Brrrriiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnng
The blood curling sigh of noise breaking the empty morning sky, forsaking the peace and melodies of the morning hens who perched against Raphael's windowsill singing him lullabies and wishing that night melded into day. Everything so beautiful crushed in what may be an instant reminding him all too well that all good things came to an end if kept unchecked. The ringing still blaring off without concern, though the simple fixture of his palm outwards to press the button could just as easily silence it he'd opted for something much less practical. With a vigorous whooshing Raphael would find his head buried in a postured pillow seemingly muffling the noise for a time until it was replaced by an even more dreadful one.
"GET UP!"
Thump. The overwhelming pressure of a sack hitting his rear end, though the man had been through a great many fights in his days nothing quite compared to the sudden shock factor of a dreary morning's pillow attack. Stifling off his air even further hoping to fade into some sordid memory of the pleasant sleep before he found himself unable to hide much longer even still from a secondary strike.
"Alright I'm up Godda--" Thump.
A mouthful of feathers, yet even still a face full of the billowy mess covering his face. He didn't even see the attacker although the comfort of being at home put him at ease quickly rustling the pillow back down off his bed and back to where it rested the majority of the day. Scuffing his features up the boy remedied the encounter and postured himself to perform the zombified rustlings of an ordinary day trudging into place. All seemingly blurring into an instant.
Before long he was in the backseat of his car in front of an unfamiliar local. he knew the doors, the lawn, the kids at least the fact that they were there just the same as he for something significant but he didn't "know" this place. A grizzled humph left his breath before cracking the door of the stopped car and stepping outwards onto the lawn fixing his ruffled hair with a light touch.
"Have a great day at school sweetie!" His mother would say waving back in an embarrassing gesture through the back window. Of course drawing a number of hyenas' cackles as she sped off around the corner leaving Raph to deal with the aftermath of that little slip. He couldn't help though to crack a smile through his otherwise unphased demeanor and shake his head. "Thanks Ma." She'd done all she could to bring him up right, a real shame he'd ended up like this, drop out, violent kid stuck in a sham of a school. He'd done enough research on this place, hardly what you'd call a contingent of model behavior, it was more like a prison. Nothing he didn't deserve.
With a motion he'd pivot bringing his backpack on a sling over his shoulder, just the one strap though, two was lame everyone knew that. First days were always about first impressions, friends/foes it didn't matter so long as you made a name for yourself of better yet remained invisible. Was that the aim here? He hadn't quite planned it out that far, hoping against hope that he just wouldn't proceed to make a fool of himself.

BOW TO yo senpai @tagged Yeah it was a good day. Well, speaking in relative terms. She'd had days where she'd been smashed, slashed, suplexed, choked out, all that shiz. Today none of that was happening, so it was a good day.
She wasn't in the mood for punching stuff, so she settled for messing with people. After tripping a kid in one of the halls and causing a human domino affect, Vivi got her own stampede of angry testosterone driven losers chasing her! Not the original plan, but running was always fun, right?
She lost them eventually when she went outside, 'cause they were as slow as two hundred pound domestic cats, but as she was looking back to take note of this, she wasn't watching where she was going. Just as she turned to face forward again she rammed her head into some tall eye patch dude. Vivi's momentum would cause it to have quite a bit off force, so she stumbled back, rubbing her forehead.
"God freak'n dammit, just when I was feel'n good," she mumbled.
Vivi looked up at the boy. ...Everyone was freaking tall here. At least the guys were. It made Vivi feel like a shrimp, being about 5'1.
"You new?" she blurted out. It was hard not to ask, she'd never seen him before. "I'd usually say watch out for losers who'll pick on you to look tough, but you seem pretty intimidating as it is."
Unlike herself. When she first transferred she was the paragon of un-intimidating-ness. It was lame. NOTES I'm dumb so Imma use the very creative bumping into someone scenario~ uwu MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Innocently enough striding forward. This was a new day and a new life, that was the way Raphael was set to resign himself to. He could settle this life to one of being invisible if it kept him and his mother out of trouble a struggle no doubt but something he wouldn't have to bend over backwards to accomplish. But with Raph, he was never one for such luck.
*Thwack*
With the force of a thousand jack rabbits Raphael was lifted from his feet, normally the master of the guard and ready for things like this should he ever be placed in a fight, he was abnormally surprised when his body careened over backwards to the pavement. Ker-thunk. Rear end meeting pavement, his arms sprawled backwards catching his upward torso albeit a little bit throttled for a center Raphael made quick to ramble and fixate on his surroundings. As it were he'd been cleaved into by a girl easily just over a head shorter than him, probably more, had she not been in full sprint bolting that direction she may not have made full contact but based on the bruised chin and worse-off bruised ego she had.
"Ow Fuck man, what the...?" He'd paused long enough to stroke his chin and wince a little bit from the dull throbbing. Raphael managed to composed himself slowly once again being a man present on his nefarious surroundings feeling the bearing weight of heated hues batting down on him. If his encounter with his mother hadn't been embarrassing enough getting mowed down by this tiny girl certainly wasn't helping his 'new kid' resolve.
"You new?"
Eye's rattled forward slowly breaking his contact from those around him. To the untrained onlooker it may appear that he was still in a limited note of shock from the contact, but ultimately he was offering a glare back, getting a good look at his surroundings. All fours at the entryway to the school, surrounded on all sides by a wide breath of people nearly four feet away at least, fairly scattered all the same but growing weary of the waiting. "Yeah." Raphael managed to gruff out pushing himself upright, it'd seem like the moments ticked by incredibly long in increments however he'd lucked out recovering fairly quickly his left hand still grappling with his jaw before receding. It still hurt lick a B but he swallowed it resenting the measure of pride a bit all the same he couldn't look weak or he'd be prey for those he'd otherwise pose off against later on.
"I'd usually say watch out for losers who'll pick on you to look tough, but you seem pretty intimidating as it is."
Raphael managed to scoff a bit at that, the girl seeming rather bubbly at the start, unrattled by the bump of course she'd been the aggressor, all the same he'd wanted answers to why she'd brutally battered his fabled chin it was one of his better features. Was!
"Funny," Raphael said flexing a bit to readjust his ruffled flannel shirt, "You making it to be the first?" He'd say it with an edge of jesting sarcasm however he wasn't ever really all the good at making jokes, or friends for that matter. "I mean, you did kind of take me by surprise, looking to make a mark on the new kid?" Raphael made a slanted smirk revealing a portion of his smile however daring with the rest.

BOW TO yo senpai @tagged Vivi was small and rather un-intmidating at first glance, but her speed was only rivaled by Macht, and she was rather good with taking hits. However, she had a hard time getting used to this, so she was rather surprised when the boy went reeling backwards, and fell on his butt. That, and she felt kind of bad. If he was new, this was a terrible first impression.
He reached up and touched his chin, that must've been where her head slammed into him. Ouch... hopefully it wouldn't leave a mark. It probably would though.
At his words, Vivi blinked an arched an eye brow, taken off guard. It occurred to her that getting bull-dozed by a girl half his size would probably be embarrassing... dammit. This guy was probably pissed with her now. Though Vivi was fast, a weakness of hers was she wasn't too great at actually seeing where she was going. Thus, she bumped into things, or people, quite often.
"Hey now, let's not get butt-hurt," Vivi held a hand out to help him to his feet, assuming he was still on the ground, "It was a mistake on my part, sorry dude."
She offered a lop-sided smile off her own, and would cross her arms over her chest once she got to his feet.

"Hey now, let's not get butt-hurt," Raphael would have laughed it she'd assailed him from behind. Clever quip nonetheless he'd attempt composing himself rightly so. "It was a mistake on my part, sorry dude."
A casual smile met his bringing down the sudden urge to be brought into a fight. He may have been a maven for it, and very much so aching to take someone's head off but he wasn't above reason coming to the same conclusion that she had that they were just two bodies unfortunatley brought to collide very literally so. But damn was she fast, he hadn't even the chance to anticipate motion out of the way pretty impressive if he'd gotten the chance to throw a punch. Maybe next time.
"Vivi? Peculiar name." He'd mention turning his own hand upwards in a friendly gesture not taking note of her mostly defensive pattern, "I'm Raphael. Or Raph if its easier."
Hand extended he could hardly make any offensive motion, in fact his posture had just as easily reverted back to a neutral stance not expecting a whole lot of conflict to come. Though there was always the reason as to why she was running.
"Can I assume that you weren't aiming to run into my arms?" He'd jest back in return in an un-serious flirting remark.

BOW TO yo senpai @tagged "I-it's short for Vivian," she said quickly. Vivi mentally kicked herself for stammering, she'd thought that was behind her. 'Cause boy did she do it a lot when she transferred, but she got self-conscious when people commented on her name. In any case, she needed to keep her cool. Yeah dawg.
"Good to meet you, Raph."
The corner of her mouth turned up and she arched an eye brow at his comment. Normally people saying things like that made her uncomfortable, but she'd been making a conscious effort to be a little more spunky, and less easily flustered. Her cool must be kept.
"Hey, you never know," Vivi spread her hands and shrugged her shoulders, "In any case, sorry if I made you look bad, or something."
She was pretty convinced that if he thought she made him look bad, it was all in his head. Vivi didn't imagine many people had been watching, and she tended to plow into people almost on a regular basis. ...She needed to get her speed under control, if that wasn't already obvious.

"Make me look bad?" He made a boisterous, even facetious sort of laugh bringing up the corners of his cheeks to appear even more frightening in the right light despite the heartiness of his laughter. It was all a ploy of course, he did look bad being maimed quite easily on his first day on the front steps really how does one recover from that? Step one, laugh about it. Step two, recover. Step Three, Profit???
"Vivian, that makes a bit of sense."
Certainly feeling the fool and quickly recover from his laugh settling upright to a normal posture and kick the feeling of over laughing before prompting further inquiry. "What had you in such a rush anyhow?" She didn't seem as though she was out rightly the sort of person to go making enemies although he had to draw back to whence she gave him that very blunt advice on the notion.
"More importantly with speed like that I don't imagine you have much to run from." He'd chuckle to himself turning up those wide lips and acquiring a more confident posture flexing his right arm to bring up his backpack over his shoulder nonchalantly. He was working his magic albeit slowly, if he could find an ally in this school it'd be an ardent sword to work with. Even enemies had their uses here, Raphael knew his weaknesses at least in conventional terms if someone like her with that speed could offset a bit of his weakness he'd be in a solid place.[/font]

3a116f BOW TO yo senpai @tagged Seeing as Vivi wasn't sure of exactly how powerful of a fighter this guy was, she couldn't help but feel slightly intimidated by him, especially with that smile. There was also the fact he was at least a foot taller than her and was rather muscle-y.
She felt the sudden urge to take a step back, but that would make things too obvious. Vivi liked to make a point of never showing when she felt intimidated, scared, sad, whatever the hell she felt, and would always just mask it behind a bitch face or just being friendly.
"I had a group of students bum rush me," Vivi shrugged her shoulders and sucked her teeth, "Didn't feel like dealing with that shit, so I ran outside."
That was true, but the whole truth was it was definitely her fault they were chasing her, and she had wanted an excuse to dash around the campus. She always got a kick out of trolling people and then speeding off. 'Cause she was just that mature.
"I have quite a bit to run from, actually," Vivi scratched the back of her head and laughed sheepishly, "My speed just helps me get away pretty easy, I guess."
The way she spoke would probably make some assume all she could do was run and not fight. Though she didn't mean for it to sound this way, Vivi didn't have much of a problem with people thinking she was weak. If people underestimated her, they could probably get rekt.

A bunch of students bum rush her? That meant she'd inspired some reason for them to attack, probably some form of strength or weakness but based on the speed and how she'd sent him reeling he was opting for the former. Though speed never really insisted that there was strength as well, should could be the type that had a serious flight syndrome that was no good.
"So you're not the type to fight." Raphael stated very pointedly without directly looking at her, if anything it wasn't so much of a question but more of him speaking out loud. His posture hunched over to be down more to her level, stroking his chin with one hand and just above his eye patch with the other looking contemplative as she continued on before silently observing her.
The curves of his cheeks seemed to rise in a more excitable smile, borderline creepily happy. "You're saying you're untouchable!" With that his palm would come down atop her head quickly, although he was a fair bit slower than she if she'd moved he'd very easily find himself surprised and ultimately stoked about the whole scenario.
"Sorry." Raph would say with a bit of a chuckle rotating that hand on his chin to his back stretching it out and erecting his stature a bit more to resume his full height. "I was told this place was a cesspool of brawls, honestly a little underwhelmed, you see my plight." Another hearty roar nonchalantly tossing the short-lived aggression to the side.

3a116f BOW TO yo senpai @tagged "Assuming things now, are we?" Vivi raised her eye brows and sucked her teeth. Her face flushed a bit when he bent forward to be a little more at eye level with her.
In reality, Vivi got in fights on a daily basis. Though she'd been better about it lately, a few weeks ago she'd fight at the drop of a hat, and sometimes even drop the hat herself. In the long run, it had made her stronger, but also made her more insensitive to violence. Now her day almost felt incomplete if she didn't get into some kind of scuffle.
She wasn't going to straight up deny it and be like "Nah breh I fight all the time, I just like troll'n people and run'n," so for now, she'd let him think what he wanted.
"You're saying you're untouchable!"
Vivi made an unattractive 'The fuck, bro' face when he said this, and began to speak up, only to be cut short.
"I never said tha--"
She saw him move his hand to presumably swat her on the top of the head, and her hand instinctively shot up to grab his wrist. She was getting some bad vibes from this guy, but admittedly, their interaction so far had been fun. Raph seemed like an interesting guy for the most part, but she had a feeling she'd given a terrible first impression.
Vivi gave him a pointed look, still holding tightly to his wrist, but eventually let go, and folded her arms across her chest.
"That's a pretty accurate description, actually," she shrugged her shoulders, "It almost never happens that a day passes by where you don't see someone get the shit beaten out of'em, getting beaten up yourself, or are the one doing the beating. That's just how this school is."
It occurred to her that maybe, juuust maybe, by acting 'underwhelmed' as it were, perhaps he was trying to get her to try and attack him? Vivi usually only did so if she had a good excuse, and at the moment she had none. She could always invite him to spar though, that was an idea. The only thing was, while she was strong, when she fought tall people she could only really effectively hit their abdomen.

Ooouch..
His wrist grappled with instantly somewhat catching him off guard. Raph had anticipated her to be quick of motion indeed and now coming to realize she was quick to react. All the same he hadn't necessarily struck out with nearly too much force more like a taunting pat of the head something an older brother may perform on a younger sibling albeit halted by her defense. He'd make a stupid grin on his face a bit overly cheerful like a kid caught in the act of doing something bad, his cheeks rosing up a tinge before returning to normal his features settling in sheepishly.
A though rolled around that stubborn head of his plotting up all sorts of little ideas that struck his fancy. Placating to them the most evident of which was that he wanted to really test that speed, he didn't have too much all his own by most accords but he wasn't intimidated by an utmost daunting threat. If anything he was truly curious to put his mettle to the test, to be both student and teacher in a bout.
"Apologies in advance," Raphael started bringing his left hand under hist chest to cross it while his right rested at the elbow propped up to cradle his chin and stroke it thoughtfully. "But I'd like to see that honestly? Is that brash of me to ask?"
He'd chuckle loudly to himself, cheeks turned upwards somewhat blind to the concerns of politeness at the matter as his blood ran hot excited to see what kids these days were capable of.

BOW TO yo senpai @tagged The small girl paused, processing his words. She blinked and looked up at him, arching and eye brows.
"See that? To see how brutal this place is, all you've gotta do is take a walk," she chuckled, "Or are you asking me to deck you?"
The last bit was partially teasing, but she really was beginning to wonder if this guy was trying to test her. Perhaps he was curious, due to the fact that someone of her size and gender was able to bull doze a larger man such as himself without much a reaction? It had been an accident, but what the hey...
"Come with me," she said. If he didn't follow, she'd simply grab his wrist and drag him along.
Vivi led Raph to the courtyard, but stood by the door so as stay out of the heat of things. It was where the best view was, too.
The courtyard, while classes weren't going at the time, was usually a good example of how ridiculous the place was. Kids were jumping each other for so much as farting in the wrong direction, and there was the occasional beat up student sprawled on the ground here and there.
Vivi gave Raphael a pointed look, and gestured to the courtyard with a flourish.
"Welcome to public high school five-five-two," the corner of her mouth turned up in a smirk, "I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time here."

Raphael would smirk as he got the grand tour, it wasn't outside of the realm that he'd already suspected but just the same he'd seemed to miss out on these things or rather her dictation of these events. Violent children acting out simply for the sake of acting out, deviancy like this was reserved for sociopaths, had the country gone so far as to lock the lot of them up here? That wasn't likely much less possible, he'd cringed at the thought of such a world where they were deviated based on moral compass and worse yet he was now suddenly restrained here. A sad premise to rely on, and too late to turn back, he'd need to make something new here he'd owed his mother that much.
"No doubt." Raphael would frown, his easy to please demeanor more or less dissipating by the second until reaching an outright smolder. "So you just run?" Raphael's knuckles would clamp down cracking from the pressure he'd exert on them. "You'd just let these kids maul and abuse each other without hopes of altercation?"
Suffice to say he was a little upset by the nature of them. Those with power should use that power to change things, to make the world better not hold onto it for themselves to become infinitely stronger. What would make this place stronger as a whole if people stopped running, if they lent each other arms, trained them to control the violence. People like Vi could very well change it if they considered the option and stuck to it with an unwavering constitution.

BOW TO yo senpai @tagged "I was trolling the people I ran from. In fact, it was more like I ditched them than ran away from them," she glanced at Raph, "When something serious comes up I either give'em a warning or rough'em up a bit. It's kind of my job, actually."
She was silent for a moment.
"This school runs on violence. Honestly... I add more to it than I run from it, if you consider beating up bullies a factor."
Vivi didn't want to put to much effort into convincing the guy she wasn't a coward who fled the action. If he stuck around long enough, chances were he'd see her habits, and perhaps even hear about her Pillar position. People don't get those by running away.
If he did ever figure how Vivi really was though, she knew he probably wouldn't approve of it anymore than his misconception of her. Not that it mattered to Vivi, she didn't care whether he approved of her or not as long as he really knew what she was like before judging.
"I don't know of the violence here could ever completely be subdued. Lessened? Maybe. Stopped? Not likely... unless the school just straight up got shut down. I'm sorry you got pulled into this mess."

Raphael was thrown off a tad notably, he knew that there was violence to the school but he wasn't entirely sure what this girl was getting at. Vivian proclaimed that she'd teased them and prompted that serious behavior and then followed it up by settling them in line by furthering the tactful violence. It confused him significantly, one couldn't solve violence by promoting further violence that was made evident by the wars that'd traced their way across human history any observer could make note of that. Giving her the benefit of the doubt he'd figure that her goal was in fact to promote violence that the school system that she'd hid behind used it as a crutch.
"I don't get it." Raphael would state bluntly, he wasn't afraid of feeling stupid, well maybe a little bit as it'd be made evident with rosy little patches emerging at his cheeks. He wasn't afraid to put his mind out there though and maybe influence one soul, a goal he had no means of doing by force but with the reeling sense in his blood prompting him to do just that.
Then of course she'd apologize, an apology that wasn't hers to give. Raph wasn't sure how to respond to it, rather meekly irking it away or engaging it with rage it wasn't her fault he was here this was of his own doing a new path to chart his own stars.
"Do you even try?" Raphael stated again rather bluntly challenging her former statement about the fact that she'd contributed her fair share to the violence. Being the figure he was those rosy cheeks would fade and with them a perishable sigh overcoming his harsh features. "The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." Raphael would stare at her harshly not looking to apologize anytime soon but hoping maybe she'd read into his words, that they held some sort of weight.
