The earring is the White Demon's conduit. It allows the White Demon himself to talk to you as it allows you to talk to him as well. But not only does it allow you to do that. Al is capable of borrowing some of the White Demon's power, granting him +15 Str for 1 post per 15 Int. But it comes with the cost of loosing some control to himself, the more the power is borrowed in a fight, the more the White Demon would take over.
