[OoC: Lock your stats in your first post. The stats you begin the tournament with are the stats you will end the tournament with. No items of any kind, and no Qi allowed. Participants must post within 24 hours of each other. Failure to do so leads to disqualification. If there is no clear winner within five days of the fight being posted, it will be decided by Staff through a grading rubric. This is a no holds barred fight, so if you feel the need to break some limbs, you go ahead and break some limbs. Post your entrance in the first round, and go ahead and start fighting as soon as you like. Let's get crackin'.] Lexington and "Knuckles" would be led to the exit of the waiting room at the request that they wear no shoes, and all three would be taken down separate paths by women in white coats. The paths were dark hallways, lit only by flickering LED bulbs hanging from the ceiling, that stretched on for what seemed like forever. It would become evident that they were nearing the end of the pathway, however, as the roar of the crowd grew louder and louder with each passing moment, with every step they took. Finally, the three would come to doorways that, once opened, would reveal an arena which would prove to be quite troublesome. The two would be led to a large square room, 20 feet long, wide, and tall. There were five-foot square tiles on the ground, and heavy rain poured from the ceiling, into drains hidden in the nooks and crannies of the walls. After the three entered and their announcements were made, all of the lights would shut off in the room, aside from one. Each round, one square tile on the floor would light up, providing the only illumination in the entire room as the combatants were to do battle with the rain falling upon them. It would start with the northeast corner, then the southeast, southwest, northwest, and repeat. Only one light would be active at any given time. "Aaaaaaaaaand from doooor number one! Last tournament's CHAMPION, this man is undefeated as far as Bareknuckle Beatdown is concerned, CAN I GET A FUCKING WELCOME FOR LEXINGTOOOON STEEEEEEELE!" Lexington would meet a deafening applause as he stepped out into the arena. His last fights left a positive impression on the viewers, so much so that him simply stepping out into view of the cameras was bumping up their ratings to almost double. "But wait! From doooor number twoooo! Someone who is, as I hear on the street, equally badass, this man has his hands in everything the NYC underground has to offer, AUUUSTIIIIN HUNTSMAAAAAN!" Just like Lex, Austin's applause was deafening. He'd never been to the Bareknuckle Beatdown before, no, but having the ties he did got his name around the city. People knew him, people knew what he was capable of, and this was shaping up to what might possibly be the most anticipated fight in Bareknuckle Beatdown history. "Alright you bastards, this ain't over until one of you just can't get back up! IT'S TIIIIIME FOR THE BAAAAAREKNUCKLE BEATDOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!"

What a welcome..
Knuckles had made it to the arena, having followed the girl in the white coat. Those hazel eyes closed briefly as he stepped out from the pathway and into the arena. The feeling of the rain rushing down was actually kind of nice. Knuckles had always enjoyed the rain. But he wasn't here to chill and relax. Instead, he was preparing himself mentally.
He would move toward the center of the arena, his feet pattering against the slick floor in which they would be fighting on. Lexington, was apparently the champion the first time around, which meant he had grown from the early days in which Austin had known him. He was looking forward to this. He would settle himself near the center of the arena, rolling his shoulders as he waited for this fight to begin.

No shirt. Barefoot. Fingers taped and mouthpiece on his left ear, wearing only his yellow compression shorts with a cup. The left side of the shorts read 'Gold's' the right side read 'Gym'. Lexington followed the woman as she led him down a path to the ring. "Whats with the coat lady? I thought ring girls wore bikinis, yanno provacative clothing" Whatever answered she offered he would just chuckle as he entered the ring. Once he step foot into the ring the crowd went wild. Lexington closed his eyes.. Inhale nice and easy through the mouth and exhale slowly out through his mouth. "Reminds me of primetime.." Lexington easily blocked out the crowd as memories of packed stadiums roared whenever he was at a football or soccer game.
The tall teen looked around the arena. "It's dim.. There's plently of room to ambulate.. but I shouldn't need to.. I think I want to keep this fight close.." Lexington mumbled to himself as he took in his environment. Lexington removed his mouthpiece with his left hand and held it for a moment. Finally, he turned to Austin "It's been a long time coming. This could go one of two ways. So let's find out, I'm ready when you are." Lexington popped his mouthpiece in and got into his Southpaw stance as he rose both hands in front of his face.

"It has been a while, hasn't it? Let's give 'em a show."
Knuckles was as ready as he could be. His blood was beginning to pump and his excitement was building. As soonas Lexington was ready to go, Knuckles lifted his hands into his own loose boxing stance.
He would begin to push forward toward him, approaching at a decent pace, but not as fast as he could. Judging by his opponents stance, Austin guessed he had a similar fighting background. But he wasn't so naive to believe his opponent was so one-sided.
He approached in his orthadox boxing style, deciding to strat with a simple feint. His right side shifted slightly as if he would throw a right straight, but instead shifted so that he sent a quicker left jab instead.
Those hazel hues watched carefully as he made the first move. It was better to keep it simple here and test the current before diving in head first.

Lexington watched as Austin approached, once again this was another fight where Lex was at an advantage and disadvantage due to his height and skin tone. Lexington opened his fists so his palms were now facing down. Being as close as they were, Lexington could easily see Austin, but he didn't know if Austin could see him as clearly. When the feint came in, Lexingtom stood there planning to get hit, however Austin switched up and shot out a quick left jab. Hands already by chest level, Lexington timed his next movement. Just before the peak of Austin's jab or right as he is coming close to contact. Lexington shoots out his large right hand to grab Austin's left wrist and hang on tight. Immediately Lexington extends his right arm upward and jerks Austin toward him attempting to throw Austin off balance and follow up with a series of left handed strikes. A powerful knuckle strike to Austin's left bicep, followed by a hammer fist to his elbow . Lastly, Lexington would simply push Austin's hand away and take two steps backward before getting down on his left knee. "Goddamn your lighter than I thought"

It was true the lightning wouldn't be Austin's friend in this fight, but ty at didn't mean that he couldn't possibly judge where Lex would be standing. He would feel Lex's hand grasp the jab and yank. Knuckles would smirk as he reacted.
Lexington pulled him in, but that was perfectly fine with Austin, as he planned to keep moving forward anyways. So as the pillar pulled, Austin stepped in with it, forcing his upperbody close as he swung his head in to try and slam it into Lex's face as he went to punch. His opponent's strike would likely land on his right arm/ shoulder area due to the inward step.
If he managed to land it, Knuckles would flex his left arm and either pull his wrist free or pulled Lex inward, as his head pulled away and his right knee would lift as he tried to drill it into Lexington's abdomen and force him back and away.

Lexington misjudged and didn't plan on Austin actually moving in towards him, most people stepped away from Lex. Anyways, Lexington commit to his knuckle strike, slamming his knuckles into Austin's left bicep, the motion of bringing his left hand and forearm across his chest to punch Austin's left bicep allowed Lexington's forearm to act as a small block between the two. Given Lexington's size his forearm could actually prevent Austin from bringing his chest too close to Lexington's chest, therefore preventing Austin from getting off a headbutt. After Lexington's strike connected with Austin's bicep. He would pivot his forearm upward like he was coming to a 90 degree angle and karate chop Austin quickly in the left side of the neck, then from the karate chop, pivot his forearm back down to its original position and hammerfist Austin's left bicep, hitting it for a second time. If Austin still commit to kneeing Lexington in the abdomen, The giant would concede and take the knee to the abdomen also releasing Austin and he would take two careful steps back. Lexington would rub his stomach "Damn I felt that one.." He mumbled to himself

The clash and exchange would leave a pain in Austin's neck and his arm a bit numb, but Knuckles would still land the knee strike and they separated. This fight would be close, for sure. Win or loose, Austin was going to have fun with it.
As soon as his right leg touched back down, Austin pressed forward again. He kicked off that right leg and sent himself toward Lex, throwing a right-sided Superman punch. With luck he would be caught off-guard.

As Lexington took one step back, Austin progressed once more towards Lexington "Oooh, I like this.." Lexington said as instinct briefly kicked in, no room to plan a solid movement, Lexington brought his left hand up and backhanded Austin's right hand to the outside hoping to throw off Austin's punch. If this worked, Lexington would raise his right hand up from his hip and quickly grab hold of Austin's neck. If successful, Lexington would grip hard and try to pinch Austin's carotid's. Lexington would follow the neck grab by quickly twisting his large torso to his right and he would use his right leg as an obstacle to trip Austin if he managed to get a footing, if not it was used to help toss Austin to the ground.. This act swings Austin who should be off balance, forward and to his left, this would also allow Lexington to place Austin on the water on his back. With Austin on his back and Lexington on top of him with Austin's neck in his grip, Lexington would squeeze even tighter on Austin's carotid hoping to slow the flow of blood to his head, it may take a while, but Lex has time to spare. With his free left hand, Lexington would flash some water on Austin's face and then proceed to slap Austin's cheeks numerous times. I would say with in thirty seconds, Lexington gets off about ten open palm and ten hard backhands to Austin's cheeks, swelling his cheeks. Of course Lexington wouldn't get up, he would just hold onto Austin's neck until he passed out or tapped out. "You fought the good fight my friend.."

Austin's superman punch might have been deflected by the back hand, but he would be able to catch Lexington's left arm movement and react as his feet touched back down, bending his knee's and dropping his stance low, underneath Lex's grab attempt.
Without hesitation, Knuckles would throw his whole body forward, hard and low as he aimed to slam his left shoulder and allow his body to follow through as he looked to make contact with Lex's legs, just above his knees. Knuckles chin tucked to prevent a guillotine and his arms looked to wrap around his opponent's lower half as he tackled, lifting upward and twisting violently toward the right as he would look to scoop him up and slam Lex down against the wet arena floor on his left shoulder/ side of his head.
Lex had managed to block or deflect much of his attacks thus far, but thes e two fighters were relatively close in their physical abilities. He wouldn't be able to counter or dodge everything. This time Knuckles was confident he could get him.
If it went as planned, Austin would have immediantly straighten up a bit, throwing a hard over hand left for Lex's head while he was down, looking to bounce it off the floor in the process.

After his back hand was successful, Lexington kept his left hand in proximity of the left iliac, umbilical area of his abdomen. Austin ducked when he made contact with the ground and as Lexington attempted to grab his neck, Austin ducked and went down, however he would immediately meet Lexington's right knee driving into his chin possibly breaking it, also following that knee is Lexington's free left hand moving down to swiftly grip the side of Austin's head as it rebounded from the knee. Lexington would jam his thumb into Austin's nose and grip the right side of Austin's head with force. Without a second thought, Lexington would jerk Austin's head backwards and latch his free right hand onto Austin's throat for another attempt, however instead of trying to lazily choke out Austin, Lexington tried to refine his grab. He used his middle finger and thumb and moved his fingers slightly upwards until he was on Austin's carotid pulse. Lexington would squeeze tightly directly on the pulses cutting off blood flow also gripping his left hand tighter so he could prevent Austin from getting full air flow through his nostrils.

When Lexington tried to send his knee, he would find that Knuckle's shoulder was already only inches from him, thus very little power would gave made it into the attack. On top of that, Lex had given up his footing, which would only allow Austin's previous plan of attack an even greater chance of landing.
He would still look to hoist Lexington's up, twist and to slam him face first into the arena floor, with his hand on Lex's back. And there would be little time for him to recover either, as Austin would look to capitalize almost instantly by mounting him from behind, knees at both sides and squeezing, while thrusting his hips into his opponent to keep a solid back mount.
One hand still on Lex's upper-back applying doward pressure, his right hand would be free to reign down a flurry of right hands, looming to damage the back of Lexington's head, and his right temple area.

When Austin grabbed hold of Lexington's legs, Lexington's already close free left hand once again went in for Austin's head since he left it unguarded. Lexington grabbed Austin's head in the position he was trying for again. Lexington could withstand getting dropped on his back no problem, it was frequent in his sport. Lexington grabbed the right side of Austin's head with his left hand and jammed his thumb up his nostril again. When Austin tried to twist with Lexington, Lexington only used his body to line and possible embrace Austin's upper body keeping chest to chest, all while trying to slowly pull Austin's head closer to his. With his right hand, Lexington would begin to quickly tee off about five quick jab's to the left side of Austin's head and neck as he went down, using his grip on Austin's head to try and latch onto Austin. When Austin slammed Lexington down, Lexington pulled Austin's head in towards him while grabbing the right side of Austin's head with his left hand. A swift headbutt from Lexington and he would throw Austin off of him using his knees. Then quickly hustle back up to his feet.

(OOC: I think you misunterstood how he was attacking. It's all sequential and rapid. It's not like he picked him up paused there.)
Austin had not been straight when he moved in, he hack came in low with his shoulers to Lex's knee area. The pick-up would have been quick, and he wasn't slamming him onto his back. Austin had twisted toward the right and lifted, before shifting Lex's upper body down to Austin's right, to drive his left side shoulder/chest/face into the ground.
Due to Austin's head positioning, and that he had tucked his chin previously, Lex would have only gotten a handful of those luscious locks of hair before ultimately hitting the mat chest down, back up
His previous plan of attack would still be the one he took. Left hand and forearm looking to apply preasure to Lex's upper-back as he mounted him from behind, sitting on his buttocks to apply pressure toward Lex's lower half. Each leg squeezing at his sides to help secure the back mount and keep Lex flat.
Lex had no advantage in physical strength or endurance and Austin would have had the upper hand as long as everything went smoothly. Knuckle's would begin to drop short elbows horizontally against Lex's right temple, and he was going to do it until he beat him unconcious if he got the chance.

(OOC: I know its all in one fluid motion, but it shouldn't prevent Lex from moving his free hands down to Austin's head. The way I have it envisioned right now, Austin's head is near Lexington's thigh, Lex is still chest forward and can easily reach down and attack Austin's head as he is being picked up and thrown down even with his chin tucked. If Austin was lower then Lexington's kneecaps then I could see how it's difficult to reach. With two free hands, Lex can do a lot when Austin only has his arms wrapped around Lex's legs and leaves the side of his head free.)
Since Austin tucked his head, Lexington's left hand could only grab Austin's hair, Lexington used his left hand to keep a tight grip on Austin's hair, tangling a few fingers into his hair for better grip, almost like he were palming a basketball. Lexington used this hand to prevent Austin from trying to advance forward. In a way Lexington would be stiff-arming Austin. Once he hit the ground, Lexington would still have Austin's head in a stiff arm position, left arm barely across his chest. So instead of being completely chest down, back facing up, Lexington would be on his side, pushing Austin down or technically down away from his legs. With Austin's head still in his left hand's possession, Lexington would use his right hand to try and punch Austin atleast four times in his left temple hard, in an attempt to force him to let go of his legs.
