Haven't been here in awhile, surprised no ones here today.
Today was another day of Musashi's days off. Of what exactly? Just discovering talent and trying to figure out exactly what the status of the school were and who the top people was now. Things were so much different than the last time he was here in the courtyard of the school. Different people were in charge, and a lot of the people that he had knew that were as weak as him was now strong. He couldn't believe it things had changed so much, but it just goes to show the amount of ambition that some of these students had. At least in terms of getting stronger. Musashi still belieived that the leaders of the school lacked conviction because they too did not have the same goals. They were all on the same team after all.
He knew that everyone couldn't be the same, but they were standing for a certain position and it was usually expected that they had the same goals. He hadn't talked to Shugo, but if he was anything like he was the first time they fought he was definitely the 'typical hero' type which was fine. The last time he talked to Vivi. Well she was just someone he could never imagine being a pillar, but maybe something in her changed and now she was becoming the person she always was deep down inside. He talked to Lex, and despite his contradicting opinions he was mature enough to acknowledge his fault. But that didn't mean he was fit. Heck, it didn't mean that neither of them was a fit, he just felt like something was off about this team of pillars.
The only person he was dying to talk to besides Vivian was Macht. He has only seen him twice, but his brother had encountered him a lot more than he did. They even fought once. His brother even had the nerve to say that he was worthy of being a rival. Something that was extremely rare coming from his brother. So when he came home from their other home in Tokyo Ty had better be prepared. Because rumor had it that he was definitely not the same person anymore.
"I guess being a normal student today couldn't be so bad. I think I have ran into enough new people as it is for right now.. A day off couldn't hurt."

Notes --- |
Vivi walked through the courtyard and brushed a lock of her violet hair behind her ear as she checked her recent text messages. Another message from her missing Aunt, Piper. The damn woman had been gone for exactly a week now. Funny, Vivi finds out not too long ago that she actually has a living relative, she sticks around for two weeks and disappears without a trace. Vivi arched an eye brow when she saw Piper had sent her the same text message as last time.
Been busy Not dead Business taken care of Back soon
X She always signed her messages to Vivi as ‘X’, and Vivi signed hers as ’66’. More perceptive people could probably imagine why. The small girl let out snort of exasperation and pocketed her phone. Upon realizing she was just about to run into someone she halted in her tracks, and looked up at said person. Super tall guy, dark hair and stuff… where had she seen this guy before?
Vivi folded her arms and stared up at the guy for a moment before snapping out of it. It was Musashi! He just had his original hair color back. Hopefully he’d recognize her too... well, seeing as the last time they spoken she had much shorter hair, a very different demeanor, and uhh… was differently shaped.
“Musashi!” she tilted her head to the side and grinned, “It’s been a while since I’ve talked to you or your brother. How've you two been holding up?”

"Well Looky here!"
She was the absolute last person Musashi expected to run into. If anything he was sure that she was the pillar he was probably going to have to call a favor in to talk to because he hadn't seen her anywhere in the school. Other than needing to talk to the School Captain himself she was the person he was looking forward to talking to the most. And everything that he anticipated was definitely worth the wait. She had changed and grown so much over the past couple of months. He remembered when he first encounter how dark her personality seem to be, and that wasn't to say that it still wasnt' there, but now it just seemed like she had a ton of more confidence and he couldn't be more happy.
For now he would enjoy their first moment back together for a long as he could before he started talking about shit dealing with the school. There was so much he wanted to know. The first one of course being how she got so strong. He remembered how weak she was the last time he and his brother encountered them. No offense to her of course, but she looked like she was going through a lot at the time being. "Well I guess since Ty isn't here I'll speak for myself." He would say with a smile on his face. Ty was currently still in Tokyo so he wouldn't be back to the school to 'run' things for awhile.
"But I have been doing great. Me and Ty traveled home to Tokyo were we used to live and did... A lot of thinking, training, and planning... His training being more intense, but I think now that I'm back that I'm getting better."
"But now that I'm back I just have to ask... How did you manage to grow this much? You look better, your seem a lot better emotionally, and word has it that your crazy strong now."

i will break the spell you put on me | everywhere i go, i am spellbound; you cannot have this control on me |
Notes --- | Tokyo, huh? Vivi recalled Ty mentioning that the one day they met on the roof top, it sounded like an interesting place. Seeing Musashi again helped her to realize how much she'd enjoyed the Hattori's company, even back when she disliked most people she came across. Even if she hadn't known them too well, or talked to them that much, she had taken an almost immediate liking to them, and had missed seeing them around.
"Ahh, welcome back!" she said, "It feels good to get stronger, that's for sure. I know it really frustrated me always being the weakest when I first transferred here."
The violet haired girl found herself pausing to think when the questions came.
"How did you manage to grow this much? You look better, your seem a lot better emotionally, and word has it that your crazy strong now."
Vivi knew she was stronger than when she first got there, but it hadn't really occurred to her how much she had changed, and now that she thought about it, she saw that it was a lot. She was no longer so closed off and terrible at interacting with others, she was more emotionally stable, and not so weak anymore either.
"Well, that's a good question," Vivi scratched the back of her head and glanced up at the sky for a moment, "I've always had a strong will, and I think channeling that in the right direction helped a lot. You heard about the incidents with Riot, yeah? After what happened in the court yard, I decided I needed to get stronger so that'd never happen again. It was like a catalyst, I guess. After that I trained hard, and got into a shit ton of fights. And well... here I am now."
She held her arms out to her side and chuckled.
"I don't look like much, but I can hold my own when the time comes to it."
Though she didn't vocalize it, Vivi supposed the improvement in her mental state came with the strength and confidence, and finally taking some time to see some good in the world.

Things around the school really had been changing. Probably not in the way everyone wanted, but in the way that the people who wanted to make change now have the strength to do it. When he got here there was only so many people in the school that had the strength to really make things happening, now it was like the numbers were sky rocketing. Perhaps everyone in the school was pulling a MLB and was taking steroids. Whatever it was, it was working to perfection. The person he was looking at right now was a night and day difference than when he had first seen her that day in the courtyard.
Musshi wondered what his brother might say to her. He would still probably treat her the same way, his brother was always better with words after all. He was sure that once his brother got back that she would see a different person as well. So far all the change that had happened within himself was still dormant. For now he had to make everyone believe that he was still the same old Musashi. Which he still was, but there was just a lot more to him now that he wasn't ready to reveal. He wasn't strong enough yet. However, for now he would just enjoy the rest of this moment trying to catch up with an old friend.
"I bet you can hold your own. I mean you are one of the shining Pillars of the school." Musashi once had a dream to become a Pillar in the school system. It was something that he wanted ever since he was a freshman, but after coming home from Tokyo something about that position just begin to feel like it wasn't for him. Perhaps he was a lot more like his father besides his looks. "So.... Now that your popular and crazy strong, I've bet you had lots of boyfriends eh?" He figured the question was probably a bit personal, but he couldn't help but ask such a thing. Boyfriends and girlfriends usually came with the title of popularity.

Notes --- IM BACK NOW SO
IM SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG | “I can hold my own with most,” Vivi scratched the back of her head and glanced up at the sky for a moment, before looking back to him, “Winnings a different story though. Depends on who I’m fighting.”
The girl raised an eye brow at his next comment and opened her mouth to respond, but found herself at a loss for words. That wasn’t something that happened often these days, but his next question made her think more.
That was something about the Hattori boys, even if it was just a random conversation they really got her thinking when she talked to them. Popular? She wasn’t sure if that was the case, though she knew many around the school.
Now, lots of boy friends? Her mind immediately flew to Macht, and she resisted the impulse to smack herself in the forehead. She always kept her training, studies, and overall survival as priorities, so Vivi had avoided falling for boys. Sadly, she screwed up.
While she had let go, and knew that there could never be anything between them, she always thought back to him whenever a question like this was posed.
"Not really," she replied simply and shrugged her shoulders, "And I dunno if I'd qualify as popular. Maybe well known, but not popular by any means."

Musashi could tell that she was probably just being really respectful of the fact of how strong she really was, and that necessarily wasn't a bad thing. At least she manage to stay humble, but from what he heard about her there was no doubt that she was definitely one of the stronger people in the school. If not one of the strongest to be exact. Since he had came back to the school all he heard about was her and the rest of the pillars.
"I can definitely respect that answer, but I have heard otherwise."
Musashi continued to listen to the rest of what she had to say, and the more she talked the bigger the grin on his face grew. Maybe being on the other end of the stick was completely different. While everyone else in the world, well the school was running there mouths about her she probably had no idea. Good or bad at that. She was probably just so focused on her priorities that she didn't have the time to think about all of that, but Musashi had plenty of it. Especially since there was nothing else left for him to do in the school until he got stronger.
Getting back to her, he was sure that there was plenty of guys in the school that wanted her, but she probably just never had the time for them. Not to mention most of the them were probably just flat out weak and stupid. "Being well known... Being popular. Aren't they the same thing?" He would say to her rhetorically. Not to be a jerk of course, but it was a thought he came across before he ran into fellow student Marcelis. "If you are well known then typically you are popular. If you are popular then typically you are well known."
"So Vivian, welcome to the popular club. Your name in everyone's ear and mouth. At least thats all I have been hearing since I have gotten back... I mean my goodness look at you, Your like a woman now.... Or something?" His last statement sounding as if he was confused since he didn't really have much experience observing woman. "Anyways not to be awkward, but what are your plans and goals for this school since you are now one of its protectors?"

Notes --- | Vivi noted his smile, and began to wonder why he was so happy. Or maybe he was just amused? Was she saying something funny? She thought about what he said for a moment. Perhaps popularity and being well known were the same thing… but not always. Like some people were well known, but disliked. Did that count as being popular?
As he spoke, she found herself smiling a bit as well. She wasn’t terribly concerned with how the students of the school saw her, but naturally she’d prefer it if she was well-liked… And was she really spoken of as much as he said? It almost seemed like a cause for concern. In any case, she felt her face heat up slightly at his mention of her being like a woman now. Other than that, she didn’t show too much of a reaction.
“A woman? Me? I suppose I have grown up a bit,” Vivi chuckled.
Killing things, and almost killing myself, must have changed me some, after all.
“Plans? Uuum… to survive high school, help everyone else survive high school and to put any fuck boys in their places I guess.”

"You have definitely grown up a lot. My Brother would definitely think so."
He couldn't wait for his brother to come back to see what had changed about the school, but most importantly her. If there was anyone in the school his brother probably made some kind of bond with it was Vivian the assistant. For a long time he wanted to know why he referred to her that way, but perhaps it was something that a silly boy like him would never be able to truly understand. He had only seen them interact with each other just once, and the fact that he neglected to mention anything about her was definitely a big deal.
Maybe he would finally learn what that was when he came back to school. He was sure that he would be excited to see his old friend all 'grown' up and sexy. Not to mention the most important part that she was still single, but not ready to mingle. But he was sure that his brother was one of the few people in the school that would actually have the ability to change that. For now he would keep his focus on himself and her without the thought of his big brother. "So I guess your just like most of the people in the school. Just trying to survive. I can definitely understand why one would just want to survive a crap place like this, but for some reason I want to do more for this place ya know?"
He was glad to know that she was going to get rid of most of the people in the school that was going to causing the chaos, but he personally just felt like it would be enough. He felt like the school needed more order. Even the chaos needed to be more organized. There needed to be some sort of focus that everyone could tie there aggression to. Musashi would shake his head at the rambling thoughts he had going on in his mind. Here he was connecting with an old friend and the only thing he was worried about was the damn school. Those thoughts could sure wait.
"So I have to ask, besides trying to survive and doing your job as a Pillar what else do you do? Like do you have any other hobbies that you like to do for fun since a boyfriend isn't taking up your precious time?"

I'm gonna try to be more consistent with posting from here on out. Sorry for the wait! |
“He would, huh? Man, I haven’t talked to that guy in a good bit of time,” she furrowed her brow slightly and looked at the ground, as if deep in thought. Being honest with herself, she really did want to see him again. That felt strange, but the fact that she really did care about what this dude would think about what she’d become was even more so. Hell, she cared what both the Hattoris thought. She couldn’t place her finger on why or what for, but she held a degree of respect for the two boys, and felt herself inexplicably drawn to them. “Like aiming a bit past survival?” she raised an eye brow, “Well, yeah. I’ve been trying to preserve the peace to a certain extent I guess but the whole thing feels jacked up. I see a bunch of punks beating the shit out of someone and what do I do? I beat the shit out of them. Yeah, it stops the fight faster and maybe scares them into not wanting to fight when I’m nearby but… eh. It’s really hard to do much more than save the hides of yourself and your friends and uphold a fragile peace,” she paused for a moment and chuckled, “You Hattori kids have always been good at making me talk and think more than I’m used to.” "So I have to ask, besides trying to survive and doing your job as a Pillar what else do you do? Like do you have any other hobbies that you like to do for fun since a boyfriend isn't taking up your precious time?" “Hot damn, that’s a good question…” she thought aloud. What did she do? Her life seemed to have practically been consumed by the school ever since Riot… When she got off school, she usually either went to work or trained so she could defend herself from—you guessed it—punks in the school or punks attacking it. Most of her friends were from this school and she’d only been there for several months… Holy crap, she needed a life. “Well first off I’m not avoiding being in a relationship ‘cause I think I’m too good and my times to precious to waste on anyone,” Vivi spoke up, “But as for hobbies… I like to do pencil sketches, study martial arts, dance ballet—” Oh… oh, fuck no. Did she just say that out loud? The violet haired girl looked around to make sure no one had heard it… well, except for Musashi. What would people think if they knew their Third Pillar used to be a ‘ballerina’, as it were? Most people thought of the dance as something pansy-ish or some shit, but what they didn’t know was that it was probably one of the most athletic dance styles out there and took a hell of a lot of core strength, skill, and perseverance. Even so, she’d never mentioned her interest in dance to anyone around this place. Well, until now. Damn that Hattori for making her so comfortable talking to him. “I mean—uh,” she furrowed her brow and blinked several times, “I meant to say— just… damn it.”

Hmmmm..
He begin to wonder if his views on the pillars were a bit too radical. None of them were perfect, but for the most part they seemed to be aware of there action whether it be good or bad. This was definitely a good thing to here. With the way everyone had been talking he thought that she probably had transformed into a huge jerk, but she still seemed every bit of the same as the Vivian he met months ago. Of course there were some differences, but all of them were in the area of maturity so that was always a good thing.
"Well you know how 'us' Hattoris are. We like stimulating the mind of the student body. Ty being a bit better at it than I am, but maybe thats because hes a lot colder."
He'd say jokingly as he looked up into the sky wondering what his brother was doing. He couldn't wait until he got back to the school. There were so many things that they had to talk about and discuss. He wondered how much stronger he would be sense he was spending extra time in Tokyo. After his response to that things were going to get extremely interesting. He always wanted to know what Vivian did in her free time. He never really got the chance to ask her about that because of how suddenly he and his brother left. The Hattori listened carefully as she first commented sarcastically to what he said earlier before seriously answering his questions.
Ballet?!
He was shocked to here such a thing from someone like Vivian. He never imagined her to be that kind of girl. The way he had seen her before was never going to be the same after hearing that. She of course said other cool stuff, not to say that Ballet wasn't cool, but he never saw her as that kind of girl. The Hattori grinned as he begin to start viewing her as more of a girly girl rather than the tom boy he knew that she was. "Aww.. Theres no shame in being a 'dancer'." He could tell she was a little embarassed by the fact that she said that, but it was all good in his books. Hell, her being a ballet dancer was actually pretty cool.
There was always this one move that he saw them do often that he desperately wanted to learn because of how cool it was. "Ballet dancers do some of the most hardcore things. Even a martial arts fighter like myself would struggle in the world of Ballet." The boy would say as he crossed his arms over his chest with a smirk on his face. "I even took interest in it for awhile as a kid, but you know how dads are." He'd say shaking his head.

Wasn’t she just musing about how she gave a damn what the Hattoris thought about her? Yeah she was. And then she went off and said she did fricken ballet. Since when did she ever have trouble blurting things out she didn’t mean to say!?
Vivi’s face remained mostly calm, but if Musashi was paying enough attention he’d probably notice her face taking on a slight tinge of pink. Really, this was a problem with pride. She needed to put it in her back pocket, at least for a little while.
“I owe my flexibility and a lot of my leg strength to doing ballet as a child,” Vivi scratched her head, “And I never wore a fuck’n tutu or anything—" Oh lord, that smirk. What was he thinking right now? That she was a lame? Girly? Thinking about black mail opportunities? Her brow furrowed slightly.
“Wipe that smile off!” she aimed a quick punch at his gut. There wasn't much force behind it, maybe enough to shock him if he wasn’t flexing, but otherwise it wouldn't cause him pain.
She quickly stepped away and looked up at him. While she looked irritated, the corner of her mouth quirked up in a hint of a smile. Nah, she wasn’t mad at him, just at herself. The punch was just a way of getting some aggression out, per se.
“Well, what about you, tough guy? What do you do in your spare time? Are you secretly a pro knitter, or a My Little Pony guru or something?” |

Seeing the more human side of Vivian definitely changed his opinion on her, but it wasn't in a bad way. Perhaps this needed to happen for Musashi to understand something more about each of the pillars. Everyone's perception of her was one sided. She was still just a regular person at the end of the day. Just your average scary normal person who could possibly kill you anytime she wanted. The Hattori enjoyed the fact that she was embarrassed by the fact that she was in ballet. What he did not enjoy was the punch that she threw at his guts.
His eyes widen in shock as he stumble two steps back before rubbing against his stomach as if he had gotten shot, just to only realize that the punch practically had no force behind. "That was a scary moment." He'd say a loud before breathing in and sighing in relief for the fact that it wasn't a real punch. The Hattori would make sure from this point and on that he would never try to get on the bad side of this one. Luckily everything was still fun and games judging from the look she had on her face. "Tough guy? I wouldn't say anything like that." He'd say with a grin on his face before playfully flexing his left biceps.
"But honestly, I actually do know how to do that knitting stuff. My mom use to do it all the time, and whenever I had the chance to hang with her I would join her. Probably the reason why I'm so good at video games. Which is another one of my hobbies." The Hattori say, shrugging his shoulders before continuing what else he had to say. "I also enjoy playing football on my free time. Probably going to be on the team this upcoming season, and I enjoy training in the art of Ninjutsu. Something my father taught me at a young age." He'd say with a grin on his face.
"See that wasn't so bad, nothing to be ashamed of right?"
He say to the girl teasing her. There was honestly nothing wrong with the fact that she was in ballet. Musashi personally thought that it was something that was cool, and something that she just own up to, but this was Vivian they were talking about. She probably had this hardcore reputation she had to keep up with. Musashi always imagined that kind of mindset had to be boring and lonely, but he knew at some point when he started his gang that he would probably have to adopt the same persona. It was in fact one of the only ways you could get respect from others without directly having to prey on there fears and insecurities.
"In all seriousness though, its been really good seeing you, we should hang out sometime whenever your not out there beating up people an stuff. AND maybe, I could even take you out on a date."
He'd say with a cocky expression on his face as he pointed to his chest. He wondered how she would respond to such a silly comment. He was however, serious about wanting to hang out with her some more. He knew that they weren't technically that close to begin with, but he was friends with her way before she was the person she was today. So that had to count for something right? They had a lot to catch up on, and maybe he could actually develop a good relationship with her like he had the chance to do before he disappeared back to Tokyo with his brother.

Vivi took note of Musashi’s surprise when she play punched him. Perhaps he thought it’d been a real attack at first—it probably wasn’t a very mature thing for her to do. But such were most of the actions she did completely on impulse. Damn, she needed to work on that. Better results usually came around when she thought things out better, but fortunately Musashi took things with grace.
The corner of Vivi’s mouth turned up in a smirk when he quipped and flexed his muscle, dang boi, and her smile widened noticeably when he began to talk about himself. So he really was a knitter? Who woulda thought? It seemed Musashi had a pretty diverse set of skills and hobbies, which made her think he probably was one who liked to make good use of his time. If you have time to spare, why not learn a skill?
“Yeah, yeah. Wasn’t so bad,” Vivi closed shut and rolled her eyes before looking back at him again, “But knitting, foot ball and ninjutsu? That’s pretty rad. Though I’ve gotta ask… whats this ninjutsu thing? Ninja style combat or something…?”
"In all seriousness though, its been really good seeing you, we should hang out sometime whenever your not out there beating up people an stuff. AND maybe, I could even take you out on a date."
...
“…whenever your not out there beating up people an stuff.”
Is that what he thought of her? Vivi supposed it wasn’t terribly surprising. Then again, he was probably half teasing. She knew that quite a few students were under the impression she beat up students for fun and craved violence.
She however, liked to believe she did what she thought was best, just in an unconventional way. To her, clinging to the idea of peace and hoping to bring down violent lunatics by coddling and sweet talking them was childish and terribly naive. But that was all just how she looked at things, she understood different people had different opinions.
“It’s been nice seeing you too, brochacho. I’m down to hang out whenever,” a smile tugged at the corners of her lips, “I enjoy your company. As for a date, the great, mighty, and busy would surely consider it.”
She winked at him and folded her arms with an equally cocky expression. Vivi recognized it as a joke and responded in kind—it wasn’t often that she flirted with someone, even jokingly. Then again, she was in a pretty good mood right now.

"Hmmm, no ones every really asked that question before."
The Hattori thought ot himself wondering what approach he should take to answering the questions. For a moment there he honestly didn't have an answer. Not because he didn't know his own fighting style in dept, but because no one actually took the time to ask about it so he never prepared any words to say in a situation like this one. "Well, its just like that stuff you see on TV. Anything involving a Japanese guy with a black mask on making a whole bunch of weird Bruce Lee sounds." He'd say jokingly to her. At least that how most people perceived it to be, but that was just televisions way of ruining everything. Especially in America.
"But honestly, Ninjutsu is a art for that consist of many different forms of martial arts. It consist of eighteen different disciplines. Some examples of that could be Shinobi-Iri which is the art of sealth and entering. Chōhō which would be espionage. I could go on and on forever, but a perfect and simple answer to that question would probably be something a little like this: The traditional Japanese art of stealth, camouflage, and sabotage, developed in feudal times for espionage and now practiced as a martial art."
He'd say to her shrugging his shoulders. Musashi had been training in that art his whole life, and planned to keep training until he mastered all eighteen disciplines. And even after that he would continue to do so. "Also there is another variation to all that I learned. Its the Frank Dux style of ninjutsu. I learned about him after watching some movie called Blood Sport and learned his many different kicking techniques of which my fighting is mostly based upon." After saying all that Musashi would take a good look at his old friend Vivian. She had changed and grown so much. It was still taking him some time to get over the old her because of how much of a change she had made.
But she seemed a lot more happier, and that was definitely the most important thing. "Oh wow, you would actually consider little ole me for a date." He'd say raising a brow with a smile on his face as she winked at him. Surely she was probably joking just as much as he was, but to see she had changed that much that she could be playful like that was mind blowing. "Man I have got to admit.. I'm impress with this new and improve version of you man. You look like a brand new female action figure out of the box. Just brand new an stuff."
