A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Steven would laughs at the teasing name. Before taking down her number into his phone. If she tried to see the phone as he did so she would see the name he typed to keep her under. 'Anne Catherick' It wouldn't be a reference that she was likely to get. It was a character from an old book, called 'The Women in White' Steven wasn't suggesting that she matched the character in the book, but she was the women in white in the book, and Cereza clothes and styled had made an impact on him.
"Oh not at all, just striking while the iron is hot as they say." Steven would reply, he didn't see a reason to part ways yet. He was just making sure to get the number before he either forgot, or did something that meant she wouldn't have given it to him. Steven would slide the phone back away.
"Though if we stick around here, I'll probably end up getting completely drunk, and then what sort of company would I really be. " Steven would say, he would if she did, again not wanting to part, but maybe she had some idea of what else the New year could bring.

--- She wouldn't have bothered taking a peak at his phone as she was a little occupied with shifting her hat to keep it in place. The sudden jerk back despite she managed to her a hand to hold it kinda misaligned it. Which sounded a bit funny to say when one thought about it. His words kept the smirk on her face. Did she really have him wrapped around her fingers? It surely sounded like it. He wasn't willing to part just yet and that was a good thing for them both. She had plenty of time to burn. Once she thought her headgear was fine she'd let go finally to place that free man upon his shoulder for added support.
"It might make you mush."
--- She joked about him drinking anymore than he already had. It already seemed that he was trying to keep up with what he consumed thus far. Before she spoke again her phone went off. Naturally going into her pocket she would answer it.
"Yeah? .... Happy New Year, you could've texted me that ya know.........Of course...... Happy New Year munchkin! You should be sleeping.... mmhmm you too now be good and go to bed.......Yeah I'm fine..... No... yeah yeah bye..."
--- At some point in that conversation it sounded like she was talking to a child. But without missing a beat she'd hang up keeping the phone in her hand as she wrapped her arms around his neck and motioned to be let up from her arch. With a kiss on his cheek she'd continue on.
"Come on, why don't we go for a ride? Don't worry I'm quite sober, I won't get you killed."
--- If he had allowed her to move she start the descent away from him and towards the door. Time to boogie out this joint!

Steven would let Cereza up, feeling slightly foolish for having kept her dipped down so long, and would force himself to listen in on her conversation on the phone. He would grin at the kiss on the cheek, and check his own phone. Surprised that his cousin hadn't texted, he must have been asleep, or hoping Steven would be.
"Sounds like a plan."
With that Steven would follow, his wallet coming out as he passed the bar, and placing down another $10 on the bar top for the bar man. Not sure if the $20 earlier had covered all their drinks. It was nice having somewhere that was relaxed about tabs, though it was only because of his cousin that he had that luxury.
As Steven would follow, he would cheek her out from behind before catching up to her. Still finding it hard to believe the way the night was going so far.

--- Before they would actually leave the joint completely The White Rabbit would turn around give a little salute to everyone.
"Don't stop till you drop!"
--- She could be the life of the party if she wanted to or keep it cool and laid back. Sure her line was a bit cheesy and it was totally meant to be. The lot was mostly drunk anyways so it was the best to say to get a little uproar back. Getting outside she made no notion to glance back currently and would lead him to the car. She was driving her uncle's car tonight. Her baby was taking a little breather tonight. It was funny speaking of babies, maybe the drinks had gotten to him or he didn't hear her conversation to well to note a moment in her speech. A moment where she seemingly spoke to a child. It was perfectly fine that it had been overlooked cause it meant it was something she needn't explain. Then again it was her choice if she did or didn't anyways. Near the car she would walk to the driver's side removing the keys and unlocking the door for him. She would motion with a head nod and smile for him to get it.
"Come my rose knight. Let's find some action."
--- Why there seemed to be a mischievous look in her eyes, Rosett would soon find out. Once inside she'd start the car awaiting him to get in and of course buckle up. Safety first~ The song would immediately start as her engine turned on. With a little revving she would take off, not with a screech though, but would eventually pick up a little speed as she actually starting singing the words. She actually had a nice voice, but she wasn't singing to her capabilities so that determination was still up in the air. Where they were headed who knew.
"Las manos arriba cintra sola... Da media vuelta danzo kuduro..."

Steven would whistle out load once he saw the car in which she had lead them too. That was a sweet ride, and for Steven probably the most expensive car he would have been in since he had been disowned by his father. It didn't matter though, and Steven would climb in to join Cereza. He would quickly put his seatbelt on.
With the song that came on, Steven would at first be surprised by it. Having not heard it in quite some time. It would be at that point that Steven would take her by surprise, and join in. His own voice was normally passable while in English, not amazing he wouldn't claim that, but singing the foreign word was a little hard to do. He may not have been good at singing them but his pronunciation would have been excellent.
He didn't even care where they were going. This was fun. Speed was always nice.

--- The lady in white would perk a brow and slowly stop singing with a glance to Rosett. He knew Spanish. It really shouldn't have surprised her too much as it was the language most taught in the school system. What it did was give her some pause.
~Well, good to know.~
--- One couldn't be too careful around people. This little tidbit informed her that for future references she wouldn't be able to speak one of her known languages before him and expect him not to understand. She loved how people dropped subtle hints when they didn't think they were. Maybe she had done so too, but it was a minor thing. The difference is she knew what she was doing and what she presented. She stayed in control. Being out of control was not an option. She would smile and compliment him.
"Hmm.. muy bueno Rosett."
--- When she spoke there was a sudden accent in her voice. It usually came out when she spoke Spanish or French. It made it seem all the more natural rather than forced. She chuckled as she kept a fairly decent speed, fast enough to probably get pulled over but not fast enough for a race. Everyone was more uptown so the streets were actually practically bare; shockingly. Her eyes stayed on the road with short glances to her guest.
"So..tell me who is the knight of roses?"
--- Her tone filled with some amusement as she continued driving. FYI she wasn't stopping at lights.

"Muchas gracias." Steven would say back, while he didn't have the accent to go with the words, his English accent warped around the word quite nicely as they were dropped. While Steven would notice the fact they just passed up the red light without a pause, Steven didn't care. However there was this feeling in the back of his mind, that someone was looking down on him and cringing at the very though of such an action.
"Well it depends on what you want to know. Because I'm terrible if you want me to just sum up who I am." Steven would reply, it wasn't like he had ever really needed to sum himself up before for such a question. "Though I guess what you see is what you get. Little mystery surrounds me, not like someone else I know." Steven would add teasingly, at the fact while she might know little of him, he knew less of her.

--- Admittedly she was slightly impressed that suddenly he seemed a little sobered up from before. But then again maybe he was just trying to stay in control through the night. As long as he didn't hurl in the car then whatever. It became clear she wasn't the only one speeding as a car came from the opposite way playing loud music with the windows down. A bunch of teens inside cheering loudly as the zoomed on by. Cereza would smirk and continue on the road to essentially nowhere currently. Listening to her words it brought it back to something he said earlier. Everyone had secrets. Everyone held something back. It was the truest statement of the night still yet here he was saying he was an open book. Funny how that worked it made her want to question further. True Cereza fashion she dodged his little nudge with such natural charm.
"Is that all? That hardly seems like any fun. I'm sure there's some mystery about you. After all you did say you had some thorns. How prickly are you? Or are they on reserved for the right moment?"
--- All the brunette would do is give a little side glance his way as she whipped around a corner, continuing at a fair speed through the pretty dissolute streets.

Well maybe his prior statement of having no mystery was a bit untrue. He had to admit that to himself. But how exactly to answer her was a curious question. "Well indeed I have a few thorns, but they are quite well hidden. So for the right moment, but maybe if you stick around me, you'll get to see a few more." Steven would reply and it was true enough.
He had a temper sometimes which he held down as much as he could. A over the top sense of bravery toward life, except on a very few number of exceptions. A righteous sense of morality but one that also wouldn't let him over step a certain boundaries. "If I have to say one however. Is that I may be slightly too trusting. Getting in a car, with someone I barely know, and is easily doing 100 right now." Steven would say.

"Sounds entertaining. Just don't prick me, I'll bite."
--- Amusingly she spoke with a wink in his direction. Curiosity killed the cat they say yet Cereza was living proof that one could survive. She wondered a little to herself if she could poke some thorns. Reveal some fangs from Rosett. It'd be a task but probably worth seeing it to fruition. Heroes were the interesting ones to push with their self righteous natures. She couldn't agree more with his words, it was equivalent to her taking the drink from her. But it wasn't about trust on her part.
"Gotta live on the dangerous side sometimes.. We have all the best things. And I've barely broken 85 yet. "
--- Playfully rolling her eyes like 'oh my god geez'. Yet she'd glance at him and back to the road, cause she wasn't those cutesy drivers that pretended they didn't need to see the road ahead.
"I guess I can agree with that trusting issue. I mean you have no idea where I could be taking you. How do you know I'm not some black widow? Liquor you up some more, take you to a nice hotel or abandon building and have a little fun with you all over the room before... WHACK! "
--- In the midst of her describing what she would do her voice dropped to a sultry tone. Maybe it would give him an image before she destroyed it with the. Playfully at finally word she would swerve the car but still in perfect control just to give him a mini heart attack before driving properly again chuckling.

Steven would laugh, at the playful comments, well it wasn't like he had looked over at the speedo to see how fast they were going, and human's didn't have the greatest default sense of speed. Obviously those that drove fast a lot probably had a better sense then he did for speed. He was much more use to the speed of the power of his own legs. The last comments out of her mouth would indeed at first make his imagination work, before smashing it down. However there was something to say, while untrue was fair to easy of a line to use, to be passed up on. Steven wouldn't even care when she swung the car into a brief swerve as they spoke. He had been watching her, not the road and as such could see the purposeful nature of the movement.
"Hey, you don't know I might like that sort of thing. People tastes run in all directions after all" Steven would say before bursting out laughing, unable to keep a straight face as he said it. Making it obvious that his taste did not run that way. "Plus I can look after myself." Steven would add on, once he had managed to stop himself from laughing.
"Though the same applies to you, how do you know I'm not some sociopath. Who like most of them is extremely charismatic and capable of putting people at ease." Steven would say flipping the comment back on her. Just because they were in her car, didn't mean she would have been safe if it was someone other then himself. "Ahh whatever, does it matter." Steven would then say, he didn't feel ill at ease, so why should she. He was as he would have come off across most of the night, a gentleman after all.

--- She didn't even get a little jolt out of him with the swerve? Well that liquid courage turned into liquid bravery. True it was a slight disappointment that didn't manage to scare him a little but it still proved to be something to laugh at. And chuckle a little she did, shaking her head in the process. That burst of laughter indicated to her that he was certainly letting himself go. Or at least she assumed. To her she felt this might've been the first time he just 'let it go'. Maybe he 'couldn't hold it back anymore'. It would be nice if more people just 'let it go'. Sometimes you just gotta 'turn away and slam the door'. Sometimes you just gotta not 'care what they're going to say'and 'let the storm rage on'. Can't let the cold bother you anyways.
--- He was within his rights to throw it back at her. After all she already made a reference back at the bar why not continue entertaining that thought. Just as he could take care of himself, Cereza wasn't a weakling and was capable of taking care of herself just as much as the next. She snickered at the whole idea and the fact he really thought she felt at ease. Cereza was cautious around everyone. It was fine however because she liked giving off false information. She liked giving off false security. All of made any betrayal as they might think of it all the more devastating because they hadn't seen it coming. Depends what you call betraying really. Naturally she slowed a little yet still speeding around as she went into the compartment in between their seats and pulled out her double edged knife but kept it closed at first.
"Trust me I'm not concerned. You're not the only one that can take care of themselves."
--- At that she would open the knife letting the blades flip out and set in place.
"If they wanna keep their balls they'll back off."

Steven would raise a curious eyebrow as the car slowed and she reached into a compartment of the car. Wondering what exactly she was reaching for. At first he had no idea what it was. The strange black handle with the blade unextended didn't seem like anything he had seen before. However with a declaration of being able to look after herself Steven would see her do something with the object in hand. There was a scraping of metal and a dull glint of it as Steven eyes looked at it.
It with was with an sudden realization of what she was holding, that Steven would jerk away pressing him into the door on his side of the car. Trying to keep away from it. The fear on his face would be obvious, beyong what she probably would have expect for some getting a knife out. It wasn't as she had made movement to use it. Even so Steven would try to keep away from it.
"Put it away." Steven would demand, in a shaky voice. "Please." He would plead. His mind was full of possible reasons she had the knife, from simple self protection to those more dark. It was a turning point in there meeting. He liked her she was fun, and he wouldn't deny attractive. It wouldn't be until she had put it away however that he would sag back into his seat with a heavy sigh. Why did the first girl he end up getting attracted to, have to be one that carried one of thing he feared more then any other.

--- Normally she could understand one's reaction to a knife had she a more intimidating motion with it. All she had done was simply take it out and open the thing. It was an intimidating knife being doubled edged and all but his reaction was priceless. For argument sake she slowed because he was distracting her from the road. She couldn't help but look at him with a perked brow watching him cower in the corner as he did. If she didn't know any better she'd swear if he could he'd crawl his way out through the glass. So he had a fear a knives. A deathly one that. Mental note taken for sure. Oh the temptation to torture the poor guy by waving it about was gnawing at her, but she'd be the nice girl tonight and close it; returning it to the compartment in between.
"It's gone. Need some fresh air?"
--- She'd roll down his window for him and let some air hit him. Poor thing seemed so pale. She also didn't want him suddenly feel the urge to throw up. But if he did she was driving slow enough for a quick stop. Don't underestimate her being above literally kicking him out so he doesn't do it in the car. A moment or two who pass by with her side eyeing him in silence before breaking it.
"Sooo... knives huh."

Once the knife was gone, and the window was opened, Steven would turn his head to the onrushing cool air and take a few deep breaths. Doing something he probably shouldn't he unbuckled his seat belt and pulled it aside. The strap of material felt extremely restricting right now, and he needed that feeling to be gone in order to calm down. Steven mind would travel back in time in response to Cereza's curious comment about knives.
---
It was dark and he couldn't see, only half conscious to the world around him. His body was in pain all over, his arm broken, his body bleeding and bruised. The low chuckle and snide comments, along the lines of 'Serves you right.' and 'This is what happen when you mess with us.' were quiet in his ears. Not because that they were actually small sounds, but more because his brain couldn't seem to register them properly.
Then there was more pain, and weight upon his body. In the small of his back, what he could only assume was a knee. Someone was literally kneeling on his back. Steven felt his clothes being roughly torn. Cool air flushing along his back, in almost a pleasant fashion, followed by the scraping along his back of something even colder and then it was gone drawn away.
He didn't even get to feel the cold again, as sudden agony blooming the back of his shoulder blade. It in purposely slow and tearing, more then slashing nature that blade cut all the way across his back. From his shoulder down his back on the opposite side. The thunk of the blade popping out on the trip down as if failed to cut through the bone of his spine. The blade was remove, the wait lifted and then there was just him, on the floor dying.
---
The memories faded, his back burned and he knew it was all in his mind, but even so it still hurt. "Yeah." Steven would reply simple, at first going to just leave it at that and not say much more about it. However he didn't want Cereza to think that she had done something bad, by pulling the knife out. Reaching up he would wipe his face with both hands, still breathing heavily. He would finally sit back up straight and turn to look over to Cereza.
"I almost died. Around half a year ago. I...I did something that pissed off people at my old school." Steven would start explaining. "and well I got a beating for it. That would have been fine. But one guy, one of the pillars at my old school. Well he took it too far. Practically tried to cut me in half. I was in hospital for months." Steven would finish explaining and sigh, his eye would dart to the compartment where he now knew the knife was before darting away again.
"I had only just healed, when my dad disowned me. Kicked me out, and left me to fend for myself. I probably would still be fucked if not for my cousin tracking me down." Steven would add, he was talking at this point, quickly trying to just give his mind some outlet to let the fear settle away. "I've...I've just not dealt yet, don't know if I ever will to be honest." Steven would say as if he was trying to justify himself. He hated being scared, it wasn't a feeling he was use to. Knives were easily the biggest cause of it.
