A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Once again, Xaier's lunch had been destroyed mercilessly in a matter of seconds as he moved through the hall. He knew if that he got to the gym, he would have about thirty minutes to kill. That meant he could get a work out done before his next class. Xaier didn't go to the gym too often, he was more of a runner. But a light weight work out would do him good. At least that was what he planned on anyways.
Eventually the silver haired boy would make it to the school gym. Upon entering those emerald eyes would search about. It seemed to be empty, which would be perfect in his eyes. Moving into the room, the sophomore made his way to the light weights, tossing his backpack off to the side as he reached for two ten pound hand weights.
Xaier didn't feel the need to start off heavy. He would be using them while practicing his techniques. Today would be hand work, Xaier was confident with his legs, but his hands he knew could use improvement. He would begin to shadow box, basic boxing techniques and Tae-Kwon-Do strikes. Switching back and fourth, mixing them together and throwing a few kicks from time to time.
The young male was quite focused, lost within his training. He didn't hear the sound of the door nearby reopening. Xaier simply continued his work out.

Levi entered the school's gym, a place he had grown a fondness for in the short time he had been there, quickly noting the silver haired student who had not noticed him coming in. Only one other person was in the gym with him so there would be plenty of room for the two of them to work out without getting in each other's way. Levi swiftly moved to a open part of the gym and set up a standing sandbag, one that would not swing when struck and could take a beating all the same. He glanced over at the only other person in the gym and smiled in approval, Weighted training, no better way to train.
Levi then sat down, opened his duffel bag, removed and put on a pair of weighted gloves and shin wraps, the proceeded to begin working a series of kick and strike drills, alternating forms and styles while keeping a consistent rhythm as his kiais could be heard echoing off of the gym walls.

From one fluid motion to the next, Xaier was in his own world. It seemed like he had done this a million times before. Probably because he had kept the same routine whenever he worked out. Albeit this one geared toward working his fist strikes. However his focus would soon be torn away as he heard the sounds from the other side of the gym.
His body would loosen as he stopped the form work, and turned to inspect the sounds. He would catch another student who seemed to have snuck in while Xaier was doing his business. Those emerald eyes would watch him for a brief moment before he would return the weight to the rack. A small smile formed on his lips. Someone else wanted to train and it just so happened that Xaier was itching to practice on a moving target.
"Hey dude. Want to go a few rounds? For fun."
Xaier's words were gave with a smile as those emerald hues stared toward the other boy. If he declined, Xaier would simply shrug and return to what he was doing. Xaier's hands would work to remove the jacket he wore. He had been so intent on training he forgot to take it off. A simple white button-up t-shirt revealed as he tossed the jacket toward his bag.

Levi stopped mid-kick, leg still still cocked and ready to fire at the training bag as he heard the man's proposal. Levi let the kick fly and snap into the bag with a louder than normal kiai before relaxing and turning to face the silver haired student who was now removing his jacket as if he had known Levi would never turn down the opportunity to spar with a living, thinking, moving target. Levi gave a friendly smile as he wiped a bead of sweat from his brow and slugged the training bag as he spoke, "Of course, a sparring partner beats this thing any day." It was true, the lessons that could be learned from an hour with a sparring partner far eclipsed the benefit of striking a non-moving target, assuming the skill-levels were close enough.
Levi turned and unfastened his weighted gear, placing it back into his bag as he glanced back, "I have pads if you would prefer to use them, though I have no problem with going full contact if you're fine with it." In fact, full contact was Levi's preference, but it would be valuable training regardless and it would be against someone that he hoped was closer to his skill level as his grandfather often made the lessons more painful than he cared to admit.

"No pads.. No pain, no gain right? I say we keep it friendly. No low blows, no broken bones. All else goes."
Xaier would give a little laugh after he spoke, his right hand finding the back of his head during the exchange of words. The other kid was bigger, but no fear would seem present upon the silver haired one's face. Size meant very little to him. It only meant work a little harder.
"Let's go!"
He would not take a stance though. As soon as he felt his new practice buddy was ready, Xaier would make his opening move. A few quick steps would clear the distance between the two. Each step seeming to propel himself in zig-zag motion.
His final step would be upon his left foot, off toward Levi's right. His knee would bend and Xaier would spring off it, lifting his right leg up before he thrust it heel first toward the right side of Levi's midsection. Xaier was unaware of much that this one could do, so he would just have to dive right in.

Levi smiled, "Indeed." He stood up, walked away from his bag and turned to face his new sparring partner. He took a ready stance, looking at the man expectantly with both hands open and in front with his legs bent slightly. As soon as he took this position, the man charged forward at surprising speed and with impressive agility. This man was nothing like the brute he had thwarted on his first day.
Levi followed the man's movements, managing to notice the leap attack coming. Even though he had noticed the attack coming, a counter-attack was not going to be easy as Levi was still adjusting to the silver haired fighter's pace. For now, he would simply defend and return attacks to the best of his ability. Levi quickly turned his body away from the strike and sent out a palm strike aimed for the man's left cheekbone as the kick brushed his ribs.

Xaier's kick would connect, but Xaier would receive a sharp palm to the left check as well. The only reaction he made in time was to shift his head slightly so that the palm rolled off as well. It seemed he had decent reflexes at least, and the blow held strength as well. However the palm would barely phase him as his next plan would be set into motion.
The right leg he initially attacked with would drop back to the ground as he shifted his weight upon it and his left hand would look to lift and look to slip under and over Levi's extended arm and shoulder to try and deliver a sharp right hook.
If it it landed, Xaier's left hand would shift downward and he would attempt to grasp his opponent's right bicep as his hips torqued, sending his left leg low in attempt to collide with the right side of Levi's knee.
At best, he hoped to sweep him off his feet, at least he hoped to knock him off-balance while his right hand hovered, finger's wide anticipating return fire.

nice... The hook was swift, but he wasn't helpless. Levi turned his face with the blow as much as he could as it connected, softening the blow somewhat and stopping the punch from jarring his head too much. The pain was certainly there, but it wasn't something he couldn't deal with at this point.
As soon as Xaier's hand grabbed his bicep, Levi looked down and knew what was coming next. oh no you don't! He quickly sent a swift kick to intercept Xaier's leg, his heel colliding with the man's shin. the damage would be minimal, but it would stop the kick and give him a chance to strike back as he retracted his foot and quickly snapped it right back out, aiming for his opponent's ribs with a snap-kick.

Xaier would feel Levi's foot hit his shin, effectively stopping his strike with a sting. However he had managed to grab his arm. His dropped slightly to see the leg retract. He knew he if tried to avoid damage, he could lose a valuable chance to deal damage himself. Xaier would chose to sacrifice his right forearm in preparation for his next attack.
That right arm which had been hovering would zip across his midsection and look to place his forearm between the blow and his body. Those green eyes would squint slightly from the pain, however his hand would grasp at the leg looking to grab a hold.
If all went well, he would have to worry about his arm afterwards. His grasp on Levi's bicep and leg would be yank in opposite directions, looking to effectively turn Levi's body into a horizontal position in the air. Xaier's hands would release and the silver haired sophomore would snap his right leg out in attempt to thrust a kick into his midsection and send him away.

Not good! His opponent thought on his feet and was good at turning any situation into an advantageous one, not unlike himself. Levi braced himself as he was pulled horizontal, keeping his eyes on the man's legs. Sure enough, a kick. Levi put a cross guard between his midsection and the kick, "ugh!" the back of Levi forearm stung as he flew back, landing a 7 or 8 feet away, rolling a few times and stopping on his back.
Levi was all grins as he quickly kipped up, "Nice move." He shook out his now probably bruised forearm, having the time of his life. Not that his grandfather would disapprove of a friendly sparring match, but since he had gotten there, the only people that wanted to fight him were big, dumb brutes or simply ignored him. It was nice to have someone to train with that was not his teacher.
okay...next move... Levi took into sprint and looked as if he might not stop in time to avoid running head on into his opponent. Just before entering melee range, Levi made a short hop that was almost all vertical, stopping the majority of his momentum as he quickly shot a quick left jumping front kick towards the man's chest. This kick would have some decent power, but it was merely a feint as his other leg would be send another kick in quick succession targeted at the same place.

Xaier could not physically stop himself from fist pumping as his opponent flew away from him. It hadn't landed as flush as he had hoped, but it had gotten the job done just find. Those emerald hues had locked upon the male as he tumbled away. When he came to a stop, Xaier would pull his head back in the game.
"Thanks! I'm sure you've got your fair share as well!"
Xaier's words finished briefly before Levi came i to range. Xaier wasn't sure what to expect, so he would keep stance as Levi made his move. The first kick that came would be avoided, as the emerald eyed boy rocked his upper-body and head backwards out of range. Unfortunately though the boy was not expecting the feint. Levi's other leg snapped out and it would catch Xaier just above his forehead as he straightened up.
Like.. THAT!
His head would move backwards from the force of the kick and Xaier would allow gravity to take hold. His arms would snap over his head as Xaier turned his fall into a back hand spring. His feet would be pulled upward and over. While it had mainly been to allow himself to catch his fall and gain some distanced, it was an attack in the form of a recovery.
Xaier's legs would lift upward and over as he tried to clip the under side of Levi's expected leg. With luck it would send him spinning as gravity took hold to bring him back to ground level. Xaier was hoping for him to land on his back or shoulders. Not his head. This was just for fun, after all.

Success! Opening moves often involved the most risk, and though his attack had succeeded, it was not without some consequence. The man’s leg caught the rear underside of Levi’s heel as the first leg retracted from the kick, sending Levi backwards. Fortunately, Levi’s weight advantage and what little forward momentum he had retained kept the effect of the kick to a controllable level. Levi’s hands shot up as he became vertical, landing and springing him backwards, completing the rotation as he landed on his feet.
Levi was sweating more freely now and his breaths were becoming deeper. It would be a while before he was out of breath, but his opponent’s speed was difficult to keep up with and fighting at this pace was something Levi was unaccustomed to. He was definitely having to push himself to keep up. Levi chuckled as he took a solid ready stance, Whew, can’t get away with anything can I? Levi would wait in this position a focus on slowing his breathing to get back a little bit of stamina. He was learning a lot and having a great time, he didn’t want to have to stop yet.

Xaier would spend a second or two to rub at his forehead area. Had he been paying closer attention, he may have been able to avoid it. But he did not. All was well though, bruise or two himself would not kill him. He would allow Levi a few moments to breath, as he took that time himself.
"Get reaady!"
But it would not last very long. The emerald hues once again locked upon Levi and the sophomore took off toward him again. Similar motions from before, as each step propelled him the opposite direction. Zig-zagging his way back to Levi, Off to his right this time on his final step.
His right arm would shoot out in attempt to land a stiff right cross as he looked to target the right side of his sparring partner's head. He couldn't stick to just kicks. He knew this one seemed well trained enough. He would have to keep him guessing.

Levi was indeed ready as he watched the silver haired man carefully as he approached. His knowledge of Aikido, and for that matter, a lot of what he knew worked better when he could be reactive. This made the fact that his opponent chose to approach all that much better for him given his disadvantage in speed.
He brought his guard up into a boxing stance, staying light on his feet as he waited patiently, raising his right arm to intercept the hook. Just as the punch sank into his arm, he stepped forward as he turned, launching a fierce left cross towards the man’s face, ignoring the sting that a bare fist causes no matter how well you block a punch.

Levi's punch would connect and Xaier would allow his head to roll to the side with it. The silver haired boy's body would pull around to utilize that other boy's strike to his advantage. Torquing his body around with the spin, his already extended right arm would whip around.
The spinning back fist looked to collide with the side of Levi's head. If it connected, his left leg was following around with it sweeping low in attempt to shin kick his legs out from under him once again.
If he was airborne, Xaier's left leg would stomp his foot down into the ground as he thrust off his right, looking to slam that left side into Levi's body to knock him away once again. It was a rapid series of movements.
Xaier rather enjoyed attempting combos when he thought he could pull them off. However he knew that at any point something could not happen as intended, Levi didn't seem helpless but it seemed Xaier had the advantage in speed her. It would depend ultimately on Levi's reactions.
