Appearance: Daniel is a rather shoddy, unkempt individual: more so clothing-wise than anything else. As such, he will adhere to any uniform he is given...however that does not mean he will make a conscious effort to keep his appearance well managed. Whether it's leaving buttons undone or loosening the tie, the teenager often finds a way to unconsciously defile the standard. He wears the accustomed blue that he received specifically for the school, which is only slight in contrast to his previous black and scarlet attire at his previous institution. No extra time is put into any accessories either...besides a plain, silver watch that resides on his left wrist.

A rather firmed wrist at that, Danny is wiry in his appearance. Not boasting any abundant muscular size, he does carry definition that can be seen along his arms, legs, and abdomen. All of which are smooth to the touch, without hair or even more unusual: scarring. The only fine threadlike strands can be found on the top or front of his head, making lengthened hair and a decent stubble the norm for this student. Tattoos and piercings only attract attention, so those too were not added to his meager appearance. Which in the end, left a firm jawline and pointed chin to add contrast to his supposedly 'handsome' features.

Personality: Naps, Women, and Vengeance: the three things no man can live without. Such a statement is true for Danny as well if not more so, considering his affinity for napping is borderline insatiable if anything. A lackadaisical child even as a teenager, he can't help but come under the desire to relax. It is an inane instinct, one that is easily controlled but one that ever itches at the back of his mind. A thought that, even in battle, can arise without premeditation. The high level of contented behavior and his calm approach to problems can often be accredited to his numerous hours he spends sleeping throughout the day.

Women are another vital aspect that define his attitude as well as his outlook. However their impact is not similar to what most would assume. Most females Danny has had the pleasure of meeting were often kind or in some way "pure" in comparison. Of course he knew that no such thing was true, but he would admit that this was instinct also. They bring out the sympathetic side that most believed to be nonexistent. At times, it made him happy to be able to share such valuable thoughts and virtues with others...because of that he is...soft to them. Even in knowing the school he was to attend, the boy had already vowed that no girl would fall to his fist. Not to say he was going to have the chance...most of the women there were probably tougher than he was by now. Regardless it was a promise, one that would be painstakingly kept...if only because of the confidence that they had provided him.

As you may have guessed, Vengeance is also amplified for the teenager...to higher extent. So much so that even disturbing his peaceful slumber is considered cause for restitution in some way. He will often go out of his way to receive what he deserves...unless of course it falls under a weakness of his...such as the one stated in the previous paragraph. Past trauma is actually the cause for such violent tendencies towards people who wrong him. Of course the story is classic but that is only because it happens so often....

Fighting Style: A popular style that Danny has adopted usually involves taking punches...a lot of them. He believes that lulling opponents into over confidence can provide the exact moment he needs to deliver that one haymaker or sweeping kick. The philosophy behind such a strategy is to cripple your opponent before they can see how you actually fight. It leaves much to the imagination and will likely leave them defenseless when it comes, especially if they're in the middle of a swing. It isn't always so easy but for added effect Danny does wind his watch into the palm of his hand, hoping the metal will give him a bit of extra leverage. Otherwise, he tries to be intelligent with his maneuvers and attempts avoiding harsh blows where he can.

Strengths:

Constitution: Both his fighting style and need for vengeance lead him into fights that sometimes he simply can't win. So punches come often and after awhile he he grew a well equipped body for the sole purpose of taking such bruises. As such, if you are moderately strong it will likely take a few well placed blows to bring Danny to his knees.

Intelligence: Despite the fact Danny skips class frequently due to spontaneous unconsciousness, the teen does take the time on his own to further his studies. Not to say he is a model student but perhaps he would be of the teachers weren't so afraid to wake him...which likely won't be the case at this new school.

Well-Rested: Due to innumerable hours spent resting, one could likely assume that Danny is functioning fully and actively when he is awake. Therefore, sleep deprivation or stress would likely not be problematic for the teen.

Weaknesses:

Temper: Uncontrollable and downright nasty would be the best words to describe the amount of restraint Danny has. Though it is difficult to work him up, once you do it is almost impossible to get him to simmer down without breaking something in some way. This has provided him numerous problems on several fronts but one of the few offenses that anger him the most is a forceful awakening.

Power: As stated above, muscle mass is not a factor that Danny can put into play. This leads to average punches and reliability on his knowledge of the body to make crippling blows. Not to say they always are but he does have the assistance of his watch. (I only plan that this be for show and whatever stats he has for strength will basically include this item, unless of course it can eventually be made into an item that does carry stats. Don't know and don't plan on getting such a thing for awhile but I just thought I'd mention!)

Feminine Persuasion: One of the few things that can curb his rage...or logic for that matter is feminine persuasion. Such sympathy can even lead to making bad decisions at times, which is why such a trait is a weakness.

History: Not much can be said about Daniel's origins besides saying he lived a normal life. Friends were normal, family was normal, anything unusual about him come in his early teenage years. The first such occurrence was his mother's death, cancer related to be more specific. A hard time in the boy's life that he just...slept away. In a sense his dependency on napping came from the hours he spent trying to forget. His father tried to compensate of course, coming from a wealthier family as they did. Toys were bought and so were books...but nothing quite satisfied like sleep. You didn't have to think, resolve problems, or talk to other sympathetic individuals. It was just bliss.

In the end he moved on and shared what feelings he had with girls in his class. They were accepting as any person was, but unknown to Danny...most cared because he was handsome. Some actually felt sorry but to Danny they all were in some way. More importantly...something had been taken from him. No matter how hard he tried he'd never get her back...nor would he get vengeance on the one who took her. His wish has been left unfulfilled and it has changed him completely. It made him violent, so much so that he could no longer attend a regular school. He had to relocate to a special project they had in New York. Away from his usual abode in Virginia, the trip wasn't far to his new school. Nor was housing a problem, considering he had inheritance to go off of. A nice apartment near campus was supposedly his best bet...the only worry he had was with the other students.
