welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

WELCOME TO THE GOLDEN GATE CITY | 000 WORDS, FOR @tag, SHORT NOTE GOES HERE |
The scent of cheery blossoms greeted them as they stepped off. Laughter and sunlight were dancing about joyfully as people continued their rambunctious chatting after giving the students of PHS 552 curious looks. Stalls and and vendors lined the students'way to the school, selling food from prata, noodles to takoyaki. The closer they were to their pristine school, the stronger the fragrance of good food and blossoms. Students, regardless of age, were allowed to wander about with their belongings. Despite the warm smiles that greeted them, regulators were walking about with grim looks on their faces, searching each and every one of them for any possible conflicts that might occur. Regardless of their intimidating presence, they walk about, offering help to each and every student with their luggage, while handing out dormitory keys to students. The dormitories are separated into three buildings. There were two, looming silver buildings, one painted with fringes of soft blue, and the other, a soft green. The window panes were long and slim, tinted by one-way windows. The middle building was significantly shorter than the other two, and titled neatly on the black door of the middle building was "The Pillar Office" with golden, tasteful words. The words "Girls' Dormitory" were on the building with soft blue fringes, and the words "Boys' Dormitory" were carved on the building with green fringes. For now, as other students that already occupied Private High School 552 regarded some of the arriving students rather curiously. From timid females to jocular guys, nothing seemed to be amiss here. Today seemed like a good day to kick back and relax--assuming if one can take the copious amount of oil used to cook their food.+ 00. Everyone receives 1 exp for participating01. I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. Closing them again I brought up one of my hands and rubbed it over my eyes. We were here already? It felt like only a few minutes when it had actually been a few hours. The flight from New York to San Francisco went as smoothly as expected. As long as I had expected for it to be full of fear of waking to find the plane had crashed or we were all being gunned down. Needless to say, I didn't have a peaceful sleep. Several nightmares accompanied my sleep, but here we were on the ground. I looked up and saw Kazzie sitting there next to me. So apparently nothing was amiss, he didn't seem to be freaking out and had let me sleep, so I supposed It was alright.
I looked around the cabin to see other preparing to get off the plane as well. I sat up and smiled at Kazuya. We had made it. I stood up and grabbed my bag. Time to take my first few steps into a new life. A free life in this new-ish world with my boyfriend. A brand new start and a new school. A normal life and a normal relationship. Second chances were real weren't they? I felt a single tear slide down my cheek as I headed out the door of the plane into the blinding light of the new outside. No walls, no harsh orders, no one threatening to kill you. It was paradise after what we had just been through.
I made my way down the stairs and looked around there was some kind of... carnival or festival going on. How odd. Was it just the perfect day they decided to bring us or was this also planned? I doubted anyone would throw a party to welcome the delinquents here. Fat chance right? I made my way down the way and stopped in front of a vendor for sausage on a stick. I crammed my hand into my pocket and handed her the necessary money required to purchase the delicacy. I turned around in time to see a man come up to me with a large smile on his face. He welcomed me and handed me a key. It apparently went to my dorm room. He tried to take my bag, but I pulled it away.
"Sorry, but i'd like to keep this with me. I don't know what to make of this place yet."
He nodded and smiled again, telling me not to worry and to enjoy myself. I half nodded as I turned to scout the rest of the place. It smelled amazing and looked... Well, I didn't really know what to describe it as exactly. It was so much different than what I was used to back in New York. I continued to slowly move toward the school.

Unlike Melanie, for the majority of the flight, Kazuya had been awake, watching movies, though he had taken about an hour nap, having woken up with about 20 minutes left in the flight. Feeling Melanie stir in the seat beside him, her head resting on his shoulder, he would turn his head slightly to look over and down at her, his usual expression on his face. He had noticed her sleep had been restless, having felt her shift several times, not that he could blame her. From the moment they had taken off to reaching cruising altitude, there had always been the small chance that something could go wrong. His fears had abated the moment he woke up and saw they were 20 minutes away from San Francisco International Airport. Unbuckling his seat belt and rising up from his seat after the airplane had finished taxiing to the gate and the engine had shut off, he would smile slightly down at Melanie after she had sat up, before grabbing his own duffel bag from the overhead compartment.
Slinging it over his shoulder, he would let her go first, following behind after her, as he casually shoved his hands into his pockets and stepped out of the plane and into the light ahead. The scent of cherry blossoms greeting him immediately, it almost felt like home for a moment. The scene before him was a startling contrast to the dark, brutal life all of them had endured in the District and at the hands of the Apostles. Heading down the stairs and taking his first step onto San Francisco, everything was familiar to him, having transferred to a high school here, Public High School #42. It felt like he was greeting an old friend. Despite the looks the students who were already enrolled in Private High School #552 gave him, he would pay them no mind, and would separate from Melanie, taking the opportunity to wander about the school grounds and explore. Heading down a row of stalls, he definitely felt like he was home, as he would stop in front of a yakisoba stand, and pulling out his wallet, would pay for some.
Continuing down the row of stalls, he would be stopped by a Regulator, who appeared aloof, but not unfriendly, as he searched Kazuya, though it appeared to be a standard procedure, as the other students from the planes were searched as well, before handing a key to Kazuya, which was for his dormitory room, and offered to help Kazuya with his bag, which he would politely decline. Thankful he had given his katana over to Eun-Han for safe keeping, unlike him and Kazuma, the other three Symbols had already graduated from university, so they would be living in the city itself. His father having already dispatched men to New York City, to dismantle and bring back the materials and equipment in his house, dojo, and bar, he had sent Kazuya a message the moment they had landed, letting him know he would be sending men to San Francisco to re-build his bar the moment they had finished their work in New York City.
Glancing around the area, he felt like he was in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES, as the school greatly reminded him of Gekkoukan High, right down to the monorail leading to and from the island to the city. Things appearing to look up for all of them, Kazuya would relax, continue to explore the school at his leisure, while eating his yakisoba in the container in his hand with chopsticks.

Okay okay, he messed up. Lexington totally missed the flight coming to good ol' Cali, so he ended up having to catch a train the whole way over here, you would think something crazy happened along the way, but no. He pretty much ate a massive amount of food and passed out for much of the long ride cross-country. When they reached the station, Lexington simply hopped on a taxi, took in the city view on the way to his destination. High school, senior year all over again. The last school didn't do so well, at least he managed to make it to his senior year. All that's left is to graduate and maybe pick up a honey or two along the way.
So he hopped out of the taxi, shades on, running sneakers crisp and laced up, shorts tied, XXL white T-shirt that said "ANIMAL" across the front in red print. He turned to the cabby and tossed him three hundred dollar bills rolled together "Smell ya later" He plugged his nose with his two fingers and pretended he couldn't smell anything. Then he gave his attention back to the school, which would be his next hopeful kingdom. He stuck a hand out to the left, did a hop and proceeded to walk onto school campus. Lexington's eyes were darting left and right behind the shades. It was great, the weather was also prime for football, the women were sun-bathed. The days were long. Everything was going good for the Pillar, he gripped his knapsack with his two hands and fasten the string on it, the bag was beginning to sag. "I wonder where some of my usuals are.." Lexington was referring to the other students that were originally from New York and weren't those that were locals.
The standout male quickly looked around for a kiosk or something that had maps, he began to think he shouldn't grabbed a brochure at some point. After pulling a full 360 to find a map, he finally found a little stand with some students standing by. Lexington quickly trotted over and swiped a map, he pulled the tri-fold piece of paper and stretched it, unveiling the full map. He began walking in the direction of the male dormitories. Lexington had a plan for the first day, find his room, unload his luggage, establish old connections with some friends, find a gym and workout for a little bit, then off to the cafeteria. A wonderful plan indeed.

Making my way over the sidewalk leading to the billeting, I'd steal a few glances at the school and the surrounding area. I noticed the absence of Kazuya's presence immediately, but for some reason, I felt safe here. The wall was gone and had been replaced by a large moat, but we could easily escape this one. Deaths weren't an issue anymore. Life could be lived here. Freedom was to be had, memories begged to be made. I let out a sigh, giving all my fears, doubts, negative feelings and everything bad, the chance to escape.
Relieved of the negative part of my life, I breathed in a new lively breath. I knew that the dark part of my life had in no way left me, but this was the first step in getting back to the real me. Back to the way I was before the wall, before all this chaos destroyed everything, but also had brought me the man of my dreams. I smiled to myself as I stopped by a stuffed animal kiosk. Picking out the Samurai in a kimono with double swords Katanas and handing the man the allotted money, I grinned at the doll. He was my little Kazuya. I took my treasure with me and continued to walk toward the dorms in search of my room.

Continuing to explore the various stalls and vendors set up for the festival, petals of cherry blossoms raining down on them from above, showering the area in a sea of fragrant pink, as Kazuya began to gravitate towards the dormitories while eating yakisoba, his eyes would pass over a familiar looking male staring at the tri-fold map in his hands, as he would walk past him, only to halt in mid-step, back-pedal a couple steps, and stop, as he would glance over at him, before a slight smirk would form on his face. Heading over to Lexington, he was glad to see his fellow Pillar had made it to San Francisco safe and sound, as he would lightly tap Lex's arm with the back of his right hand, his chopsticks positioned away from the Second Pillar, his other hand still holding his yakisoba.
"About time you joined the party Lex, it just isn't same with you. Now that you're here, the real party can begin. Are you heading to the dormitory buildings too?"
It had definitely been a story of how all their lives had been turned upside down, but they had gotten through it. Though lives had been lost, a friend and great ally taken away from them most of all, this was a chance for all of them to have a fresh start, a new life, and new memories to create.

My eyes strayed back, hearing Kazuya speaking to someone. I stopped and slightly turned to see the man... What was his name... He was the one who had brought the hoards of angered teenagers to the fight when... Knuckles... Died. I looked back to the ground and half turned back. I wanted to leave but I also wanted to stay. I wanted to explore, but I also wanted to stay near Kazuya. Choices... Choices...
I turned back toward the dormitories and gazed at them for a moment before turning to look back at Kazuya and his friend. Was it even right for me to stay within the conversation when I did not know the man? I stayed put, indecisive as hell and kept looking longingly at Kazuya, but then turned and looked curiously at the dormitory. Damn. I couldn't decide.

It's strange to think that the outsiders outnumbered the locals. Was this how white people felt about Latinos?
Silliness aside, Kevin stood outside of the boys' dormitory building, having just deposited his bags in his room save for his backpack. A simple black single-zipper backpack was slung over his left shoulder. Stitched into the front was a patch representing the Brazilian flag, with the word "VAI" scribbled over it in permanent marker. Kevin strolled out onto the yard in a black v-neck tee, black joggers and a pair of high-top sneakers that were black with green trim. Hazel eyes scanned the area as he ran a hand through his hair to ensure a runaway strand of hair wouldn't fall into his view. He momentarily reflected on his current hairstyle, if one could call it that: a medium-short cut that was trimmed pretty close near his neck but kept a small bit of length up top and on the sides, enough to comb back to look presentable and not so unruly. Prior to this, he let his hair grow out past his shoulders...his mother asked him to cut it as part of cleaning up his act. Kevin missed having a mane, though at least he had some versatility with his hair now.
At this time, Kevin came down the way, taking in the scents on the air as he passed by a group of three chatting among each other. He took a moment to ponder the trio as he gave each of them the once-over, ending with the female of the group before quickly diverting his sight away from her. Were they from here or are they just a few of those transplants? The whole concept of what was happening around him was incredible---and a bit frightening, actually. Kevin was with the shit, he knew he could hold his own...and yet, the thought that there were people his age here who, just some months prior, were locked behind a wall and forced to fend for themselves against their own kind. He couldn't fathom. If any of the three had made any eye contact, he'd give a subtle upward nod in their direction, expressing a simple "Sup?" to them. Except for Melanie, who would have gotten a "Oh, w-w'sup..?" in a shakier, more hushed tone.

I looked back in time to see a man coming my way. He made eye contact and gave a long drawn out 'whuh-sup.' I smiled back at him, my orange eyes taking in the view. He was a tall boy, much taller than my self by almost a foot. He had a cut face, but my heart was already stolen by Kazuya. My smiling lips formed a standard greeting followed by a question:
"Hi. Are you from this school or #552?"
I turned my whole body to face him and smiled brightly, showing my teeth this time. I looked down at my long sleeve shirt and briefly thought I'd need a change. It wasn't so cold here. What was I wearing? A pair of Faded Glory Jeans and a tight fitting long sleeve light green shirt along with a pair of white sneakers. He was wearing quite a bit of black. Black v-neck, black tighter sweat pants, and black sneakers, but the sneakers had green trim. What was with this guy and black stuff?

Zoe had not had a fun trip. She had sat in the back of a plane quietly as reality came crashing down on her. Everything that had happened was now fresh and present in her mind. It had taken everything she had not to scream on the plane. So, when she finally got to the school, the girl wasn't in the mood for any festivities. She had to change- get out of the clothing he gave her. Zoe made a direct B line for the girl's dorm and vanished inside to find her assigned room.

Orion had missed the plane. Some really nice folks in suits had given him a ride though. It paid to be friendly to your higher authorities who are basically in charge of your life and whether or not you end up in the asylum/jail. Anyway, Orion had had a pleasant time discussing the current state of affairs with the go- nice men in black suits who had thoughtfully provided transportation to his new school. As a university student, Orion had decided to take his time exploring the halls of the university building rather than go straight to the dorms. Plus, the nice people had offered to put his stuff up in his dorm for him while he wandered around familiarizing himself with the place. Munching on some teriyaki chicken kebabs as he wandered, Orion took in his new place of higher education.
Not bad. Not bad at all.

Black is slimming. And it's badass. Plus, black on black is so easy to coordinate.
In all seriousness, when Melanie addressed him, it froze Kevin right in his tracks. Kevin just thought he'd give his greetings and be on his way. But noooooo, the pretty one out of all of them had to be cordial and make actual conversation. Damn her for that. Kevin stopped in the middle of his step, the young lady's voice sending a chill right up his spine. Oh dear. I actually gotta say somethin' now. With more care than necessary, Kevin put both feet on the ground and pivoted around to actually face the girl that addressed him.
"Uh, uhm..." An eloquent start to what would be an enriching conversation for the girl. Really, if there was ANY indication of the wealth of knowledge and insight that Kevin had, it was there. "Yeah, I-i go to 552, y-yeah." Kevin stood there for a moment before he processed all of the question, and he gave a look like he suddenly realized he left the stove on at home. "Aw, shit! Uhh...yeah, I go to, uhh...I go to this 552! N-n-not that 552...the one th-that, ummm...the one here. Yeah." And Kevin promptly shut his mouth, put his head down and prayed that God would come down and take away any chance of Kevin ever saying another word again.

Lexington used his left hand to stiffen the map, he failed the first two times as it flopped around in his left hand, but he finally managed on the third try to get the map to hold. He ran his right pointer finger up and down the map index trying to locate the dorms and then the cafeteria. In all honesty, Lexington wasn't trying to stay confined to dorms on campus. Being a national athlete and what not, he was trying to make it into the pros. He wanted to get the apartment that was by the beach and have everything be so convenient to end out his senior year, but the Steel giant knows that good things are never ever going to come easy. Anyways, back to the subject. Lexington tapped on the dormitory icon and then quickly located the cafeteria icon, they weren't far from each other on the map. "Huehuehuehue, I like this set up, sunny all the time, cafeteria close to the dorms. I think I'll like my first two quarters here." The male folded one third of the map, the third that he considered unimportant because it didn't relate to a place to sleep or eat. Typical.
Establish connections with old friends. Check. Next? Find his room!
Lexington's nose, which acted like a canine's in the presence of food, quickly singled out the sweet, flavorful scent of Yakisoba!! The athlete felt the touch of his ally and he turned to Kazuya's direction. "MA MAN KAZUYA!!" The pillar exclaimed as he rose his free right hand and gave Kazuya a pat on the left shoulder. "Glad, I ran into you man, I was just about to see if I could find you around campus!" Collapsing the tri-fold, Lexington had already committed the whole map to memory. Lastly, he addressed Kaz' question. "Yep, yep, that's next! I've gotta unload some of this luggage and check out my room, I've got the rest of my belongings being shipped by a postal service." Lexington slid the map into his pocket and then looked around. "Before we go, do you know any of these other people? Some of them I've seen before, but never got their names... While the others are fresh faces"

"OMG, THEY HAVE COCOA PUFFS HERE!"
Rochi loved the chocolate cereal. It was his coffee to wake him up every morning. The poor jester didn't have any Cocoa Puffs because Murai had to be rude and ate it all.
But after landing in San Fransisco and seeing all the stalls filled with food items, the jester went on crazy mode and started buying as much as he could. Eventually he found a stall that sold Cocoa Puffs and wasted all his money there. In the end, it looked like he bought a lifetime supply of the cereal.
Having the 19 boxes of cereal made Rochi go even more crazy with joy and he started skipping and singing another Frozen song, heading toward the dormitories to stash his treasure.
Due to the high amounts of crazy, he didn't watch where he was going and soon he crashed into someone eating Yakisoba. Rochi just watched as the love of his morning crashed into the floor, the Cocoa Puff boxes denting a bit.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
The purple haired boy tried his best to not go crazy on Kazuya.

"Glad to see you made it out of the District alive and well. Just wouldn't be the same without you around."
As a new guy joined their little group, Kazuya having noticed Melanie hovering nearby by this time, he would make eye contact with the guy and give him a small bow of his head in response to the subtle 'S'up' motion of his head he gave them, before turning his head back to Lexington, slightly smirking inwardly hearing the guy stutter away as Melanie struck up a conversation with him. Unlike most guys, Kazuya was not the type to get jealous when his girlfriend spoke to other guys, it honestly was not a big deal to him. He wasn't going to control who Melanie could and could not speak to, she had her own social life, just as he had his own.
"Same, I have to unpack my clothes and get my dorm room set up. Most of my belongings are back in Japan, so I'm pretty much set. It's hard to believe I'll be starting my first year as a university student. I know most of the faces around here, but I think most are students already enrolled in the school, or transferred here from a different school. That pretty red-head over there talking to the guy though is Melanie Rose, my girl-"
Before Kazuya could finish his sentence however, he would be cut off, not by someone crashing into him, as he barely even felt the collision, but by the scream that arose from behind him. His yakisoba still in his hand, Kazuya would turn around and stare at the jester-like boy, who was apparently lamenting the boxes of Cocoa Puffs that had fallen to the ground, one eyebrow raised. He looked familiar, though Kazuya couldn't remember where or why. He probably wasn't that important anyways, if Kazuya couldn't remember him. Turning back to Lexington, he'd give a casual shrug of his shoulders.
"Someone really loves Cocoa Puffs it seems. You want to head to the dormitories now, or hang out here a bit more before heading off after?"
