A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Saya paused at the door, reaching out for the handle and would listen for a moment before turning back, leaning against it. She would chew her lip a moment.
"I don't have family. I don't have friends. There is nobody in my life I would put in those categories."
Steven was growing on her, but until he got stronger she wasn't quite willing to commit. Saya would turn her quite liquid eyes on Phoebe. How could she test whether she could trust this person? She seemed so nice...but so had he.
"I need proof that I can trust you."

Phoebe's bottom lip poked out a second before she drew it back, sucking on it as she thought. Everything that Saya said the other night, and what she was saying now...
Pheebs shook her head.
"Well. There's nothing I can really verbally say that will do that. And if I knew what would make you trust me you'd be less inclined to believe me...and thaaaaaaaaaaaaat defeats the purpose at all. So...I guess you'll find out in time if you hang around with me a little. Or...watch me, I guess, if that's more to your liking?"

Saya would shake her head.
"No. I need tangible proof."
Saya thought for a moment...but it didn't take long to come up with the deal. Phoebe might see it as a way to get in good with her, or to make a new ally...but Saya saw it as trusting her brother, Leon, and Phoebe herself to go separate ways.
"I will make a more...forward effort to be your friend...if you will agree to leave the Lightning Gang, and to never join another. I have too many things to deal with, and I would never have another friend in such a position."
And there it was.

Phoebe stared a moment. Her expression went from surprise to consideration to dismay.
"Is this request...uh, about what happened with Brian? Do you know what the Lightning Gang...actually stands for? What we do?"
She worried her bottom lip again. Or did it even matter to Saya?

She stared back.
"I don't care. I'm sure they are...nice, if you joined them. But eventually, they will need to send a message. They will need to stake a claim."
She turned her eyes to examine the room.
"The other day, Leon Sudeki walked into a classroom and put five men in the hospital. He was hurt too but they had terrible injuries. The only word he spoke when asked why he did it was 'pride'. That is the problem with all gangs- they have to send a message in any way they can. And I will be there to make sure they suffer for it. Because that...is who I am."
She looked at Phoebe.
"I'm not asking you to fight them. I'm asking you to leave them. Be a student...and be my friend, if that is what you really want. If you don't want to then...just say so, so that I can go."

"...I won't make excuses for him. In fact, I couldn't even say why he really did it, or if there's some other meaning, and he was just being incoherent. But not everyone reacts perfectly. You provoked him. And I provoked you the other night. And you know...that you reacted in a very similar way that he did. He lashed out at you, and you struck out at me. You were trying to send a message to me the other night, were you not? The way you two reacted was similar, but the way you seem to have handled yourself in the aftermath is different? Unless I hear about you lashing out at someone else just because I pressed where it hurt. But you both physically reacted."
Still... Her expression darkened.
"Still... What Leon did isn't right. At all. And it's not the ideal that he's trying to hold the group to. It's not the ideal we have, as a group, to go and rampage on some random people. And it's not something I'm going to sit quietly on."
Not that she ducked her head and turned away from such things. Her mouth tightened.
"It wasn't what Allen and I agreed to."
Even if it was more to do with Allen joining that she did, it was still a choice she had made for herself.

Saya would cock an eyebrow.
"It was entirely different."
She would sigh, deciding to give the girl something...anything, to see what perhaps being her friend would be like.
"I did provoke Leon verbally, as a test of his temper. He failed. I tested his ability to see beyond a fight. He failed. But he passed in the sense of his will- not just pride. Our fight was started by him, for words I gave. But I wasn't the one who struck first. And with you, I asked you to leave repeatedly, and you refused. You were in my home, Phoebe. My room was ten feet away, and your words...hurt. So I asked you to leave. I gave you a chance. If someone walked into your home and started insulting you or bringing up things that would scar you and you asked them to go, but they refused...what would you do? Would you just let them stay and say whatever they wish? In your home?"
That was the crux of the matter. It was why she said she wasn't angry- she was making a point. Saya would turn her eyes from the floor back to the girl.
"I am not asking you to think low of him or his gang. It could be that you could help do good for him. But my position...my life does not allow me the comforts they allow you. So...this conversation is as far into friendship as you will ever get. Do not tell anyone about our conversation, and if you choose to stay with them I will understand. But I will ask that you stay away from me, for good, if that is your choice."
She would push off the door and open it, glancing back.
"I'll...see myself out."
And so she would head down the stairs.

Phoebe's eyes widened. Saya lived there? But...but how was she to have known that? The brunette's head lowered and she stared at her comforter, not looking up for a while. Her eyes stung, her face burned; it was shame. And confusion and bewilderment and frustration and sadness.
However, her head jerked back up at the click of the door, and she would blurt: "Saya don't leave–! I have things to tell you. They're important."

Phoebe pulled back a little at the words, her eyes dimming as she looked down again. Admittedly, between the restricted conditions to have Saya's friendship and the brush-off she'd just received - not to mention the very real possibility of Leon rampaging over his hurt pride - she was feeling smothered and rather crushed.
Things that were important that she tell Saya...and she herself wasn't important enough until Saya could call her a friend?
It stung and hurt enough that she didn't try to stop Saya. It even took several long minutes for her to bring the phone out of her back pocket, and a little more of staring at the group chat before sticking a simple message in.
Meeting. Need to talk.
She picked herself up and made her way back downstairs, to finish pecking at her homework, albeit distractedly.
