A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[[OoC: Every student who posts in this event will receive 1 stat point. The event is meant to be a simple assembly.]]
The old man would fix his tie behind the curtains for the stage that was constructed out in the courtyard. He always liked having assemblies like these outside. He felt like it made the assemblies slightly more interesting for the students. They were allowed to stand in the courtyard, sit on the benches and folding chairs that had been setup, or even stand or sit in the grass. The old man wasn’t picky.
“Another year… another awful cafeteria menu. No offense Beverly.”
Arose smiled over at the head of food services as he jested. Beverly made a silent note to herself to ban Arose from the cafeteria. Especially when she found him after the Spring Fling, suspended in midair with nearly 500 balloons tied around himself. The old man would step out onto the stage, his dress shirt sleeves rolled up. The man would ignore the podium and microphone and instead project his voice to speak to the students.
“Ahem… I’d like to ask how everyone’s summer was… but I already know the answer. It sucked cause we were all here right?”
The old man spoke with a joking tone.
“No but seriously. How is everyone doing today? I know it’s early in the morning and most of you are half awake, but thank you all for being here. It’s a new semester. That means a new 552. I know we’ve all been through so much this past year. And… I want to say that things will be easier this year but… I’m not going to lie to all of you, I don’t know if it will. What I can tell you all, is that the other teachers and I will do our hardest to protect all of you.”
The man took a breath, gauging the crowd and their reception.
“Now that we’ve gotten past that… There are a few rules I have to go over with you guys. I know, I know it’s boring. No running in the halls. No fighting during school hours. And… please… Don’t break school property when you guys fight. It’s expensive… Especially those floor tiles. If one shatters we have to replace the entire unit area, but now I’m going off on a tangent. And second off. Why isn’t anyone ever wearing the school uniform? I spent an entire week designing those things! I mean hell, there’s a kid that runs around wearing the school uniform from another school! Did you guys just not know we had them? Or are you guys just rebelling by not wearing the uniforms? Do you not like the uniforms I designed? Should I redesign them or-“
Before Arose could continue on with his tangent, a silver haired man would step up and place a hand on Arose’s shoulder.
“Oh… Um. Sorry. I guess I’ll hand things off to our new Headmaster. Everyone, here is Mr. Girard.”

The silver haired man would step up wearing a navy blue suit with a grey dress shirt and red tie before placing a hand on Arose’s shoulder as he went off on his tangents about school uniforms. He needed to reign this back in. Sure the students seemed to be amused by Arose’s antics… but this was the sort of thing that Gregoire had come to put an end to. He would remove his hand from Arose’s shoulder as Arose stepped back off the stage. Gregoire stepped up to the podium, and used the microphone to address the students. His formality was a stark contrast to Arose.
“Hello everybody. I am your new Headmaster and my name is Gregoire Girard. I know you have all had some bad luck in the past with Headmasters and even worse luck revolving around the events in the past year. I want you all to know, you have nothing more to fear. I have been put in place to put events like FEAR and the Riot attacks to an end.”
The man knew more of the two events than he led on… allowing it to escape by calling the black mist by it’s true name. He would take a faint breath before returning to speak.
“I have new initiatives that I want to put in place to help keep this school grounded and safe. First of all, I will be creating two new systems to help the students further regulate themselves. The Pillar System used by 552 and other schools is a fantastic tool. But unfortunately one bad cog in a tool can completely ruin its effectiveness. Likewise, even just One Pillar who cannot prioritize his duties properly can completely ruin the foundation that this school stands on.”
Ever so slightly, Gregoire alluded to the First Pillar by his slight emphasis on the word “one” and his blatant use of the pronoun “his.” If he were to completely gain control of this school, the Pillars were a strong force that stood in his way… Even stronger if they stood together. But if he could turn the students and Pillars against each other.
“I will be taking applications in the Main Office for new applicants towards two new groups. One, the much needed Student Body Congress, in which there will be no chairs. Instead, every student who seeks to find their voice, will have an equal say. The second, a group of students to police their own. Much like the Pillars, but instead there is no Hierarchy. You will all be seen and treated as equals. You will all work together in order to form something larger than yourselves. You will all work together to protect your school alongside the Regulators.”
The man would take a moment to gauge the crowd, notice how they all reacted.
“That is all I have for today. Thank you for your time today students. Should anyone have any questions, you may obtain a hall pass from your teachers and see me in my office.”
The man would promptly turn away and disappear through the curtains behind the stage.

Aaron would scowl.
He didn't like the sound of this new man.
Aaron was seated with the rest of the teachers, dressed quite formally. He wore a dress shirt and tie, his hair styled and his thin glasses over his eyes. His legs were crossed, and his leg tapped a little in the air. He was staring at the fellow. So far, they had moved forward just fine without two more additions to the Pillar system....what was to stop them from arguing about who had say?
Wouldn't it cause more problems when the pillars came in to help and this police force claimed jurisdiction? Aaron saw problems with multiple teams having power over several areas. He would clench a fist- he would have to meet with this man to see what his real motives were.
For now, he would just...watch him.

Paige was not amused at all with this new headmaster. He seemed to be talking out his ass. Paige may have respected the teachers here she could still tell an asshole when she seen one. "He has no idea what he is talking about...."Paige would mutter to herself for a second.

That's IT | Two Roads,One Destiny |
An assembly, finally something new. The school was pathetic, but this was the first time I have seen an assembly in 552. Hopefully it dosen't ruin our brains with stupid information. I quietly seated myself near the front, putting one of my legs in one of the front chairs.
A teacher came out and spoke about lunch food. The school menu was garbage. It was just frozen food heated up and shaped like actual food. Even I can make better food than what this place calls a "healthy plate". He than starting stating rules that the students should follow. Whatever. This is a free country, I can do whatever the heck I want because I pay my taxes, so the rules of the school won't apply to me. Uniforms, forget that. My clothes are more cooler than what this school has to offer. I ignored the teacher in the stage until this silver haired man came to the stage. That's new.
I listened to what this man had to say. Two new groups being formed. Putting leashes on the pillars. Sounds like the stuff our leader tells us. But I could apply to these two groups. Student Body Congress sounds to lame. School Police....yes. I could have access to things regular students wouldn't be able to do. I'll sign up for that. After the assembly ended, I rushed towards the Main Office and ask for an application to join the so called police force. I could help our gang with this, but I'd have to act nice....but its all worth it in the end.

Cedric was in the front of the crowd brazenly refusing to adhere to the dress code, not out of spite or to rebel just because he hated wearing a shirt, so when the teacher went on about the dress code he couldn't help but chuckle feeling that it was especially relevant for him. However the amusement was short lived as head master buzzkill took the stage and started going on about trying to improve the system. In Cedric's mind it was pointless to try to organize the student body here who's very nature was to rebel against any system that would try to control them "Can't make a working machine with broken cogs" he muttered to himself

"...You kidding me old man?!"I laughed as I sat over the edge of the rooftop of the new school building. Even I didn't wear the uniforms. Truth be told, I didn't even know we had them. I sat there wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans, black high top sneakers, and a green v-neck shirt. I continued to sit and listen as the new Headmaster came up."Gregoire Girard..."I was wondering why they weren't having us Pillars talk for the assembly like they did last year... But this guy... His words kind of told me why. It seemed that the new Headmaster didn't really approve of the Pillar System. I didn't really notice the shots he was making at me personally, but I sat there scratching the back of my head."Man... I hope this doesn't become a pain."@ tag # # # notes MADE BY VEL OF GS

Post by Kazuya Hikari on Sept 7, 2015 16:39:35 GMT -5
Dressed in the school uniform proper, Kazuya would frown slightly, not only from the uniform, as indicated by the fact he kept picking at the top of the dress shirt, which he had buttoned up fully for today, but also at the new Headmaster. Kazuya liked Arose, even if the man's antics made him facepalm more than laugh most of the time, but the new Headmaster, Mr. Gregoire Girard was definitely the no-nonsense, utterly serious, strict as they come type... and Kazuya wasn't sure of what to think of this man. Folding his arms across his chest, continuing to frown slightly, for his entire high school life, he was familiar with the Pillar system, having been one himself.
These new ideas... he wasn't even sure if he could get behind them, much less if they would even work. For now, he would keep quiet and to himself, mostly to avoid drawing any unnecessary attention to himself, though when it came to the uniform... well he would wear it, just not properly. He liked keeping the dress shirt completely untucked and the shirt unbuttoned. But it was clear... things were changing in the school.

Jae was standing out in the grass, listening somewhat attentively. He was brand new and didn't know the staff that well. But the rambling old man from the beginning made him smile, there was something about his tone that Jae found charming. 'Definitely hope there are more of him.' He would think as the new Headmaster took the stage. Unlike the man from before, this one seemed all business. He brought up the pillar system, Jae was completely lost, he didn't know anything about them, but the way the man talked indicated he didn't like the system very much. Jae wasn't interested in a student government position, after all it was only is first day.

Fenrir stood in the crowd amongst the students, blending in for the most part. His trademark cigarette and sword weren't anywhere in sight, and he merely watched the events unfold.
A plan to keep something like Riot from ever happening again... Funny.
His hand reached up to take a cigarette that wasn't present in his mouth, and he sighed. The new headmaster was quite the character, but he wasn't one that Fenrir could deem a threat at first glance. At the least, he knew Riot would have to move carefully now. It's a shame for the students that no one really knew all the leaders.
Let's see you play your cards...

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Another one of these assemblies. Al scratched his head as he wasn't really sure what it's about, he wanted to just skip the thing and not attend it at all, but hey, it's probably going to be short anyway. He had proceeded to the courtyard where a stage stood. "A new headmaster?" Al had thought. Even though it was only a few weeks since he first entered and hasn't fully met the headmaster yet, it felt like this new headmaster was someone he disliked. One of the reasons being is that he was a lot more serious than the old headmaster. As the new headmaster stated his proposals, he knew it would most probably cause even more problems. "These won't turn out well." As the man returned backstage, Al frowned. As it seems, most of the other students didn't like him either. Looks like there would be some drastic changes around here.

Austin was nearly half dead. He had settle himself doen near the back of the assembly hall, arms crossed as he sat in a chair and listened to all the words spoken. Snorting at Arose's comments about a school uniform- like Austin would ever be caught dead in it.
He would rub ay his eyes and take a deep breath as he then shifted his gaze toward the one introduced as the new head master. Austin was unsure of what to think of him at this moment. He had no reason to dislike him, not yet.
Knuckles was only here at the prospect that something fun might happen. Whenever this many people gathered in one place, shit usually rolled down hill. And Knuckles wasn't going to miss his chance to add his own shit to the pile, if the need arose.

Luna hadn't been here for all too long, but something about the new headmaster's speech didn't quite sit well with her. She knew about the pillars- what could happen if they really did go doing what they wanted whenever or if they started a revolution, but she had personally never met them or witnessed anything of the sort coming from that particular group of people. In her opinion the school was actually doing a surprisingly decent job of keeping order already, but what would she know. One month isn't even enough to get to know everyone, no matter how unique they are, or how much they stand out. She was concerned about the idea of enforcing a group of individuals to 'police' the school more than anything, knowing how ruthless it is already (even in this short period of time she's been here).
Luna sighed as the new headmaster walked offstage. Well, she thought. I'll get used to this in time anyway. One month is easy enough to adjust from...

Riot attacks at an end? In the crowd of students, Bee chewed upon her bottom lip. Was something even possible for one man and the students of the school, when the students had been so obviously failing?
And even siding with Riot?
The brunette didn't think so, unless he was part of Riot or whatever the girl had said--the gang that was bigger and somehow making Riot shake in their boots?
Either way...Bee wasn't certain. This school was becoming more an more unstable in the name of supposed stability. Policing students? Wasn't that technically the Pillars, in a way, just with more numbers? She wasn't sure...
This was sounding like a worse place than it already was. Not the worst, exactly, but she wasn't sure she had faith in these new ideas.

He sounds like a dick.
