A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

'Gotta keep...controlling my breathing...' Phoebe thought, wondering if she hadn't putt too much into the initial attacks and keeping up with followthroughs...
But, she felt the graze, and lowered her hands a little with a weary exhale. She got him, she felt. Just. No need to press forward. She took a slow breath and stepped back, straightening with her inhale. Her expression smoothed out from set and serious to soft and smiling.
"You've been getting faster, Ali." She responded fondly, striving to keep her breaths even to minimize her discomfort. She could feel a slight pull in her side from that last combo. "I won't be able to keep up with you, soon..~ Haha. I can hardly keep up with your evasions right now."
To be honest, she was worried about that. And her pleased expression melted away, slow but surely, as she brought her hands up into a high guard. It was risky. There was nothing saying Allen couldn't do as she had done, but...her little brother also had a protective streak several miles wide. She didn't think he would try to cause her to overexert herself, or strike her where she was already injured.
So. She waited, bending her knees slightly.

He grinned. He liked that she praised him. He knew he was getting better but...she was always there to keep up with him.
"I've always had the edge on speed but...you've gotten faster too. I wasn't expecting you so close after my dodges. Was hard to keep up too."
He would gesture at the water, taking a few deep breaths of his own.
"Why not grab a drink really quick. I don't want you to rip stitches or hyperextend muscles or bones from your injuries."
Yup. Several miles wide.

She blinked slowly and looked towards the water before relaxing, her hands dropping. Her eyes glinted in amusement and a smile was quick to touch her lips as she took the offered break. She stepped over to grab the extra and take a sip.
"...mmm... You'll have to watch out: other people are going to be smart enough to try and take advantage of it, too. I mean~ I have the edge on that because we work together so often~"
She took another sip with a careful, testing breath. Yeah...she could feel the weariness that came with being injured and out of it for a few days. But it was also good. It meant that her body was healing.
Or, you know, trying to.
She set the bottle down and slowly walked back over to where she had been, before. Turning back to Allen, she brought her hands back up to where they had been, before, satisfied with her quick mental check on the positioning of her body, letting her weight be balanced more upon the balls of her feet for ease of mobility.
'It's your show, lil' bro~'

He would think a moment before nodding.
"Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure to keep an eye on that from here on out."
As soon as she was in position, he would grin. He brought his hands up- mimicking her fighting stance and style entirely. He would move forward like a boxer, and aim a quick jab for her face- obviously blocked or dodged.
It was the following uppercut that he wanted her to take.

What would it be..?
Her eyes momentarily brightened as he mimicked her, and she swayed slightly, waiting for him to come in closer, only moving slightly backwards in turn so she had just a bit of space. The jab was - well, it was to be expected - something she leaned back and to the side slightly to better parry with, using her opposite hand and forearm to push against the outside of his arm, trying to get him to twist a little too far so he couldn't follow up by pressing her weight into the arm.
But just for a moment, as she danced backwards without her normal amount of spring to her feet.

Allen hoped to finish this quick.
When she leaned and pushed on the outside of his arm, he did something unconventional. He bent the arm and jumped at her body, whose shifted weight and leaning stance might make a dodge difficult. His arm, being bent, would be jutting out the elbow which Allen would use in an attempt to hit her left cheek, which might be exposed from the arm push.

That was, of course, a huge downside with the leaning aspect of boxing.
And her brother was right to use it to his advantage. Phoebe's eyes widened as she could see him jump, and his elbow. It connected to her cheek even as she opened her palm and shoved against his chest, trying to even push with her arm against his, as if trying to lengthen the distance between his elbow and her cheek.
Just a little too slow.
She stepped back - more stumbled, between the blow and further imbalance of trying to push him away - and backpedaled, a little quicker than she wanted to move, given her ribs. But, at least she didn't fall. She rocked a little, shaking her head. That actually stung, but her ribs were where her issue currently lie. She pulled in a quick breath, and then held it a moment, trying to slowly exhale. Oh, leaning was bad. But at least she didn't fall.
"...ugh, nice. Very nice."

Allen grinned. He had made contact. And though she had pushed him backward to stumble, his elbow strike meant victory. He bent over, planting his hands on his knees, taking a few quick breaths.
"Thanks. Aaron taught me that one."
He would wipe the back of his hand over his brow, removing some of the sweat there.
"How about we stop here. I can tell you are in pain and We don't want to risk damage. Besides, a good ten minutes of diving and dancing and punching is still a solid workout for both of us."
Worried brother was worried.

Though it pained her just as much to agree to stopping, Phoebe straightened and nodded, reluctant yet relieved at the same time to spare her ribs further discomfort today. She exhaled a little with a small smile and moved forward to Allen, lightly planting her hand against the side of his face before clasping his shoulder.
"Thanks, Ali. You're the best, always looking out for me~ Don't worry so much, though, okay? I would have stopped us after another go or two, anyway."
Well. Maybe. Part of her problem was not knowing when to quit, but at least that didn't stem from getting knocked in the head, this time. She reached up with her free hand, lightly brushing against her temples and the side of her face, wiping away the sweat a little.

Allen would smile at the touch, a little sheepish.
"I know. Can't help it."
He would gesture toward the house.
"Why not head inside, grab some lemonade. I wanted to chat with you a bit anyway."
He'd let her lead the way.

The edges of her eyes crinkled with warmth, but she nodded, happily.
"Sure thing~" She would, however, snag the water she'd grabbed in their brief respite between exchanges and slowly make her way up the steps and back inside to pull out the lemonade--which wasn't any chemical crap. Water, lemon juice (and slices, yum!) and some sugar. The best kind.
She would pull two glasses from the cupboard, thankful she could reach that high. Setting them upright, she poured after tossing in a few pieces of ice, the water stored in the fridge. If Allen grabbed his glass, she wouldn't bother to take it to the table--but if he hadn't, she would pick it up and move to go sit on the couch, choosing to be comfortable.

Allen would make one identical to hers, following her into the living room and having a seat. He curled his left leg under him, holding his drink in his right hand and taking a long swig before speaking. He wanted to give her a moment to relax, after all.
"Listen...Leon spoke with me the other day. Apparently the group that took you is one of the largest gangs in new york. I suspect they will try again. I was thinking...why don't you ask the Pillars for help or protection? Or maybe one of the teachers while you are on campus?"
Allen. Always trying to think of ways to protect her.

Instead of her normal, much-favoured positions that let her curl up in what amounted to be a ball on the couch, Phoebe sat with her back straight against the cushions, her feet flat on the floor. She took a slow sip of her drink, enjoying both the flavour and the fact it was cold.
Even if it was chilly outside, she was certainly warmed by their brief little spar.
Listen? Didn't she always?
Phoebe smiled, turning to look at Allen and hear what he had to say. Though she hid her slight frown behind her glass by taking another sip of her lemonade...she was concerned, and was right to be.
"Well... I could try. But then I want you to, as well."
She eyed him. That wasn't a request he could deny, and she was ready to shut down any argument he might have over it with only a very simple point.

He waved her off.
"They don't even give a damn about me, this group. I've been alone plenty of times and haven't seen any problems. But I suspect...they might use me eventually. It's one reason i wanted the Lightning gang to move in here. Into our home. Because they probably know where we live, and if they see an entire gang here they might be a little less willing to assault the place. And I'm usually with two or three of them..."
He sighed.
"But...if you really would feel better, I'd be willing to talk to someone. Ali, maybe. Kid seems like he has his head on straight."

"I'm caught between thinking maybe they're large enough they wouldn't care about one thing being botched. But...I can't ignore that they would t try again, either. And they would use you to get to me, eventually. They were too organized in that attempt to not be able to try to take you to get to me...so it'd make me feel tons better if you would. Okay? I'll talk with Saya."
Mark would agree if he thought it would get him into her pants, but...not only was she not interested, Allen would freak out if she said she'd ask him. Best to not.
