The rest of the school day would have passed by without incident. Currently She was waiting by the gate of school. Tapping her foot along to her music and looking forward to the free drink that would becoming. She was waiting for the guy, she had intimidated into coming with her to get her a drink earlier that day. Once he arrived, Gabriella would give a nod, and say "Come on."
With that she would lead the way, to a small bar near the school. There would be other student's around and the place gave a feel of a uncaring attitude to serving alcohol to those under age. A close, and perfect place for a quick drink after school. Gabriella would move through the crowd leading him, and take a seat in the far far corner of the bar.
"I think I'll stick to beer today." She would say to her company with implied meaning that he should get her one. The idea was that beer, was cheaper so in the long run she could get more drinks out of the guy.

A big heartfelt yawn echoed through the room as a certain tired student rubbed his eyes in daze as he woke up from a nap. He stared out the window then at the girls desk. Shouyo then quickly checked his watch and realized it was already past school hours and rose quickly. He whispered "sh*t" under his breathe, grabbed his bag and headed for the door. He was already debated to this girl now he was a bit late. As he met her at the school gates she merely ordered him to follow along, which he did with no arguments what so ever. His hair was a big mess as usual but the only thing he bothered to fix up was hie tie and shirt. Although his reflexes in battle were good, when he was just himself he had trouble keeping up. As the girl smoothly slipped across people through bar Shouyo bumped into many other patrons, following with "excuse me" or an "sorry." After he finally managed to keep up he took a long sigh and nodded.
"Alright."
Shouyo made his way to the bar counter and asked for a pitcher of beer. As the bartender poured the pitcher Shouyo had many thoughts. How long would this day last? Will the girl ask for anything more? And many other questions. He just assumed it'd be a long night and thought he should get a drink for himself as well. He did like beer but he should save the pitcher for the girl.
"Also a gin please, neat."
The bartender nodded polity and handed the pitcher and quickly fixed up the drink for Shouyo. He grabbed the gin, pitcher and empty cup and made his way over to the girl. Although when he first entered the bar he was quite clumsy, with the drinks in hand Shouyo was almost like a leaf in the wind. Moving smoothly with the crowd and before anything else happened he made his way back. Shouyo poured the girl a glass of beer from the pitcher and gave it to her.
"Here's your drink."

As Shouyo return, pitcher and glasses in hand. Gabs would raise a surprised eyebrow at him. Watching as he poured her a drink and handed it to him. It was a amusing and did this guy not drink the often. Gabriella would take the glass, have a gulp and place her glass down. Before reaching out and pulling the pitcher closer so she could top up as needed.
"Most people buy by the glass, not the pitcher. But I like it." Gabriella would sound honestly impressed by the fact he had bough so much in one go rather then buying by the glass which would mean repeated trips to the bar. She would top up the glass, and then with a finger scrap off most of the head of the beer that formed. The foam wasn't what she was after, after all.
Gabriella would take another gulp of her of her drink, before eyeing his, and then sniffing the air. The combined smells of alcohol of the bar were obvious, had they been somewhere else. She probably could have told what he had from the smell in the air. Like a smoker who could smell the slightest trait of smoke on the wind.
With that though, Gabriella would go to some effort to pull out a box of cigs, and a lighter, even more effort to open the box and pull one out and place it to her lips. Then light it. Smoking in deeply she put the lighter down, and slide both it and the box towards him. "Feel free, I'm not all bad after all." She would say with fake amused smile. She wasn't trying to be nice, more trying to learn about him. Every fact you had, was another hat you could exploit.

"If I buy it by the glass I would have to keep getting up right? That'd be annoying"
Shouyo took a light sip of his drink to see how it was. And to his surprise it was pretty good. Who's think a low end bar filled with underage kids would serve decent drinks? Or maybe it was because Shouyo really didn't have much expectations for such a bar that was crowded and reeked of pre teens. Shouyo tom a small glance at her drink and then stared back into the crowd. This girl could probably finish a couple pitchers and still would be able to function like a decent person.
"Smoking is pretty bad for your health though."
But who was he to say such a thing? Shouyo was already drinking underage and has smoked quite a lot. He gladly took the box and popped one I to his mouth. Lighting it with grace before handing it back to the girl. He took a long hit before blowing the smoke out. He observed the cigerrete a little. It was pretty smooth in a sense. Usually the kids at the school smoked nothing but cheap discounted cigs off the schools so called dealers.
"Thanks"

Question answered, he smoked, and more amusingly did so slightly hypocritically. Doing so after making note of the health implications that smoking entailed. As the box was passed back, she would hold her cig in her mouth, and put them away. Before exhaling a large breath of the smoke. In his direction, but not in his face like people did as insult. She was just to lazy to turn her head or blow out sideways.
Spending a moment pulling the cig out of her mouth and using the same hand to grab the beer. She got in the perfect position that allowed her to with the one hand either smoke or drink at her leisure. The only reason Gabs smoked better then many of the students around school was because, her vices. Her smoking, drinking, and drugs. Well they were a huge part of who she was. While it was to keep the pain a bay to start, she would no longer willing go without them. Pain or not.
"Live a little. We're not in school, no reason to sleep you life a way or hold back." Gabriella would say to his brief hesitation before having taken a smoke. Drinking from her glass at an rapid rate. Shouyo assumption that she could drink that room under the table. Well it was probably right. That's what being an drinker since a young age would do to you. "So what is you're name anyway?" She would ask, not to be friendly, but knowing the names of those you could control. Well pawns followed better if they thought you at least knew them a little.

Shouyo quickly took a few hits with the cigarette. In a leisurely rhythm. At one point he did make an "O" with a smoke just for fun and smiled ever so slightly in amusement as it faded away into the sweaty club atmosphere. He then grabbed his drink with the same hand took another small sip. He liked to take his time with a drink, to truly appreciate its taste. Unless it was beer, then he would just take in big gulps. Shouyo listened to her words while staring blankly into the teens. It was only after school, why are there so many students he wondered.
"I'm not holding back really. I just don't have the energy to keep up with this pace."
Unlike the previous times this time Shouyo just took a big gulp of his Gin, drinking it the rest of it in one big gulp. He glanced over at the girl after and then took a another hit of the cig. He pondered for a little on whether to tell the girl his name or not. It would only lead to trouble he figured in the long run. He didn't mind really but he felt the more he gave away the more this girl would use it against him. He would knows, considering Shouyo did spend a lot of time collecting info for his friend before he entered PHS.
"Isn't it customary to introduce yourself first before you ask for someone else's name?"
He wanted to know if she felt the same, would the girl give out her real name? I mean it's not like he really knew her name anyways. But he had a good idea of it. He did casually observe the students in his class just for kicks. He felt if he heard her say whatever her name was he could tell, by instinct? Who knows. He couldn't really tell for sure either.

Gabriella would smirk at his words, and even though he said he did say he couldn't keep up with the pace of this place. He nevertheless took a larger gulp of his drink. However it appeared that he wanted her to introduce herself first. She saw no reason not to.
"Call me Gabs."
She would say before draining most of her pint, and then smoking the cig down to a stub with a couple deep breaths. She would put it out into the table, before casually swiping it off the table and to the floor.
"Seems chivalry is dead as they say, forcing a girl to introduce herself first."
She didn't really care, she just wanted to take childish jabs at the guy. Grabbing the pitcher she would top up her glass once more, once again swiping away the form the built up. It was a waste, she could have waited for them to settle but it wasn't like it was her money buying them after all.
"Then again, most guys don't have to be forced into buying drink for a girl either, so who cares?"

"Shou."
A simple single syllable name escaped Shouyo's lips as he took his thumb and pointed at himself, soon after he took the cigarette for another hit before throwing it on the ground and stepping on it. He stared into the empty glass that stood before him and pondered on whether or not to go and get another. He actually enjoyed the drink for once and thought it would be a good thing to help him endure this mess of a situation. But he thought he would wait for the girl to request another before getting up and taking up the long journey back to the bar.
The girl's name was short, a nickname probably. So he just went along and did the same. Although for a spilt second he was almost ready to give out a fake name. But probably in the future if she did find out it was fake it would just be another troublesome day which is something he wanted to avoid no matter what. He scoffed at her words a little. It was funny a thing like chivalry. She was sarcastic probably, but the word still was a little funny.
"Things like chivalry don't exist in a world of criminals you know. In a place like this, I don't find it that odd having to buy a drink for a girl. Even if it's by force. But it wasn't really force either. It was more... like an exchange."

Gabs would laugh at Shou's words. Was a exchange under threat of violence an exchange or force. It could be seen as both, it seemed that he was leaning towards the exchange aspect of it rather then, then the fact it was an exchange of non-violence. Gabs would resist the urge to light up another cigarette so soon, as to make them last, and instead sip at her beer. Noticing that he didn't get another of his own when finishing his drink. He was mart enough to get her a pitcher but had still only gotten himself a glass. Not so smart in the end.
She would drain once more the rest of her glass. Before pouring more of the pitcher, and looking at him. "Well keep filling me up, and maybe our exchange will get better and better for you. This is a world of criminals after all, not gentlemen." Gabriella would say with a smirk over the top of her glass, and a wink. The hinting meaning of her words obvious, even if insincere. It would take someone a lot richer then some kid from school for that to be worth it.
At that point, she would pour the last of the pitcher into his glass. Drink hers down to having about the same amount as his glass and then look at him. "Now let see if you can keep up with me after all. 1..2..3." She would say, the challenge clear, and with the final number she would neck what was left in her glass. Wanting to see, if he didn't even try, did so but failed or did so and surprised her.

It was good to pace yourself with drinks. With beer it wasn't a big deal, but anything stronger then it could go down hill real quick. Shouyo slightly regretted not getting a bigger drink for himself but then again he was having gin, so it was a good thing. Take a break from his first. The girl mentioned the exchanged getting better but in reality Shouyo really didn't want the exchange to get any bigger. This was a fair deal, buy her a couple drinks in return he doesn't have to fight someone unnecessarily.
"You should fight like a criminal, make deals like a gentlemen.... or so I've heard."
Shouyo whispered something like a life motto out of the blue, but in reality it wasn't a very original quote. He just unconsciously repeated what his good friend said to him one day while they were hanging out in their base. It was way long before Shouyo entered PHS. The "good old times" one could call it. But he laughed it off as something stupid, once Shouyo got to PHS you gotta do everything like a criminal. Shouyo was a little confused as to why she was pouring beer into his cup and then soon realized why. Without a question he casually gulped down the small glass of beer in 3 leisurely gulps. He gently placed the glass down and wiped his mouth.
"I guess it's time for seconds? Beer again?"

Fight like a criminal and deal like a gentlemen. Nice line she might just steal that for herself. Oh she wouldn't mean it when she used it. But it was good nonetheless. She would smirk as she noticed that he downed his beer with speed as well. Not bad.
"Vodka and coke. Double large glass, and no ice."
She would list off the request for the drink, like it was practised. No more beer, it was time to see just how much money of Shou's she could get away using. Maybe she wouldn't hit him after, maybe she would keep to her side of the deal.
As she waited she would light up another cig, and look over the people of the bar, and sadly caught someone's eyes. As Shou came back, he would notice that another guy had come up to their table. Clearly trying to hit on Gab's, and her face showing complete and utter disinterest.

Round two, and this time a different drink. The girl was beginning to step up her game. Shouyo nodded and grabbed the empty glasses and pitcher and returned it to the bar. He asked for the girl's drink word for word. A voda and coke, double large glass, no ice. Simple popular drink among young teens. A vodka with a mix. As the bartender prepared the girl's vodka Shouyo stood around thinking about his next drink.
"I'll just take another gin, neat."
The bartender nodded gladly and in a matter of seconds handed Shouyo his drinks. Grabbing the two drinks neatly he made his way over to the table once more, being careful not the spill the drinks. Before he could reach the table however there was another person there. A friend perhaps? Or an enemy, as Gabs face showed a look of disinterest. Or maybe he was just one of those annoying friends people just knew. Nonetheless he sure looked like he wasn't welcome. Without a thought Shouyo came in-between them and placed the drinks on the table.
"Here you go. A vodka coke no ice. A friend?"
Shouyo asked as he would glanced to the side at the unidentified male standing about. He really couldn't care less whether or not he was a friend or if he wasn't. In reality Gabs could have probably taken him down in matter of seconds. But as of now he was already somewhat involved.

Gabriella would reach out and claim her drink, not even looking at the guy who had intruded when Shou had gone to the bar. However with the question Gabs felt like she had to answer. "In his dreams maybe." Gabriella would blatantly dismiss him. As if he wasn't even standing there. Her reason, was that this guy would hit on her all the time and never get the hint that she wasn't interested.
"You bitch." The guy snapped, and turned as if to storm away. Only to spin back round and take a swing at her. Gabriella pulled back as quick as she could. Glass and all, taking a gulp before moving forward once more and slamming the glass back down.
Realising he had missed, and jealousy of the fact that Shou appeared to be her friend. Which while not the case. The guy assumed. Making an ass out of himself and...no just himself. As on the back swing a fist would be aimed for Shou.
If Shou didn't dodge or do something to prevent the guy from hitting him. Gabs would. She didn't want the one buying her drinks to disappear on her because of some low class dimwit. She would stand in a rush, her hand leaving her glass and go to grab the guy's hair. Before pulling down hard and slamming his face into the edge of the table.
"Fight like a criminal right." She would say, if she stopped him rather then Shou reacting first.

The tone of Gabs voice obviously indicated that he was not only a total stranger but a complete trash bag of a human. Another young soul thinking he's the king, probably getting anything he wants with money. Shouyo disliked these types of people the most. Arrogant, cocky, and just plane rude. Shou took a sip of his Gin and backed away as the punch targeted Gabs. If it was any other girl he probably would have attempted to do something to stop the attack but he knew for a fact the girl could easily dodge this so called "punch". And just like he predicted she managed to do a graceful recovery. Without letting go of his glass Shouyo sarcastically clapped and whistled.
"Nice nice."
As he missed Shouyo noticed the anger in his face. His cheering for Gabs probably didn't help either, he knew he was next. The guy was obviously aiming for another round of a "punch". He noticed Gabs about to move, Shouyo was going to take him down first but already noticed Gabs moving. He would move to the side to dodge the punch, as Gabs grabbed his hair Shouyo quickly reacted to grab her drink as well and remove it from the table so it would not spill or break. '
"I think your taking my words too much to heart."

Gabriella would be impressed. Not by the fact he had dodged. The guy had been drinking and clumsy. Dodging was obviously not to hard. No she was impressed at his ability to read into the direction of events at high speed. To tell from the way she had grabbed his hair, what she was going to do. Not just notice either but react. React early enough and fast enough to grab her drink from the table once more.
Gabs would walk around the table. A foot treading into the guy on the floor instead of over him. She would reach out and take her drink back from his hand, unless for some reason he resisted, and the put her arm over his shoulder.
"Maybe. Funny though." She would say and laugh. It wasn't the first time she had hit the guy in response to being hit on, hopefully it would be the last. "Nice save." She said tipping the glass in her hand, making it obvious what she meant. "You're not too bad." This was high praise from her. "Almost makes me regret, pushing you into paying." Praise or not, regretting a free drink wasn't something would do.
She would remove arm from his shoulder, if he had let him put it there in the first place, and look at him and smirk. Sipping her drink. "I have to wonder though, what makes the sleeping man so spry?" She said with a wink, and there meeting of his disturbed nap, before returning to her seat.
