welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

I turned away from the store and fully faced Kyou. Not be that man? How could I not be who I was raised to be? Sure it was polite but it was also all i knew. If I wasn't the man my parents wanted me to be, then who?
"I am sorry, Kyou. I can only be that man. All I know is that one man. Who else could I be? What else could I do? How else would I get the revenge for my parents' murder? If I don't stop him, if I don't take that revenge, what good am I? If I don't make him pay for what he has done, how will I ever be able to go back home?"
I wasn't completely sure that was what he was trying to say, but if I didn't say it now...

Kyou shrugged. "I'm simply implying that you don't have to be exactly like your parents raised you. I mean, there's nothing wrong with the way you're being right now--and stopping these criminals certainly needs to happen. But I'm just saying... if you--you--don't want to be like that, you don't really have to... I mean, your parents usually know what they're doing--so listening to them can be a good thing. But I'm just saying that you don't have to be a gentleman around me. I mean, I won't mind, you know?" He sighed. "Heh... I'm not actually sure what I'm getting at, here... never mind."

A gentle smile spread over my face. Kyou was right. I din't have to be exactly who I was trying to be. I could relax a bit. I could decide to do... be someone else. As he retreated from his statements, I placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you, Kyou. Really. I did need to hear that."
At that I looked up at the restaurant. Empty. Good. we could go in now. I turned and pulled my hand from Kyou's shoulder and gestured at the restaurant.
"Shall we then?"

Kyou nodded awkwardly. "Well, I'm glad it helped you..." he muttered awkwardly. He was pretty used to his ramblings and words being useless and having no effect on people. At the least, it was nice that he was--even if uncommonly--able to help someone... even if only a little. When Gerard suggested going in, Kyou nodded and said, "Alright," and then followed him inside the restaurant. He couldn't remember the last time he'd ever been to such a nice place, but he tried to hold up good posture and act... well... not like the little boy that he was.

The owner came out of the establishment and grinned widely. "What a pleasure it is having you here again, Marquis! May I get your usual prepared? I see you have a guest! Welcome, young ser! Would you care for a menu?"
"Anglais, Pierre. Mon ami ne parle pas ou lire le français."
"Oui oui, Monsieur! It shall be done at once!"I smiled at him and turned back to Kyou and gestured to the open room. "Is there anywhere you would like to sit? The entire restaurant is ours."

"Oh, no, I'm fine with sitting anywhere," Kyou said awkwardly with a small smile. Truthfully he would have even been fine with being treated like a normal guest rather than have the whole restaurant be cleared out. But then, considering the situation, it seemed fair enough. After all, Gerard had plenty of reason to want to be alone, especially considering the attempts of his life and all that, and that what they were likely going to end up discussing would end up being of at least some importance... That, and, well... Kyou was the paranoid type anyway. And thus, he didn't make any signs of discomfort and decided to continue his act as a polite guest. Since, well, he was a guest. It'd been such a long time since he'd been in such a nice restaurant, too...
