Vivi arched an eye brow at the rather mouthy girl. She wasn't sure if she'd actually seen this one before, so she wasn't sure what to make of her. For now, she reminded her of the prissy, popular type girls she'd seen on movies, the ones who gossiped incessantly and threw insults without so much as a thought. Then again, judging people by first impressions was a pretty shallow thing to do.
"Out of our group of people Shugo qualifies the best. He's a pillar, he's willing to put his life on the line for the student's well being, he can probably fight better than most of us, he has direct ties with Yuy Corp, and so on. His Int stat's also nearly six times higher than yours and mine is twice as high," Vivi replied, "I'm not big on choosing a leader just yet, but I'm saying if we did, he's the only one I can see as a legit one."
Vivi glanced at Shugo. Yeah, what he did was a dumbass thing to do. But she wasn't one to judge people from a single experience. Part of her knew if they gave him another chance, he could do great things.
"But for now, I agree with Lex's suggestion."

So much seemed to happen in slow-mo for her. He was alive. Her heart beat increased exponentially. She saw Valo for the first time in weeks. Some girl punched Shugo. Did she want to punch him, too? She looked down at her clenched fist and released the force she was building slowly opening up her hand. The teacher spoke to the crowd about a war but she only really caught half of it. Shugo was alive! So why was she here? She was no fighter, or warrior. She was a healer, a nurse! What good could she do on a killing field? She accidently let an almost crazy laugh loud enough for everyone to hear. She stared at Shugo intently with her crimson eyes filled with sorrow. "Defenders, huh? Was this your doing, Shugo? OR was it all just yours?" She said as she glared at the teacher. "You don't even know me! So why me? Tell me!" She exclaimed as she slammed her fist into a table causing it to splinter. "I am no fighter!" She fell to her knees as tears rolled down her face. She though she was done crying but something about this situation brought up more tears.
She turned her head back to Shugo. "You don't even know how hard this was for me. I... I can't lose anyone else.
