"Because they like breaking the rules, and the pillar will try to stop them." Steven would say, it wasn't that everyone was scarred of the pillar just it worked better to avoid them. Steven however didn't hold that fear, nor did he mind being around Saya, and even Mark to some extent.

Steven would nod his head at both the guy word about the pillars and the question and would walk into the room taking up his own stance across from him. "Come at me." He would taunt with a smile.

As the guy tried to sweep Steven's legs out from under him, Steven, take a jumping step backward, out of range of the leg. Before jumping back in, his left leg coming up and trying to slam in a stomp of a kick into the thigh of the single leg that he was standing on.

As Steven saw the guy weave out of the way. Steven would slam his foot that had been trying to hit into the ground and pivot on it. Dodging out of the way of the uppercut and spinning around Steven would bring his left elbow around to the side of his head and jumping back away from him.

Steven would see his elbow go over Shouyo's head as he duck and weaved in order to get out of the way. Commenting on his skill. Steven wouldn't speak back, it wasn't what you should do in a fight, even a spar. Steven would come back in, and throw his left hand in a palm straight for his chest. It was however a distraction and Steven right leg would sweep across and try to take his legs out from under him as he spoke.

Steven would let him stand, not seeing any reason not to as this was a spar, taking a step back as he got into a defensive stance. Steven wanted to see what the guy had on the offensive. Not the defensive.

The guy wasn't subtle about what he was doing as he charged it was clear that he was going for a powerful attack. Steven would watch his centre line and see the telegraph of the punch it hinted at. Moving slightly to the side Steven would allow the punch to go pass his face, reach up and grab the arm and turning pull. A traditional shoulder throw over his body and down to the ground below.

Steven would be impressed by the sudden halt and redirection of the punch. He would turn his head and take the blow to the cheek, as he suddenly ducked as fast as he could. His foot stabbing out at the front of his leading ankle.
