Dan stood In front of the park where he had told them to meet but where are they? They are a hole 4 minutes late!
In front of the park was a bear of a man dressed in drill Sargent cosplay chewing a toothpick restlessly tapping his foot
Every pedestrian can be seen adverting their eyes from this terrifying man be it someone walking with their girl friend or jogging no one would look at him in the eye
(Man I sure am lucky to have found a second participant
what are the odds two people who will mercilessly punch fly guy and make him pass out? And in one punch to!) Dan thought with feeling of giddiness in his stomach but he couldn't let it show on his face for he was a drill Sargent today no more mr nice Dan
"Oh here comes one now!" Dan looked down the street to see a (I couldn't spell the good word for the life of me so let's use a shitty one) shadow cast by the now rising sun who was it?

Ruby would walk down the street, her shadow being almost as dark as she was. As usual, she was dressed in dark clothing, and she approached Dan who was dressed up as... a drill sergeant? How fitting. "Hello, Dan. Don't you look fitting for the occasion?" She asked with a smile. She wanted him to go hard on her--she really did want to learn--but she hoped he was only acting tougher than he would be.... but, if not, she'd be okay with that too.

Asch would be short behind Ruby, going up to Dan and apologizing. "Sorry I'm late, man, got a little distracted with something--hey, who's the girl?" He asked, looking over to Ruby who he just now noticed. "Wait... don't tell me I'm gonna have to fight a girl..."

Dan looked at these late miscreants with a scowl that didn't fit Dan or his sparkling crown
*snap* Dan snapped his toothpick in half in his mouth unusually loud
"I AM NOT MAN OR DAN TODAY YOU MAY ONLY REFER TO ME AS SIR!" Dan boomed in a ear drum bursting voice
He would walk over to the two and lean in and say
"HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR!?" Looking at one then the other as the sentence went on

Ruby would raise an eyebrow. Well, he was acting strict. No more Mr. Nice Guy, now she had to listen and take orders. Ruby nodded and saluted. "Yes, sir!" She exclaimed.

Asch would look over to the albino girl. If it weren't for Dan's yelling and getting in their faces, he'd probably have started flirting with her. He nodded at what Dan said and decided to copy the girl, since she seemed to know what she was doing... "Sir, yes sir!" Asch echoed.

Dan would look at rocky "your gonna be one hecha fighter kid you'll be able to spit nails" Dan said liking her
enthusiasm giving her a thumbs up
But then he looked over to asch who seemed to be lagging behind rocky "follow by Rockys example kid then maybe you will 1/5th the solider she is" poking him in the chest with big beefy fingers
Dan turns on his heels with what seemed like practiced grace started walking he then made a big arm motion indicating that he wanted them to follow him into the park
"FALL IN MAN/WOMAN AND I WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR WARM UP!"
He boomed
What you can't see is a great big grin on dans face
(Man this is going well just like the movies) Dan cheerfully thought in his mind

Asch frowned. One fifth of the soldier she was??? But she was a girl! And Asch was pretty sure he was at least twice as strong as she was... oh well... He shrugged it off and then followed Dan, Ruby by his side, following Dan's lead.

Inside the park the two would find a stack of truck tires with ropes attacked to each
"First is a little warm up that shall get the blood pumping"
Dan said smacking them almost knocking them all over
After clambering to get the pile under control he would peek behind himself a little pink in the face
He cleared his throught "I originally wanted to tie wolverines to you but I couldn't find where I can rent them so these are the next best thing" he threw one tire to Rockys foot and two to asch and looked at them expectantly
"We will be jogging across New York singing "I'll make a man out of you" I hope you like mulan" Dan said as he tied a tire to each of his limbs

Ruby watched the tire fall at her feet, and then tied it around one of her limbs like Dan had. "'I'll make a man out of you'? I've never heard of it," Ruby said quietly. She figured Asch probably knew the song, so she'd just follow him and sing whatever he sang when they started...

He was kidding. Wasn't he? Asch looked over to Ruby who was already getting the tire attached to herself, and he got prepared as well. He had twice as much work as the albino, but he had no issues with it. He was pretty strong, after all. "Haven't heard that song in a while," He said. "Fine, whatever." He then started to run off like Dan had said, singing loudly, "LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS!!! TO DEFEAT... THE HUNS!!!" And so on so forth.

"Haha that's the spiret! DID THEY SEND ME DAUGHTERS WHEEN I ASKED FOR SONS!" Dan merrily sung as he made his way towards a bench where his violin lay picked it up and started to play the tune
"your the saddest bunch I ever met, but you can bet before we're through, mister ill make a man out of you!"
At the end of captain shangs solo Dan started jogging towards the busy streets looking at both ruby and asch expecting them to follow

Ruby would look both ways before crossing the street, following Dan. Sure, she was one for danger, but she wasn't stupid, and she didn't want to get hit by a car and end her life within an instant. She continued to follow the two boys, singing along to the strange song she'd never heard before... but she liked the melody!

An hour of straight pjogging and 46 loops of "make a man" later Dan was still happily jogging, singing and playing the violin
Dan looked back at a most likly gasping for breath and only mumbling the lyric duo it looked like it was time for stage
"Not much longer we are almost at the pit stop"
Dan would lead the duo down a few more streets and stop infront if "Grizz's animal café" untie his tires and open the doors
"How about a protein drink" Dan would say wiping what little sweat that was on his forehead

Asch was exhausted. He'd never run so much in his life... and dragging two tires along with him, no less. When Dan finally stopped running and offered a drink, Asch weakly nodded. "Or... how about... like... a gallon of root beer...?" He was so parched he felt as though he could probably drink that much, though he was likely exaggerating a little bit.
