First Day Blues [Neko]

Lunch time was something Lyric enjoyed. It was a time to hang out with friends and catch up on things. While he might not have that many friends at the school, he just hung out with whoever he felt like, and today it was a lone kid on a bench.

Lyric wore a pastel sundress today since it was so nice out. He had one of the cute floppy hats on with a large light pink ribbon tied on the side. Of course anyone who saw him would think he's a girl when they're actually wrong! Though his voice and figure would give nothing away.

Well walking up to Aldritch from behind, Lyric hugged him by the neck and held his phone out to do a signature move. "Selfy Time!" Smiling he took a selfy with the stranger and afterwards he looked at it. Hopefully he wouldn't be killed or anything, but this kid looked like he needed some cheering up.

Lyric laughs. "What do you think I'm doing? A selfy!" He walks around the bench and takes a seat next to Aldritch, while slightly ignoring personal space. "You looked lonely, so I thought you could be cheered up." 

Lyric looks at the picture on his phone and then looks at the sky. From his picture he learned this guy's name, but it was best not to tell him he knew anything or else he might scare him. He turned back to look at Aldritch. "So I'm Lyric, what's your name?" Lyric seemed nice enough and from the looks of it he was very weak and probably couldn't fight.

"Alright Al~" Lyric smiles sincerely. "It's nice to meet you." He then notices Al listening to something and realizes it's one of the many fights. He sighs. "Yeah, I guess fighting does happen a lot of the time, it's rather a commonplace now." He laughs slightly. "Luckily I've never been in a fight here, since I'd probably go down in one hit."

The next statement made Lyric curious. Of course he could always look up Al's past, but if the guy was willing to talk about it, score one for Lyric. He tilted his head. "I guess everyone has a story of why they are here, but why do you think it's fitting? A lot of people I know think they've been misplaced and want to get out."

Lyric listened to his story with a straight face. It honestly wasn't that bad compared to some people's backgrounds, but nonetheless it was understandable. He smiles and laughs lightly as if what he heard was rather funny. "Oh, a troublemaker eh? Then you'll fit right in with a lot of the people here"

He thinks for a moment as he needs to answer Al's question. "Well long story short, I got caught for hacking into the government's website. The restricted stuff of course. I guess I just have a bad habit of digging things up that I don't need to."

He claps his hands and smiles. "But enough about that. I'll answer any questions you want so you can get used to the school. It is a bit different than most, so it might help." Lyric seems rather normal for a place like this and it's a wonder why he is so chipper. It wasn't fake, he was genuinely trying to be nice and help Al~

Lyric thought about a girl who could breathe fire. Of course he's heard stories of all different abilities, but he wasn't sure someone who breathed fire fit. Though there must be someone in the school who can do that, for it's just the nature of the school.

"Well I'm not really sure, but for some reason people around here are getting powers. They call them Qi and I've heard that you get one after going through... you could call it a turning point in your life. And people get different Qi's probably based on their desires." He smiles. "So getting a Qi really comes naturally, I wouldn't try to rush it or anything."

He puts a finger to his lip as he think. "Oh yeah, I don't have one yet, but I think it will just come, you know?"

Lyric smiled. He really didn't mind answering all the questions and he liked making friends. He hoped the other wouldn't mind taking all the selfies with him...

"I mean, the government might care, but right now they can't do anything. I'm pretty sure they don't know how to approach this all because they don't want an uprising. Also after you think about it, many of the students do try to help people within the city, like trying to control the chaos." He laughs lightly. "But that just might be happening because of the school in the first place." 

He tilts his head. "Well whatever the government plans to do, I would suggest to prepare because there will probably be a riot." He smiles. "You wanna hang out together? I can show you around the place and stuff."

Lyric smiled. This guy seemed rather enjoyable to be around and he wondered if it would last. He waited for the other to get ready before heading in the school to show him around. He covered the cafeteria, gym, major hallways, auditorium, and nurse's office.

As they walk Lyric was thinking to himself. Was he really just helping this student, or did he want something in return. He couldn't decide as usually he looks after himself, but what if he knows he's safe, should he look after others? To Lyric, he just wanted to have fun and as long as he's safe, fun can happen. But nonetheless, for as smart as someone like him, he couldn't grasp what he was trying to achieve.

When they finish the tour he smiles. "So any other place you want to see? I guess we sorta covered a lot." Even with the chaos in his head he still looked calm and cheerful.
