I would look around for clues....and found a trail of blood. A clue to his location.
Finally, I would be able to actually talk to him without intervention of a Yuy. I would hurry on his trail and try to get to his location. If I found him I would chat with him while he went on with his buisness.
"So whats your plan. Like you, I want to destroy the Yuys, and I'll help you if you want to achieve that."

"Did you get your fill of running?" As Kaiser came to a stop with his running, I would begin to approach him. I performed a few arm circles, and cracked my neck side to side. It was time for the blood bath to begin. I smirked at my enemy, my eyes still shone that hue of crimson as the Fallen Mark stayed bright red on the side of my neck. Dammit! What the hell!  When Zoe flipped on the television, she wasn't happy. When she saw Nero with Mikey, the girl could feel her heart beating so quickly that it nearly choked her thread. She was sitting in her dorm, watching the chaos on her laptop. Sighing in frustration, Zoe would stand and move to gather her things quickly. She'd pick up her violin case and get dressed before adjusting her glasses. Before heading out, the girl grabbed her laptop as well. Everything was shoved into one of her larger book bags. As she headed out the door, Zoe calculated in her head where Nero would end up considering his personality and the events she saw on television.
As she went through the crowd, Zoe would adjust her glasses, running an algorithm to find certain features in the crowd in front of her. Finally, she managed to find someone with Nero's features. She'd move to try and keep up with him through the crowded streets. If she managed to catch up to him, Zoe would try to walk aside him, leaning forward to look up towards him as she gulped. ”Hey, Nero... I saw the news report...” she spoke softly. Before she could finish much, the others showed up. She eyed each of them silently, studying them as they showed up.
The two that showed up at first didn't worry her, but Shugo... her did for sure. Something was off about him. Even when he had been pushed to his limits in a previous fight against Nero, he hadn't looked like that. Zoe glanced at Nero, nodding softly as she mumbled softly for him to hear- and only him. ”I trust you. You better be right.” She would look back towards Shugo, speaking firmly as she frowned in his direction. She'd let out a sigh and smile weakly, showing some concern
”You don't look too good Shugo. Maybe you should get out of here before you do something you regret.” |

"So your blood lust has no end to it, does it, Yuy?" Macht spoke angrily, stepping out from behind Kaiser and pointing his prosthetic arm at Shugo. His hand was balled into a fist, and the gears inside could be heard shifting loudly. Smoke escaped from his shoulder, and his eye narrowed. "My sister wasn't enough for you, huh?"
Yes, Kaiser was a criminal on the side of Riot, and once, Shugo and Macht stood against him together. However, Macht knew Mikey, and Kaiser by extension, and he knew they were doing what they were with reason. He didn't agree with it, no, but he agreed with the Yuys even less, and he wasn't about to let such key players in the current game to get taken out by idiots.

jacket would hear ping alerts on her phone as she was out and about. she would skim the over, before her eyes landing on a familiar blue-haired boy. could that really be him in the photos..?
....shugo..?
jacket would cross-reference different news articles, trying to get the most recent and up to date location. she would head over there as fast as she could, taking a taxi as far as she could go, then running the rest of the way. where was he? what trouble had he gotten himself into this time...
she migrated her way through the crowd, searching for a fluff of blue hair. when she would finally spot him she would pick up her speed to get to him sooner. out of the people in the immediate area she only knew alex and zoe. the former's presence worrying her. she arrived just as macht was making his threat, and she instantly wanted to get shugo out of the area. whatever was going on, there were way too many innocent people in the area. the situation was much more dangerous than she would have liked.
"shugo... you don't have to do this. let's just go.." she would say quietly, nervous around this many people. she would touch the edge of his shirt sleeve, hoping to get his attention.

After a long moment of decisions running through his head and a stream of texts that he and Soran had spewed out earlier, Ike decided to find Soran. It wasn't hard to find him, considering that he saw the group right when he entered the city. However, he knew the issue he was getting into was going to be dirty...
Ike would see familiar faces from 552. All of them looked hella scared or angry. The rest were just prettyich amused with what was going on. Some of them seemed angry at each other in fact. Was there something going on??
Ike would join the group and stay behind Soran, since he seemed to be more reliable to stick with for now...

"WHAAAAAT IS AAAALLLL THIS NOIIISEEE!"
The Hattori Yelled aloud as he continued to walk through a growing crowd of people. He stretched and yawned as he continued to follow the people slowly to where they was headed. He'd get bumped into a few times, but couldn't really feel the push because of how weak all of the civilians in. Musashi wondered if a murder had happened and that was the reason why everyone was acting all crazy and stuff. However, after walking by a nearby television shack he could see that there was something dealing with Riot on the news. "Wait a minute, Isn't that the group that everyone in the school was after while I was gone?" He questioned as his movement begin to quicken to the scene. He had a bad feeling about what was going on.
Once he arrived to the scene he saw a plethora of familiar faces. Including two of his very own gang members, and the number one Pillar of the school. "Man, if the hero himself Shugo is here then this shit must be serious." He'd mutter quietly to himself as he begin to wonder through the crowd as if he was an assassin from the video game 'Assassins Creeds'. He has spent ample amounts of time training in the art of stealth and entering so it wouldn't be an issue for him to go unnoticed in the crowd. Once he got close enough to the scene he would appear behind Ruby, lightly touching her on her lower back before whispering; "What the hell is going on here. And who is that guy that's bleeding all over an shit?" |

A sea of faces seemed to swarm the area before Kaiser could really gather himself. He was trying to catch his breath after the damage Shugo did to him, tearing off his wings like that... but no, he was in perfect condition to fight. There was a plan at stake, and falling here would jeopardize the entire thing.
He looked at Zoe, standing closer to her. He didn't want her to see him involved with Riot again. He didn't want to be a part of them again. After he met her, he wanted nothing more than a happy life. But guys like me don't get to have that kind of life... He thought, looking at her with the malice in his eyes completely gone, so much more different than when they had first met.
"Thank you for your trust... I'll explain everything soon. I promise that there's a good reason for this." He looked over at Shugo. "But right now, Zoe... I need you to keep a safe distance from him."
He stepped forward, keeping a comfortable distance from the others.
"Yuy... whatever happened to the hero I used to respect? Now you look like more of a monster than I ever was."
He stared Shugo in the eyes. He had no idea of the capabilities of these others, but Shugo had proved in their last scuffle that he had greatly improved. He'd have his hands full if he had the aid of all these other people too. But then...
A smile crept onto his face as Macht appeared, standing on Kaiser's side and opposing Shugo. The brother of his best friend, and the School Captain of 552 standing against one of his own Pillars. An interesting turn of fate, but as Kaiser heard Macht talk, his expression became serious. What did Shugo do to his sister? The thought of someone hurting Bianca or Zoe made him angry just thinking about it...
"A fallen hero, huh? Then what was the point of all of that talk? What was that you said... this cycle won't end with either of our deaths? But look around, Yuy, all you've seemed to accomplish was tarnishing the lives of those you claim to hold dear. Four months ago, you showed an integrity few possessed when you spared my life. But now, with a new threat on the horizon..." His eyes narrowed. "You don't seem any better than those damned snakes."
Kaiser looked around at the others who have gathered, deciding to answer Ruby's question at last. He stood safely between the others and Zoe to be safe, alongside Macht.
"I am Kaiser, the fourth of Riot's leaders. And we're taking our city back."

"I'll take that as a yes then."
I would approach the tiny group that surrounded Kaiser and then faced Shugo. I then looked aroundund and saw Ruby and Musashi. Maybe they can help us against Shugo and his strange power. I didn't want to yell out something at them, so I signaled Musashi to come towards me. If he did come, I would explain him the basics.
"Shugo has gone berserk, we are trying to stop him, but he seems to not change his act. We need your help if we are going to stop him before he hurts this guy."
I pointed at Kaiser. He needed help and I was going to help him. I wasn't going to let another person be falsely accused of a crime and thrown to jail. I'm helping your friend......Mikey.

Ruby gave a small jump from surprise when Musashi gently touched her lower back, coming from seemingly nowhere. She had mixed feelings about seeing him there, but decided it couldn't be helped. "O-oh, uh, I'm not really sure myself," she'd say to him quietly, blushing slightly. "The man that you saw was a victim of public display of abuse... it seems to be for rebellion... I-I thought that those guys were the bad guys or something, but I'm not really sure anymore..." She didn't want to fight, but if they were going to continue with horrible actions such as what they preformed earlier, she couldn't help but to think that she'd do whatever she could to stop them, even fighting.
However, she knew one thing for a fact... she didn't know the situation. It really seemed like Kaiser was the villain here, but he said there was a reason and she still had a feeling those reasons were for evil, but there was no way she'd be the ignorant fool that quickly takes sides without knowing which side to take. At least, she didn't hope to be that.
Macht was standing along Kaiser's side, against the blue-haired boys... as well as a blonde girl and Alex, who Ruby wasn't so sure of her feelings for just yet. She didn't know the blonde or the school captain very well, either, but she knew absolutely nothing about the blue-haired boys, and she knew that Macht wasn't a bad guy... at least, she was pretty sure he wasn't. There was no way that someone who was as brave and strong as he, risking his life so diligently to fight off that Ghoul back then could have been evil... right? At least, not completely... that, she was sure of.
Of course, she had a feeling that if she were to ask for explanation, they'd ignore her. She certainly wasn't that strong or important to the turn of events, and a neutral party like herself could easily waver either way. Still, he'd answered her question, so perhaps he'd give an explanation to her as well...? "I don't want to believe that you had good intentions when you beat that man practically to death," she spoke up, "but I don't want to rush in and take sides without knowing what's really going on. When you say that you're taking your city back... I don't know if you've been twisted or something, but that certainly doesn't sound good in any sort of way if you ask me. Still, you also make it sound like these gentlemen here are the corrupt ones, so... does anyone mind explaining?" Of course, she probably seemed like the ignorant child of the group, but she figured there'd be no other way to get things straight before doing something foolish like rushing into battle blindly. Besides, it certainly wasn't like she had a reputation to hold.
She was, after all, the girl who nearly jumped off a roof and tried attacking the Ghoul with a fire extinguisher. She certainly wasn't a famed fighter among these students at all. But, eh, one day, it could happen.

Sitting in the deli across the street, chowing down on a decent cheesesteak. Lexington pulled his phone out of his pocket, he used his pinky to navigate back and forth between new martial arts techniques and between funny videos on youtube. It wasn't until his phone started to go berserk with an alert that he was obligated to take notice. "Ouch someone died that sucks" He took the final bite of his cheesesteak and cleaned his hands off before finishing the rest of the alert. In the alert there was a photograph and it showed Shugo "Aww C'mon Shugo, what the heck bro" Lexington locked his phone before deciding to go check out what was happening. Lexington stood up and walked out of the building, the moment he looked up his eyes spotted the crowd, a lot of familiar faces were present.. Shugo, Soran, Jacket, Macht, Kaiser, Musashi and Zoe were all gathered. "Oh.. well that was easier than I expected"
Lexington walked over to the group and could easily hear Macht's arm running hot. "Got damn that arm is idling high" Lexington mumbled to himself. When he got to the two groups, Lexington trotted over to Macht and stood on Macht's right side, roughly three feet away or arms length. "Okay.. I can tell you're incredibly pissed and this situation obviously isn't good.. this obviously isn't going to get talked out either.. I can already tell we're just waiting for someone to throw the first punch, but do you want to fill me in real quick on whats going on? Kaiser's covered in blood, but hes also a part of the group you and I had a scuffle with.. so I'm a bit conflicted." Lexington put both hands on his head almost like he were stressed. "Macht as always I've got your back no problem, but these guys haven't done anything to me personally.. The furthest I'll go is knocking them out." Lexington said before he took off his T-shirt and stuffed it into his back pocket partially.

Oh god, Macht was here. Zoe glanced down, a visible cold sweat forming on her brow from anxiety. The last time she saw Macht he almost threw her down a couple of city blocks. As he spoke, Zoe narrowed her eyes. This was all... just stupid, but she kept quiet. Zoe didn't want to piss Macht off anymore than he already was. She'd glance back towards Shugo as Nero spoke. She'd speak to him in a hushed tone that only Nero, Macht and Lex would be able to hear.
”There's something beyond wrong with Shugo... he's glowing red,” she mumbled, frowning. What Zoe hadn't pieced together was that she was the only one who was seeing the ghastly glowing. The blond girl could feel the unease in the air as she glanced between everyone who was there. The way Shugo looked... It reminded her of the sentinel. Rapidly, she began to put two and two together. From what she had read about the fights during the black mist event and experienced herself- something similar was at work here. She doubted that was even Shugo that they were looking at. The ghastly red glow, the mark on his neck and the shining red eyes- it was a demon.
”I don't think we'll have much of a choice. I doubt we're even seeing the real Shugo,” she sighed softly, once again only loud enough for Nero, Macht and Lex to hear. ”We need to detain and contain Shugo or things are going to get real bad real quick.” Zoe would keep her voice down, not keen on letting the others aside from those near Kaiser hear her. ”I doubt his brother or Jacket will believe us- especially with the current circumstances, but they're in danger just standing next to him.” |

 "Jacket... Soran..." My eyes narrowed as the two of them spoke and approached. I gritted my teeth. My head turned towards Kaiser, Macht, and Zoe as they spoke. I had nothing against Macht and Zoe... and yet... yet every fiber of my being was telling me to gauge out Macht's other eye and replace it with his dismembered tongue. Every instinct in my body was telling me to fight. Fight. Fight. What... what the hell was wrong with me? Come on... YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SO HUNGRY FOR A FIGHT?! COME ON I SAID STOP!And then she did it... Jacket grabbed a hold of my sleeve ever so lightly. I looked down at it, as my eyes widened. Suddenly a blue mark would appear on my hand as it worked it's way up through my arm under my sleeve and then up my shoulder until it met the Fallen Mark on my neck. The Hero Mark would quickly overtake the red brand across my neck as my eyes shifted in hue from a piercing red to a calming sky blue. The energy worked it's way throughout my body as my hair began to seemingly glow with it appearing a glimmering azure color. I took a deep breath as everything reverted back to normal, both marks disappearing and my eyes and hair going back to normal. "Well... That was something I guess. I'm sorry about that." I looked over towards Jacket as I spoke. Looking around... things didn't seem to be in my favor. I wasn't just going to risk my friends in a needless fight... On the other hand... Kaiser did just help in killing a guy and well... What kind of person would I be if I just let that happen. "You should get out of here... I'm about to do something stupid again." I said to Jacket softly with a smile. I didn't want her getting caught up in this mess... It looked like it was going to be me and Soran against Kaiser, Macht, Alex, Lexington, and Zoe... I didn't know where anyone else stood in this fight. But damn... I was going to wake up sore in the morning. I took a few paces forwards looking over at Macht. "Macht. I didn't hurt your sister out of any malicious intent. She was out to kill people just like the guy we fought at school. She ripped her own eye out and I regret not being fast enough to stop her. For that, I am sorry. But Kaiser just aided in killing a guy. You know I can't just walk away from that. You're my School Captain and I'd rather not fight you. But I can't let this go. I can't walk away." I stopped halfway from where I was to between Macht and Kaiser. From there I shifted my gaze slightly over at Kaiser. "You're right. I was in pretty bad shape a second ago. But I'm all better now. I saved you cause I thought I saw something in you. But today, you had the opportunity to make the same choice I did. You took the low road Kaiser, and I'm not interested in searching for your redemption. I'm taking you to jail for your part in that murder. I don't care how scared you are of this bigger threat. We're 552. There's always a bigger threat, and we'll always handle it. And I'm willing to bet there are some people out there who would rather handle it the right way, instead of teaming up with a group of murderers, drug dealers, and human-traffickers." I smirked looking between Kaiser, Macht, Alex, Zoe, and Lexington. This battle was about to get started. "Besides, I'm not afraid of a few snakes." @ tag
