Kamile smiled. Seemed he did have at least some sense. She was glad to see he was at least making an effort not to work all the time.
"I do suppose you have me there. It does seem to me that I may have spoken too soon. My apologies." She would chuckle a bit. Charming company, huh? "Well then. WE might as well make the best of our companionship." She looked up as the crab and shrimp. "But for now, let us eat. This looks amazing!"

Steven would look down at his food and breath in through his nose deeply. The pleasant smells of the restaurant in general so much clearer, when the food was directly in front of you.
"Bon appetito."
Steven said, making sure to use the specific wording and pronunciation that fit the Sardinian. As he would start to eat. Using the opportunity that food was in order to think of something to say. Swallowing he washed down some shrimp with his drink.
"As good as you hoped?"
He asked her hoping himself that she was. It would be a sucky impression to take her somewhere that the food fell flat on expectations.

Kamile looked over her plate hungrily. Everything smelled and looked so good. She grabbed the crab cruncher and her crab fork and got to work trying to crack them open. Finally, the juicy tender meat slid out of the shell. She stuck it and dipped it in the butter. Mmmm Just like it looked, delicious. A few legs later, Steven asked her how it was. Talking around a mouth full of crab wasn't exactly polite. Kamile smiled and covered her mouth as she swallowed the crab.
"It is wonderful. I was worried for only a moment. Now i see i had nothing to fear. Does yours meet your expectations?" She would take a sip of her wine.

Steven would smile as Kamile made an effort to politely swallow and such before trying to reply. In a formal place like this anything other then such manners would have seriously rubbed him the wrong way. As such Steven would hold off eating to reply when she had spoken.
"Splendid as it is always. My fath... Steven would trail of in a slight hesitation at where the instinctive reply had taken his train of thought. "My father would kill me if he knew I took someone somewhere I knew couldn't serve good food consistently." he tried to finish with the delay only slight however his mind added to himself 'he kill you for not being the gent and paying for it all too'

Kamile laughed. "Well I suppose your father raised a real gentleman. I must say, its a huge relief to finally meet one here. Seems they are far and few between." She noticed the delay but decided not to ask about it. Might be a touchy subject. It was best that she not dampen the current mood. Hopefully he would feel the same. Clearing her throat, she would ask after pushing her empty plate away.
"So, do you have any other surprises in mind? Or will it just be the Dinner and bar tonight?"
Kamile hoped he would pickup on the suggested further dates.

Steven brain would be on fire with activity. The correct thing for him really to do at this point was to let the night end and leave it at that. She was a teacher and he a student and there was a possiblity she would get in trouble for spwnding time with a student. However her words basically were asking if this was it and he found himself not wanting it to be. She had class he couldn't deny but it was shocking how he seemed to keep becoming attracted to women with a fascination with knives. Maybe his own fear was a mirrior to something else.
"Well there is not much else at this sort of time, and an offer for tea and showing off my library seems like just an excuse to get you to come round."
He didn't mind the idea but it dod seem prehaps a little forward seeing they had just met. Then again he had been told to be more assertive in the past.
"If not there is always another day, if I have some means to call you?" Now he was asking for her number too, where ooh where was the shy Steven tonight.

It was so refreshing to see a man trying to be a gentleman but still let it be known that he was interested in her. Maybe he was a student. If he could keep it to himself, she didn't see the problem there. But if he didn't, well, maybe she could show a little of her darker side. That wouldn't hurt too much would it?
"I don't see the harm in looking at a library, but if you think it may be too late tonight, then perhaps we could make another date. Here is my number either way. I would really enjoy seeing more of you."
He could take that as he pleased, She had meant it in more than one way. She scribbled her cell phone number on a paper as well as her house phone. Just in case she wasn't next to her cell phone.

'Be assertive.' What he had been told crossed his mind once more. Man this was not how he had honestly expected the night to go when he came out earlier that evening. Steven would take her numbers and slide them into a pocket along with a simple completion of motion to pull his wallet out and raise a hand to catch a waiters eye. If she had been planning on dessert he could easily cover that at home.
"Can I have the bill please."
He asked the waiter intending to cut off Kamile's initial intention of paying unless she made it clear she would be offended if tried to insist. "It is late but too early for sleep just yet." He would say to her.
"I'd be glad to have you over, though Lisa might pounce you." Steven said, good thing he remembered the young fox. Otherwise if she was surprised by her that would suck. Steven would pay if unstopped and enjoy the last of there drinks together before intending to lead her for another cab trip of the night.

Kamile put her hand on his before he could pull out money or a card.
"I said I would pay for this. You can repay me. I am sure you can think of something."
She would smile as he began talking again. Upon hearing of a woman named Lisa, she was taken aback. A sister perhaps? Maybe he already had a woman? After all that she had said. Oh my. I must seem a fool to him.
"I believe I am confused. Is Lisa... Your woman? I don't want to impose." Her cheeks would flush a bright red. How would she get out of this now? Kamile would lift her glass and down the rest of the glass. Oh my...

When Kamile made it clear she still intenxded to pay Steven would put his wallet away. He as she said could find some way to pay her back. What exactly he didn't know but he would.
Her reaction to his following words though were a mix of success. He had to say making a women blush was always a pleasure to watch especially on someone attractove but the fact the blush was one of thinking she had being going after a taken man well that wasn't as good.
"No no no...nothing like that. Lisa is my pet fox, she might get excited at someone new thats all." Steven would explain a little rushed to put Kamile back at ease."Sorry I figured you would get it. It the russian for fox in english letters if that makes sense. My fox is I assume desended from an experiment out there."

Kamile stopped and starred at her glass. How silly she was.
"I apologize. I should have known that. I just assumed that by you being such a gentleman... Well, it made sense for you to be taken. All the good men are either gay or married. Or so the saying goes. A fox? How wonderful! They are such lovely creatures! Is she a Red Fox or a Fennec Fox? Perhaps an Arctic Fox? Forgive me, I just love animals."
Kamile smiled. She was glad he wasn't taken. It definitely put her at ease. She payed the waiter and poured herself another glass and offered Steven the same.

With Kamile put back at ease Steven would sigh glad and smile as she showed interest in lisa abd poured the both and new glass to drink. Steven would lift and cradle the glass in between his fingers, holding it below his chin and speaking as he fiddled with the base of the glass with his other hand. Slightly nervous in how he could have just messed things up by stupid assumptions.
"A silver fox, a rescue actaully I save her from a car at some injury to myself, do you know much about them?"
Steven would ask before he dove into a more indepth thing about then.

Kamile would lean forward, intrigued.
"Not as much as i'd like to. How long have you had her? How did you hurt yourself?"

To tell her more about the foxs or awnser the question first. The question were more direct so Steven started with those.
"I've had her a few months, she been hit by a car or something an I saw her in the road when another was coming. And well let just say cars hurt." He said hopefully making himself look both modest by not going into detail and selfless by the implied action of his rescue of the fox.
"Silver foxes are tecnically red foxs, but the melanistic kin. So they are like the opposite of being albino, there was a huge experiment on seletive breedinh and domsication in russia where they are most common years ago. So the ones kept as pet are sort of like a dog in some way, and still fox like in others."

Kamiles face brightened.
"She sounds lovely. I can't wait to met her."
She looked at her glass and the still 1/3 full bottle. Filling her glass again to get rid of the excess, she would offer Steven another glass to finish the bottle. Upon finishing the bottle, she would set it on the side of the table and take a sip of her glass.
"I hope you didn't get hurt too bad saving her. Seems it couldn't have been mortally wounding. You are still here."
