A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

As the elbow came toward her stomach, Vivi would use her own elbow and slam it into the inside of his bicep to give him a nasty charlie horse, and hopefully re-direct the blow away from her stomach. If the elbow still came, she'd flex her stomach muscles and take it, though she let out an audible grunt. From there she'd yank her arm from his grip and grab the arm that elbowed her and pull it straight, before swiftly sending the heel of her palm to his elbow.
If she re-directed the blow, she'd send a quick upper cut aimed for his chin. If this disoriented him, she'd grab his arm, pull it straight and slam the heel of her palm into his elbow.

He really couldn't catch her off guard. As tugged on his arm to pull it straight, he would do his best to pull back, bending his elbow as she struck at it, which at least he hoped he could do with the superior strength he had. At the same time, he sent his palm on the other side of his elbow to push on it, hoping to reinforce it and prevent his arm from snapping.
He had to be offensive while he was still in close quarters with her. Taking a step forward, he would attempt to place his right foot behind her left, pushing back on her upper body in an attempt to trip her and send her falling back to the ground. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES |

Vivi's manuever was thwarted, and Adrian didn't miss a second. She recognized what he was about to do as a hook trip, due to the fact that she used the take down a lot herself. When he moved to step behind her foot, she took a quick step backwards and jumped up to wrap her legs around his torso. Seeing as his weight was mostly distributed forward, she'd try to take advantage of this by leaning backward in hopes to cause him to fall forward.
She'd then land on her back and place one leg over his shoulder, going across the back of his neck, and place her other leg across her own shin, catching him in a triangle choke. Seeing as he was stronger than her, she'd try to do this all extremely quickly so it'd be difficult to react in time. Vivi pointed her toes upward to flex her calves, which would begin the choke, then pressed down on his head. Assuming she even managed to get him in the choke, he'd begin to have the blood cut off from his head. If she could just do this fast enough, Vivi hoped he might not be able to brute force his way out in time.

He certainly wasn't expecting her to turn this around on him like this. As she fell down, her legs wrapped around him, and he'd fall down with her, practically landing on top of her. Then came her choke. She was quick, and it caught him off guard completely. Vivi had her legs around his head now, and he felt his air supply get cut off as she pressed down on his head.
"Ack... Vivi.. I.. yield... you can.. stop..." He gasped out, feeling a bit weird being in this position with her the way he thought of her. He could've continued the assault, possibly gotten out of this, but he didn't want to hurt her, just as she was trying to force him down. It was better to end it now rather than later. Adrian yielded, and she released him. So… had she done it? She’d won? It was a little hard to process. Vivi had shown up on the roof top just thinking she’d give it her best, but didn’t imagine she’d be the victor. Guilt pricked at her heart due to how rough she’d been with him. Granted, he had stopped pulling his punches somewhat as the fight went on, but Vivi had been giving it her all most of the way through.
Standing up, Vivi held a hand out to him to pull him to his feet.
“Thanks for the fight, man,” she said, “Well… now what?”
She honestly felt a little confused and awkward at the moment, mostly because she really never expected she would win. What does one even say at a time like this?

In a way, he cursed himself for wanting to pull his punches. If it was anyone else at all, he'd have no qualms with breaking some bones or sending someone off of the roof even, but it was Vivi, and he just couldn't put his all into it no matter how much he tried.
Looking up at her after she released him, he took a deep breath and took her hand as she offered it, getting back to his feet.
"Thank you too. You showed me I have a ways to go before I'll be satisfied with my skills." He smiled. "But I suppose you're the victor. If there's anyone who I feel deserves the title, it's you, Vivi."
And he meant that. A loss to her didn't sting as bad. She was an able fighter and one he could trust wholeheartedly, and like a good big brother figure, he'd support her fully. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES |

“I appreciate that,” Vivi gave him and gentle punch on the arm, “You would’ve made a pretty snazzy Pillar yourself. But thanks, Adrian.”
He was such a good sport. A lot of students around here would either be totally butt-hurt about losing, shout out all the reasons why it wasn’t fair, or just get plain angry with her. But Adrian was mature about this, and Vivi respected that.
Although she had won, Vivi didn’t get the feeling that she far surpassed him or something like that. If anything, they were pretty much toe to toe in skill. Things just happened to end in her favor this time.

Vivi's tactics put a big smile on Macht's face, simply because they were exactly what he would have done in that scenario. Her triangle choke brought the fight to a close with Morei basically tapping out, but he'd let the two have whatever moment it was they were having before he made things official. "Vivi." He gave the girl a nod, approaching the two. His attention turned to Morei and he nodded to him simply out of courtesy. "Adrian." He was glad Vivi had won instead, in complete honesty, and it likely showed in his tone. "Here," he spoke simply, tossing Vivi a ring with the words "Third Pillar" engraved on the inside of it. "Meet me at the Pillar office when you're ready. Congratulations, girl. I'm proud of you."With a small smile, he'd pat Vivi on the shoulder and take off. Slowly but surely, the Pillars were becoming people he knew he could trust. Valo smiled and ruffled her hair. "Thanks, kiddo. No need to try and make me feel better though. Just be careful or I might snatch the spot from ya if you get complacent."
He didn't mean that, he'd probably go hunt Shugo's instead. In any case, she won, and he was just as happy for her. When Macht came up to congratulate her, he cringed as Macht used and emphasized his real name, which he likely picked up during the fight. Whatevs, Macht was a cool guy at least. He nodded back to Macht out of respect.
"Congratulations, Vivi. Whenever you're free, I'll take you out for a drink or something to celebrate. But you probably don't wanna keep him waiting." He kept up that trademark smile.
He was probably gonna stick around up here for a bit and relax before heading back down. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES |

Vivi turned to see Macht approaching them now that their bout was at it’s end. She noted how he called Adrian… well, Adrian. He said it in a funny way too. She remembered what he had said about most people calling him Valo, and felt a prick of guilt in the back of her mind for just throwing his true name around.
Vivi caught the ring Macht tossed to her and raised her eye brows as she studied it, before looking up at him again. His words were simple and too the point, but hearing that he was proud of her meant a lot to her. The corner of her mouth quirked upward in a slight smile.
“Will do. Catch ya later, Macht.”
She then turned to Adrian, and her smile widened a bit at his words.
“I’ll hold you to that,” she said, “But yeah, I should probably head to the Pillar Office first. Peace, brother."
She gave him a mock salute, and then headed off.
