McSushi (Musashi)

"Ahhhhhh," She said, "Qi." She said it rather bluntly. "Qi is the thing you are thinking about, Qi energy, the life force of your body as expressed externally through feats of the mind!" She wiggled her fingers. "Or Magic, as I like to call it from time to time. I mean, same difference. Witchcraft believes in energy and using that energy and directing it through rituals. Qi is directing your energy to perform things. So, same thing different name."

Sarah grinned, "Wanna see what I can do?" She wasn't sure how exactly to express it very clearly. She could do the speed trick but it was always so much more fun to charm people.

"Can't exist huh?"



Sarah looked at him, "Now logically if I said hey you should kiss me on the cheek, you'd experience a fair amount of resistance and some restraint. You'd be like, yeah she's attractive but why is she telling me to kiss her and will Macht kick my ass if I do."

She turned on her charm, her skin glowing softly, an alluring scent, and her voice silky, smooth in a very powerful way, "But I'm not going to tell you to kiss me on the cheek. I'm telling you to kiss me on. the. lips." She pointed to her lips and extended her face forward a little bit. It was innocent enough in her mind, just a peck on the lips. Plus she had to demonstrate it somehow.

Sarah's Qi impacts her ability to charm those around her, creating an alluring scent, a gentle glow, and softening her voice. While opponents may not be swooned, it can serve as a distraction.
People attempting to fight Sarah suffer -15 Wisdom while players who perform actions Sarah ask them to are granted +15 wisdom. Effects of charm are up to players discretion.]

Sarah would lightly tap him with her hand across the cheek, mimicking the motion of a slap but not putting much strength into it. Pulling her lips away last second. "You dog, you." She'd joke, laughing slightly. "Sorry I know it's messed up, but it's the easiest way to show you that I'm telling the truth. I can do a whole lot more than that though. Some of the shit I can do is, well to be quite frank, monstrous."

The qi had ended by this point and he'd have his wits about him. "So don't kid yourself that there isn't Qi or magic. Steven, if you know him. He opened my eyes to it one day, something so small, just water in a water bottle, using whatever force he had to alter it's polarity, make it float and move in he air."

She shrugged, "Whatever plans you have better take that into account."

"No," Sarah said with a laugh, "It's energy just like everythig else. Science like x-men but literally anyone is capable of it. It's using the life energy in our body, the biological energy, living energy. We can expend it from time to time. It's limited but I think that's based on our brains capacity to actually perform it and manipulate it, which seems to make me think that maybe just maybe smarter people or more mentally capable folks might have a better handling on it. Just a thought anywho."

Sarah stretched, "It's really not so crazy. Think of Jesus of Nazareth or popular magicians, think of the guy who can run in arctic conditions in his skivvys, people who can hold their breath underwater. People with impeccable aim, that feeling when you can just tell who is calling you before looking at your phone, when you hivemind with a friend and say the same thing even if it's out of context of the conversation."

She thought about her feelings toward witchcraft."Look, I'm a practicing witch, I don't identify as wicca or pagan I just straight up like the title witch. The idea is that there's energy, and focusing and harnessing that energy is possible, your intent with that energy does something even if it's on a small scale it does something. Something created this universe, some sort of energy created existence itself, some stream of conscious control. Not a God but some sort of ethereal friction triggered this, so who is to say that our minds a product of that event can't affect the very reality created by it? That's what this is. Harnessing energy, putting intent behind it, and exercising our minds potential to do so with purpose and results."

"Shortly after it was shown to me. I was able to charm people like I've shown you and I have a few other tricks up my sleeve. The one I'm most willing to talk about is that I can sober myself up, expunge toxins and drugs and other harmful substances from my system completely. A cleanse of sorts." She remembered when she had to do it the first time. "Shortly after my mom died I started drinking, a few months back or so. I was stone cold drunk in an alley and was being assaulted by two guys. I charmed them, specifically I charmed them to attack each other, hoping to get away. Only thing was, instead, I managed to sober myself up. I became clear headed and didn't have so much as a headache. So I was free to kick the collective asses of my would be attackers."

Sarah explained this revelation of abilities. "I still drink but the cool thing is I can sober myself up really quickly. It's like overdrive liver without the permanent damage. Helps me to drink people under the table or just to always be on alert with creeps. When the city was attacked it helped me purge the mist from my system."

"Pfft, duh." She said as she laughed a little. "What you think disabled people can't do things? What are you, ignorant?" She would hit him jokingly with her fist. "I kid, I kid. Fighting comes naturally dude I can do it super easy. Besides I was more into kicking anyway."

The truth was she was definitely still able to fight, that wasn't going to change. It just took training to make herself familiar with the difference in her balance and weight.

"Sword," She said pretty bluntly. "The attack on New York, you know with the mist and the Fear guys, I'm sure you heard a little about that at least if you weren't involved. In any case, the one I fought, Aegis. He was a bit of a monster. He lifted a water tanker over his head so... you get the picture. I went toe to toe with him for quite. a. while. Ended up having my sword taken from me in the fight, and he cut my arm off."

She laughed a little bit, "And then I proceeded to fight for about ten more minutes give or take with one arm! It was a little intense to say the least. I ended up passing out from blood loss." Sarah was... an extreme fighter. "At that point I figured I was dying anyway though. It was a miracle I even lived. Just... you know, wanted to take him with me. He ended up passing out from god knows what, and then after he went down, so did I. So in hindsight... I lasted longer than him with a cut off arm."
