Steven was further out his way then normal. He didn't drive, so normally he was confined to the inner parts of the city where he lived. However one of the residence of the abode he was heading to, had told him to be more assertive. Showing up on the doorstep, or outside the gate as it were, was more assertive then calling any day. It had been pretty long trip by public transport and foot, and it may turn out to not be worth it in the slightest. However that didn't stop him.
Steven would approach the gate, of the property. An intercom just off to the right hand side of it. Steven would reach out in order to press the button on it. Looking out over towards the building. Steven finger would hit the button, and at the exact same time, the front door of the home would open. Steven would instinctively remove his finger from the intercom, and as such no one would here his voice.
Coming rushing out of the door was a small girl, how old exactly Steven couldn't tell over the distance. He had decent vision at range, but mostly for focusing on things such as text and minor details. Putting those details together in order guess and age, was to hard. Following the girl, a dog would rush out as well. Before the door started to swing closed only to pushed open once more.

[OOC: Amara ....... Artemis ]
--- Inside the mansion it was a bit chaotic. Controlled chaos however. Cereza's uncle was out and about doing whatever he was doing that fine early afternoon. That mainly left her and little princess Amara to their devices. Amara might not have been Cereza's daughter but it was easy to look at her and think she was. Amara certainly looked like Cereza more than she looked like her actual mother. Amara got the lucky by being blessed with Keagan's side of the gene pool. Well that's how Cereza felt as she couldn't stand Amara's so called mother. Cereza seemed to have this mother issue it seemed. Nevertheless Amara was her darling niece, her little princess. She was her world more than anyone would know. Amara was her heart and Cereza would probably go batshit crazy if anything happened to her. The soldiers of heaven nor the minions of hell would be able to stop her wrath should anything were to happen to the princess.
--- What was about to transpire not many got to see this. She wasn't ashamed of showing this overly playful side with her niece. She could careless who say it. Many a times she has walked down the street wearing a tiara and boa because Amara wanted to dress like a princess and didn't want to be alone in the process. Cereza had no shame in the game. There was a rupture of laughter from the home as well as a few squeals and some shouting before the front door opened and little 3 year old Amara ran out with Artemis in tow. The weather was actually very nice out and slightly warm so her attire was certainly alright. Before the door closed Cereza came darting out after her in laughter. Still the white fedora on her head and a simple white t shirt and jeans with sneakers. Cereza had a bandanna around the body of her face like an outlaw of come kind while Amara wore a sheriff hat, vest complete with a gold star badge and a toy dart gun in her hand.
"You can't get away that easy missy!"
"Oh yeah!?"
"Yeah. What ya gonna huh? I got you cornered."
"I the fastest gun in the west! Sheriff Quickdraw!"
"Prove it. On three. One..... twoooo.... three!"
--- They both drew their little nerf dart guns and Amara got her shot off striking Cereza.
"Ugh! You got me."
--- Playfully and dramatically Cereza pretended to slowly fall to her knees on the grass and then fall backwards. Amara celebrated trying to twirl her gun completely failing and dropping it but picked it up trying again. Cereza already knew cause she could hear the drops so she tried so hard not to smile or life. She was playing dead after all but nope she still smiled. Amara finally got one twirl out of four attempts before shouting to Artemis about she did it. Artems just jumped around barking in joy and nuzzling Amara who giggled so cutely. Cereza would open her eyes and sit up shaking her head with a smile. Artemis looked those the gate and started barking which made Cereza look over. Her head tilted for a moment trying to see who it was as she got up brushing herself off. Once it registered she really couldn't believe who she say. Who the hell did he remember where she lived, let alone how did he get there?
~Well color me interested. How the hell?~
--- Cereza began to stroll over to the gate where after she got there and spoke Artemis and Amara would soon follow. She removed
"Rosett. I'm slightly intrigued. You're gonna have to explain."
--- Cereza meant she wanted to know how he found her considering their last venture. She was sure with the driving and his lack of focus there was no way he was able to follow and remember.
"Hi mister! Who's this?"
"Go play with Artemis, princess I'll be right there."
"'kay. Bye mister!"
--- Amara would happily run back with Artemis as Cereza looked back at Rosett not opening the gate yet until he satisfied her curiosity. She was expecting him to ask somewhere after explaining if she was her daughter considering.

Steven would watch the playful display. He hadn't seen anyone play with nerf guns in years. It was even more amusing to see Lady Grey, he had managed to find out her surname on finding out the name of who owned the property, playing as well. However he knew nothing beyond that. He would watch her go down in a dramatic fashion, and once she had got up she started to come over. Steven would nervously reach up behind his head and scratch at her question.
"Phone GPS and curiosity."
Steven said, pulling the phone as if to nail the point home. Was it proper, not really however he had done it, so he saw no reason not to use that knowledge to his advantage. He didn't know the relation between Cereza and the girl however.
"Younger sister?"
He asked, thinking back to the night they had met. The little girl must have been one of the relations on the phone.

"Is that shame? Or you're being assertive?"
--- Cereza would stare at him from behind the gates with a smirk. So he GPS her placed when she brought him that night. For a girl so smart she slipped up on that one. Trickery. Sneaky. Now she would have to watch this one much closer than before. Even in a drunken state he thought about doing such a thing. She was silently slightly impressed. She decided to open the gate for him from a device she pulled from her pocket that was attached to her house keys. As they opened he asked his question and she just turned and pressed the button to close as he came in.
"No."
--- She didn't elaborate yet as she was more or less waiting for him to ask as she walked back to Amara running around in a circle with Artemis pretending to shoot something. Sounds of 'phew phew' could be heard coming from the tiny princess. Her giggles would grow as she ran up to Cereza and she scooped her up easily resting her on her hip.
"Ugh princess you're getting heavy."
"Cause I'm strong! And I'm a sheriff today!"
"Yeah you are."
--- Amara would pretend to flex her non muscles and Cereza would just laugh with her. Amara looked at Rosett with practically the same grey hues as Cereza they really did look alike.
"Hi again mister! I'm Amara! I mean Sheriff Quickdraw! Put it there partner."
--- She tip her sheriff hat and then stick her hand out for a handshake. Cereza would just look at Rosett and waited for him to accept once he did she'd put the girl back down on the ground and she would go back to making pew pew noises.
"She's hard to tire."

"Better then calling a number and risking it be fake."
Steven would step in through the gate. He hadn't even tried the number obviously, however there would have been a sense of fear, that it would be fake that prevent him. It was much harder to fake an address. Steven would then smile at the little girl. Moving down in to a couch, to put them at closer level. Steven would make the gesture of tipping a hat he didn't have back to her, gripping the forelock of his hair, before shaking the hand gently.
"Steven, Steven Rosett. You keep this place safe and law abiding with ease I bet Sheriff."
Steven replied playing along with the little girls game with a grin. Before pushing himself up to his feet. Looking over to Cereza he would mouth the word 'Cute' to her, so Amara couldn't see. Steven had never really been around kids younger then him much growing up.
"Even with your energy. I'm impressed."
Steven would joke, making not of the fact if Cereza hadn't been called away on there last meeting, he was sure the pair would have dance the night away completely.

--- He had a point but she hadn't given him a false number if he actually tried it her phone would ring right then and there. Amara would smile and giggle as Cereza had learned his full name now.
"You got mister Ro-Rose-Rosett!"
--- Cereza would look at Steven as he mouth the word 'cute' to her and nodded in agreement and yet found herself chuckling at his comment. Yes even with her energy Amara was still a handful. Cereza spent countless hours matching her energy which was probably why she herself had a pretty good stamina. You try keeping up with a three year old. He would be right in thinking had she not been called away on business they would've danced away so long as he could've kept up with her. She would turn towards him as he still hadn't asked who Amara was to her and Amara hadn't made the notion yet.
"So curiosity you said. What are you doing here Steven?"

Steven would smile at the little girl butchering his name trying to say it, while normally he would be annoyed, it was to be so at someone so cute. Little sheriff badge, gun and all. However at Cereza words he realised that he had given the girl his first name along with his surname. Steven normally used his surname as he didn't like it when people shortened his first name. Steven was good, Steve was not in his mind. Steven would straighten up, and blush once again scratching the back of his head.
"Well I was... was wondering, if you like to get some coffee...or something when your not to busy...we got cut short last time."
There would be a pause slightly longer then his stammering but not long before he started again.
"Or tea...I like tea more... but coffee traditional...tradition is nice. Shut up rose."
He would continue stumbling, his mention of tradition a nod to there previous meeting at new years, before he realised he was making a fool out of himself, to the point of even using the nickname some of the guys in his group used. He would look at the little girl once more, his blush making him avert his eyes from Cereza.
"If Quickdraw will let you get away that is."
He would say, smiling at Amara. Once again playing to the girls game with his words. He was still wondering what the relation was between the two, but didn't know how to bring it up. Especially after making a fool out of himself.
So much for his charm, all he had was awkward assertiveness.

--- Amara had more luck saying Steven's surname than she did actually saying Cereza's first. The uniqueness of Cereza's name was a bit difficult for the little tike so she just called her Auntie Ray. Cereza already had a feeling from New Year's Eve that Rosett was a surname, but then again people had been named strange things. She didn't really care after all she never even provided her own name. Which made her wonder what had he been calling her then? And was he really thinking about her that much that he just had to come to her home instead of trying to call? Interesting. Assertive indeed. Though it made her weary of him, then again she was weary about everyone. His sneakiness did impress her but still. She didn't care about him seeing her ways with her niece she had no shame in that whatsoever. Cereza was a pretty big goof ball around Amara just to entertain her as apparent from the display from before.
--- Cereza smiled as she watched him turn red again and stammered through his words. So he wanted a date. Came all that way just to ask her out well isn't that cute. During his long pause Amara had came up between them staring up at him so when he looked towards her she was closer than she was before and listening for that matter. Cereza mused to herself in thought about this whole scenario. It was too comical to her. Did he really want to attempt to walk this path with a girl like her? With the thoughts she had that night about finding ways to mess with him and his fear phobia? Not that he knew that she was secretly plotting but still. Who was Cereza to turn down something free at this point? Besides she could just play along why not. He wouldn't even look at Cereza at this point so Amara found herself speaking upon hearing her play name.
"What about Quickdraw? What I do?"
"Heh nothing princess. Sir Rosett here- "
"Sir?! Like a knight in the stories?!"
"Oh yeah. He's the Knight of Roses."
"Waa? Really?! A real knight!? Wow!"
--- Cereza laughed. Amara was gullible at times. Smart as all hell though, but still gullible. But it was that innocence that made it all worth it. Her hand would rest on the girls hat covered head as she was beaming with excitement. Cereza looked at Steven to respond.
"Not really a coffee or tea person."
--- Cereza had more than enough of her share of pretend tea to last her a lifetime. Besides she only drank tea when she wasn't feeling well as is. But she was just playing around to get with Steven aside from wanting to see him blush and fumble in his words more. Maybe he had a better shot at asking Amara who was totally gushing right now.

Steven couldn't help but grin at the exchange between Cereza and Amara. The little girls happy almost amazed tone at his so call knightdom. Sadly for Amara he was not the Sir of the family. Steven held down that though, the less though about him the better. Steven would look up from the little girl as Cereza basically shot down his offer. He wasn't sure how to react now. He stood there for a moment, blushed then turned his head away from the gaze of either the ladies.
"Well I guess it was stupid."
He would say to himself, realising now that he should have much more of a plan then just turning up at Cereza's doorstep with no idea of what to do exactly beyond that. He blushed once again, glad to still be facing away. He should have just called the phone number instead. Maybe he should leave. Steven would finally bring back his gaze to the pair and lower himself to Amara.
"Yeah knight of the white rose." Steven would said holding out his left arm so that his jacket pulled back and reveal the tattoo of a white rose on his inner forearm. Steven would then turn his head to look up at Cereza whipping his hair around slightly but not enough to catch Amara.
"Maybe....well a drink of other kinds again."
Steven would finally respond to her comment of not liking tea or coffee. She couldn't claim to not like that offer, because well she had already done so.

--- Though his knighthood might not have been true Amara didn't know that. And really she didn't need to know that it was false because the beaming light that shinned through her was too precious to crush. Yet even if you told her that it was false at this point she probably wouldn't care as he was already deemed such. Technically it wasn't really a shut down she was more or less informing him what she didn't particularly like. She didn't need to see his face to figure that he was probably blushing because she had went through this before with him. Amara blushed and giggled as he came down to her and then showed her his tattoo. Out of instinct she dropped her toy gun and grabbed his arm with her little hands staring at the tattoo and then shoving his hand up a bit for Cereza to see.
"Look look! Cool!"
"I see it."
--- Amara would bring his arm back down curiously still inspecting his tattoo. Occasionally touching it in a trace like manner. Artemis however was on Steven's opposite side it was almost as if the poor guy was boxed it. Funny thing was he was surrounded by girls. One young enough to be his daughter, one a dog and there was Cereza whom he came there for. The brunette shook her head smiling as he made another attempt.
"You're new at this aren't you?.. Ever thought about I don't know a place to eat?"

"VinoTapa, Midtown."
Steven would instinctively answer the question, it was true he was very knew to this. However Steven mind was so fast sometimes that even he couldn't even keep up with it. VinoTapa was a Spanish tapas place, that catered to both couple, and family. The reason Steven mind had jumped to it, was due to the fact when they had met, Cereza had showed herself, to like music in Spanish and could speak it to. Hopefully that would cross over in to appreciation of there food as well.
"And indeed I am. Actaully doing better then I though would."
Steven would say jokingly, as he would move to stand. However if Amara wouldn't let go he would let himself remain where he was. He didn't want to just pull his arm free of the little girl. However with his other hand, Steven would reach out to pet the dog either way.
"I'll call a cab, so you don't have to drive."
Steven would say taking a stab at assertive once more, and as to not reveal the fact he didn't drive by having to ask.

--- See now was that so hard? Seemed like he had a place in mind from the beginning but was having a terrible time reaching for it. The poor guy. It was cute indeed to most girls, to Cereza it was entertaining. It made her wanna poke and play with him even more. She stared down at him and Amara watching the curious three year old fiddle with his tattooed arm.
"Oh so you're a virgin? Guess we're popping your cherry."
--- Yes she sure did say that in front of her niece. Amara wasn't paying attention nor did she have a clue to what Cereza meant anyways. She was preoccupied with Steven's arm. No she didn't let him get up just yet and when he went to pet Artemis she sniffed his hand and stared briefly before allowing the pet. Before Cereza could respond to his assertiveness Amara finally noticed something she hadn't before which was Steven's hair.
"You have really long hair for a guy! Can I play with it?!"
--- Steven would probably note Cereza not really stopping Amara at this moment whom swiftly moved to Steven's side and started touching his hair. She didn't pull as her touches were gentle. In a moment or two she was about to start braiding. All the while her aunt watched folding her arms and smirking finally responding to his previous statement.
"I don't mind driving. But I think you're forgetting something or someone."
--- She would lazily point to the little girl that he still didn't know the relation to Cereza yet. Cereza was the babysitter today unless she called Harley to take over. Or he could take the little princess along, probably not ideal for a date but he would have to take it or leave it today.

Steven would roll his eyes at Cereza playful question. He wasn't, however that wasn't really something he had been the cause of, it had just happened.
"Haha no."
He would respond looking at Cereza, before quickly turning to Amara, understanding that his answer could be misunderstood as a no to the little girls question.
"Feel free."
Steven had his haired tied up most of the time, for his own comfort and avoiding having to much of his hair in his eyes, or whipping around in the wind. He had no issue with people playing, especially little girls who were cute as a button, and were polite enough to ask first.
It would be at that point, Amara would start playing with his hair, and Steven could swear that she was braiding it or plaiting it or something. Steven would once again, look at Cereza.
"Oh I'm not forgetting anything, some things are hard to ignore. Plus I don't feel like I'm going to be allowed to move at least until she is finished."
Steven would reply, at this point, he would have pick up on the fact that Cereza couldn't leave the girl alone for some reason. Maybe no one else was in, and he had chosen a bad day. Well either way, if he had to take Amara out with her as well, it wasn't to much of a loss. Because getting the family to like you was never a bad thing. Normally if was the father you tried to please. However she from Steven point of view, could only be one of two other forms of relations. A niece or a cousin.

--- Cereza folded her arms merely watching as Amara naturally took to Steven and meticulously attempted to braid his hair. Every time she messed up she restarted but she was being gentle at least. It was hard for anyone to not fall in love with Amara. She was adorable with a hint of sass when she wanted to be. Playful and full of life. A sweet innocence that Cereza couldn't dream to allow anyone to taint. That was saying a lot considering how Cereza truly was with other people. She attempted to corrupt and use, but she would never pass that thought through her mind towards her niece.
"Hm, so you're ok with bringing my daughter along?"
--- She was lying but there was no way of telling that she was. Her voice was solid as the look on her face. She wanted to gauge his reaction and see if he would even ask her a question like: 'this is your daughter?'. Something of that nature. It's not it was completely uncommon for a teenager to possibly have a child if well they do some things they probably shouldn't have. But it wasn't about that factor, it's just a matter of would he be a little taken back that she had one. She was just curious. Amara wasn't paying attention as she finally got the braid going just right.

Steven would be shocked by the words, but would hide it like a master. He had always been taught to be accepting of things. It wasn't like having a kid so young was something a person should be judged for. He didn't ask question drawing to the fact, just accepted it in his stride. No wonder she had to go out of her way to come home partway through the night on new years. If she had a kid it only made sense.
"If you can convince her to free my hair for the trip certainly."
Steven would say without really missing a beat. Once more he would try to stand, if Cereza was able to get the little girl to free his hair. He was more then willing to let her continue it the car, or at the restaurant to keep the little ball of energy happy. Maybe even more so know that Steven thought she was Cereza kid.
The question of the father didn't come up. Due to the fact she was kind of accepting. Which meant, at least in Steven's mind that she wasn't taken.
