A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Kyou was leaning against a street light with his arms crossed, a look of contemplation on his face. He was waiting outside the cafe where he said he'd meet Zoe, and he tried to stay calm despite how excited he was. Kyou hadn't felt this excited since... well, the attempted murder with the "Russian roulette" firecracker incident at the school, but that was, to him, not nearly as interesting a case as what was in store for him. Though he couldn't help but to feel slightly nervous. He'd never had someone come over to his house before--even if it was strictly professional. His home was practically an antique, and most of its insides were covered in dust from lack of use. If anyone were to look on the outside, it would have looked like a haunted house--in fact, he'd heard a few whispers in the hallways about there being an "old haunted house" with his home address. But what he was most concerned about was whether or not Dr. Tadashi would be home...
Kyou bowed his head slightly, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "I swear, if that old geezer is home and screws around with us, things are only going to get really bad really quick. And I hope Zoe wouldn't have to witness that... That guy brings out the worst in me sometimes, I swear." He sighed.

Zoe would approach Kyou. She held her bookbag against her chest, with the usual musical instrument case peeking out of it. Only it's corner was visible, so it'd be difficult to see what kind it was. She'd sling the back over her shoulder and wave towards the boy with her free hand. ”Ah hello Kyou! I'm glad you could make it,” she spoke, smiling.
”Well, lead the way!”

Kyou smiled and waved back. "Hello, Zoe-san!" He placed his hands in his pockets. "Alright, it's this way," he nodded his head off to one direction as he then started to walk. "It's a good fifteen minute walk though... But, I suppose it could be worse. So, um... how are you?"

She nodded softly as he spoke before falling in step with him. Glancing up, Zoe smiled. "Ah yeah, fifteen minutes isn't too bad," she said, her eyes shifted towards Kyou. "Oh, uh, fine... I just had to go get something from my locker... Did you get out of the campus without any trouble?"

Kyou nodded with a slight smile. "Yes, I got out pretty easily... I get into trouble all the time, but I also go by unnoticed all the time, too. It just depends if I want to be seen or not, I guess." He shrugged. He had to wonder what it was that she left for. When she left, it sounded like she had an actual matter to attend to, but he wouldn't pry--after all, he could just be jumping to conclusions and she could have actually just gotten something from her locker. As they walked, he asked, "Did you get your instrument from your locker? Is that your saxophone, or your violin you've got with you? Or is it some other instrument...? You seem to be pretty wide ranged with them..." He gave a light chuckle and then quietly said, "Sometimes I have to wonder if there's anything you aren't good at..."

Zoe nodded as he spoke. "Well, I'm glad you didn't have any trouble... sometimes running into a regulator on your way out can cause trouble," she spoke softly. Looking up, the girl let out a soft yawn. When he asked her about her instrument, she smiled. "Ah, yes, I had to get something out of my locker.." she spoke, nodding softly.
"Er... there are a lot of things I'm not good at... trust me..." she mumbled, looking off to the side.

Kyou gave a small laugh. "I figured, after all... I don't think it's humanly possible to be good at everything." He smiled lightly as he spoke, "But you surely do seem that way. I can't deny that I'm jealous." He shrugged. "But it's not my place to be, I suppose." He then thought, "After all... I'm here for a reason, being jealous of people who are better than me won't really help me at all with achieving my goal... but there's plenty of people better than me, that's the fact. I can't do anything about it, except to try to grow stronger in those fields to become more like them... but still, I would rather be myself than some cheap copy." He stopped in front of a large, old, creepy-as-heck looking house that appeared as though it could easily be hosting mummies and vampires and ghosts. He walked casually up to the front door and took out a key. "Well, we're here," he said, unlocking the door and walking inside, stepping to the side and holding the door open for Zoe.

Zoe watched him as he laughed. She'd look to the ground as her hands gripped her bookbag tightly. ”Yeah... it really isn't possible for that kind of thing to exist...” she'd mumble. In her mind the phase 'but the impossible has already happened multiple times.' She'd glance up at Kyou as he spoke of jealousy. Zoe would bite down on her lower lip before shrugging as they walked. ”Jealousy can be a good thing. It stirs the soul to better itself...”
Her voice would trail off as they came to the hold creepy looking house. She'd blink, clearly surprised by the way the house looked. ”Houses like this exist in New York..?” she mumbled before climbing up the steps to the front door and walking in as he opened the door to the house.

Kyou would sigh with a nod. "It's on the slightly older side of town. Notice it's more tucked away from the other buildings. It's super old, and I guess no one has done anything to rebuild it." He sighed, walking further into the house and leading her. "It's weird, I know. But I suppose it's fitting for someone like me, huh?" He gave a half-hearted laugh before going down some dark steps and stopping at a metal door that seemed out of place from the old house. He started to undo the locks. "I really hope he isn't here. I don't think he is, though..."

Zoe nodded along as Kyou spoke, looking up and down the building's structure. Her eyes would shift as she took in the nooks and crannies curiously. He was right, this building was old... not that it took a genius to figure that out. As Kyou walked in, Zoe would follow, looking up about with shifting eyes.
"Eh? Why? I dont think this old rickety house fits you at all..." she shrugged. Zoe would stop in front of the steps, eyes narrowing gently as she peered into the darkness. "This place is kind of somewhere you'd go to hide from the world... or something..." As she walked down the steps, Zoe blinked.
"Why are there so many locks on it?"

Kyou would grin a little and adjust his bow tie. "Oh, what? Do I not look like an old boring person?" He gave a half-hearted laugh and opened the door to the lab and flicked on the lights, seeing it was vacant. Good. No annoying old man to be seen anywhere. He walked down a few of the steps and said, "Well, we like to keep this place locked off in case of robberies and things like that. If someone who knew about this place tried to break in, they'd probably get through the locks, but it's a precaution for all of the other people... not that anyone comes in here." Kyou shrugged. "What can I say? Dr. Tadashi's a weird old man, I don't know why he had so many installed." He tried to come up with the best excuse he could, but he really wasn't sure... truly, it was because Dr. Tadashi was an odd person, and perhaps he thought having more locks on the door would make it seem more professional and off-limits? Or safer? Who knows...
The lab was unlike the rest of the house, in that it was a large, spacey white room that was filled with lab research, file storage, lab tables, and all kinds of equipment big and small. While the rest of the house seemed like it probably ran on candle lights and the first light bulbs ever to be created on earth, the lab was probably the only room in the entire building that was new and contained fancy things.
Kyou went over to some of the tables and started putting away older projects, cleaning up the place and storing away the other data and research he'd done on more recent projects, and he asked, "Alright, so, where do you want to start?"

Zoe would shrug as she watched him. ”Not really...” The girl's voice would soften as the lights flickered one. The light would wash over the lab, revealing the pure white aesthetic within. The blond girl would stop in her steps, continuing speaking softly. ”You don't seem like an old and boring person.” With that, she began to walk in, eyes scanning the lab curiously. As Kyou continued to speak, she nodded along slowly. ”Hrm I see... that makes sense I guess,” she shrugged. As Kyou seemed busy putting away older projects, she'd whisper too softly for him to hear into her glasses. ”Search Dr. Tadashi and Kyou Kobayashi...” The electronic glasses would begin to search for any information on him on the web.
Once Zoe reached the center of the lab, a smile spread across her lips. Her grip on her bag tightened before she turned to look at Kyou. ”This is perfect Kyou,” she spoke, her grin growing from ear to ear. Zoe would walk over to one of the large computers and reach out to begin typing on it. ”Is there a password on this? Help me get everything turned on and I can show you some of my research after my background check on you and your friend Dr. Tadashi is finished.”

There wouldn't be much information on Kyou on the internet--aside from a book character that shared the same name as him, and the basic information given to the school about his height and blood type. Nothing that could really be taken of as information. Dr. Tadashi, on the other hand, was, according to some databases, a man who graduated a good school in Japan and finished his college courses to become a doctor, but he never got much farther than a nurse. His main jobs include developments for every day things, one of them being toothpaste. He's seventy years old, single, and had never been married either. However, he'd moved to America to inherit his great uncle's manor and has lived there since, leaving behind his friends and associates he'd made when he was living in Japan.
Kyou nod and take her instructions, turning on the few computers and other machines, and punching in whatever passwords may have been needed. He paused, asking, "Background check? What, do you think I'm a criminal?" He stopped. Then again, he was attending PHS 552. For all she knew, he was a mastermind serial killer. "Oh, I see..."

Zoe would glance up at Kyou, tilting her head. A bright smile would cross her face as she laughed lightly. ”Of course not Kyou...” Then she'd take a step towards him, her smile still ever present. ”It's just the only mention of a Kyou Kobayashi is the name of a character from a book aside from the information given to the school... There aren't even records from previous middle schools or anything at all.” Her voice was light and happy, but there was a dangerous glint in her eyes.
”Then we have your strange behavior in the library, so tell me Kyou, what's up? Who are you before I get serious about my research.” Her voice phrased it as a command rather than a question.

Well, that wasn't good. What was he supposed to say? Kyou looked away nervously, unsure of what to say to the blonde girl. Already he felt like he was somewhat on her bad side, and sure he wanted to work with her on this project and learn more, but he didn't really trust her, per se... He wasn't supposed to talk about it--it was vital that he didn't speak of this incident to anyone--even if it was someone who could be trusted... but then, Kyou trusted no one...
"Uh... T-that's a long and rather boring story," he said. "But... um..." He frowned, trying to come up with an explanation that would satisfy her without giving everything away. "You see... according to the internet, I um... I'm dead." He gave a small laugh. "But we decided it'd be a good idea to start over entirely, so, here I am... and, um... my name's not really Kyou, I guess, but I go by it, so I don't really see any problems..."
The shorter boy would take a few steps back whenever she'd walk closer, she made him pretty uncomfortable. Not that he was necessarily afraid of her or anything, but the way she smiled whilst speaking of such serious things... Kyou felt like that smile on her face would twist into a frown as she pulled out a concealed knife and plunged it into your neck.
"So... um... to answer your question, I guess... when I was a kid, I was involved in something that, well... it's just better for everyone if people think I'm dead and eventually forget about my entire existence, you know?" He shrugged, not really knowing what to say. He felt like she wouldn't be pleased with that, and she'd yell at him and barge off (which he didn't want because he was really interested in this project), or she'd get upset at him for lying or avoiding the truth, and beat him up with something. After all, in the lab, there were plenty of things that could be used as weapons, and Kyou was pretty sure that she'd be able to take him down in a fight at any time. "I'm not really allowed to talk about it, sorry."
