A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

I sat on a bench out in the courtyard. I was taking deep breaths through my mask. This was getting exhausting... it was one fight after another since I became the Third Pillar. People wanted to fight for the title... people didn't want to stop fighting each other so they started fighting me... Then there was all of the rumors going around about the Riot Gang. It was draining... that masked guy was right... this school was going to bleed me dry.
"God damn..."
I stood up, my face, clothes, and gloves covered in blood. I looked down at the unconscious students at my feet. Now that I had my breath back, I needed to bring them to the nurse's office. Dammit, for once I wish people would just listen and agree when I asked them to give up without a fight.

Vivi sprinted out of the school having just managed to escape another kid trying to steal her wallet. These past few days it seemed she couldn't do a god damn thing without getting beat up or getting her money stolen.
Lost in her thoughts, Vivi nearly tripped over the body of an unconscious student, and paused in her tracks, quickly taking in the scene around her. Her eyes rested on the masked boy covered in blood.
“…Hey Bat Kid,” she’d say, a hint of animosity in her voice, “What the hell are you doing to the students? ‘You some kind of hitman?”

I was about to kneel down and pick up the closest kid to me when I heard a voice. Vivi..? She did not seem happy with me... this was not going to end well for me. I mean well, this wasn't going to end well for my reputation. From the looks of things... it probably looked like I beat the shit out of these kids for shits and giggles. The truth of the matter was these guys were members of riot gang that had jumped me. I managed to dispatch them, but they kept on coming at me so I had to use more force than I generally liked.
"This isn't what it looks like, I'm the Third Pillar."
Because titles matter so much when someone thinks that you beat the shit out of some kid.

It was PHS #552. Not too long ago, the freaking school captain had kicked her ass just for the hell of it, who was to say this Pillar wasn’t the same way?

I tried to speak in the deeper voice that I spoke in when I wore my mask. But I was so damn tired my voice started to come out like it regularly did so I stopped myself from speaking anymore. One of the people near Vivi would reach a hand out to her leg, grabbing it to get her attention.
"Please... Avenge us..."
Dammit... they were playing dirty they were trying to make the students lose faith in the Pillar and pit 552 against themselves.
"Don't listen to them. Trust me. I'm not your enemy."

Vivi furrowed her eye brows, for the split second he spoke, his voice sounded really familiar. She couldn’t quite put her thumb on it though. Vivi jerked in surprise when one of the wounded students grabbed at her ankle.
Why the hell would they ask something like that? Maybe they wanted her lying crumpled and bloody on the ground too. Vivi glanced up and locked eyes with the masked boy. Macht and Takeshi were trying to teach her to quit fighting like a pansy, so if this was a chance to go against a pillar… why not take it? The experience would probably be good in the long run. She’d become pretty uncaring about her physical well being after the numerous hospital trips she’d made in her life, so the fact that she’d end up like the other students didn’t grate on her too much.
“…Show me what you can do, Mr. Third Pillar,” Vivi said, “If you can beat up that many students, maybe I can learn a thing or two from you.”

Let me put it this way... I was exhausted after fighting that many people. It took everything I had to take all of them down, so I was not looking forward to another fight. I especially didn't want to fight someone that was potentially one of my friends, but I couldn't just go right out and say that now could I? I took a step towards her. Maybe I could reason with her?
"Look, I'd rather not fight you. It just wouldn't be fair. These guys got what they had coming to them. You shouldn't get involved in this. You don't get what's going on."

Vivi spread her hands and shrugged.
"Never said I thought I'd win. Think of it like a spar," she said, "Take me out quick and we'll be done, I'd just like to see what you can do."
After transferring to PHS #552 she'd taken more of an interesting in fighting, particularly strong people because it was nice to get a look at the technique of someone who managed to come so far. Granted, it had landed her in the hospital times, but she didn't really care.

"Fine. Then come on."
I would stand completely straight as I looked at her, my body angled so that my right shoulder was facing towards her. It appeared that I didn't take a fighting stance, something most people took as an insult. In all actuality, this was my fighting stance. By angling my body it narrowed my profile, making myself a smaller target. With my arms at my sides, I had faster reaction to blocking attacks to my core and low kicks. The lack of bending my knees meant that I favored defense and offense equally with ability to switch between the two faster. Of course it left some openings, such as the only method I had to protect my head was dodging. Since my leg stance was neutral, it meant I would have to actually switch into an offensive or defensive position as the situation called for. But for a fighter like me, it was perfect. I thought of it as a reactionary stance to switch into different stances.

A small smile formed on Vivi's lips. Doubtless, this wouldn't last long, but fighting pillars was kind of fun. It gave her the drive to get stronger, something she needed.
Stepping forward, Vivi threw a left hook at the side of his face where his shoulder faced her. Before the blow connected however, she turned the advance into a snap kick, aimed his solar plexus.

She was aiming for my head... I could duck or take a step back. If I ducked I'd be in a decent position to counter attack, but if I took a step back I could analyze her movements a little bit more and get a hold of her rhythm. I hadn't exactly seen how Vivi fought so I decided it was probably better to read her rhythm before I attacked back. So after the split second I took to come to that conclusion, I took a step back. However, I acted too soon. In the moment I took a step back to dodge the punch, which was a feint, Vivi turned her punch into a kick. As the kick came in and landed against my chest, I pivoted on my back foot with the flow of the kick to lessen the pain from it. As I pivoted through, I would strike at her leg with my left forearm to throw her off balance. Pivoting 180 degrees, I would stop so that now my body would be behind my left foot, giving me about a foot of space between where I was before and where I was now. I held the same stance, except with my left shoulder facing Vivi now.

Vivi’s kick connected, but just barely. The boy proceeded to strike her leg with her fore arm, throwing her off balance. She allowed her leg to drop, and braced herself to keep from falling, while raising her arms to defend her face. Strangely enough, he didn’t strike her back, just defended.
Next, Vivi would send two consecutive jabs at him to test the water, one aimed for his stomach, and the other for his liver. If he blocked them with his arms, she’d send a low stamp kick for his knee, and if he dodged or moved away, she’d follow after him and try to snap kick him in the stomach.

Two punches. Close in proximity aimed for the middle of my torso. Blocking would mean that I'd have to deal with both separately. I could counter attack, but I don't want to actually hurt her. Dammit. I wish I didn't have to fight her. This is why you never keep any of your friends Shugo. You idiot. I side stepped her advance by moving to the right. From there, I would jut forward quickly before she could launch the kick. As I moved past her frame, my left arm would lash out backwards, aiming to hit her in the back of the head. It wasn't that hard of a blow, but the attack was meant as a warning of what I could do if I got serious. I would continue past her unless she hindered me somehow. Once I reached about ten feet away, I would screech to a stop and pivot around to face her. I preferred having some distance between myself and my foe while I read them.

This guy was fast. He tore past her quicker than her eyes could follow, and struck her on the back of his head as he did so. If he wanted too, he clearly could have floored her several minutes ago. So why didn’t he?
Vivi began to get the feeling she’d been reading him wrong… if he was the Third Pillar than maybe these were all challengers? Regardless… she didn’t want to back out now. The sooner this guy ended the fight, the better.
“Hey… don’t hold back on me, okay? I asked for it,” Vivi spoke up. Before she could stop herself, she asked the question that was grating at the back of her mind.
“Are these just challengers for your title? If they are, I’m just gonna go out on a limb here and say you should have said something about it.”

I answered the girl's question. Even if she wanted me to go all out, I just didn't feel fair fighting someone with my full strength unless I had to. I looked around at the unconscious bodies, feeling my body ache slightly from all of this fighting. I figured it was probably good to explain to her who exactly Riot Gang was. Most people at 552 heard of them, but didn't know just how bad they are.
"They're a group that's been attacking 552 for a while now. Leading back to the old Pillars' reign. This gang deals in violence, drugs, weapons, stolen goods, human trafficking, anything you can think of... these guys do. I made it my mission to stop them at everyturn."
