Shiro watched him as he shut his eyes.
'..Asch, huh..'
She mumbled to herself as she cocked her head to the side and rested her cheek on the palm of her hand. Now he had his eyes closed she could have a proper good look at his face. He was pretty cute.. and he was sweet too. She couldn't help but smile at his peaceful face; he looked almost vulnerable.

As Asch napped, he thought about how the day had gone so far. This was his first day at the school, and already he loved it more than any other place he'd been to. He'd made two friends: a seaweed-head who got on his nerves but he liked, and a pretty pink-haired girl who was kind and unlike most people he'd met. He figured that with the show he'd put on in the classroom, he'd bound to get into trouble--maybe even a fight since he wouldn't just take a beating without putting up resistance. He looked forward to it. He didn't know what classes he was supposed to go to, but he didn't really care at the moment. He'd rather catch a few winks and lazily sleep about, even if he wasn't tired. He couldn't deny that he could also be lazy at times.

Shiro finally made herself look back at the paper. About 20 minutes had gone by; Asch was still sound asleep and Shiro had finally finished her work.
'Finally!'
She whispered as she stretched her arms out. She worked solidly for 20 minutes, that was totally a record! She turned her head to the window; the sun was glowing brightly in the sky. Although, it wasn't that warm, she still wanted to go outside and enjoy the start of spring. She turned back to Asch.. she couldn't just leave him asleep.. but it would be rude to wake him up.. She just sat there frowning at what to do; her hand hovering over his shoulder.

Shiro almost jumped out of her chair as he spoke.
'Y-Yep, all done!'
She stammered, her face flushing. Was he even asleep?! Did he know she'd been staring..?

Asch sat up in his chair and stretched his arms above his head before running his fingers through his hair. "You should probably go turn it in right now. It would suck if you lost the paper after all that work. I must've been napping for a good half-hour... or something."

Shiro pouted at his words.
'..But I wanna go outside..'
She quietly protested. She knew he was right and she needed to hand in her work.. but she really wanted to see the flowers blooming in the school grounds. And the cherry blossom trees, too. There weren't many flowers so it was nice to see them.. it made her think of home.

Asch shook his head. "Turn it in first. Then go outside. It wouldn't be smart to sacrifice all the hard work we just did just 'cause you wanna go outside. Just turn it in, then do whatever you want."

Shiro sighed and pushed her chair back from the table before she got up.
'I guess you're right.'
She stated, picking up the paper.
'H-Hey.. Thanks for teaching me.'
She stated, flashing him a grin; bearing her white teeth. She began making her way out of the Library. She wondered whether the teacher would be in her room..
