He said as he watched the boy aim a kick towards his ribs. Not a lot of people that he fought at this school actually used kicking to fight. Maybe he could teach him some of the moves that he had learned from his father back when he was growing up. Musashi would grab the ankles of the boys kicking legs with his left hand and would just simply hold on to it. Immediately after grabbing the boys leg he would attempt to send a quick jab with his right hand to the boys knee caps. "Glad to see you implementing kicks into your fighting, but you have to be smart with the way you use them."

Musashi would release the grip of the kids leg so that he could try to regain his balance. Musashi was going to have to put a lot of effort into this kid. After this fighting session was over he would make sure that every fight they had from there on out that he would break down the mistakes of each of his movements so that he could learn from his mistakes. "Yea believe me, aren't we all, but for now just do you best. Try coming at me with something different." Musashi made sure that his last jab to the boys knee was a weak one so that he would still be able to move properly.

There we go, now we are using that part of your brain.

The move that he was doing now was entirely different than the two moves he had done before. So far he was already making more progress than he was before. Perhaps the move would have been more efficient if he was going up against someone on his level, but that wasn't going to be an issue for now. Musashi was going to have him on his level in no time. As the boy came in for kick Musashi would side step to his left so that the kick would miss.

In the process of doing that he would turn around to face the direction that the kid was in and would finally attempt to make some kind of move. After dodging to the kick Musashi would take a few quick step forward of his own and would attempt a right side kick toward the guys chest only using half his kick power just to see what the kid would do.

So far the boy was making pretty decent progress, and despite the fact that he was still kind of holding back he liked seeing the boys anticipating skills grow. He was still definitely the Yukine he grew up with. He had lots of potential and Musashi was going to bring out as much of it as possible. After the boy dodged his kick he would attempt to sweep him off of his vulnerable leg which would come with great success. The sweep would send Musashi falling to his back knocking some of the wind out of him. "Nice move Yukine, but---" If Yukine came in for a few shots while he was on the ground Musashi would attempt to double kick him in his chest or stomach area. If he opted out of making a move Musashi would get up quickly and would get back into a wanna be boxing stance.

Musashi would accept help from Yukine as he got up from off the ground. "I wouldn't call it a weakness, I just see as more of a 'we got a head start' kind of thing." After getting up Musashi would begin to stretch his body and would begin trying to catch his breath. The move was pretty clever and despite the kick not doing any damage the fall definitely did the rest. "And why didn't you follow up with any moves dude? You had me on the ground."

"Well, I'm going to tell you this, especially since your my right hand man now. There will be a time where you will be lying on the ground seemingly defenseless, and I'm telling you now that they wont hesitate to hurt you. So I suggest you learn to do the same." This school was only for the strong. It was just like someone said in this anime he watched a long time ago. Only the strong live, and the weak shall die. He was sure that no one in the school was going to be dying, but getting your ass beat wasn't something that anyone he knew would prefer. There was no room in this school for those kind of feelings, even for a sensitive guy like himself or Yukine.
