"I cant believe that its Monday already."
Monday was definitely the worst day of the week by far no matter what was going on because it meant that you still had four more days left to go before the weekend came again. Perhaps going through the weeks would be a lot easier for Musashi if he had more people to talk to. However, since he had been here he hadn't met such a person. Everyone here was cold and ruthless, and only cared about looking out for themselves. Which was always a bad thing of course, you cant live for everyone. But sometimes people went over the top with it. The people of this school were only concerned with power and popularity, two of the things that Musashi cared about the least. He wasn't determined to be like the rest of the idiots and peak in high school. He had bigger goals, and no matter what happened in the school he would continue to grow as a person.
Since today was Monday Musashi would were his usual casual attire. This being a black shirt, with black jogger sweat pants, and some black sneakers. "I need a new face to talk to. I could use some more people to talk to throughout the day. If i did that maybe time during the day would go by faster." Walking down the hallways of the school with a grin on his face he searched long and hard for someone to talk to. He made sure top stay away from the wannabe thugs, and the overly popular girls. They always came with trouble. Musashi would however, spot a young kid across the hall at his locker. He was really small, and was more than likely a freshman. This meant that the problems he would encounter would be minimal to none which was just how he liked it.
"HEY! You over there."
He would say to he boy waving his arms for him to come over to him. His greeting wasn't the most normal, but the guy was obviously younger and he would seem like the type to follow through with that kind of request. Musashi wasn't a bad guy after all. He was a goodie goodie kid just like this guy was. Probably with just more fight experience in the school.

Taiki was getting something out of his locker, and minding his own business like he usually did to avoid trouble. When some kid yelled at him saying hey you, which in his experience wasn't always yelled for the best reasons. He looked over and saw some boy barely older then him waving at him, Taiki sighed and put on the child like face people are used too. Grabbing the stuff out of his locker and closing it Taiki turned to the boy and smiled "What can I do for you" replied Taiki in a child like tone with an added head tilt for good measure.
Taiki wasn't certain but it didn't seem the kid wished to fight, so he kept his hands away from his weapons for the moment. Though of all people Taiki knew of leading people into a false sense of security, it was one of his best tactics to befriend someone strong and if he couldn't turn him to his said he'd remove the threat. It wasn't that he considered friends as threats, if he ever truly made friends or could in a place like this. From what he'd heard it was unlikely that you could find one person here, whom wasn't only looking out for their self and their own well being,

Jackpot!
This guy indeed was the furthest thing from being dangerous. This was probably the first time since he had been to this school that he had met a guy that was filled with complete innocence. This was definitely going to be the guy that he was going to be spending his free time with. If he succeeded he was sure to finally have someone to hang out with to make his time here in the school less painful. "Nothing in particular. Just trying to be social, there really isn't too many people in the school you can actually talk to ya' know?" He would say to the boy before leaning up against the locker while looking down the hallways.
"The names Musashi by the way. I'm a Junior here. Whats your name kid?"
Musashi definitely wasn't being his normal self outside of the fact that he was really positive about what the outcome of this situation would be like. So naturally he was going to be more forward than usual, but what was there to possibly be afraid of. The guy seem to be even nicer than himself, and that was saying something.

It seemed that this kid wanted to be friends, Taiki was surprised if this was actually somehow genuine. Because like he said there wasn't a lot of people looking to talk and socialise with people, he'd only met one helpful guy since being here. And now someone was trying to become friends with him, with a nod Taiki replied "I'm flattered that chose me then, and so far I've only met one other nice person since I've been here" as he spoke Taiki put the stuff he'd gotten out of his locker into his bag.
Then returned his attention to Musashi "Nice to meet you, I'm Taiki" responded Taiki as he wondered if his choice of playing innocent had given Musashi that impression upon him. Not releasing that Taiki had a reasonable body count under his name, though the police were never able to pin those crimes on him they did know about what happened to the gang leader. Either way Taiki was grateful to be able to have a potential friend, though he'd have to watch how he acted and avoid confrontation around him. Since that usually brought his not so innocent side out, and for now Musashi didn't need to see that side of him.

"Nice to meet you Taiki."
"I'm going to be headed to the school courtyard before classes start, you should join me."
He assumed the boy wouldn't turn it down, at least it would seem that way. He figured that if the guy had any plans he wouldn't be wasting his time talking to him anyways. Plus this was the perfect time for them to get to know a little about each other, and maybe Musashi could even give some advice to the young lad on how to survive the horrors of this God forsaken school.

"Same" replied Taiki to the Kidd's nice to meet him, it seemed he was heading to the school courtyard before classes. Though from what the other nice kid had told him, that wasn't wise for people to cross when they were knew and had no fights under their belt. "I've already been warned that the courtyard is gang territory between or before classes, wouldn't it be wise to avoid it then" added Taiki knowing it was best to evade fights this earlier in his time here. It wasn't that he couldn't fight but he likely had less strength then most his age, and there was still the uneasy feeling that this was some kind of set up.
Maybe this Musashi was budding up to him, so that he could lead him to the courtyard to be gang bashed and who knows what else. It wouldn't be the first time he'd seen it happen, as it was a way to mug, bash or rape people in his neighbourhood by the local gangs or their more charming members, "Well as long you remember, that I'm new here and don't want to be lead into a trap. I don't mind coming if you can promise I'll be safe from attack" expressed Taiki with a tilted head and puppy dog eyes.

"Hmm, that's a good analysis kid for someone who is new here. You must be a very smart boy, but I always stay out of trouble. There wont be any violence there today from what I heard."
This kid was obviously a smart one. Musashi remembered the days back when he was a freshman at this school and how clueless he was about how things in the school work. People had tried to jump him so many times throughout all the days he had came to cool, but luckily he was faster than most. Usually because most of the gang members here were known for sagging there pants and that was never good for running. Just look at all the people that get caught on the hit Tv show "COPS." The kid definitely had a reason to be worried, but Musashi would make sure that no matter what that the kid would definitely be in no danger at all.
"Of course dude, I am not in any gangs myself so I would be the last person that would try to set you up."
Turning around at the boy and pointing his thumb to his chest he would continue to walked down the hallways toward the double doors that would lead them to the schools beautiful courtyard. "I'm one of the good guys, so you wont get no trouble from me dude." Once Musashi would arrive to the double doors he would open one of them and would take a few steps out while still holding the door. Hmmm, before we get to know each other how about I make things interesting. Let me see what kind of person this guy is. Without another thought Musashi would jerk his body to the left of the door ( Taikis right ) as if someone had just grabbed him and pulled him away from the door. The door slowly closing with Musashi out of sight before he would yell "HELP ME!" He would then slowly lay on the grass that was on the about nine feet from the door. He would rest his hands behind his head with both of his knees up waiting to see if the boy would come for him.
Musashi was aware that this was kind of mean in a sense, but he just wanted to see where the boys heart was. He and his brother had plans for this school, and it started by trying to see what kind of people the school had to offer. Are you a Hero, Villain, or just a scared weak little boy. These were just some of many the things he wanted to find out.

Despite knowing his child like act was useful, he still disliked being treated like some kind of primary schooler. But he fobbed it off as Musashi complimented him about his analysis and intelligence, with a smile "being smart and observant was the only way I could survive in my neighbourhood" added Taiki who'd already started moving with the cheery kid. Hearing his further words about not leading him into a trap and being one of the good guys he mentally scoffed at Musashi.
"Glad to hear it, I've met two people now who're quite nice" expressed Taiki as he referred to Naoki who'd helped him on his first day here. Weather they'd stay friends is another matter he'd have to look into too, as Musashi went towards the door Taiki picked up on certain movements that he was putting off as he stood at the door.
Being jerked away from the door Musashi disappeared behind it, and Taiki just kept walking out the door and saw him laying on the grass pretending to have been taken. Taiki just looked at him with a sigh "Remember what you said before, I'm a fairly smart person. So don't think your pretence is going to work, observation was the key to my survival back home. So I know a bad joke when I see one" informed Taiki as he stood just passed the door with his arms crossed. Looking a little put off by his test as Taiki guessed it was, with Musashi laying on the ground like an idiot Taiki just started walking "So, you coming" added Taiki with a smirk.

"..... Yeah."
Getting up off the ground slowly Musashi would then proceed to follow the new kid. Well more like the mysterious kid. Musashi himself was a very observative person, and so far since he had been around the guy a lot of things just hadn't made sense. This boy looked like he was the most innocent person in the world who had probably been sheltered his whole life, and yet he was saying things like ---
"Being smart and observant was the only way I could survive in my neighborhood"
What kind of neighborhood had he grown up in exactly? Surely it had to be Mr. Rogers neighborhood because the guy just seemed way to innocent, but after seeing how the boy reacted to his silly attempt to create a violent situation Musashi begin to think otherwise. A kid of his stature no matter how smart he was would have probably panicked in this situation. He seemed like the ultimate square, especially after being worried about getting jumped in the courtyard.
However, for someone who was 'innocent' he seemed to be way to fearless and that began to make Musashi wonder. Not to mention the smirk he gave him while walking past him like he was an idiot. Granted he probably did look like one, but there was no way for him to have known he was joking even if it was a bad joke. The personality that he was displaying before and now were complete different. Musashis dad worked for a the triad so he knew fishy people when he saw one. However, besides what Musashi had observed the boy definitely seemed to be a good person, so he would just play along with the kid to see how things would go. With his smile still on his face he would proceed to question the boy so they could finally get some conversation going.
"So kid..... What neighborhood did you grow up in?"

Taiki could see slight dejection on the other boys face, probably expecting another reaction then Taiki had given. Sadly he'd released that he may have given up the goat so to speak, in his appearance of an innocent look but the attempt at a joke and or test slightly offended Taiki. The other kid had simply given him help without the plump and posture this boy was, and if Musashi thought him naive or innocent it was likely Taiki felt the same in return. Then he asked what neighbourhood he grew up in, which was obviously a fishing expedition but he'd already shown part of himself so he may as well express it truthfully. "A very poor and gang controlled area" replied Taiki simply hoping the boy would put two and two together.
He also wondered about this kid, who seemed to act like the cheerful kid in a school where beating brains in was the school sport. But Taiki had no choice in going here because the other choice was juvie, somewhere that his innocent wouldn't wash at all but here here was still a chance. "What about you, where'd you grow up" asked Taiki returning to his innocent overshadow, wondering if he should really bother anymore but despite his response earlier. He figured the kid still felt that he was a little innocent, and thus Taiki would keep up the facade untill he really had to drop it.

I knew it. I guess I am getting smarter.
Musashi knew there was something different about the boy, and now he had proof that there really was something different about him. He could tell why the boy would hide such a history. It was pretty obvious in fact now that he knew some of the truth. If he came off as a weak and innocent person than he had a better chance at adverting trouble whether it be people being more kind to him, or gang members and other idiots taking him as a weakling giving him the chance to exploit there ignorance. It was genius, Musashi definitely had to give it to the kid.
"Dang that sucks that you had to go through that dude."
Musashi himself knew the troubles of being in areas surrounded by gangs and other people who were trying to gain territory by force. He knew it all to well. However, there were certain parts about his life that had to remain secret too, but he wouldn't keep the boy too far off. Musashi really wanted to befriend the boy so he figured he would give him a lot more than he would give to other people. This could be of letting the boy know that he was friendly, and that he was willing to trust. He didn't expect the boy to do so, but one of them had to. It was going to be the only way there relationship could have some kind of progress.
"I Grew up in the streets of Japan."
Of course there was much more that went a long with that story, but he would just leave everything he had to say about his past right there. Finding a bench he would finally take his seat and would just look at the blue sky above him. He and his brother had plans for this school, and for the plan to be effective they would need people like the boy that he had encountered. Those who had endured pain and hardship and were finally ready for a change. The boy was young, but he sure there was a lot about him that didn't meet the eye. "So tell me Taiki, what are your hopes for this place?"

It seemed that Musashi was sorry he had to go through all of what he did, but he didn't really know what he went through and what he had to do to survive. And even then what it came down too, in the end. Taiki faked a smile and expressed a low volume thanks, before sighing as he walked with the kid who was either being his friend out of pity or maybe he needs a friend he wasn't certain. Then Musashi went on and said he'd grown up on the streets of Japan, which meant there was a good chance he'd dealt with gang activity himself. Despite both America's and Japan's reputation as first world nations, they like everywhere else had poor neighbourhoods which in turn meant gang activity. Taiki thought that at least this kid had an idea how his life was at one point, to what extent he didn't know but he might some day.
Then Musashi found a bench and sat down on it, stark at the sky so Taiki sat down next to him. Out of nowhere came a big question for Taiki, what was his hopes for this place. Truth be told he really didn't have any, he was here against his will because the other choice was juvie. "I'd like to survive, but otherwise I don't know. I had no say in going to this school, so I hold no aspirations other then surviving till I've done my time. I guess, sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear" replied Taiki wondering if Musashi had some grand plan for this barbaric place.

Musashi listened to the response of the boy quietly. He understood completely were the boy was coming from. All he simply wanted to do was survive all of the mess that this school had to offer. That was all a lot of the good people in this school wanted. He was sure things would definitely change for the boy once he got older and stayed in the school a lot longer. Perhaps all the boy really did care about was surviving, but the boy had three more years of this place to strengthen that conviction. And there was no telling what would happen in between that time. By the time he got to be the age that he was there would be no way for him to know what kind of person he would still be.
"I understand Taiki. Keep that conviction strong, because this place has a way of changing people. Surviving can become something completely different."
Musashi kept his focus toward the sky above him. Today was truly a good day so far. Nothing chaotic had happened, and he managed to meet one of the few decent people left in the school. He wanted to befriend this person. He had plans for this school, and even if the boy didn't want to have anything to do with trying to change anything he would without a doubt need allies. There was no way anyone could get through this school alone. That is unless they were as powerful as the people that run it, but there wasn't any body with that kind of power in the school 'yet.' Hopefully the boy would see that when the day would come were Musashi would bring that to his attention.

It seemed that Musashi wanted him to keep his convictions, which was something he was doing anyway. He had expected to die when he tackled that bastard out the window, hoping to take the man that took his family with him. But sadly both had survived, while Taiki walked away relatively unharmed the other one didn't walk away at all. But this place to Taiki was a whole other kettle of fish, he'd heard about this place before he was sent here from those on the streets around it. And that it looked like some kind of fighting school, where proverbial anime characters duke it out for superiority.
He never wanted to go here but juvie was hardly any better and at least here he gets a little freedom, though he really doesn't have a home and still live on the streets. Taiki looked over to Musashi "What of your plans then" asked Taiki thinking that if he asked the question of him, it was only fair he returned it to him since he seemed interested about the idea. He didn't expect a full response on whatever he might have planed, but he hoped he'd enlighten him on the general idea he might have for the place. Taiki didn't know if this kid was strong or strong enough to enact those plans, but if its something he could get behind. Taiki may very well use his skills to help him, if he wanted that help.

A smirk would appear on the face of Musashi after the boy asked him what his plans were. He figured that this would be the best time possible to explain everything to the boy, but unfortunately he could not tell the boy everything. He nor his brother could risk anyone in the school knowing what they had planned. If word got out to the wrong person then they would never even get a chance to make a difference. "I'd figure you would be curious about that."
He would say to the boy, his eyes focused on the clouds that were passing by above his head. There would be a slight pause in between before Musashi decided that he had put enough words together to tell the boy what he had planned. He didn't want to lie to Taiki at all, instead he would just make sure to only tell him small segments of the truth. Therefore, he technically wouldnt be lying at all. He would just be holding out on important information. "Our goal is to find a way to make this school a safer place. The people that are in charge of the school now haven't really made too much of a different. All the same problems still linger without any way of keeping it under control. In other words we just want to go a different way about bringing order to this school. Theres no way that anyone would be capable of stopping all the chaos, but there is way to definitely maintain it."
