Valentine is a dull young man. He spends his time studying and taking pictures as a hobby. He likes to day dream and sleep. He doesn't care much for violence or chaos. In fact, he would rather be stuck in a snowed in cabin by himself just to have peace and quiet than actually get a real job. His parents wont allow that so he attends school and plans to be a lawyer or a doctor. Something to make him money.

He conforms to the norm of his urges of laziness with ease. He keeps to himself and reserved about just everything. He is obviously introvert, doesn't care about the way he looks...in fact he just wears whats comfortable...but has a deep yearning to be clean. He is malicious in the things he does fine interesting; photography and reading. He can spends days upon days just doing the most remedial things if he enjoys it.

Fighting Style:

Strengths:

Purposeful Ignorance; his ability to ignore the world around him astonishes even the most experienced of slackers. He can be paying attention one minute and then next, nothing. Its like a person turned into a park bench within a blink of an eye.
Patience; Unrivaled in the art of waiting, Valentine would rather be waiting in line at the DMV than playing football or interacting in clubs of any sorts. He can stand for days and be in deep thought of the pictures he took one day or the memories of his childhood ever so wasted.

Weaknesses:

Laziness; Valentine is the laziest person alive. He would rather sleep in a car than it mean he sleep in his bed. Do you know why? Because those last few yards from the garage door, up the stairs and into his bed would just be so exhausting that he might actually fall asleep doing it. Yes, there has been multiple occasions of him falling asleep on the bus and missing his stop.

History:

Childhood - Valentine was born in america to his japanese mother and british father. He grew up in london on a small Cul-de-sac where almost nothing ever happened. He was homeschooled until he was old enough realize he had no friends. He quickly accepted his fate considering he loved books more than anything. He would read and read and read until the words slowly began to dance off the pages and his imagination ran wild with the pictures of the old books that he so desperately cleaved.
Teenager - Valentine found himself moving from country to country with his fathers promotion. He was a british diplomat. He was never stationed in one place of more than a few months at a time. One christmas, his father was home for the holidays and he got Valentine a vintage canon camera. He covered the basement into a dark room and explained to Kokuran that china was gonna be there home for a few years.

Training Years - While Valentine was there, he traveled around the country taking pictures and only using the darkroom on his favorites. One day, he found himself near a shoaling monk temple with his camera. He found the place to be exciting, something he handy really ever felt. He wanted to get a closer look. He scaled the wall and fell right over. A few of the monks were frightened and started at the boy but one of the older monks stopped them and took the boy back home. He explained to his parents what Kokuran had done and they were angry until the old man told them that he could train to be a monk for as long has he was here in china.

Present - Valentine moved from china after almost eight years of being there. He thought he would live there forever until his dad got a promotion at the United Nations and he moved to New York City. He refused to enroll into any school his parents told him about. He decided to pick one for himself. He had always been a responsible teenager so they trusted his judgement. They were wrong to do so. Valentine picked this academy thinking that everyone would be so consumed with there fighting that they wouldn't look at him twice. He would skate on by just another wall flower.

Other:

He is an old soul.
He prefers the bitter taste of black coffee.
He has a palette of a head chefs at michelin starred restaurant.
He never leaves anywhere with out his backpack and camera.
He has glasses and contacts, but wears glasses because he can't be bothered to put in the contacts.
