"Rosett? Hmm, sounds a little more like they were expecting a girl and choose not to change their mind on the name."
--- She said jokingly. It was a unique name though it did sound more like a surname yet at the same time it could very well be a first name. Despite it sounding more for a girl than boy. But hey there were guys out there named Michelle. Go figure. She smirked as she took a bigger sip of her drink. Ok maybe it was a lie about her not having one before she arrived. She did have one, but that was nothing. It was a shot. A tease. Didn't even give her a buzz. Where she got her high tolerance for alcohol was a mystery. Certainly wasn't from her mother. Ah well must've been from her father cause her uncle alone could drink someone under the table.
"As do I."
--- She smirked referring to him wondering what he should call her. Sometimes she gave out her name, other times she found it interesting what others came up with. Noting the shift in her placement by him and where he was looking she smiled. However inside she smirked mischievously. At this point he could probably just call her 'trouble'. Taking another sip Cereza would snake inward to him, removing her free hand from his and placing both her arms around his neck. He had about three inches on her so it really wasn't uncomfortable at all. The free hand would twirl some of his loose locs and her head would rest just a little on his shoulder near his neck. Given the positioning and the cover her hat provided it probably looked to the other male that she might've been kissing his neck. So funny how quickly this guy got jealous as if he's known her once before and tried and failed that time too. Or maybe she overly teased him once before and now couldn't take the rejection. Who knew? But she was being oh so bad. Playing up a role so devilishly. She was a pretty good actress, she should try it for a profession.
"I wonder are you a thorn-less rose or not?"
--- The phrase was a tad bit cryptic but it was soon to be answered. For said drunken fellow was getting up with a bunch of steam pouring off him. She must've run into him once before. That had to be it. Oh wells.

Steven didn't mind the commenting of his surnames feminine nature. He wore the name with pride, like a Rosette, for first prize. He would notice that she didn't actually return his introduction, but her word still were reply to them. A smart avoidance if he ever saw one. Well then, it seemed that 'Hun' would have to do for her name for now. It fit when he used it. Then she closed on him, wrapping around him and a blush would once again greet his cheeks. He couldn't remember the last time he had a women this close to him without violence of some kind being involve.
"I wonder are you a thorn-less rose or not?"
Steven wonder what she meant however. From the new position it was even easier to see the guy getting up and coming toward them. He looked drunk angry, and was raising an arm as if to attack. The guy would close the distance and swing out, and while Steven assumed that it was aimed for his face over Cereza head. The man's aim would be off do to the drink.
Steven free arm would grip around her waist, and the spinning on the heels of his feet, would pull her out of the path of the mis-aimed fist, catching the blow to the side of his cheek. His arm would then pull her to his side, so that they spun once again, on of Steven feet could sweep the guy's leg out from under him.
"I have some."

--- His face was out of her sight to notice the blush but she imagined he had considering before. While she was in this position twirling his hair, she couldn't help but note that he had really soft hair. Hey some guys didn't have such nice hair. It was about as silky smooth as hers which was most hiding underneath her hat. Not that anyone would know the sea of hair she really had unless they had seen her with her hat off and those were very rare times. From the time she had gotten close to Rosett she was mentally counting down to the point of the drunken's man assault. Call it a woman's intuition, or spidey senses. Let's go with spidey senses. She felt the sudden change in wind and taking into consideration that they were indoors she really shouldn't have been feeling wind.
--- Rosett's touch on her wrist was a precursor to him spinning her out the way of the blow. Luckily she had stopped playing with his hair cause that would've sucked for both. Everything happened so fast and she hadn't expected to be spinning so much she really didn't see the blow hit his face. She was a little busy keeping her own balance and trying not to drop the drink in her hand. She wasn't concerned about the hat. It usually managed to magically stay on all on it's own. A loud thud sounded through the little bar, followed by laughter from other patrons at the drunken display. Usually Cereza wouldn't get dizzy like that if she was prepared but being unprepared she needed to gather her bearings for a quick sec. Blinkingly she began to laugh at the whole situation whilst she was basically clung onto his side by his own doing. Once her vision wasn't so distorted she'd look at the floored guy that two others were joyfully helping up and a revelation hit her.
"Ooooh.. that's the jerk off from a few nights ago. Didn't know how to take bye as an answer. Guess he didn't learn then."
--- She glanced back at Rosett who just proved himself to be her little knight in shinning armor. Not that she really truly needed it but he didn't know that right? Naw let the man keep his ego and pride. Though if he felt the contours of her body against his he might note that she toned. Of course she could just be keeping fit for the sake of it, but really looking or even feeling no girl needed to be that tone just to keep some shape. So here she was saved by a white knight, just like Alice was in Through the looking glass. Irony on the Wonderland reference despite she isn't Alice. Rosett would feel a peck on his cheek from her lightly glossed lips before she pulled back taking a sip of her drink that managed to not spill. Yay.
"My knight of the roses. Or something like that anyways. "
--- She ended it with a chuckle and another sip this one a bit longer than before. The night was young. Hadn't even hit new years yet and it was rolling with a bang.

Steven was glad in the fortifying effect of alcohol, as the side of his face, while in pain from being hit was numb compared to how it could have felt. Steven's protective instinct of women, wasn't one of belief that they couldn't defend themselves. He knew Saya after all. No, it was one of the few traits that his father method of bringing him, up had left him with. Steven would have tried to protect anyone really, but a pretty face made taking a fist to the face a little easier to bare.
"I like the sound of that." Steven would reply to her words, looking up and downing the rest of his own drink. Not because he felt he needed it, but more to free up his other hand. Though doing so would get him a brief moment in which he could try and regain his normal composure. It was like the women was trying to make him blush, like it was some amusing game. How dark does the red rose's shade go, or something along those lines. Maybe even like the card of wonderland, painting the roses red for the queen of hearts.
Steven would turn to see what would happen to the guy after. Other patron's a little less into there beer had picked him up and dragged him off, before throwing him outside. The had all see the guy take a swing at the pair of them, and Steven react to protect the lady. The lady who had been able to get the normally quiet drinker up and dancing.
The blow to the face however was getting to Steven, and moving back into the dance so soon felt like it could effect him badly. So Steven at that point would lead her to the bar, if she was willing. Placing his glass down and ordering another. "Sit for awhile?" Steven would ask pulling a stool out for her. "The night is young, and can't let ourselves get to tired if we plan to dance all the way into the new year Hun." Steven would suggest, hoping she agreed to give him chance to get his bearing, but not without losing her company.

--- Trying to make him blush was an understatement. She was working on turning him fire engine red. Watching him squirm was entertaining thus she would continue. Teasing was a fun game to play when you had the right contestant. Cereza had a thing for toying around with individuals. She liked to poke and prod. To push and pull. Testing them out like a lab rat. She found it fascinating what some people would do with a little nudge in a certain direction. Mostly she found those rather good one's the most intriguing. The hero types always willing to be sacrificial lambs to defend someone. It was a wonder what made them tick. What made them be that way? Everyone had their own reasoning, yet it all sounded somewhat similar with different origins. At the point of the other patrons tossing the guy out The White Rabbit smirked, finishing what was left of her drink in one quick motion.
--- In that process she felt his shift and lack of dancing as they started to move towards the bar. She'd let go over him once at the bar, take a seat on the stool next to him yet facing him as oppose to the more formal. He had even pulled said stool out for her, well what a gentleman he was. There weren't many that could usually keep up with Cereza's energy once she turned it on but that wasn't to say it was the case for certain presently. Rosett did just take an angry blow to the face, anyone would need a minute to adjust afterwards especially when though he was probably prepared alcohol had played a factor. It wasn't like it probably would've been in a fight. Grey orbs looked at him and noticed the redness in his cheek and not the kind from blushing.
"Tsk, aww look at you."
--- Tone hinting at some form of playful concern as she turned his cheek towards her with a hand to his chin. From bartender she asked for a cup of ice which once placed in her hand she would place it on his cheek.
"Protecting me like some knight. Pulling a chair out for me to sit like a gentleman. Who says chivalry is completely dead? Maybe it just got all reincarnated into you."
--- Had he grabbed the ice cup from her hand she would let go with a chuckle.
"Which means you probably didn't slip anything into my drink, right? You seem too nice for that. Then again you could be playing that card really well which would mean by the end of the night I could be in trouble. Tsk tsk, what am I going to do? Oh wells."
--- This little tidbit was a reference to the fact that she had accepted a drink from a complete stranger. Didn't watch him get it from the bar. Didn't see if he had done anything to it. Club and bar rule number one, don't take drinks from strangers. Sure Cereza knew this but she lived a little dangerously not to mention it wasn't something she often did anyways. She seemed to laugh at the thought which might seem odd to most. Ok so maybe it was a lie she had three drinks before she arrived, but they didn't impair her. She wasn't at her limit and besides one was hard liquor the other two were lightweights.

Steven would her move his head with her hand, and would winch slightly from the sudden cold of the glass of ice on his cheek. He wouldn't however try to take the glass from her, the nursing response from her unexpected but not a bad one. Steven hated that people would always be surprised by his chivalrous nature. It spoke volumes about the way the world was, there was nothing wrong with being a gentleman, if only more people were the world might be a better place.
"Na my mum was a good was is all." Steven would answer, giving his mother the whole credit for the way he was. His father was also to blame to some extent but he refused to accept that fact, to himself let only to another person. The comments about how he might have slipped something into her drink would take Steven by surprise. He wouldn't even have thought about that until she had mentioned it. Though it did make him think that accepting the drink from him so easily wasn't the smartest thing. He knew he wouldn't but she couldn't of. Well maybe now so could, having to got to know him slightly. No one could play that card so well, surely.
"Any drink you get off me would be a safe one, trust me Hun. I'm more likely to walk you home instead of ravaging you anyway, if the alcohol got you there instead. Rather make a lady smile and laugh, making the first move has never been my thing." Steven would say, he was being blunt, admitting the awkward nature he had. Being confident but not in regard to hitting on women. He would rather treat them right, make them laugh and let them take the lead. However the drink was loosening him up slightly. "So have I made you laugh?" Steven would follow up his comment with a joking smirk.

--- Well then just call her Nurse Hun! Cereza would hold it there since he decided not to take it from her but she wouldn't hold it for too long. About a minute into it she'd place the glass upon the bar top hearing him give his mother the credit. Cereza really couldn't say the same. She and her mother, yeah no. She didn't even call her mom, she called her first name. To many it was a sign of disrespect and by all means it was meant to be. There really was no love. No care. No respect. Would there ever be? Could their relationship ever be fixed? Not a chance. The silent disdain passed through her mind like a drifting wind. It wasn't hard to overlook it when his words actually caused a silent surprise in her. Oh that liquid courage was kicking in for Rosett she could tell.
--- How many drinks had he downed before she got to him? The exotic brunette laughed indeed. He was sweet. He was nice. He was one of the 'goody two shoes'. 'Twas a shame really. Those were the types she like to push the most. She also like to pick their brains. Wanting to know what was their goal? Why they were this way? But the white rabbit couldn't show off her cards just yet. No always time and place. Preparation. For now she would enjoy the night and continue to play along.
"Ravage me? ..Well now Sir Rosett is that your secret thoughts peaking through a hint of trying to be chivalrous? I wonder."
--- She joked with a mischievous tone and look in her eyes. He needn't ask his question for she had laughed a few times tonight. They seemed rather genuine at that.
"Maybe with a little more assertiveness you'd have all the girls visibly swooning. "
--- Her right hand lifted towards his face again to push some of his hair away with a smile.
"Maybe try wearing your hair out a bit more. Gives you a little extra oomph."

Steven would laugh to himself at her words. "Well I wouldn't say no that for sure." Steven would admit, she was attractive and fun, but no he was actively aiming for such an outcome. As he had said he wasn't the assertive kind. Though as she said maybe a little more assertiveness would be a good, he couldn't help but agree. Just because he knew that though, didn't mean he would be so, it takes a lot to change the way you act after all.
Steven would let her push the hair aside, and smile back. His hair being down normally annoyed the hell out of him. However if it got this sort of reaction and comment he, might have to let it down more as she said. "Maybe I'll get it trimmed so it annoys me less if I do then." Steven would reply to her comment.
"Though strange that you suggest it while you seem to be hiding yours." Steven would say, having noticed that some of her her was spilling out from under her hat. Not much but enough that seemed to suggest that there way more. Though Steven would never expect just how much the hat managed to hide if she removed it.

"Not many guys would."
--- She commented back. It was the truth. But let's not be sexist about this for there were many females who were the same. Females and males weren't that different in certain categories. It was a two sided street after all. Now she mad to agree that long hair tended to be a little annoying at times. All the maintenance and all, but she did like her hair despite the fact that all of it was rarely shown. She raised a brow to his comment about her own hair. Usually everyone believed her hair was rather short because of the way it was tucked in the hat. For all many knew she could've had a version of the pixie cut with a few longer strands. But really didn't know the fountain of chocolate that would cascade down had she did decide to remove her fedora.
"Mm, well the difference is you seem to not let your hair down often if at all."
--- It was just what she had been gathering from his words early on. Her meaning was both literally and figuratively. Now she was objecting to removing her hat she just currently didn't feel like it, nor saw a reason why yet.
"Besides who says I'm hiding anything."
"ONE HOUR LEFT PEOPLE!"
--- Someone in the bar shouted at and it was met with an uproar of cheer. The little dance floor was still active since Cereza and Rosett had left it for the time being. See all it takes is one person to start and the rest will follow. The White Rabbit should be proud.

The word she said indeed rung true. Steven very rarely let his head down, in both meanings of the phrase. Was he that easy to read, or was it just because he was tipsy making it that much easier to do so. "Everyone is." Steven would say in return, talking more generally then what might be under the hat. Everyone had a few deep secrets. Though a few more drinks and he might have a few less of his.
Steven would hear the roar in response to the announcement, and look over to the dance floor. "My cousin so is not going believe someone managed to get this lot up and about." He would point out, standing from his bar stool and grabbing his drink. He would down the glass and slam it down. "I think I have another dance in me now. I'll lead." Steven would say, nodding to the barman in thanks for the iced glass from before and holding out a hand for Cereza.
Once on the dance floor he would let the next hour to new year came. Just enjoying having her in his arms and having fun with the dance. While also resisting the urge to get another drink. Unless she refused or continued to try and talk as the dance went on. The new year would slowly approach.

--- With two words he grabbed her fullest attention. He was completely right. It was something she believed in wholeheartedly herself. Everyone had something to hide. She was no exception. She didn't pretend that she was some open book, she just didn't telegraph anything. It was a talent of hers. Deception was a thing, that's all that needed to be said really. Just before the roaring response Cereza had gotten a drink herself. Rosett brought her to look at him once again when he decided to get up and offer her another dance. When he offered to lead those cherry glossed lips curled into a smirk.
"That's a start."
--- Referring to the small form of assertive nature he exhibited. Well she hadn't gotten to even sip her drink, so screw the lady like sipping. Cereza would take the drink to the head. Yip she took that sucker like a shot. She shook her head a little just as she took his hand as her hips moved to the beat all the while as he walked her over. She'd continue to allow him to lead up until a certain song came on that got her really grooving immediately.
"I love this song!"
--- .It would be the song that would take them into them into the New Years. A fitting one at that. The timing of the song would eventually have it finishing just before the new years countdown. But before that Cereza moved to the beat but let him move her if he choose. However close they were would be on his determination. She was just a girl without a care in the world right now. She was in the zone!

The dances up to the song she love would indeed be on his terms it seemed. They would have been closer then the earlier ones, having been told he should be more assertive he tried. Steven would allow her to take the reign's of the dance again when the song came on. Knowing that the new year's was about tick over Steven would have done something that he never would never normally for the drink and her prior words.
With the end of the song coming up Steven would pull back the reigns once more. Spinning her round with style by hand, leaning in and kissing the hand he held her by as the spin ended, before sweeping her and arching her back.
Then he would kiss her.
Not some long drawn out kiss but a quick one, he still had some control. Pulling back he would smirk. "Assertive enough, swooning?" He would ask if given the chance with a joking grin. It was a new years tradition after all. Those who didn't get kiss for the new year, were meant to be lonely if they didn't get one.

--- No seriously she really loved this song. She never could help herself to move and groove to it. When it was played in that movie Guardians of the Galaxy she fell all over for the song. By the way that was a really great movie. One of the best she had seen within the year. Her body rotated in a spin he had initiated and stopped as he then placed a kiss on her hand. Still the gentleman it would seem and that wasn't a bad thing. It would be any girl's dream wouldn't it? But what came after indeed took the brunette by surprise. That liquid courage kicked into overdrive with Sir Rosett. So suddenly she felt gravity taking her back, but it wasn't just a natural force. Rosett had swept her and bent her back, arching her back. Thank god she was a flexible girl otherwise that would probably be straining. Her right hand shot up to hold her hat in place, while her left held around his neck.
--- And then came the kiss. Short and quick, which was smart and trying to drag it out. Then again if he did draw it out it would be 50/50 to what the outcome would be. As she pulled back she noted the smirk and after a quick blink offered one back. That is when the up roar of the countdown was heard and they sang that traditional new years song. At his words she replied with a little modified line from that previously mentioned movie.
"Heh, so you think I'm just going to succumb to your pelvic sorcery that easily?"
--- She laughed a little. Still latched onto him until he would let go, enough not well she'd still be there.
"You gotta make your magic with a little more kick, sir. You're gonna need a strong spell to cast."

Steven would grin slightly harder at her word back to him. Some how with the way the night had gone, he had managed to reach the stage where the blushes no longer came. Even after the kiss as short and sweet as it had been. Steven couldn't remember the last time he had kiss a girl, it had been before NewYork, he knew that much at least. And for this girl to have broken his normal shell enough, to get him to the point where he would make that sort of move. Well it would be worth pursuing.
"Of course not, that wouldn't be fun." Steven would reply. He had already managed to get a kiss in why not push his luck a little more. "Though I would need a means to contact you, when I have a better spell in my repertoire ready." Steven would say looking up and over the rest of the people enjoying themselves.
Steven would then pull out his phone calmly. "Shall I call you or you call me?" Steven asked with another smirk, as if the fact one of them would be leaving with the others number at least was a forgone conclusion. Ready to either take her number down, or to list his off for her to take instead.

--- Ya know what's probably the most amusing thing about the scenario? The fact that one would think that Cereza kissing guys all the time. By appearance and well her current mannerisms she certainly came off like the type. Unless you counted kisses on the cheek then the answer would really be no. Nevertheless here she was and honestly didn't mind him sneaking in that peck. She did tell him to be a little more assertive right? Well there you go. Assertive is what she got. Honestly how could she be made at that? She really wasn't. Internally she was smirking at the display. Clearly she was breaking him free a bit regardless of the alcohol's help. He wouldn't need that encouragement if he stuck hanging with her. It made the cogs in her brain wonder how far could she pull him. Baby steps.
"Cute Mr. Potter."
--- Making a little jokingly reference to that young wizard. He still held her as he obviously cooly took out his phone to get her number or give out his. Well well look at him. She didn't have an issue with providing her number and so with a smirk she would provide a number. Yet here's the thing, what was he going to entitle it? She still hadn't given a name. Unless of course he wanted to be her in his phone as 'hun' that would be a bit odd considering they weren't in a relationship. What if someone was looking through his phone and saw it and asked?
"Ya know you sound like you're calling it a night already. What happened to the night is young?"
--- She left it with a simple wink. Besides no one said they had to stay there either she did have a car, not that he knew that of course. She could've easily taken the bus and subway.
