Disclaimer: The 'Devil' mentioned in the bio is actually an incredibly powerful Qi user, however both Sabrina and Isaac truly believe that this was the work of the Devil.Pre-note: This character is soul-bound with Isaac Blackburn. They share emotions and memories due to the consequences of dealing with the devil. To get a more accurate insight into Sabrina, I would strongly recommend taking a look at Isaac's profile (wip) afterwards too if you have the time!

Sabrina's eyes are not the only part of her that serve as a reversed mirror of her beloved. Where he is quiet and reserved, she is very forward and friendly in most endeavors. It seems to be very difficult to anger her unless Isaac is brought into the matter, and it's never taken her long to become attached to people. New friends seem to flow into Sabrina's life of their own accord, and she doesn't mind this one bit. One may even call her a bit overzealous in her pursuit of life's joys, and this may well be true. Sabrina has always been the sort of person to put herself last, even in place of a person she barely knows. She almost never fails to brighten the spirits of a room, possessing a certain undeniably happy glow.
On another note, even being such a cheerful and bubbly girl, there is still another part of her that is even more strongly representative of who she is at her core: Her love for Isaac. The affection she holds for him supersedes all other aspects of her life; the bond they share is truly remarkable in its strength. Flawed though he may be, she has always thought the world of him and that is not liable to ever change. Sabrina could never be closer to anyone if she wanted to, so it would not be wise to insult him if she's going to hear it.
All of this aside, the most striking aspect of her personality is the fact that it isn't entirely hers. Sharing a soul with someone tends to cause a few minor complications, and thus she and Isaac are waging a constant subconscious war of emotions. It's up in the air as to which of them are dominant at a given time, with it depending solely on who is more impassioned as to who will take control. Sabrina and Isaac both have to make a constant effort to restrain and balance each other because of this, and in truth she is usually the one to find it more difficult. This ephemeral symbiotic relationship is likely the hardest part of their soul link to deal with, and it can be intensely frustrating for her.
Fighting Style - Sabrina is vehemently opposed to fighting on principle, as most would probably expect from someone like her. Due in part to being rather sickly as a child, Sabrina is physically quite weak, instead relying on her natural wit to aid her in the heat of the moment.Just as with Isaac, blades set her very much on edge, and she avoids using them if at all possible. If she is somehow forced into a violent situation (more than likely in Isaac's defence) she relies on disabling joint and pressure point strikes learned at an early age by her father, a surgeon and pharmacist.
Strengths -
Ever the optimist in even the darkest of times, it's abundantly difficult to bring Sabrina down about most any situation, regardless of how bad things really are. She has always excelled equally in most every subject, staying steadily at the top of her class across most of her years. This is due mostly to her raw intelligence and desire to gain knowledge, but also in part because of the intellectual preening she received during her upbringing. Also, being the daughter of a pharmaceutical mogul, she has a fair knowledge of various herbs, chemicals, medicines, and their practical applications.
Weaknesses -
Sabrina is extremely sensitive about her appearance, with a particular sore spot being her eyes. She is deeply affected by people making fun of this odd trait, almost without fail having an emotional breakdown over the topic. This fragility extends to other areas as well, with Sabrina generally having her feelings very easily hurt. Despite being the social butterfly she is, Sabrina is also shockingly naive, often needing her partner's help to see through obvious ulterior motives. Considering Isaac once more, she is firmly protective of her lover without reservation, and is prone to shaky reactions if either he or his reputation are threatened.
History -
Sabrina Hale and Isaac Blackburn were both the children of prominent businessmen in London, both of them leaders in their field. With both of them having intensely busy and oft neglectful parents, the two of them saw each other quite often as children, eventually getting to the point where they would meet and play every day. As they grew older, their feelings of attachment grew to be more than it once had, and the two were convinced they were meant to be together. It seemed to be the perfect life to them, free of responsibility other than that which they owed each other.
However happy things had been up to this point, it seemed that fate was not on the young lovers' side. Sabrina's father, furious over research delays in association with Blackburn Technology, immediately severed all professional and personal ties between his company and that of Isaac's father. This quite obviously affected the young couple, and thereafter they were only able to see each other in secretive nighttime meetings in a graveyard located between their fathers' factories. It was quite difficult for them to arrange these getaways, and they were not able to come face to face nearly as often as they would have liked. Things most certainly could have been better, but things were assuredly going to get worse in the coming months...
Sabrina had been groomed all her life to be utilized as a tool for her father...a commodity to be married away and seal yet another lucrative deal for his company. The man in question, whom Sabrina had been set up to marry since childhood, was another wealthy CEO by the name of Charles McAllister. McAllister was true, reprehensible scum, money hungry and shamelessly perverted. Sabrina wanted nothing less than to be stuck with that bastard, but the situation seemed hopeless.
Sabrina was distraught beyond reasoning, frantic over the impending loss of her love. Her father had in truth been well aware of her secretive second life, and decided the best course was to confine her to her room until the date of the wedding. A week of this imprisonment passed, and Sabrina was beginning to break down...she simply couldn't go on without Isaac. As the date drew ever closer, all seemed lost...but it was not to be. A mere night before the supposed time of the wedding, McAllister was struck with a sudden, nocturnal heart attack. There had been no indication that something like this was a possibility for such a healthy man, and Sabrina's father was grudgingly forced to lift her house arrest until matters were sorted. Though Sabrina was deeply relieved by this, something strange about it still nagged at the back of her mind, as well as an overwhelming desire to be with her love once again...
It had been over a month since she had heard from him. A month of sitting in the dark and crying, wishing for nothing more than Isaac's gentle embrace to carry her away. Police had been conducting a large-scale search for any sign of the boy, but to no avail. Sabrina had all but given up, sure that something awful had happened. She decided to return to their graveyard once more, to share one final moment with him in her heart...and there she felt it. The moment she stepped foot under the willow where they once met, she could feel him there, calling out to her. She was happy, but something about it was wrong. Something about it felt evil...and evil it was.

And then, there he was once more...lying on the cold ground beneath their willow tree. Sabrina had done what she had to do to bring him back to her, and if it took putting her life on the line for the one she loved, then she was glad that she did. She couldn't stop the tears from flowing as she cried over his slowly stirring body, each crystalline droplet splashing down on his face. She could see her new eyes reflected in Isaac's and she found strange relief in this. The two were whole again...but at a steep price.
Being beaten at his game by Sabrina, Lucifer indeed fulfilled the terms of the bargain. Isaac was brought back into her life, but his soul had already been claimed by the monster. Instead, Isaac's life anchored itself to Sabrina, the two of them sharing a brand new soul split directly down the middle. Everything they felt, so did the other, and their memories were one and the same. It was a curse and a blessing, and their lives would never be the same after that.
When they first were bonded this way, it caused them extreme confusion, their combined emotions whirling around in a storm of sadness, love, joy, rage, and everything in between. One emotion held dominance over both of them, however, and the pair succumbed to their collective anger, the two of them breaking down and killing Sabrina's father as a result. Obviously needing to get away from this mess, the two fled to New York where they led their lives on the run, though they were quickly and easily pegged as having substantial mental instability, and rehabilitated for a year.
By now, the couple is fairly used to their ever shifting emotional state, and able to live a fairly normal life together. That in mind, neither of them ever finished their schooling, never even attending a public school. Though they're somewhat stable now, the pair decided that it was in their best interest to try something new to reform them a bit, and thus they begin their enrollment in PHS #552...

Appearance - At first glance, it's clear that Sabrina is a prime example of classical feminine beauty: Snowy pale skin, flowing silken hair, soft and gently defined facial features, and sparkling eyes that command the attention of the room. Most days she seems to be locked in a perpetual smile, only further accentuating her outgoing demeanor. Sabrina moves with the grace of a nymph straight out of myth, taking smooth, fluid steps no matter the situation. Even at an age at which most would have expected her to have filled out more, she's still quite petite, with only a very modest amount of curvature. On the (rather sensitive) subject of her eyes, they tend to give off a strange mixture of feeling, both unsettling and inviting all at once. The most logical guess as to the nature of her dual-hued irises would be that she is affected by heterochromia, though this is far from the grim truth. Like two mirrored oceans they greet the world...one of water, and one of blood. A healthy percentage of Sabrina's wardrobe is occupied by a wide array of (rather cute) summer dresses, and it's crystal clear that blue is her go to color. In late fall and winter, she will usually opt for something from a steadily growing collection of fuzzy coats, some of which are adorned with eared hoods and furry tails. She also appears to be quite fond of earrings and other jewelry, with the majority of the pieces she owns being silver. |
