A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

A blond teen strolls down the street at a leisurely pace. His posture straightens after a moment of slouching, his shoulders rotate, trying to adjust the unfamiliar weight of his backpack. Did he actually need books for where he was going? He gently yanks at his yellow bandana wrapped around his neck, nervously shifting it back and forth until it felt comfortable. His reputation didn't mean anything yet. Not at this school.
The school just up this bend had nasty rumors surrounding it, half the stories make it seem like some kind of slaughter house, where the students struggled to make it home every day and the teachers and gangs plot to destroy you behind your back. The other half paint the school as a fight club heaven, a place to evolve your skills and meet like minded individuals on that path.
Kida prayed to every god he knew on the hope that the school was actually closer to the fight club rumors in reality. He could use an environment that pushed his limits, he didn't want to be caught off guard any longer when it came to fighting. There was just to much at stake now. Maybe he could recruit some of the stronger students too, but the idea of recruiting a member just to fight made him feel....Gross.
He sighs as he readjusts his scarf one more time. Dark memories linger in his minds eye for a second longer, before they vanish. He didn't have time to think about stuff like that right now. As the schools gate reaches his eyes horizon Kida quickly slaps himself in the face twice with both hands, a smile slowly edges it way through his lips.
"Come on, be happy! Its High school! Only happens once am I right?"
That's right. no matter what, even if the school was a bust he could at least enjoy it for what it was, his last step towards "adulthood", and his last chance at being a kid. With a new found cheer Kida began a brisk jog towards his new school. When he finally makes it to the entrance he stops and stares at the landscape that is PHS #552. He is so immersed at the sight of it he ends up spacing out in front of the school gate.

The stroll to school was a normal one for Steven. A book in hand, and the winter wind annoying him as it whipped his hair around more then he liked. It was so annoying sometimes, but nevertheless he refused to cut it. It had taken long enough to grow, that lopping it off felt wrong. Even if he did just leave it tied up all the time.
Turning the corner, Steven would see the gates of the school up ahead over the edge of his book. Out of the sides of his vision, he would see other students on there way to school. Some alone, others together and talking. It had always been found odd by Steven, that the trip to school seemed okay by the schools standard. Either because people didn't want to be late and stop for to long, or those that didn't care about being late, the normal trouble makers and their kind. Well they would lag behind those that they would normally pray on, unless they were purposely going out of there way to be dicks.
As Steven walked up to the gates about to go about his school day. He would notice once more out of the side of his vision something. A blond hair kid, obviously student, due to being here. Standing there seemingly staring up at the school, fixated. Not even caring as other students changed there paths to walk around him.
"You alright?"
Steven would halt, take side step so that he wouldn't block any more of the path into the school and turn to face the blond. Lowering his book as he did so. Steven would take in the boys appearance, shorter then him by quite a bit, and pretty young looking. Steven assumed that he must be in one of the lower years.
"You may have awhile till the bell rings, but if you just stand there you'll miss it."

Hearing another voice address him made Kida snap out of his daze. How long had he been standing here? He quickly looked around, noticing students flowing past him and the stranger that called out to him. A flash of embarrassment comes across his face as he realizes he had no idea when any of these students even arrived. Talk about zoning out. He doesn't let it show for long though, have a reputation to uphold after all.
"Yea I'm fine! Just guess I got caught up in the emotion of it you know?"
A quick twirl and flourish, Kida smiles as he finishes his weird pose fingers crossed above his head.
"This is it! High School! The place we all dreamed about growing up!"
Kida twirls the opposite direction, assuming a normal pose with one hand cradling his chin, as if he was in deep thought.
"All those questions we had...Like, whats it like having your own locker? Or, whats it like to be bullied in the cafeteria while everyone watches? What do you do when your bully demands lunch money you don't have, and how do you deal with the love triangles!?"
At the end of his flourish he ends with a single finger pointing at the older student.
"In other words, there is a lot to think about! This is gonna be a crazy four years for me hahahaha."
After a few moments stuck in that pose, laughing in a hoarse manor Kida remembers where he is standing and finally takes the older students(or he assumes god he is tall) advice to move out of the others path. He quickly moves to his left and out of the other students way. After a brief pause he holds his hand out and boisterously greets.
"My name is Kida, I'm a freshman. Nice to meet you."

Steven would be taken aback slightly at how quickly the kid came out of his spaced out state, in what Steven would call a burst of talkative energy. Firing off questions about what school life was like, seemingly more to the world, then Steven himself.
Following him as he stepped aside, Steven would take his hand when offered and shake it. "Rosett, Senior." Steven would reply, introducing himself, and letting the other kid know that he was an older student, even though it would have been obvious from his stature.
"Though I have to admit, haven't heard someone actually wonder what being bullied is like before." Steven would then actually go in to answering the questions. "Locker are just a storage space nothing special. Getting bullied hurts, and if you don't have the money well leg it. As for the love triangle one. Well you'd have to ask someone a lot smoother then I." It was just his point of view, Kida would certainly find his own answers instead of the crappy ones Steven gave.

Kida's smile grew wider and wider as Steven answered each of questions. He didn't sound like he was mocking him, he was honestly just trying to be helpful. It was rare to meet people like this, and who would have thought he would meet one here, at this crazy school. After hearing Steven dismiss his game with the ladies Kida gives a light chuckle.
"I'm sure your just fine Senpai. I bet all the girls flock to you! You pull of that stern yet mysterious look, like a substitute teacher. That's like a magnet for all those tragic schoolgirl types out there!"
Kida looks around quickly and conspiratly leans closer to Steven, attempting a faux whisper conversation.
"I actually didn't want to ask anyone this, but you seem like a pretty cool guy." He coughs nervously for a second before he continues. "Do you know if this school is some kind of death game where students have to fight to leave everyday?"
Kida shivers in fear at the prospect, not even wanting to know what he would do if Steven said yes.
"I have heard some crazy rumors surrounding this place. Since you seem down to earth Senpai I thought you might give me the lowdown of the school. I mean, I get if its tough, but some of the things I heard make it sound like some kind of prison."
He would stick through it no matter what, even if the place turned out to be some crazy government trap. But he would like to at least have some fair warning first. After all, what if he had to beat down on Steven later? That would suck! Looking at his taller figure though, Kida began to think it might be the other way around, after all he is a senior...

Steven would listen without speaking picking up on more then the questions. Word selection, quirks of speech and other things of it's kind. It would start to form a picture in his mind what this kid was like. Getting what he could only assume was a reference to a manga, as well as the novel it was based on. A story that had recently been retold as it were, by a western writer. Intentional or not, in 'The Hunger Games' series, well at least the starts of it.
"I like that." Steven said to his first word, the substitute teacher line, seeming to have a nice ring to it. Being a teacher after all, had been something he had considered. "But there must be a short supply of tragic school girls out there Kida. Becuase I have attracted none of the sort." Steven would joke, though it was true.
"As for the rumour, well some are, some are not. This is not 'Battle Royale' however. A lot more violence, but a lot less death." Steven however the comparisons to some extent were disturbing. "Also, if you keep calling me Senpai. I'm calling you Kouhai, or we could just call each other by name. Japanese is a cool language, but honorific are outdated." Steven would tell the freshman.

Kida chuckled in a good mannered way as Steven dismissed the presence of the tragic schoolgirl type at this school. As he looked around at the varying student body, he couldn't help but agree with that assessment, at least at first glance. Everyone here looked intimidating or odd in some way, but hardly anyone looked overcome with the teen melodrama that often plagued his favorite manga characters.
As conversation turned towards the rumors Kida couldn't help but sigh in relief. He could deal with violence. Fighting could be fun in the right situation, killing though, was still something he wished to avoid doing as often as possible. He doesn't focus on this thought long as Steven lectures him about honorifics, making him burst out into laughter that shakes his whole body. This guy was fun! He seemed to get Kida's jokes, and even shot back with surprising wit when he could. Kida's eyes briefly scan Steven once over again, as if trying to memorize him. He seems like a good prospective recruit, but Kida didn't want to be to hasty.
"Sorry Rosett! I hope your not to angry with your poor Kouhai."A breif pause as Kida poses, one hand positioned above his forehead, as if shielding his face in shame. "He only wishes to make a good impression with his cool older student friend by making obscure Japanese puns, but you saw right through it with your amazing upperclassman powers!"
A fake sob makes it through his speech causing an interlude as he quickly bows toward Steven.
"Forgive me! Lets start off on the right foot this year!!"
After his brief shout apology everything about Kida changes to normal. He stands straight with a slight smile on his face, hands in his pockets as he begins to walk towards a school building, signaling with a casual nod for Steven to follow.
"Your pretty chill to hang with Rosett, so if its not to much trouble, you mind showing me around? Well at least to all the cool secret hideouts you know about?~"

Steven would grin. The energy of a new student was nice. They had yet to see the school at its worse. Even if rumour leaked out, well they didn't really prepare. Being so over the top to be laughable, or just not doing the place justice.
"Well impression made."
Steven would follow at the gesture. He wasn't use to the compliment being fired fast and often. He new that they were in good fun. 'Seriously I want amazing upper-classman powers. Whatever they are?' Steven thought to himself, with a smirk.
"Well depend on what you like really. Apart from the Japanese stuff. If you smoke, normal spot is the roof. Teacher do to, but most of the time they don't really care." Steven would say, moving in step to walk side by side the Kida. Steven pointed up to the roof of the main building. "If you're like me, well there is the library." Steven would say, he couldn't really point this out as it was obviously inside.
"What else is there? Well there behind the old building, not as packed as the newer one. So good place to hang if you want to avoid other too many people. Not much else to it really, one school is like another." Steven would say, not pointing out the old building that flaked the side of the courtyard as it was slightly obvious.
"If there are any secret hideouts. Well they are secret from me. I actually haven't been here to long. I transfer here a couple months back. Though if you find any, feel free to fill me in." As Steven spoke, chuckling slightly, they would reach the doors of the main school building. Steven would push it open and allow Kida to step inside.

At seeing Steven grin and actually follow him Kida's whole frame seemed to relax into his walk. He may have said his apology in a joking manor but he was glad that his older friend seemed so easy going and didn't take anything he said too personally. His stomach clenched at his earlier thoughts of recruitment, guilt plagued him for a second as he realized he was about to value this cool guy as a member before he even considered him a friend. He had to fix that kind of mentality around or he would end up just like all the other useless adults out there. Using people was not going to be Kida Miyazaki's style.
As Rosett explained the different hangouts Kida tried his hardest to absorb all the information he could. The roof sounded like it saw a lot of traffic, best steer clear unless he needed something. He laughed when Steven professed his love for the library, finding it how hilarious he seemed to fit the bookworm stereotype yet still be so awesome. As the talk neared its end Kida found himself disappointed in the lack of secret hideouts but he didn't let it show, however he found himself more shocked by Stevens admission to only being here for a few months.
"Really!? You seem to really know your way around for being a new guy."
His smile can't help but reflect how impressed he is with Stevens knowledge of the place. He quickly claps his hands together before dynamically pointing towards his upperclassman.
"Your like a super brain type fighter aren't you! I bet you can look at a guy and find out all 257 of his weaknesses in less then a second! So cool!!"
He laughs for a bit before lowering his hands back into his jacket pockets, and while he is still smiling its edge doesn't look as cracked and its nature looks more genuine to the eye.
"Thanks for all the info Rosett, I know its not always easy helping out the new guy, especially at a school like this, so I really appreciate it." He tilts his head slightly in an apologetic manor, expression one of regret. "You mind if I ask you just one more question? I was wondering if you knew if there where any gangs in this school...and maybe if you could point them out to me?"

Steven would pinch the bridge of his nose, at the dramatic nature and words that Kida used. Steven couldn't keep up with the way, his brain was jumping from thing to thing. However Steven tried to do so. Yes he was new, but still knew his way around. He made sure of that, your surrounding were important. Knowing them well was always a smart thing to do.
When the question about gangs came up, Steven would raise a curious eyebrow. Knowing about places around school made sense, but knowing about gangs. Useful to, just not something he expected someone to ask straight out. Steven was starting to get the feeling he was being mind for infomation, however he saw no need to hide what he knew.
"Well you have you numerous small time gangs. Flickering and fleeting as people pass from clique to clique as they grow up. Some are nasty, other are nice. Like the lightning gang, more family then a gang." Steven would explain, pointing to the small lightning bolt mark he wore since joining. His reason for joining were not the best. However he had, and as such would wear the badge. "Though I not really interected to a large extent with any other. Well...except." Steven would let the comment hang in the air for a moment before explaining.
"It's not in school gang, at least, but there is this gang that attack student's awhile back. It wasn't fun. If you meet anyone claiming to be from the riot squad. Run." Steven would give the kid a warning. He didn't want him to fall to harm from riot because he hadn't been here for the attack, and as such didn't know to be wary.

When Steven confirms his involvement with another gang a flash of anger crosses Kida's features. His eyes lose there shine for a moment as he considers whether or not to even continue speaking with this student. 'Whats the point?' He couldn't help but think. 'He wont ever be family'. He wouldn't be able to trust this guy once word came out about his position with The Yellow Rebels. Steven would side with this "lightning gang" over Kida in any matter, no questions asked.
'But he is a pretty chill guy right? Why make an enemy out of him now? Just pretend that your regular high school students, hanging out.'
Reason filtered through his mind. That's right! Rosett didn't know anything about his gang life. For now, they could just be friends. It wasn't like he was selling any secrets about his gang, and all Rosett did was try and look out for him. Plus he said his gang was more like a family, that's how Kida felt about his members too! He naively reasoned that maybe there gangs are similar and he wouldn't have to fight Steven's "family" one day.
Kida quickly unclenched his hands, hoping his weird mood swing wasn't too apparent a moment ago. With his smile on full display Kida relaxes once more into conversation.
"Thanks for answering my question. I know a lot of people don't like to talk about stuff like that, but its better to address the danger out here, you know? I'll make sure to keep an eye out for those Riot guys."
Kida gives a dramatic thumbs up towards his upperclassman in joy.
"Thats all the questions I had! Well, all the questions I've thought off so far anyway! I give you 300 points for the amazing work you have done guiding me Rosett."
Kida looks around his unfamiliar school surroundings and sighs briefly before scratching his chin idly.
"Now I just need to find my classes...."

"You're welcome Kida." Steven said, always glad to help someone out. It's what he, and his other friends he hadn't mention strived to do. Make school as safe and easy as possible. Now why had he not mentioned, the like-minded to Kida. Well they weren't a gang, at least not in Steven mind. It was more an agreement between them to do what they thought was right.
Steven was to about to say goodbye to the kid. When he heard him muse to himself. Steven would point down the hallway. "Freshman home room classes are down there. Even numbers are on the left, odd the right." Steven would say pulling back his free hand from the point.
"Do you at least know your class number?" Steven asked.

"Yea. I think they gave me a list of class numbers...."
Kida's hands went to his back pockets, quickly finding, and retrieving a crumbled up ball of paper. He laughs nervously and quickly tries to unfold the piece of paper into a reasonable form. After a minute of struggling(and a bit of tearing) the class numbers can finally be shown to the world.
"So just down this hall right? Alright, I guess I should head to class and all that. Maybe if I get there early enough I might get to have a seat next to a pretty girl!"
Kida begins to skip down the hall towards the Freshman homerooms, waving as he says his goodbyes, not really caring about the weird looks he is no doubt receiving in the hallway.
"It was fun Rosett! Make sure not to forget we're friends next period when you talk to all your cool senior friends!~"
After a few feet of skipping Kida returns to a regular walk towards his classroom. His mind wanders as he gets closer to his homeroom. Would it be OK to skip first period? He felt like he already had so much to think about. He already made a friend in another gang member, something he was nervous about, and now that he has a lowdown of the school he needed to plan how The Yellow Rebels would be able to infiltrate. He could start recruiting, but he didn't know anyone besides Rosett. Then there where those other gangs. Gangs he knew absolutly nothing about. It sucked being in the dark, and there where defiantly a lot of unknown elements at PHS #552.
'What should I do next?'
Kida sighs as he walks into homeroom. Time for more introductions!
