feel the light shining in the dark of the night | With all these stress and problems starting to pile up from these apostles and the new wall being constructed, a time for fun and unwinding is a must. Entering the arcade he used to often come to, he was surprised with how different the place had looked. Seems like it, the apostles are too strict and serious on reforming them, much so that they even stationed people to guard the arcade outside, making the place a lot tamer than usual.
"Oh look, Dance dance revolution." He said cheerfully before looking down at his crutches. "Oh..." He sighed.

Amongst the oppressing silence Let's break the mold and howl ☼ ♦ And so the world had fallen into a despair. Despair was an enemy to the likes of the young Ecko but it was also an entity that lingered deep within her. She was normally so bubbly and full of life but lately a lot of things had transpired besides the obvious. These Apostles were oppressors nothing more, nothing less. There was no one that would ever make her see it otherwise. Yet despite that they weren't what had been lingering in her mind. There was much much more beyond that. The pigtailed girl wandered about the mall. The atmosphere was certainly off. It felt heavy and dull. The excitement had been drained from the people. These Apostles were starting to feel like vampires. She couldn't blame them but she had worked ever hard to keep her smile. To keep her joy. Her past was starting to dig it's way back into her present. Lingering memories were starting to drag her down but Blake, he wouldn't want that. He told her to never lose her smile but that was asking so much considering. For him however she always continued to push and always found herself zany as before.
♦ Today however it might as well had been grayed and raining outside with all the lifelessness within the large structure. Rain was always symbolic for such sorrow wasn't it? Yet amongst the chaos that was formulating there was the sun still shining down on them even though it wasn't easily felt with the oppressing weight of the shadows looming. Ginger steps carried her to the arcade where she assumed she'd find herself having a blast but it was much quieter than normal. Her hands were tossed in the air before finding a strong firm refuge against her hips.
"This.....this is getting ridiculous.... It's an arcade. A place of fun and competition. Ego's spit balling how badass they are at Street Fighter and whatnot... Why is it so damn quite in a damn arcade... I didn't come to the arcade for the silence of a library, I came to hear the loud and rowdy roar... What kind of Twilight Zone shit is this?!"
♦ She didn't care who heard her. Honestly it was hard not to considering the low volume of the place. Even DDR, her baby, was there catching cobwebs. Where was the loud music and heavy stomps from the overly experienced? No no no. This was a crime. Ecko marched her little button over stopping near the pale one with the crutches. She looked him up and down.
"You... Let's go DDR now.. We can't let these vampires prevail. Come we shall be the Lycan's howling to the moon!"
♦ Well there Ecko was. Good thing her crazy, nonsensical self was still in shape. She'd grab the stranger not caring for his crutches and lead him onto the platform.
"You take left and up. I get right and down... Let's....get.... dangerous."
♦ There was so much determination in that little form as she entered the necessary coins and shifted through the song choices. If he had a suggestion he was welcomed to speak up since at this point it was the only actual choice she was giving him so far.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Aldritch would simply let him be dragged, hopping with his good leg, the right one, as he dragged his crutches along. He'd grunt for each time he had accidentally stepped with his broken left leg and nearly fall down upon tripping on things. "Oh, it's dangerous alright. And I'm not talking about the apostles, I'm talking about my leg!" He exclaimed as he got dragged along. "I knew I should've stayed the week im the hospital for recovery" He thought to himself.
Upon reaching the dance machine, Aldritch simply stood there, leaning on his crutches as he watched the stranger pick a song. There wasn't really much of a suggestion in his head at the time, most probably because it was against his will to play. But nevertheless, he went along anyway. Before she had started the song, Aldritch would split his crutches, now having one at each hand and began to move towards the second player's side.
"No. I'll take you on. This is legit training right here."
He said, planning on playing the game with only his crutches. He'd then begin to balance on his crutches and lift his body up, just like balancing on bars
