The man know as Silas stalked down the quiet streets of New York, a casual saunter of a step that gave those that did see and impression that the man truly didn't care where he was going. That impression was a fallacy, he did have a purpose this night, or more to truth his goal was to do something and see if he could use it in order to give himself a purpose. Having recently lost his title as The Dragon of Wind, Silas was in need of something. Something to fill that void, something to waste away the seconds, the minutes, and hopefully eventually the years.
While he walked as if he had nothing, his hands would be in use. One, not unsurprisingly for the green haired man, at his lips holding a mostly burned away cigarette as he breathed in deeply. The other, wrapped around the wooden handle of the black briefcase that was tied to his goal of the night. Finally Silas would have reached his destination, and he pushed through the doors with a step.
Silas was greeted by the sight of the lobby area, the entrance way of the large club owned by one Damien Caine. The club that fighters came to as a waiting point in their lives. 'Purgatory'.
"Hey you can't smoke in here." A man in a suit of a much lower cut and style of his own approached, an annoyed look at Silas, and a stance that said he would enforce his words if Silas did not obey. Silas would, but not as the bouncer expected, simply dropping the smoke to the ground and grinding it into the carpeted floor. "I was almost done anyway." Silas replied before sighing and moving towards the desk.
The bouncer looked as he was about to grab Silas from behind and through him out, two more men dressed in a similar fashion coming up from either side to lend assistance as Silas would ignore them and drop the case on the front desk, click it pen so the man behind the counter could see and say. "I was to make a one hundred thousand dollar bet to the owner, that I can beat his three best men in the ring alone."
At that the guy behind the desk would shake his head rapidly at the bouncers, knowing that throwing a man out making such an large offer without even allowing his boss to hear and possibly accept would likely get all of them fired. "I will have to call, Mr. Caine about your offer." The man told Silas, and picked up the up a phone quickly.
"I've got all night." Silas drawled out, a tone that was impossible to tell if it was sarcastic or not, it seemed like it could be either. Then Silas turned, leant against the desk without a care. Slamming the case shut, and leaving his hand resting atop it just in case anyone got ideas.

Mayhem standing in the announcers box of the club, looked down at the screens that showed him the fight currently taking place from below in around 20 different angles. A grin on his lips as he watch, a bare knuckle brawler being out done by someone with impressive grappling techniques. "Traditional Lucha libre and judo, an combination I'm not so keen on but its seems to be doing the trick." Mayhem mused aloud, and got a confused "Sir?" from one of the men sitting in the announcer box at a console. "Are you going to keep commentating sir?" The man looked up and asked in more detail. He hated questioning his boss, but knew that Damien would be more pissed if the watches got annoyed by the lack of commentator.
"No no...this looks like it pretty much done." Mayhem replied, moving a hand to his chin to scratch it in thought as he started to think how to introduce the bout after this one was over. "Sir!" Another of his employee cut into his thoughts annoyingly, but held a phone out towards him. "Call from the front desk sir." The man added, causing Mayhem to sigh in frustration. "This better be good?" He greeted.
"Evening sir. I have a guy down here wanting to put down a one hundred K bet that he can take on your three best fighters sir." The front man explained, looking up at Silas just waiting there. "Well man does he look like he could back it up?" Mayhem asked quickly. "Sir?" The guy asked confused. "Damn it, does he look like he can fight, I would lose more in money then that bet if he steps up and just get flattened, so answer me."
"Well he didn't give shit about the bouncers sir, but he looks more dressed like he is going courting some shit to be honest." The man replied. "Give me more ass." Mayhem snapped back growing more pissed. "Well the case has a name on it sir? Silas Dumas?" The man answered. Mayhem grinned. Now Mayhem knowledge of the men know as the dragons, wasn't the biggest he knew, but he did recognise the name from rumour and different connections he underground dealing had.
"Get that man to the ring right now." Mayhem snapped and threw the phone to the man who had passing out new orders. "Announce that the next fight on the cards is cancelled. Normal cancellation detail." he said snapping his fingers and heading over to grab the announcers microphone, but not using it just yet. "Get Bones, April and Dealer up early." He barked out another routine order as the cancellation announcement order was made. As the first part of the announcement was made Mayhem would then cut in.
"SETTLE DOWN BOYS AND GIRLS. WE HAVE SOMETHING GREAT FOR YOU."
"Silas Dumas, The Wind Dragon, verses three of my best for a cool 100 Thousand. Trust me this will be one hell of a show."
While Mayhem announcement was not completely accurate, due to Silas having only recently lost the title as a member of the dragons. The knowledge had not filtered through to him, nor had it done so to many of the criminals who would have heard of the wind dragon, but those that did and had cash to throw away would be sending runners to make bets on the game about to begin.

"Mr. Caine said to get down to the ring." The front man told Silas, rather then beating around the bush. "I know I heard, you should really change the volume on your phones." Silas said having heard every word of the phone call between the man and Mayhem. Silas didn't even smile at his offer being taken, instead he slide the case at the man and pushed up from the desk and walked away, without even waiting to be shown were to go. It wasn't like Silas had never been in a fight club before, not one as big as this but they all had similar set up after a fashion. As such Silas easily figured out where he had to go. When another bouncer moved to block him going through a door into the back areas. A man who had jogged after Silas, waved the man out of the way. It wasn't that Silas had noticed the man following, he simply didn't care. "Your heading right to the ring, ain't you gonna want to change first?" The man asked, keeping pace with Silas, and just remaining beneath Silas' notice. "Come on be a pal. I'm Jack." Jack Knightly tried to offer a hand, and again ignored. "Fine then ass." Jack said annoyed and storming off, leaving Silas to fine the ring himself. It was only a couple of minutes, when Silas found the his ways through the back area hallways and out to the main entrance that lead up to the large cage covered rings. Obviously due to the short notice, there wasn't any preplanned music, however something would play anyway. Obviously Mayhem had picked something quickly based on what he had heard about him. Silas would approach the cage and leap up to it, not to the door that an worker had opened, but to what had been closer for him to reach. Grabbing the metal wire-like structure Silas would rip himself an entrance into the ring and then climb pass the ropes. Three people would be awaiting him in the ring. The first was a skeleton motif of a man man, known as Bones. Who fighting clothes gave an odd impression of armour they did not have, and mask was so realistic that to the crowd it truly would appear as a skull. The second and the only women of the three was dressed in leather and dressed to distract. April, was also the only one who did not care for stupid stage names, nor wasting time already in a pose ready to fight. The last Dealer, was just a boy in appearance. Red haired and green eye, he really didn't seem to have anything about him that actually matched the stage name he had. How such a young boy was a cage fighter surprised him. Until the bitter realisation of the fact he had been beaten by a girl around the same age recently crossed Silas' mind. OOC: Pics used for the fighters, ain't claimed FC wise in anyway, they are throw away for the purpose of this thread.

Mayhem blood was pumping as Silas came up to the ring and tore himself a way inside, rather then walk to the side a little to use the door into the cage. That would cost him some money in order to have the cage repaired, but if Silas lost then part of his payment for the bet would cover that. Mayhem did hope that the green haired man would keep any more destruction to his club to a minimum though. Then again, the money this fight could bring in was probably way more then the pittance of a bet Silas had made. Twisting the mic in his hand, Mayhem brought it up to his mouth once again in order to get things started.
"Well ladies and gents, bitches and bastards. Let get this show on the road. You three down there better do me proud you hear. Crush this guy, but not too quick I want this to be interesting ya hear me."
Mayhem would then laugh into the mic and throw it aside, and head over to a chair. Kicking his feet up on the console, he grabbed a bottle of vodka from a cabinet next to his normal chair, and cracked it open. Taking a large swig of the burning liquid, Mayhem watched the screens and then his little toys of entertaining chaos would charge.
Oddly the most timid of the three fighter would be the first to move, and not with any lack of speed. As Dealer would charge, judging perfectly when to move in order send a high right round house kick for Silas face.
April would follow, circling round as Dealer charged head on, coming in low as Dealer attacked high. An arm swinging out to try and grab Silas by the back of his ankle and pull forward as Dealer blow struck home, the combined effort hopefully enough to bring the ex-dragon to the ground.
Bones however would not charge as the two other fighters did. Instead the largest of the fighters in the ring, he purposely walked slowly forward towards Silas. Aiming to be close enough to react to what ever the man did, while not being in a direct striking range.

Silas would do something that another hatted person, Mayhem knew would probably never do. As Dealer charged towards him, he reached up to his hat, quickly but casually and took the thing from his head. Tossing it aside Silas reacted to the twin attack coming towards him from both high and low. Hopping off the ground slightly and backwards, Dealer's foot would pass only a centimetres or so in front of his face, as April's hand met air swiping under his feet.
In a burst of motion, Silas straightened his leg hard and fast. His foot landing down on April's wrist. As Silas reached up and grabbed the back of Dealer's ankle before he could finish his motion and get back into a stance to protect himself. Hopping forward this time, winds would then swell around Silas, pushing him up higher. One of his leg coming up in a sidewards knee, to the back of Dealer's head.
Being pushed to the side, Dealer footing would fail and Silas would land, where the boy had been. Spinning in a pirouette of motion and swinging Dealer off the ground with ease from his broken stance and throwing the man directly at Bones who was waiting.
"Amateurs." Silas muttered, annoyed at the turn of events. There was little thrill in this. Yes the fighter were fast and tough, but they lacked something. Something that could give them that edge they needed over him.
Trickery and ability. Something a certain girl had in spades it seemed. Something these fools could not imitate even with the experience they had. While Purgatory's ring was bare fist brawling, without rules for the most part. It did not replace the true feel of a fight on the streets. A fight were everything and anything was a weapon and no skill went wasted.
Silas stood almost not seeming to pay attention as Dealer flew at Bones, leaving April behind him and off to the side slightly.

Mayhem licked his lips, pleased, even though his fighter were seeming to be out matched so far. With another swig of his vodka, he grinned as the door to the announcers box opened. Jack rushed into the room slightly out of breath, it was not short trip from where he had been with Silas and here now. "How much have I missed?" Jack asked moving over to Mayhem's side already pretty much getting his breathing under control and looking at the screens. "Opening charge and counter-stroke." Mayhem returned handing the bottle of Vodka up to Jack.
Jack took the bottle and took a swig of it like his boss had and handed the bottle back. Still watching the screens Jack decided that while Mayhem liked to either watch his fight in peace or be commentating on them, he felt like talking about the fighter below wouldn't go down badly. "He's an ass you know." Jack told him, and caused Mayhem to actually look up from the screens briefly, to glance up at Jack. "How so?" He inquired interested. "Bastard straight ignored me." Jack responded to a bursting laugh from Mayhem whose eyes had dropped back to the screen to see the fight unfold.
Down below as Dealer flew at Bones, the large man was completely un-phased, still walking forward he made a heavy swing. A back handed blow with his arm connected with Dealer before he crashed into him, sending the boy flying in another direction. The impact hurt his arm, however the man could tough out more then this. He didn't even think about Dealer state from the exchange as he leaped at Silas.
Bones would come in, arms aimed to grab at Silas around the waist and then lift him off the ground and into a sort of suplex into the hard mat below. Meanwhile April would have gathered herself and after a small nursing of wrist, would throw a solid fist at the base of Silas back, right at his spine, with an intent to incapacitate quickly, Mayhem's orders or not.

As Bones smashed Dealer aside an continued coming in, Silas turned his head the minimum fraction of degrees needed to place the recovering April in his peripheral vision so that he could keep an eye on both fighters. It was slightly hard to see the attack April was throwing as Bones came from in front, however her stance told him where to expect she was aiming.
"Don't make me repeat myself." Silas said in reference to his previous words calling them amateurs, however the words would seem to come from behind April's head in order to distract her for what would follow.
Silas in a sudden burst of motion would step aside, turning as winds gathered around him. His hand which had not thrown Dealer, and had been simply hanging would start to raise lazily but fast. Silas would with two fingers under April's wrist push the fist upwards, redirecting the path of its motion so that as Bones came in his attempted grab that the blow would smash into the man's face. Hopefully in the nose area.
If this worked, Silas would slide his hand from under the arm, as his other moved to join in what followed. Grabbing at the back of both fighters heads. Bones by the laces on the back of his mask near the neck, and April by the hair. Silas then brought the pairs head towards each other with an almost like clapping motion and let go, taking a step back to see the result.
As Silas went to work, his mind would wander. Even though his body and mind was in the fight, it was capable of seemingly disconnecting and thinking on other things as he fought. The side train of fought, wasn't in the ring. No it was in another fight, a pair of them in fact. The girl, the difference her abilities in each of there meeting intrigued him as well as the insane increase in her ability. "Damn I don't even know her name." He muttered to himself.
Whispered Words. (Tier 1) [One post per 5 INT]: Silas can make his words travel on the winds. This allows him to throw his voice anywhere he can see, and that does not have something in the way of air reaching it. (1 of 10 used)
Wind Step (Tier 3) [Once per 15 INT/One post per 15 INT, see Tier 5]: Silas can create winds around him. This allow the user to double jump, or change his direction mid-air. While this effect is active, Silas can prevent himself from taking fall damage. (2 of 3 used with Roaring Wind.)
Roaring Wind (Tier 5) [Once per 25 INT]: Silas pulls on the strength and speed of the greatest hurricanes. +30 DEX, +20 STR, -15 WIS, -10 CON. While this effect is active, Wind Step cannot be used to double jump or change his direction, instead if it used it changes this power to give +40 DEX, +25 STR. (1 of 2 used with Wind Step.)

In Mayhem mind as he watched the display there was no point in registering the fight in any minute detail. The ex-dragon had determined a course of action in the ring, and destiny followed. In fact his mouth would drop at the display, but he would hide the fact with the bottle and a shocked administration of booze, before anyone even Jack could notice.
Mayhem was impressed, beyond impressed in fact. Mayhem was concerned. The speed and ferocity that the green hair showed, while remaining so cool and composed actually made him wonder if, himself was still the best fighter to have passed through these walls.
Oh there had been promise in some of the kids he had put in his ring once. The student of a certain school that had a place in his plans, due to hidden fact of the past he hated talking about. He pushed that from his mind for now, Jack and Rooke had done well recently with the first phase there. Had done well, even if Mayhem had lost a decent pawn in the death of Six, and the currently unknown fate of Hearts.
"Jack go get Mr. Dumas' wager along with our half and bring it up to my office." Mayhem ordered and pushed himself out of the chair, replacing the bottle of booze in its cabinet and moving over to grab the mic.
"Well done...Well done Silas, can I call you Silas. Well I guess I can you can't really object much from down there. Please please, someone bring my new friend up to my office so he can claim his reward. As for the rest of the night. I leave you in the tender hands of my staff. Let the Mayhem, continue."
With that announcement made, a man down on the ground also in Mayhem's employ would quickly make his way towards the door of the cage, before jogging over to the hole that Silas had made entering instead. "Please sir follow me." The man would call out to Silas in the ring, and if the man did. Would lead Silas out of the arena, and to an express elevator and to Mayhem's office as instructed.

Silas would look up over his shoulder at the announcers box above as Mayhem, congratulated him and gave instructions. With a bored sigh, as the guy at the ring side called for him, Silas would slowly walk over to his hat where it lay. Crouching down he picked the thing up, and dusted it off as if it was an old friend and he was sorry for it treatment.
Placing the hat atop his head, Silas would head over to meet the man by the ring side and climbed out in order to follow him for the trip up to the office. The ride in the elevator would pass in silence. The man with Silas, eyeing him with a slightly nervous expression from being in the lift with Silas after seeing the display earlier.
The doors to that metal box would open with a 'ping' and reveal a small out office lobby, with a cliché strip of carpet leading up to the double doors of the office. The carpet was obviously red, and Silas would not be shocked by it. He had noticed the huge red and black theme that the club had, and from what he had heard about the owner knew way. However Silas was strangely less in the know about Mayhem, then Mayhem was about him, and Silas did not like.
Silas would cross the carpet and stop at the doors. With a small laugh, and to make an impression he would light a cigarette and enter smoking, let see how Mayhem reacts to that.

Mayhem would have managed to get to the office ahead of Silas, as would of Jack who was standing in the corner. Sitting at his desk, two briefcases, one of them Silas. The other a case of his own, or owned by the club and therefore him. In that case would be a copy of Silas'. One hundred thousand in one hundred unmarked dollar bills.
As Silas entered, Mayhem would look up from the desk. A glass in hand, this time vodka and redbull rather then drinking the booze straight as he had been up in the announcers box.
"Evening Silas, oh wait you can object now. Mr. Dumas. Here it is, your prize. Pocket change for what your fight actually probably earned me. Just a shame you didn't let it last longer."
Mayhem took a sip of his drink to wet his lips as he continued to speak. Seemingly not giving a single fuck that Silas was in his office and smoking. It was nothing that Jack hadn't done before. Mayhem looked over at Jack briefly at the thought.
"However I have to ask. Why have you turned up out of nowhere to make such a bet? You can't need the money? I know I don't." Mayhem laughed, standing and taking the cases from the desk, one in each hand and walking to meet Silas halfway across the office.

Silas would be slightly annoyed at the complete lack of reaction to his smoking in attempt to rile Mayhem. Maybe even enough to say miffed in fact. However he would indeed cross the room to meet Mayhem halfway. Reaching out with both hands, in order to claim the cases from the club owner.
Why had he made this bet, Mayhem was exactly right. He didn't need the cash. He had earned enough over his years as the wind dragon. The fear and constant thugs that had been after him, made easy pickings. While his own connection circulated that cash into making more in strangely legitimate ways.
"Kill time, it was something to do to try and have some fun." Silas would reply, turning to look at a large screen and speaker that was still pumping out the event from down below into the office. "And I'll admit I'm slightly disappointed, I asked for your best." Silas waved at the screen. "He is better then what you put in the ring." Silas would comment on the next fight that was about to start. It hadn't even started, but from the way the screens showed a dark skinned bald man walking out with cool confidence and wearing sunglasses. He could tell that the man would be a more enjoyable fight.
Silas would not know who the man was, but they were dressed just like the bouncers of the building. It was odd that Mayhem would put him in the ring, just another little fact that implied the man was a avid fighter.

Post by Cereza Nova Grey on Oct 25, 2015 12:25:51 GMT -5
--- How long had it been since Cereza had graced Purgatory with her patronage? Actually that amount of time didn't matter. The real question was how long at she been gone in general? It had been far more than a week since she vanished like she did two years ago. She left so abruptly no one was able to ask questions. All she left was a message behind. Something was up but no one knew what - correction two people knew only for reasons others did not. In truth the brunette had been back in town for a bit but made a choice to hide away still. Why? Another good question. Maybe she was ready and yet maybe she was not. Maybe she wanted to watch her little band of misfits in her time of absence. Maybe she needed a little extra thinking and planning time. Whatever her reasoning's a particular devil was about to be the first to know of her presence.
--- For the night she decided to bring back someone that had no business showing her face again. Probably wiser she hadn't but in some twisted logic she was safe here. Safer here than donning the attire anywhere else. Her hair was dyed and styled again. Eye makeup once more heavy and out of her norm. She wore simple black jeans with knee high boots, the heels bringing her height from 5'11 to at least a little over 6' probably 6'1". A simple white tank top hugged her upper body. Thus, Cataleya was back for one night only with a little twist added to her wardrobe - that infamous white fedora of Cereza Grey. As the evening proceeded with Mayhem's interest on some new entry, 'Cataleya' slithered her way about like a thief in the night. She didn't ignore who this Silas was she just didn't seem to care all that much just yet. Well on some occasions she was. Seems like Jinx's skill set was coming into play. Once he was away from his announcer's box that's where the little minx slid her way in. She glanced around with a smirk before noting another fight was going to begin. Well what was a fighters start without an announcement or music right? Feeling mischievous and knowing he would hear her if not see her, she flicked on a particular song he may have recognized but it wouldn't be that to grab his attention. As it started to play her accent filled tone rang out over the speakers.
"Well well what do we have here?! Looks like you lucky cabroes are in for a treat. We got the rock hard tower coming into the ring. Who cares who his opponent is, si?! Vamos, give a loud cheer if not moan from the ladies for cue ball himself Rooke! Make it a good one. Look they're swooning already."
--- On the screen it would show 'Cataleya' would her hat tipped low and only a half cheshire like grin visible. Clearly it was fill that with teasing innuendo's and most apparently a mocking tease of Mayhem's announcing ways. She thought she did a good job though. With a laugh she would plop herself on the chair letting her back rest against the left arm rest and both her legs dangle over the right - simply waiting.

Mayhem would turn to look at the screen, as Silas was voicing his disappointment and as such having placed his attention on it would actually notice something off. This wasn't Rooke normal entrance song, and then the voice would speak over the tune and Mayhem's eyes would open wide a little. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Mayhem would say in a tone that sound both please and annoyed.
Turning back to face Silas, he would raise a hand and place it on the other man's shoulder. "I'm sorry, but I have to go deal with this little surprise." Mayhem would say,his mind wandering at why Cereza was back, where she had been and why on earth was she wearing that outfit here of all places.
Mayhem removing his hand would move to walk pass Silas, and turned his head in order to ask Jack to escort Silas out, as he did though he would suddenly be struck by an idea. "Actually Mr. Dumas, come come. You said you entered my little home for something to do, once I am done with this little turn of event. Well I might just have an offer that is extremely more interesting then this." Mayhem would offer, and then head for the door and the elevator regardless of Silas decided to follow him or not. Either way Jack would follow and he would take the lift back down to the announce box and storm in.
"Where the hell have you been, and what the fuck are you doing taking of my show without permission?" Mayhem would ask in a angry tone storming towards her. Grabbing the back of it, and spinning her to face him.

Silas would flick his eye down at Mayhem hand as he put it on his shoulder. Slightly annoyed that the man had touched him without permission. However as his hands were currently filled with the cases of cash, he determined that it would have been to awkward to try and brush the man's hand off. In fact Silas so did not care about this, that he didn't even wonder who the girl on the screen had been that Mayhem had reacted in such a manner. Obviously the girl was not meant to be there, and yet no one had thrown her out.
Silas had been ready to just let Mayhem leave and then leave himself, go home store the profits of the day and then search for a bar or something in order to kill more of the night. However Mayhem stopped and told him that he had an offer that would be more interesting then fighting in the ring. "Whatever....I haven't got anything better to do." Silas mused to himself with shrug and turned to follow Mayhem.
When they arrived below, Mayhem storming into the room leaving both Jack and Silas by the entrance. Silas would turn to face the other of Mayhem bodyguards. Not even making not that Jack had been the man he had ignored earlier. "So who is she? Your boss girl?" Silas asked, feigning interest and hoping that he was wrong. Domestic disputes could take up so much time and he just wanted to hear this offer and then leave.
Simply dropping one of the cases of to the floor, so Silas could bring up his cigarette to his mouth more easily. He took a final pull on it, before flicking the thing so it would travel through the air. Pass Mayhem and Cereza and land on the console she had been near. "Hey I do not have all night you know that right?" Silas lied, just to get this over with.

--- Not unlike a child she kick her legs lightly as they hung off the chair's arm rest. Patiently she waited with the hat still tipped low. Cereza started to hum along with the familiar tune shimming a little in the comfy seat. Shifting through her jean pocket she pulled out a green apple flavored Blow Pop. Unwrapping it with ease she popped the bad boy in her mouth enjoying the juicy flavor. Suddenly the song would change and her rhythm would change to bob along with the new beat. Having all the possible fun she could while disguised she began playing a little air guitar. Strumming along Cereza sang a little until those elevator doors would soon open up to allow a certain white haired man to storm into the room. For a moment her world would spin like a record as he twirled the chair around his voice chiming in like a needle scratching the music. Well he sounded annoyed. Did she care? No. Did she ever? Nope.
"Aye you're ruining my jamming session."
--- That perfect hispanic accent dripped from her lips with a grin barely hidden by her low tipped fedora. So playful it was. Almost didn't seem like her which was the point, however maybe if she let go more often it really was her. Removing her legs from the arm rest she got up, standing directly in his face. Cereza shifted her hat back a little so her cleverly, elaborately designed make up eyes or rather eye was seen. Hazel gems replaced the usual grey hues as she stared directly up to Mayhem answering one of his questions.
"..Vacation.."
--- Cereza gave a quick peck on the tip of his nose and laughed sliding away from him if he didn't stop her. She waved a hand without a care.
"..Lighten up.. Don't be jealous I was better than you...Ola Jackie looking good."
--- More than likely Jack didn't know who she was at least not just yet, but she made it a point that she knew him. However if Jack looked at that hat good, well two plus two makes four right? Cereza ended up leaning against the console next to Silas whom seemed to be in some sort of rush. Looking at the man he had good taste in clothing that was for sure. Of course Cereza was digging the hat.
"Nice hat, Silas right?... Sooo Damien baby, talking business? What we planning?"
--- Cute. She was really cute wasn't she?
