Luna NarcissusCedric was skulking around around the courtyard yawning from utter and total boredom when an Idea struck him " you know what, I'ma pick some random newbie and train them" so he without even considering they may not really want to be trained, he had always been a whimsical bastard. So he just selected a random person from the crowd he could tell was new, walked over and grabbed their shoulder " Hey kid we're training" like it wasn't at all weird to have a random six three guy who wasn't wearing a shirt to do so.

Luna was skulking around around the courtyard yawning from utter and total boredom when an idea struck her. It wasn't her own idea that struck her, but the idea of the large shirtless gentleman who came up to her casually, grabbing her shoulder before saying "Hey kid we're training". She looked at him with blank eyes, unsure what to make of the sudden demand.
After a few seconds, she quickly decided. Eh, she was beginning to get used to the whole 'delinquents are the majority now' setting by now. What could possibly go wrong? "Fine."

Luna NarcissusCedric was slightly surprised by her willingness but just stifled another yawn and turned around motioning for Luna to follow him. His destination was the place where he himself had gotten a rather sound beating, the school roof. as he started walking he paused for a moment before walking again " So what's your name?" (OOC Feel free to skip to the roof on your post)

She hoped the roof wasn't as much of a deathtrap as she had heard the rumors say, but she'd be willing to take a strength test over a surprisingly quiet day any day. "Don't you normally give your own name first before asking someone else's name?" She said jokingly, although it probably didn't show that much. She was in a slightly edgier mood than usual recently after all of the recent losses- and at her old school she used to be king. She smiled before continuing. "Just kidding. I'm Luna. Any reason we're training?"

So how about I stand in the middle of the roof and you make an attempt attacking me, just so I know what I'm dealing with here" he said taking up a basic MMA stance

"Sounds good to me". The stance that Cedric had was a bit different to her own preference of a boxing stance, which made her legs seem a bit exposed in comparison. She made a guess that he wasn't going to make the first attack when she came close, so she decided on trying to quickly close the distance between them with a hop and follow up by trying to do a quick uppercut aimed at his abdomen (with the aim of trying to throw him off so she could combo into something else. Less power than a 'fully charged' uppercut). She rotated her left shoulder back to put more force on the right hand.

Luna NarcissusCedric saw Luna take up boxing stance and move in with an uppercut, though compared to what he was used to and his own capabilities it was painfully slow. So Cedric moved to simply grab her wrist with his right hand then sweep her right leg with his own and once she was on the ground he would quickly hop back out of her striking range

Luna was quite surprised at Cedric's speed- it might even be faster than Allen's, who she fought recently (although he didn't have gear on). She sighed under her breath before standing back up by using the momentum from pushing her hands away from her chest. From here, she prepared a new strategy.
She would try and do a very quick leap-ish movement to get close to Cedric before attempting a feint left jab at his chest in an attempt to conceal a right cross punch to his face, using her momentum to try and make up a small amount of speed difference.
(OOC sorry, had to go suddenly before for a while)

As he leapt away from the original attack Cedric found himself thinking "Hmm wonder how I'm supposed to train someone... maybe gauge their ability or some shit... meh I'll go with that" with that thought Cedric stopped and decided to just let Luna hit him.

Luna knew they both decided and accepted this random training on a whim, but what sort of training really was this? One more punch before she was giving up.
She jumped forwards quickly before attempting a right straight punch at his chest, using all her forward momentum to drive it forwards in the event he just jumped back again.

Luna NarcissusCedric took the full force of the punch to the chest letting out a small oof on contact but remained mostly still and unaffected from the blow. After a couple of second Cedric took a step back and said " So I guess I have a rough Idea of what you can do, so to make this a little more fair I'm going to take off my gear" he said removing his Jacket shoes gloves wrist band etc before taking up another fighting stance actually intending to so a little more hands on sparring. (OOC Sorry about not posting for like two days, kinda lost any and all ability for creative thought, also from this point forward I'll be using his base stats instead of his stats with gear)

He didn't even dodge the punch this time- not that it made a difference since he just stood there and took it. Cedric evened the playing field a bit before taking up his fighting stance again- it seemed he was finally ready to bring the real training on! The hint was enough to keep Luna interested, so as soon as he seemed prepared enough, she went in for another attempt at her left feint jab at his chest to right cross at his face bread and butter combo- hoping the repetition might actually throw him off a little.
(ooc: No worries (feel free to take your time. It's not a super important thread :3 ). Pretty sure we all get that feeling from time to time ^^)

Luna NarcissusCedric was a little surprised at Luna repetitiveness so he couldn't accurately dodge but he did manage to put up a block. Upon Luna's fist connecting with his block he pushed both his arms downward while extending his arms to throw her fist to the side. Cedric would then slide his rigt foot between her legs drawing his body closer to her. During this Cedric would bring his right elbow towards the center of Luna's chest in an attempt at an elbow strike.

Luna couldn't remember the last time someone had attempted a simple elbow strike on her that it surprisingly took her off guard for a moment. The best she could do was to try and jump back, although the elbow still hit her chest (only slightly nullifying the damage).
From here, she would try and do something Allen had done against her before and attempt a quick sidestep to her left while sending a right cross punch towards Cedric's right cheek- making sure she paid attention to how he was going to respond.

Luna NarcissusCedric was fairly impressed by her quick thinking and reaction to the elbow strike, And when she dodged to the side and aimed a blow to his head he decided rather than dodging or blocking he was gonna grit his teeth and take it... in a sense. Preparing himself for the headache and preparing to grab her arm to put it into a lock Cedric full on headbutted Luna's punch and reached up with his right arm to grab her wrist and twist her arm locking up her joints.
