A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Grimacing slightly, Alexei barely blinked when people begin their assault on the glass dome. Instead of addressing any of them, however, his gaze sharpened and fell onto Xaier and Ira, the two Apostle they had assign on this mission. Their paleness were worrisome; not due to them actually fainting, but the possibility of them changing their minds the last minute. No matter, he was confident that they could be handled.
Almost in grim satisfaction, Alexei would finally turn back to the crowd, gazing out calmly. Look at me, his eyes said, look and me and understand that you would despair, you would cry, and I would be there when I rip all of you into pieces, from ashes to ashes, from your skins to bones.
They might like what he'd prepared.
Looking to the presence, hidden by the huge frame of Knuckles, and by the bodies of Xaier and Ira, his gaze softened. However, his lips curled up cruelly, as his hands hovered over the gun on his side, idly suggesting that he was about to pull a trigger. The trigger would be strong, he would state in his mind, the trigger would be strong enough to murder, to maim, to kill. To hurt.
"Come out, Zoe Garcia." He stated flatly.
Come out, Tatiana.

It didn't look like negotiations were about to take place. There were lots of strong guys here, that much was clear, but they didn't seem particularly organized or cohesive. Shame. The guy under the dome would probably bite the dust before they got to him, Jack reckoned, only then all the Apostles would be screwed, forced to either stay within their barrier and starve, or come out and get torn apart by the raging gang leaders. Unless they had another plan... Either way, it was clear people weren't going to listen to a bit player like Jack right now. He hung back, a casual observer once more. This would be interesting to watch.
All the same, it was confusing. Being relatively new to the district, Jack didn't know the names, the faces, the connections. Now, it looked like a lot of the top names were being gathered- and this might be a perfect opportunity to do some info-gathering. Find out who the top dogs were, which ones he'd want to side with... and which ones he'd eventually move to take down.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | "Fuckin..." He was right, seconds after thinking about it, hell began to unleash. After seeing attacks after attacks by some of the most powerful people having no effect at the glass dome whatsoever, Aldritch began thinking of alternative ways to stop this. There has to be a way in, unless they built that dome around them from the start.
"We don't break in, we cant break in... Wait... Did he say... Zoe?"
Aldritch began racing towards the building, shooting his chain and grapple towards the glass dome once close enough, or rather, shooting it as far up on the building as he can. Once shooting it as far as he can and the grapple has attached, he'd keep the chain extended and started climbing the chain. If the chain and grapple had not reached the dome, he'd keep on climbing up on the building's wall.
Once reaching the top of the building, he'd then climb the dome and lay flat on his stomach on top of it, knocking at it casually.
"Hey... can you guys... I dunno... let me in?"

Post by Siobhan Arden on Feb 6, 2016 13:22:39 GMT -5
Siobhan woke from a restless sleep when her phone began vibrating like crazy, surges of messages and feeds lighting up the notifications she had turned on. Powering on the screen, her worn eyes tracked the letters, molding together one story from the pieces of convoluted evidence she was able to garner. The longer she read, the more her hands began to shake, a taste of bile rising in the back of her throat. Siobhan felt her stomach twist, a small moan echoing in the back of her mind. No more murder, it whispered, I can't murder anyone anymore. Suddenly it became no more of an issue pressing her failing mental health and a question of her very morality.
All good things in the girl's life tended to be ripped away from her. Siobhan knew this and from an early age learned that people were to be considered 'possessions'. She never tried very hard to form close connections and even some of the most volatile had been utterly ravaged with her own hands. There were bloodstains still a verdant red from actions committed long ago. Siobhan couldn't... she wouldn't be able to handle this situation. Despair settled within her bones, the phone slipping through her gaunt fingers and onto the motel's carpet floors. Curling on her side, Siobhan wrapped the paper thin blankets around her body and covered her head.
This wasn't her fault.
Of course it wasn't, and no one would blame her if she couldn't do anything. Chest quaking, the girl struggled to even breathe without gasping. Panic shook her body, forcing her to clench her eyes shut. No one could blame the girl for being scared. For running away in the face of death. She couldn't even think to look at the grim reaper banging down her door, demanding the debt of two lives be paid. Siobhan only had one.
Valo would look at her with those sad, understanding eyes when she finally drug herself from the shadows. Macht wouldn't look twice at her, he never did. Shugo might stare a beat too long when she refused to look him in the eyes. From one murderer to another, they both knew the price that came with extinguishing existences and it was taking a part of hell onto yourself.
"It's not my fault."
Hot tears began to leak from her eyes, dripping off her nose. What was she supposed to do? There was nothing, absolutely nothing she could do to help anyone. Her very existence was a liability to other because she had burdened them with the weight of her friendship. How could she show her face after knowing what they were forced to endure because of her? Because of her, Knuckles was facing death. His death would be on her hands.
"If it's family and loyalty you seek, I suppose you made a good choice. We always have each others backs. No matter how small or big the issue. And the same will be expected of you. If you so chose to take us as family though, make sure you understand the consequences.."
The motel door slammed shut, the bright sun tracking a shadow behind the sprinting girl. And even though a few thin tears were blown off her face, she propelled her legs to carry her down the sidewalk and to the main square where the execution was being held.

A grim look present on his face watching Macht, Shugo (at least, he believed it was Shugo, his voice was familiar sounding), and Valo launch their respective assaults on the glass dome, only to not even put a scratch on it, a flash of scarlet hair would catch his attention from the corner of his eye, as his head would whip to the side to look over, it was her.A sinking feeling starting to settle in his stomach, quickly turning, he would push through the crowd to catch up with her. If he managed to reach her, suddenly, Melanie would feel something grab onto her arm, and if she turned to look, she would see Kazuya standing behind her, his hand lightly holding onto her arm, his brows furrowed slightly.
"I'm not letting you face them alone. If we fight, we fight together. If we die... we die together. But I won't let anyone take you from me. Let's go Melanie."
If she had no objections, scooping her up into his arms, he would then take off towards the glass dome, moving as quickly as he could. As he ran, the sound notifying him he had a new message would go off, as he would reach into his pocket with one hand, the other arm still carrying Melanie, as he would open and read the message Valo had sent to all of Hyperion. With a soft 'hm', stowing his phone away, he would continue towards the glass dome, and upon reaching the building, would place Melanie down on the ground, before pulling free his now single katana from the sheath on his back. Standing beside his leader, he would give Lexington a bow of his head, seems the Second Pillar had brought his own rag-tag back-up army of hyped-up, hormonal teenagers. The most deadliest of all.
Standing slightly in front of Melanie, ready to use himself as a shield if anything happened to come their way, his eyes would widen and his face would turn pale as the blood began to drain from his face. Z... Zoe? Did he hear right? Did Alexei just say for Zoe Garcia to come out? But... how could that be...? Turning his head slightly to look over at Valo, his reaction would probably be nothing compared to his leader's. His grip tightening on the hilt of his katana, if in fact, Zoe was alive, did that mean...? No. He would worry about that later. Right now, getting through that glass dome was the most important matter at hand. If they couldn't smash through it, then he would try to melt it. Pointing his free hand at the glass dome, making sure no one was standing in front of him, he would fire a stream of flames at the glass dome, to try and heat up just a portion of it, enough that he could melt a hole through it so the others could get through.
(OOC: Qi ability used.
Retsuenda (Rending Flame Destruction): Kazuya is able to generate streams of flames from his hands, with the length of the fire stream 1 foot per 2 Int at the speed of his Int, dealing damage 1/4 his total Int stat. [attr="class","post_box"] [attr="class","tetbox"] [attr="class","intext"]Throughout the chaos of the heroes clashing feebly against the glass dome, a small figure was unseen. As they barked their heroic decrees, the girl sat quietly and patiently. Her body was still and unflinching as attacks bounced against the dome around them. She doubted even Austin knew she was behind him. Large violet eyes peeked up to the sky as smoke and sparks of lightning filled the air. They were really trying their hardest to save this guy, huh? She wondered why. Was there some kind of honor among terrorists that made them do that? She sighed and shook her head as her tongue clicked in disappointment. Whatever it was, she didn't have to worry about it. That was her brother's job. She was just to be his sword and shield.
When her brother addressed her, she popped up from behind Austin and gave a salute. Smiling she raised her pen up. The pen would glow momentarily before a thin line suddenly emerged from it. The glowing line was a thin as a thread, but it shined fiercely. The line was about the length of a sword. She lowered it to Austin's neck and looked to her brother with a curious gaze. ”Yes?” She already knew he wanted her to execute him, but how did he want it to be done? Did he want a mess? A clean hit? For her to crush the skull or slit the neck?
She leaned forward to peer over the shoulder of Austin to the crowd around the dome with a disapproving frown. |

I"M NOT LAUGHING, YOU'RE NOT JOKING
I"M NOT DEAD
I ONLY DRESS THAT WAY
Anxiety seemed to gnaw at her insides like an animal.
Her gaze followed the powerhouses as they attacked the dome, but it didn't even crack the thing. The whole situation seemed to be painting a sort of picture for the inhabitants of the district. A picture of the Apostles' power, and the inexorability of death. Was Knuckles really going to die today? After all the five-five-two students had been through, it almost felt like some of them were invincible. People like Shugo, Valo and Knuckles had pulled through so much, sometimes it seemed that they could last through everything.
But today, thing's were being put into perspective. This threat was very real, and any of them could die at any time.
Vivi's phone buzzed and she checked her messages. From Valo to Hyperion, apparently he was ready to accept this. Of course, Vivi didn't want to either but she was trying to think realistically. But sometimes 'thinking realistically' could keep you confined to what seems like the inevitable outcome... They had to at least try.
The girl broke into a run, weaving and shoving past people as she went on with increasing speed. Once she was at the base of the building, Vivi skidded to a stop before launching herself into the air. Her fingers clung to the nearest ledge, and she took a breath, feet bracing against the wall. Running wasn't the only thing she could do fast.
Quickly scaling the wall, Vivi eventually pushed off a sill near the end. She leaped through the air, landing in a crouch at the top of the building before straightening up. Vivi cast a preliminary glance at those also around the dome, but quickly fixed her gaze on the people inside.
A crease formed between her brows. Was that Zoe...? Nearly the entire student body had watched her die. She thought about slamming her fist into the glass with a burst from her infinite ring, but if Macht and Valo couldn't break the glass, she definitely couldn't.
The small red haired girl seemed to be holding a a thin tendril of light in front of Knuckle's neck. Vivi took in a shaky breath. Time was running out. It was like a line in the song her sister used to love singing.
Life's like an hour glass glued to the table.

Melanie's eyes stung with wet warmth. This wasn't the way. This just had to stop. She pushed herself faster, trying her hardest to get to the dome. There had to be something she could do... Melanie's foot caught on a rock and she stumbled but before she could fall forward, a hand grabbed her arm. Snapping her head back and preparing to fight, Melanie would see Kazuya. "Kazzie... What-" She'd start before he told her she wouldn't face the Apostles alone. Nodding once, Melanie jumped to him as he pulled her into his arms and ran. She knew he was much faster than he was. If she tried to run, she'd only slow him down. "I'll gladly die with you, but not today. We are going to finish this together." Melanie would hug him tightly as he ran. After they stopped, Melanie would kiss him lightly. "I will always love you." If she didn't get to say it to him again, she wanted to say it now. Looking around Melanie would note all the teenagers screaming and waving weapons. Some, obviously, more deadly that others. Looking back to Kazzie and the others, she'd smile cruely. Let's get these bastards. One last hoorah. Let's show em they can't fuck with us.
Melanie was confused. Wasn't Zoe the one that died before? Didn't she? She looked at Kazzie's pale face. It was a shock to all apparently. This couldn't be good. She looked up to the dome as a young woman stepped up behind Knuckles with a... string? No it was straight. Not good... Not good.Melanie stepped out from behind Kazuya. Two heads are better than one, right? She would bring her hands up as her clothes turned white, two fox ears appeared on her head, and a long white tail came out from her back. "Fox... Fire." Melanie would whisper as her tail would flick back and forth with her concentration. Flames would shoot from her hands in a straight line, combining with Kazzie's fire. Maybe he was trying to melt the glass. Perhaps if it was super hot someone could break it? Abilities used: Fox Demon Pendant: At the cost of 20 int per post, Melanie's clothes turn stark white along with her hair, giving her the form of a Fox Spirit. In this form she has +8 to all stats. -4 to all stats for every post this item was active. [1/5] Fox Fire Gloves: Fox Demon Pendant Must be Active Melanie may spend 20 Int to shoot "Fox Fire" in a stream in front of her doing her full INT in damage as well as 1/2 her FULL INT in damage to those within 5 feet of the target up to 3 additional targets. The TV was our screen to the world, our screen to better entertainment than Rochi performing another of his dumb plays, and our screen to watching other emotions other than Murai's deadpan face. Usually, we each had our share of the TV: Rochi with his Soap Opera, Murai with his Criminal Minds, and I just watching the New York News or more training DVD videos on how to perform more actions with a sword...or a keyblade. I guess ever since I made my own, I found out that it is perfection in my hands.
But today, the news was different. Instead of some random guy robbing a convenience store, I see the Apostles carrying out an execution in one of the District's tall buildings.
"Rochi, Murai, we're heading out!"
Rushing towards the building where the execution was going to take place, I pushed people out of the way with haste. Luca was there and it was time for me to beat his ass up. He had no right to just beat up students in front of everyone, especially me since I did nothing wrong, Shadow did.
From where I stood, I could already see Valo and Macht attempting to break into the glass dome, but with no results. As I reached the entrance to the building, a plan was beginning to form. Climbing up the millions of stairs towards the roof, I looked back for a second and saw that Rochi was also thinking of a plan. I can tell you that this jester isn't all about games...
We stopped about halfway to rest and think.
What would stop the Apostles in their tracks?

Rochi was thinking of a plan. From what he saw from different people out there, that glass dome seemed unbreakable from the outside, but what about the floor of the glass dome? It had to be the floor of the roof, so why couldn't people come inside and punch a hole underneath? Those strong people out there weren't making progress out there, so we needed them to get in here. Looking over at Alex, the jester nodded, signaling he had formed a plan. Walking towards one of the balconies, I prepared for my crowd. "YUY NAMED VALO!! GET IN HERE PLEASE WITH YOUR FRIENDS, WE HAVE A PLAN!!"Valo was one of the people attacking the dome, so he would be one of the valuable people to make this work.Rochi looked up and saw that they needed at least 5 more floors till his brothers reached the roof. If they did in here, they would stand a chance, if not, that guy would die.

They are trying.. So hard.. For me?
Knuckles would shake his head slightly. Macht, Valo, Levi, Kazuya, the others.. Why? He honestly couldn't wrap his head around it. Every moment more seemed to show up, their attempts at breaking the dome futile. To him, they were wasting valuable energy and time.
Alexai soon spoke though and that smile of his subsided slightly. So the dead girl wasn't really dead? Interesting. He might have been surprised, had his mind not been so heavy at this moment.
"Y'all kill me already? I'm seein' ghosts."
A snicker escaped his lips, unphased by "Zoe's" actions. He would direct him attention toward the glass dome, specifically where Macht stood with the others. Ignoring the rest, knowing his words would be picked up by the cameras, Austin began to speak.
"Macht, Please.. Get outta here. You don't need to see this, buddy.. Everyone just.. Needs to stop trying. I'm not worth it. I deserved this."
Austin would then cock his head toward Alexai, that hazel hue of his glaring toward the man who was orchestrating the execution. There was a clearly defined hatred spilling toward the man with his look alone. But the smile the accompanied his next set of words could be viewed as a little unnerving.
"I'm no fool. I know there is no way out of this.. I know that when I die, I'm going to burn in hell.. But.. Let me tell you this, mother fucker.. You'll be comin' down after when my friends get their hands on you.. And you can bet your ass I'll be waiting.. TO TEAR WHATEVER THE FUCK IS LEFT OF YOUR SOUL, TO RIBBONS!"
Calm words had rapidly changed into a rage-induced yell. Maybe it was simply due to the fact he felt a uselessness like never before. But by the end of his sentence, he would gather as much saliva as possible before spitting from his knelt position and aimed to let it hit Alexai's face. Hit or miss, he cared little. This mana would know that even til the end, Knuckles wouldn't let himself be broken down or reduced to a withering coward begging for his life.
"NOBODY GIVES UP ON STAMPING THESE BASTARDS OUT! IF I AIN'T GIVING UP NOW, NOT A DAMN ONE IF YOU BETTER! NOT UNTIL THESE FUCKERS ARE SIX-FEET-UNDER! NOT UNTIL THAT WALL NOTHING MORE THAN A PILE OF RUBBLE! THESE FASCIST AUTHORITARIAN FUCKS CAN'T CONTROL US! LISTEN TO ME! THEY! CANNOT! CONTROL! US!"
At this point, Austin was just ranting. Anything to keep the fear of death at bay. He didn't want to die. But he knew the choice was already made and that he could go out like a bitch or like a boss. He would certainly choose the latter.

Siobhan stumbled, and pushed, ran, sweat, panted, and dragged her panicked ass to the front of the crowds, feeling her legs finally give as she stared up at the top of the building. Collapsing onto her knees, her top half lolled in momentary exhaustion. It had been hell, all of these days she had spent trying to prepare herself. And yet it was all completely fruitless, pointless, if she would be forced to witness this execution. Staring heavenward, the girl felt her heart pound wildly, trying to reach out and grasp the man who was more than a leader to her.
"AUSTIN YOU ASSHOLE CAN YOU HEAR ME? I'M CASHING IN THAT RAIN CHECK RIGHT NOW. IF YOU'RE ANY MAN OF YOUR WORD AND HAVE ANY CONSIDERATION FOR US DOWN HERE, YOU'LL PICK UP YOUR SORRY ASS AND APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW FOR EVEN THINKING OF GIVING UP!"
Siobhan felt the tears begin to pool in her eyes, cursing him despite the situation he had managed to get wrapped up in. This scene... was all too familiar. A swap of a few faces, and it would be Siobhan's past all over again. She had vowed to protect anyone from that in the future, a vow that had brought her to murder. She would not watch a comrade fall here because of her powerlessness.
"I still have.. that running credit to pay back.. don't you dare go where I can't follow..."
Gasping through the individual tears dripping from her waterline and onto the dusty ground, she felt a surge of determination pass over her. Standing up, Siobhan rushed over to one face she recognized, and would unfortunately be using.
"Valo", she gasped, "I need you to take me up there, right now."
Staring at him with determined eyes, Siobhan knew that him doing this small favor for her would forever clear him of any current debt he might feel he would own. Surely it would be a struggle for him to lift her up and into the range of death, but nonetheless, Siobhan couldn't live knowing she had ran away, yet another day. Today was the day she stared death in the face and yanked back what it would once again try to steal.

Post by Adrian "Valo" Morei on Feb 7, 2016 23:27:58 GMT -5
Valo's eyes would glow a bright red, a light visibly shining off of them as he examined the dome thoroughly. He looked at it from every angle he could, attempting to find any sort of flaw, any sort of weakness, even a single crack or tear in the dome that could be used to their advantage, so they could get in. His heart was racing, and sweat dripped from his brow as he was in a mild panic. Time was running short, and even he wasn't sure how many plans he could run through and formulate before it was too late. All this training, all this power he had learned to harness and control, all to be stopped by fucking glass.
Think, Adrian, think...
If he only had ample time to analyze the dome and it's composition, he was sure he could find a foolproof way in. But in this moment, all he could think was to tap into even more force, unleash the full limits of his power and set his implant into overdrive. The backlash of it would surely kill him, destroying what remained of Valo and surrendering his vessel entirely to the Wraith. He would become a monster once more. It was something he was saving for when he and Luca were alone, but if he could save Knuckles in exchange for his own life...
"Come out, Zoe Garcia."
Valo's train of thought immediately derailed, and widened eyes would look up at the screens. He didn't really say Zoe, did he?
A red-haired woman walked out, and when Valo saw her face, his grip loosened on his sword. The blade fell to the ground, setting off sparks as it collided with the asphalt. Wordlessly, he took slow steps towards the dome, his hands came up and pressed against the dome, as if though some hope dwelled in his mind that it would suddenly open for him.
"Zoe..."
She was alive? This entire time? But how? People had told him what they had witnessed that day, and yet... she was fine. But why was she with the Apostles? How could she let everyone who cared think she was dead, and not tell a single one of them she was fine?
Upon the screen, he could see the blade she put to Huntsman's neck, and he felt his breath stop. Things felt wrong, she had Zoe's look, but her fire looked extinguished. She looked like an Apostle. She was about to kill a friend.
"ZOE!" He called out as loud as he could, fists banging on the dome frantically. "PLEASE STOP, THIS ISN'T YOU! WE'RE SUPPOSED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT AGAIN, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SAVING THE ONES WE LOVE, NOT KILLING THEM!"
What happened to the girl who was amused with sitting in the dark and tinkering with dangerous technology? The girl who wanted to stay in the background, and protect her family? The girl who was too shy to even ask for help when she needed it? The girl that he helped go down this path, only for her to die as a result, or so he thought... he had blamed himself this whole time, carried that guilt, doing whatever he had to do, no matter how cruel, all for the sake of getting vengeance, of getting justice.
"WHAT ABOUT YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS? HOW DO YOU THINK THEY'LL FEEL IF THEY SEE YOU KILL SOMEONE? ZOE, PLEASE, I KNOW YOU CAN DO THE RIGHT THING!"
He pleaded, but he did not know if she could even hear him. Even if she could, would she listen? The Zoe he knew would be waiting for the right moment to turn things around in her favor, and he desperately hoped it was the case. But he had to be prepared for the worst possible scenario, that she was really on their side.
Valo listened to Huntsmans' words when he started screaming, and he shut his eyes. His hands- no, his entire body was trembling, a mixture of fear and powerlessness filling him. He was right, none of them could give up. The only way they could win a war was by fighting, and casualties were to be expected, but these words...
They sounded like his swan song.
Thoughts a mess, Valo backed away from the dome as he looked skyward towards the screen, wondering what to do. The back of his foot would brush against his sword, and he would look down at it, watching the electricity overflowing despite it no longer being in his grip. His eyes watched the lightning dance. He had to be like that lightning, resilient and fighting despite there being no clear destination yet.
He crouched to pick up his sword as Siobhan approached him, and he looked at her. The look on her face was desperate, and he imagined that's how his own was right now. She was demanding she take him up to Knuckles, and as much as he would take her to the ends of the earth to make good on his promise, he wasn't even sure if it was possible to get in. And even so, he was likely leading her into certain death.
But everyone who chose to stand up to the Apostles knew what was at stake.
"Siobhan..." Valo spoke her name quietly, looking back at the screen to look at Knuckles and Zoe. The stakes had risen, and despite their slim chances, they still had to try. "We're getting in there." He spoke, trying to sound confident in his statement. They were stronger together, it was something Knuckles had told him at the supply drop, and it was going to be what allowed them all to get out of this.
His eyes would glow again as he looked all over the dome, trying to cover every inch of this thing. The tip of his blade would be scraping along the dome as he began to walk, looking for any way to possibly get in. If he could find an opening, then the two of them and any who wanted to follow could break in and fight. If all else failed, he supposed he had no other choice but to see what Alex and his brothers had planned. He hoped for their sake that they wouldn't be wasting his time.
(OOC:Empowered Eyes (Tier 1) - (Out of Combat only) The user is able to see things normally hidden to the naked eye, such as fingerprints, blood covered away, or residual gunpowder. This comes in handy for various things such as seeing which keys were pressed on a key lock in order to enter, or what keys were recently pressed on a keyboard in order to try and determine what was typed. Valo is able to see other things that a blacklight would regularly be able to see as well, such as blood splattered upon a wall that was once washed away. He can see how an object was recently handled, in which ways it was held or touched, essentially becoming a much better detective than he already was. One post per 5 INT. (1/17)

Levi watched as a familiar face emerged behind the glass, his eyes widening as he believed he was seeing a ghost for just a moment. However, the image didn't fade and his eyes confirmed the woman before him, now holding a blade to his friend's throat. His brow furrowed and frustration began to build inside as he failed to comprehend what was happening.
No...that man killed her...that cannot be the same woman...I call bullshit!
Levi continued to look for a way into the building, trying every door he could find until he found a way in. He needed to save Austin, but almost more than that, he needed answers. Plus a shot at Alexei wouldn't be a bad occurrence either.

"... Zoe?"
Macht's eye widened in disbelief when he saw the "dead" woman appear, the surprise taking hold to a point where he could not even acknowledge the words Lexington spoke to him competently - he simply patted his friend on the shoulder feebly and absentmindedly. He was confused, to say the least. Alexei killed her right in front of his very eye, snapped her neck and left her broken and lifeless on that stage. Everyone... everyone saw it happen. It was the biggest reason Hyperion labeled the Apostles as enemies, for fuck's sake. So why the hell was Zoe standing right there, for everyone to see? Under different circumstances, it might even be considered a miracle of sorts, but of course, in any of those situations she would not have been at the throat of his brother.
"Valo, your people have some fucking explaining to do!"
Macht shot his fellow Dragon a glare, the hate for the woman clearly shown in his eye. No one had the right to harm his family, especially not an ally, let alone a dead one. If she were to go through with this, Macht was going to personally rip her apart limb from limb.
"LET'S SHOW THESE MOTHERFUCKERS WHAT WE'RE MADE OF! THEY COME INTO OUR HOMES, RIP US AWAY FROM OUR FAMILIES, AND THEN TRY TO KILL ONE OF OUR OWN IN FRONT OF US?! FUCK THAT, FUCK THE APOSTLES, FUCK YOU ALEXEI, FUCK LUCA, FUCK ALL OF THEM! WE'RE TEARING DOWN THE GOD DAMN ESTABLISHMENT TODAY!"
A knot in his throat, Macht did all he could to keep himself from going into a blind rage. He needed to control the anger, use it rather than let it use him. So that's exactly what he did. Taking a deep breath, the redhead would round up every vehicle he could find in the area and begin to siphon the gas out of them. With that gas, he'd leave a liquid trail all throughout the interior base of the building. Once he'd had enough to compromise the foundation, he was going to light that shit ablaze and bring all of them down. If the building was gonna fall, at the very least he'd be able to piston punch into there and pull Ira and Knuckles away from the fight.
