welcome
Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

I LOST MY FEAR OF FALLING
Vivi noticed his soft reply and wondered if she'd dredged up some particularly bad memories by mentioning the district. Then again, the district itself was a bad memory, wasn't it? She stepped back to give him room when he moved to use the fountains to wash off a bit. The district really had been a nightmare. During her time there, she legitimately wanted to die. She didn’t see a point in living a life confined inside the walls and watching people around her be murdered day after day. But things seemed to have been taking a turn for the better with the move to San Fransisco. Only time could tell if things would stay that way. “Glad you had some help,” she said, “I definitely never imagined things going as far as they did. But it all ended so suddenly… it’s kind of unsettling. I just hope we’re not in for something worse. Things are looking pretty good so far, though.” Vivi paused and shoved her hands in her pockets. Water dripped down from her hair onto the clothes and ground, and that coupled with the slight breeze was starting to get her kind of chilly. She looked down at her boots for a moment. “But I feel like I can’t trust it. It’s one of those things that seem way too good to be true. How do you feel about it?"( Xaier McCaine )

"Trust nothing, Question everything.. That is what my father use to tell me." Xaier would shift slightly on his feet, staring down toward the rippling water within the fountain. He could practically hear his dad speaking when he repeated those words. He would pat at his hair, before returning his attention toward Vivi again. "He was kind of paranoid and a little bit of a hard-ass because of the military."
Xaier shrugged slightly, his own body feeling the chill from the mild weather outside, continuing to address the girl's question. "My mother on the other hand, always gave me the whole 'Don't judge a book by it's cover.' Speech.. Honestly though, I'm not sure where I stand yet. I want to believe it's the truth as well.. But I suppose I won't figure that out until something happens."
Again he would shrug, before allowing himself to stetch out wide and the drop his skateboard to the ground, lifting a foot up to step on the tail end. "So until then, I plan on enjoying my life. I'd suggest you do the same and try not to worry so much about what the future has in store."

I LOST MY FEAR OF FALLING
Vivi wiped her hands on her pants and glanced up at the sky for a moment as she listened. Sounded like his parents had pretty conflicting views on life, that could make things pretty confusing for a child growing up. She herself never really had her parent's advice on matters of trust, but her cynical nature eventually rose on its own what with hardly being able to depend on anyone growing up in spite of constantly being around people. "Maybe it'd be good to find a happy medium between the two views. Stay vigilant but keep a positive outlook," she suggested, "But yeah, I think you're right. We'll just have to see what happens." He seemed to be preparing his skateboard, so Vivi figured he planned to take off soon. He made a comment about enjoying life and not worrying so much about the future, and she nodded slowly. Sucking up time worrying about the future was probably a pretty bad habit for a lot of people. "I'll keep that in mind, Xaier. Here's to hoping things'll stay good for a while, yeah?"( Xaier McCaine )

"Sometimes hope is all we've got, Vivi." Xaier would give a smile after he spoke. The District had been a difficult situation he had to deal with. He had been struggling with himself over the choices he had made. It had gotten him pretty low. But now things seemed to be brightening up and he too only hoped things would stay silent for a while. "Hey, you busy?"
An idea had struck him. Maybe it would have been weird to a native girl from this area, but Vivi had come from 552 herself. It was very likely that she might accept his offer. "I want to see your moves- Err, you know.. Spar with me." Xaier would settle his eyes upon hers for a moment, to ensure she knew he wasn't playing around. While he hoped for peace, he would continue to dedicate himself to becoming stronger, just in case of turmoil.
"You've got a mean cone-smash and all, but I want to see what you can really do." His smile turned into a smirk. If she accepted he had already predetermined the location. The gymnasium wasn't far from here at all. "What do you say, Vivi?"
