A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Orion carefully prodded her hand, gently, urging for her to release the bottle. When she did so, Orion would take it from her and, after making sure it had been dumped out, would store it way for later disposal in his bag. He would then pull out a towel and offer it to her. He paid little heed to the violence promised within her eyes, the untold destruction that would eventually be unleashed.
"Ah, now that is where we differ, Miss Rose. While you feel that you must kill the one who wronged you yourself... I have no such idealism. If by my actions those who have earned my ire fall, either directly or indirectly, then I don't much care. If information I have leaked exposes a weakness that brings about their downfall, then I am content. If a poison saps their strength or stills their heart, one that I have administered or caused the administration of, then I am content."
Orion pondered for a moment.
"When fighting someone who is so powerful, the best option is to catch them off guard or off balance. Stealth, trickery, resourcefulness, dirty fighting. Anything out of the ordinary that can affect them. If an opponent is off guard or off balance, they can be quickly rendered desperate. If an opponent is desperate, they tend towards predictability in response to their desperation."
Orion smiled a bone-chilling smile.
"Predictable opponents, are dead opponents. Weakened opponents, are dead opponents. Opponents with no allies, are dead opponents. Opponents with no resources, are dead opponents."

My hand dropped the bottle as he took it from my hands. A towel... What did I need a towel for? Oh right... wet hands. I took it and wiped my hands. The gesture was sluggish and half hearted. My eyes dropped to the ground staring at nothing. I spoke to the ground, my voice still rich with anger.
"I could never stop at simply hurting him. I can't explain any further why I have to be the one to kill him other than I need to pay back what he did to my brother."
My eyes were brought back to his face.I didn't like the thought of killing Leon while he was off guard, but then again, hadn't I done just that at the Hyperion meeting? Desperation? No. Not Leon. He was never desperate. Not even when he was out numbered ten to one with every opponent stronger than him. He never lost his cool. It was one of the things that made him dangerous. One of the many things. His smile and his words had me shaking my head.
"Leon is never one to let the situation get out of his control. Even when he is backed into a corner, he always keeps his cool and escapes with ease. I have been following and studying him for these three years and still have found nothing I can use against him. I refuse to give in though. I will win. It may take years more, but I will kill him."
I pulled off the gloves and interlaced my fingers. Squeezing my hands together till my knuckles turned white. What did it help to talk abut this? Nothing. It helped nothing. I dragged my eyes away from his face down to my hands. I closed my eyes for a moment and sighed again.

Orion shrugged, standing back up.
"So long as you keep trying, eventually you'll hit your goal. I'd like you to keep in mind, though, that just because you have to be the one to kill him doesn't mean you need to dismiss others from helping. Teachers, companions, support... Nobody sane lives life alone, and most of those who aren't tend to have at least some degree of social interaction designed for their benefit."
Orion looked around the glade of flowers.
"Moving back to the original topic, as it is far too nice a day to be negative... I do hope that your offer of lessons is still available? I'd really rather not stumble in the dark for this sort of thing, as much as I'll probably end up experimenting with various toxins anyway. Plus, relearning the basics by teaching is always useful."
While Orion did enjoy debating motives, philosophy, and tactics with other people, he did have an original purpose to be in the meadow. And accidentally poisoning himself was not on the list of things to do. He would offer Melanie a hand to get up from her position on the ground, his evil smile relaxing back into a relatively calm expression, still a touch cheerful to stay on his teacher's good side.

My eyes pulled themselves from the ground to his face as Orion stood. I looked back down at the wilted flowers before me and let out my breath slowly. Closing my eyes I listened to his words and deciphered them carefully. I didn't have to fight Leon alone. I didn't have to be alone. Without opening my eyes I mumbled:
"I never said I was sane."
I kept my head down and took in a deep breath. Letting it out in a slightly huffed manner, I'd take his hand and stand wiping my face. Looking back to Orion, he might notice my face was lightened. Almost an eerily happy demeanor replaced my earlier angered and frustrated frame.
"You're right! It is such a beautiful day! So, what kinds of poisons did you want? Nothing too hazardous, I presume?"

Orion waited until Melanie had stood and looked him in the eye again before replying.
"Miss Rose, you are far more sane than I, I can assure you of at least that much."
Orion's voice was calm. But it held a ring of sincerity slipped into it, along with the a spark of madness in his eye, to convince her of his words. Orion was aware of how broken he was. He just couldn't care about it. It didn't harm him, it didn't directly harm others, so it wasn't a problem, in his eyes. He released her hand and closed his eyes, his own stance shifting to a relaxed one as he cracked his neck from side to side.
"Yes, let's avoid poisoning ourselves. As I mentioned before, I'd really like to avoid anything lethal, as that isn't the purpose. I need to subdue targets, or students in the future, in a way that won't kill them. Or will heavily disrupt them in combat if I'm forced to fight. So, tranquilizers, paralytics, hallucinogenics, anything that might cause nausea, or anything else debilitating you may think of?"

I noted his words and his eyes sparking slight madness. It didn't matter to me that he might be crazy. He was sweet just the way he was. He let go of my hand and I let it fall to my side. As he closed his eyes and cracked his neck, his frame relaxed. Good. My chipper attitude felt fake, but nice at the same time.
I nodded once. No poisoning ourselves. Tranquilizers, paralyses inducers, hallucinogens, nauseating... Wolfsbane causes weak muscles, Manchineel causes naseau, vomiting, diarrhea, and seizures but not right away. Putting the sap on someone's skin will cause instant blistering though... We will need gloves and a protective coating over our arms for the manchineel. The sap will give us blisters as well.
"Manchineel is a good one for instant protection, but if you get it on your own skin, it will blister. You'll need to handle it with care... If you ingest it, it will cause a lot of nasty things, but not right away. For instance, naseau, vomiting, diarrhea, and seizures. Like I said, not right away though. Wolfsbane is another good one, but it shouldn't be eaten right away. The sheer amount is fatal. BUT if you boil it or squeeze some of the oils out and dilute them, it will cause weakened muscles almost immediately once ingested."

Orion nodded along to her words, opening his eyes back up as he pulled his gloves on more securely. He mentally frowned though. While the plants she detailed were useful... They were ingested plants. Not his cup of tea, especially since no one had irritated him recently. Poisoning someone's food was all well and good as a viable strategy, but in the middle of a fight or if caught by surprise by an enemy? Not so much.
"Any plants that we can distill the toxins from? Forcing someone to ingest poison isn't exactly a reliable method."
Orion thought carefully.
"I was more-so planning to coat small weapons, such as needles or knives, in the poisons, or crafting cartridges for paintball guns to burst and release the poison, though the latter is admittedly more of a chemistry territory."

I watched him speak. He still wanted something for the skin. The thing was, the only one I had mentioned so far to cause instantaneous blistering, was also somewhat difficult to handle. HE would require constant protection which would ultimately make it more difficult to handle period. "Well, Manchineel seems to be what you are looking for, however, it is also very rough on skin. If your skin makes contact, your skin will break out in blisters. However, it will also cause their skin to break out. If you are dealing with items like you want, you will have to use caution in distributing them."I took a step to the side and grabbed my booklet of flowers and plants dictionary. Yes, i carried one around. I used to sell them at my store, but naturally they weren't a big seller. I still liked to keep them around still. FLipping through the booklet, I stopped at a page and showed it to Orion. Manchineel

((OOC: ... Graaaah, I bounce between POVs between my normal writing and this that I want to write in first person! Screw it, mimicry it is.))
I chuckled as she mentioned the caution I'd have to use when dealing with the plant she named, Manchineel. Toxicology wasn't the safest of studies in the world, I had already been planning to take precautions when working. I carefully analyzed the page Rose had flipped her little booklet to, memorizing the contents as best as I could.
"It'll be a good start then. Definitely going to have to crack down on whatever chemistry and biology I can get my hands on to figure out how to properly apply this in combat, let alone the others...."
I redirected my gaze from the book back to Melanie.
"Well then, oh great teacher, please guide me how you think best."

I looked back over my shoulder at the cart I had brought before bringing my gaze back to Orion. Ah well, best to start my store later on. Its not like there is some big bad thing that is about to completely screw up my life right? [[looks at camera]] I smiled up at him and nodded my head once.
"Alright. So long as you know what you are getting in to. The Manchileel should be right around there, the part of the forest that looks deserted. No=t a whole lot of other trees and animal life like to hang around it's bark for good reason."
I took a step toward the deserted part of the forest before stopping. I turned back and walked back to my cart, picked up the bag, and continued my way to the deserted area. I didn't think my cart would be able to make it through the shrubbery so, I'd leave it and come back later.
"Are you just looking for skin agitators? Small talk, my old friend...

I kept pace just behind the small girl (who was obviously slowing herself down for my sake; I had a feeling that she could move quite a bit faster if she felt like it), listening as she outlined where the plant was and why other life tended to avoid it like the plague. Made sense, poison was poison, and it wasn't exactly discriminatory. I listened carefully as she asked if I was only looking for skin agitators.
"Not really, no. While those will be useful, I'm looking for anything I might be able to refine for use on a weapon or just gas. Paralytics, hallucinogenics, anything that might disrupt a person heavily in combat or in general. I just can't use edibles because it's kind of difficult to make someone swallow something. I think hallucinogenics might end up being the most amusing to use though."
