"Well I pick myself up a copy before we leave, this is a library after all." He said, with a small chuckle, though purposely keeping it low in volume so as not to annoy people as he made his move. The part of parental affection as a theme of the book had grabbed Steven's attention.

Steven pulled out his phone and quickly, made a note of the book's name. Just in case the library didn't have a copy currently. That way he wouldn't forget and would be able to pick a copy up somewhere else instead. Then slipping the phone away he made his move.

Steven started to see mistakes in his play, and frowned at himself as he moved a piece and tried to bring the game back on track, to what he was planning.

Zoe didn't seem to be having the same issues Steven did. As she moved her piece, eating his own, she kept the same calm expression.

Awesome, he had lost a piece, however he would force his face to be blank. Trying not to give away, if it was one of the two piece he didn't wanted taken. Then he moved his piece, trying to predict Zoe move's for his plan of attack.

Steven was quick to make his next move. Getting into the game, it would be interesting to see if he could be out played, or if like their chess game Steven would win, because her playing to aggressively.

So much grid lock, so much. He laughed a low chuckle and then smiled back at Zoe as he made his move. "Having fun?" He asked, the silence hadn't been awkward however he felt like breaking it.

"Good." Steven muttered and made his move. He could see either the game ending soon, with like hardly anything being taken, or a game that could go on for ages and become a blood bath.
