Lance gasped. Gurgh! Where was he? Why could he not move his arms? He tried to squirm, but the cloth that restrained him only barely gave him a quarter of an inch of movement. He took a deep breath. What if he tried to kick out with his legs?
Clang!
Lance was a little stunned by the sound. Why did it say clang when he kicked behind him? He tried once more and the loud clang tremored once more through the locker. Lance tried to look over his shoulder. The shimmer of light clad some unwanted clarity on his current suffocation.
Oh gods no.
Lance had two options, to stay there and suffocate in what appeared to be old socks and training shorts. Or to kick once more and hope he was freed from this torture. He kicked with his considerable lack of might. Somehow the locker sprung open and out he tumbled. Covered in socks and clothes that did not belong to him, yet that smelled of sweat. He was much too dazed to start realizing where he was.

Paige would have been the one to open the locker when she heard the kicking from inside. "Eh you alright man?"Paige would ask with a slight smile as she waited for the rather sad looking boy to answer. If he answered or not she would put her hand out to help him up if he wanted with a kind lax smile.

Something moved directly at him. Lance winced and tried to hide in the pile of clothes. Blue eyes peeked out, trying to gauge whether he might have a chance to flee or not. What he saw surprised him. A redness rose into his cheeks when he saw her with the hand reached out. Lance's hand rose slowly. Trying feebly to take hers and accept the aid. She looked so relaxed. So unusual for the school.
She must be dangerous?

Paige would pull him up with a smile as she looked him over a little bit. "Eh who put you in there man? If ya want I could go talk to em if you need me to."Paige would give a lax grin as she moved her hands behind her head after helping him up all the way.

Lance gripped her hand. Surprised by her strength as she just raised him from the pile with little resistance. As he tried to secure himself he noticed she was not just taller than he. She was a lot taller than him. More than half a foot? He just stared at the woman. Dark hair. Beautiful features. He was mesmerized for a moment as she put her hand behind her head. She must be a teacher. No one else would be this tall and strong, right? He knew that saying who had done something, only made things worse. He knew how to talk to teachers. Luckily she was not a student like he~ Or else he'd be a blushing mess.
"Thank you ma'am ~ I, uhm... no one did this. Sorry ma'am, I got lost." An obvious lie? Of course. Better than the truth? Most likely.

Paige would chuckle under her breath a little "Why are you calling Ma'am?dude I'm not a teacher or anything so just call me by my name.'Paige would chuckle a bit more. "Eh if you don't want to tell me then that's fine my name is Paige by the way."

Lance cheeks turned even redder when the woman berated him for calling her ma'am. The chuckle made him a little at ease though. She seemed friendly enough and she had saved him from the locker.
"Hi Paige, I'm Lance." He said softly. He pushed his glasses up a little further on his nose and offered her his right hand. "And sorry, I thought~ You're so tall, I thought you were a teacher. I wouldn't mind if they left me alone." Not that Lance wasn't grateful for her help, he just doubted her ability to make them leave him alone.

Paige would chuckle a little bit and pat him on the head. "Dude no need to turn so red."Paige would laugh a bit more it was quite funny that this kid was blushing like this it was super silly of him. After a few moments of chuckling Paige would shove her hands into her pockets as normal and being to watch the boy for his reaction.

Lance's cheeks only turned even redder when she mentioned his red cheeks, his gaze went to the ground. Unable to face hers. It was a vicious circle. Her laughter didn't help him. He was too used to being laughed at to find any humor in her laughing at him.
"Sorry. I, uhh, don't mean to." He could see she had pocketed her hands. It was now or never, he supposed. He took a deep breath before looking up at her. "Howdoyou, uhh, mak'itthrough this hellhole?" The sentence turned into what sounded like three words. "Everyoneseemstowanttofight." He continued. Staring at the girl. Hoping for some magic path. He tried to steer clear of bullies, yet he had ended up in the locker.

Paige would sigh a little as she moved her hands to behind her head and began to think for a few moments on how she got strong. "Eh....Well I trained a lot and fought a lot of different people man.."Paige would grin a little as she chuckled some. "Hey man we should spar sometime man I could train you a little bit you know."Paige would say with a small grin she loved sparing people and training them as much as possible if she could after all it was the right thing better she trained them and went easy then someone else kick there ass into next week.

[ Paige Weaver - OOC Sorry for the delay] Lance observed the girl as she put her hands behind her head. Waiting eagerly for a response to his question. She was strong, true, but how did she survive in these halls? The reason seemed a little odd to him, it wasn't avoiding combat, it was fighting and becoming strong enough to defend themselves. Lance didn't think it was for him. A lot fighting sounded dangerous. Very dangerous. Her offer of training him sounded equally dangerous. He had already glimpsed her strength when she had pulled him up. A spar sounded much worse than that. But spending his days avoiding bullies for the next three years. Having a girl teach him how to defend himself might get them to get lost. "I... I think, uhh, that would be good for me." Lance took a deep breath to reassure himself. Paige seemed like a good person. She probably wouldn't injure him during the spar. "When do you have time?"

Paige would shrug a little bit at lance as she took a small breath and smiled "Eh we could go up to the roof and spar now if ya like man or we could wait tell tomorrow if ya want. Paige would grin a tad bit more as she spoke and looked over the kid he looked like the defense type in battle to her.

Lance had hoped for a spar now and also feared it. He had just mustered his courage, so if it had been postponed he would probably chickened out at a later date. but now, he felt pumped enough to go right away.
"Yes... now, if youv go the time." Lance spoke as he stretched out and spread his arms. Felt good to be free of the locker. He dared a light smile to Paige. The roof, however, was a different story. Why spar on the roof? Couldn't they find a place with a padded mat. Or a mattress? Just something soft, really, he wasn't picky about it. But he wouldn't raise his concern, out of fear that she'd refuse to train him.

Paige would grin ear to ear as she moved her arms behind her head and started to walk slowly towards where the stairwell was. "Eh can you tell me how ya fight while we walk?"Paige would ask in a lax tone. She wanted to know his style so she could help him fight better with it if she knew any of it or help him learn some new style.

Lance was surprised by her huge grin. That was normally reserved for right before someone put in the most devastating insult, but he saw and felt no malice in that smile. Simply an honest smile. It was refreshing. Something he had not expected from #552. He followed after her, she seemed to have a thing with putting her hands behind her head.
"I... uhm, I don't fight." Lance responded in the same soft voice. He was utterly hopeless. He had found someone to spar with and he had nothing to give her in return. He felt like a waste of her time. "I have never really been in a fight before. If you can teach me any self defense, I will be forever grateful." He said with a bright smile.
