A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

(OOC: This thread takes place after the current Riot events and any Orochi events. It's intended for Valo and any members of the Lightning Gang who wish to join. Members of Hyperion who are current or are for sure joining are welcome to join too.) i can't save me from myself "Meet me by the Reservoir in Central Park at noon. My soldiers will let you through."
Having sent that message to any members of LG that he could, Valo would stand by the lake in the park, thirty soldiers all standing around him to cover his backside. Each one of them was a member of Hyperion, Valo's own faction, and each one would be dressed in black jackets with their hoods up, a gas mask covering each of their faces. Valo himself was wearing a red jacket with his hood down, his armor hidden underneath his clothing. While he wasn't the largest man, the leader of Hyperion seemed to have a presence that all but commanded respect. "It's about time..."
The clock struck noon, yet he would stare down at his reflection in the lake below. All he saw was the Wraith within him staring back at him, that pale, dead skin, jet black eyes, and black as death hair. He couldn't remember the last time he saw himself in any reflection. But this wouldn't be that creature who spoke to LG today. It had changed him, hardened him, and he was almost a different person entirely than the one who had first met Leon, the quiet boy in the hallway who was afraid to fight was long gone.
When LG's members arrived, Hyperion's would stand to either side to allow them to walk through. ulla

Leon got the invite. It was from long lost family so of course he'd show up. Jumping on his little 250 cc honda rebel he'd make his way to the specified area. Once arrived he'd put it in neutral and cut it off. Making his way he had no idea what this was about, yet when he saw the numbers around and about Leon started to smile. Seemed Valo had some surprises in store for today and it only got Leon more and more excited.
However Leon would wait between the mass of people, there were more LG members on the way, he was sure. We don't abandon family.

The roar of the engine rumbled his chest, and he grinned. He loved the feeling of a monster under his feet. His 67 Chevelle, black and shiny, pulled up along side the Honda before Aaron killed the engine. Leon threw them a text to show up here, giving just a little detail on what it was about. Allen and Phoebe were with him, but when he saw all the individuals waiting for them.....he was glad he put out the word.
Thirty LG members arrived in trucks and cars, having followed the LG core with much gusto. Aaron hopped out, giving Leon a nod.
"We weren't sure what was going on...so Allen went ahead and pushed it out to the others. They'll wait here, as will I if you'd like."
Allen and Phoebe weren't likely to do so, but Aaron was just an adviser, despite the LG pin ticked to his lapel. He would turn back to his siblings.
"Anything goes sideways, you stick together and you come find me. No heroics."
That was not a request.

Allen nodded to his brother, shutting the door to the car behind him. He wasn't sorry he brought the others- he didn't really know Valo. He didn't know any of them men standing around either. But if this was some ploy at war, Allen would be on the front.
The only thing he really knew here...was that Valo had sided with Riot, when push came to shove.
That was enough for him.
"We'll be with Leon. You come find us."
Allen walked around Aaron, who would scowl and turn to watch him go. Allen paid him no mind- there was obviously bigger issues at hand here then their brotherly squabbles.
OOC: This is after RIOT attacks and "They can fight".

Bee's expression went from joyful to serious as they pulled into view and saw the milling gang...
"...well this obviously isn't good. Worse than just being at their home base..."
She stroked the upholstery of the sleek and rumbling car a moment as Aaron cut the engine, then she slowly disembarked, carefully shoving her hands in her pockets. Her arm was still casted, and she watched the other gang as they formed up in ranks. Her gaze sharpened a little, considering their options as Aaron spoke and their younger brother responded. She watched Allen's back as he would move in as the other LG members arrived to swamp their numbers...and reached out to squeeze Aaron's arm.
"Question is...is it going to waste less time for you to come inside with us, or stay outside, just in case..?"
She glanced up but would move to catch up with Allen, her gaze concerned!

Christa would approach Valo from behind as he would gaze into the lake, turning off her voice changer and speaking almost in monotone. "They're here, and they seem to be on edge. A lot, on edge." Christa would turn behind her looking out toward where the crowd of Hyperion soldiers and the few LG members would stand. "Do I need to provide sniper cover, or do you trust things will go alright?" Clearing her throat she'd turn on her voice changer once more and click on her respirator, turning back toward Valo. Awaiting his answer.

i can't save me from myself Valo turned to Christa, speaking softly. "I need you by my side. Watch carefully. There's no one I trust more to have my back, but I need you present for this."
Valo turned towards the crowd, raising his hand. Immediately, Hyperion's soldiers would stand to either side to allow LG through, 15 soldiers on either side lined up in rows. Valo himself, while being Hyperion's leader, was unmasked. It was the only way to really talk to Leon and the others to make himself known, for his voice to be heard to his former family.
"Leon. Everyone. Welcome." He looked over their numbers. There were more of them than there were Hyperion, from a quick glance. LG was being careful too, just in case Valo was deemed a threat, perhaps. He was glad that they were cautious. "This is Hyperion, a group we-" He pointed to himself and Christa, "-established to take justice into our own hands. Every member follows a code of their own,but we all have the same goal in mind. To do the right thing. To protect people."
He took a few steps towards Leon.
"The reason I called you out here, Leon, is because our bond and our blood runs deeper than most."
He would look him right in the eyes, remembering their previous 'conversation' was unfinished.
"Tell me, what do you know of the current threats facing our city?" ulla

Leon watched carefully, but he felt at ease. The tension was mostly being escalated between the mistrust and issues with shown sides. Leon would step forward holding a hand out for Allen and Phoebe to hold back. He wanted them with the bulk at one end of the soldiers instead of stepping towards the middle to be surrounded.
Leon watched Valo, and no one else. When he pointed to the one at his side he gave a quick glance before going right back to Valo's eyes. Scanning, searching... Trying to pick out some glint, some fault. No, he was asked a question. Leon would answer honestly.
"Let's see... First and at the forefront is RIOT, obviously each and every one of them deserves to die, stripped naked and hung in the streets, with their ears and tongues cut out, their eyes sown shut, and fingers sent home so their loved ones have something to bury. Then there's Orochi, some bigger badder force that apparently RIOT is trying to deal with, though RIOT's core wants to pit Five-five two against Orochi and clean up what's left over. Which means five-five two is strong enough to take Orochi without RIOT."
Leon would let that sit.
"Then there is the new Headmaster, attempting to drive more lines between Five-five two's students to weaken us further and is likely working for either Orochi or RIOT. Either way he and the Regulators must go. Did I miss anything?"

Zoe would adjust her hood as she stepped onto the wet grass of the park. She could see the crowd up ahead. Half of them all wore masks while the other half seemed to be fine just sporting their blue tattoos. She could hear Leon speaking. At the mention of what he wanted to do with the members of Riot, Zoe's eyes narrowed behind her mask. If he even dared to try and hurt Nero, he'd be in a world of pain. Still she remained silently among the other members of Hyperion as he spoke. At the mention of the headmaster, Zoe spoke out. Her voice was masked by a voice changer. ”Pardon me, but in regards to the new Headmaster,” as she spoke, Zoe stepped out from the crowd of masked gangsters. ”He's the biggest unknown variable and threat we have to deal with currently. His records all show up way too squeaky clean, but somehow, he gave the black mist events a proper name- F.E.A.R.” The girl would cross her arms as she looked between Leon and Valo. ”Orochi showing up and stirring up trouble- it all feels too coincidental. I'm afraid that Orochi might just be a distraction there to help further divide the student body while whatever this FEAR thing is slowly works behind the scenes.”"We should consider paying the headmaster a visit..."

Allens fists clenched when Leon told them to hang back. He didn't want to- he didn't want to watch Leon walk into the teeth. He nearly called out to say so but....it was probably wiser they be more ready to punch a hole than to punch out of one. Leon started talking, and anger flared in his chest. He wanted to but in, but instead some other person did, talking about the headmaster.
Allen didn't care about the man.
Riot had been around since school started. They tortured kids and ruined families. They took his sister, who stood next to him trying to be strong, and did only lord knows what. He knew they forced her to do things that...that weren't....that alone made him want heads on spikes. Then...while he was gone and in hiding, they took his mom. Probably raped her and murdered her too. He didn't know if he would come home one day to find a video of the acts with a laughing pig in a RIOT jacket. Allen wanted to feel their bones crack under his hands. He loved what Leon said because he felt, deeply, that this is what they deserved.
But he remembered this....Valo. Fucking coward. Him and the buff girl who tried to take him from the battle. Both of them were probably mighty in their own right yet took the side of Riot because they couldn't nut up against Riot on their own.
Allen took a step forward, prepared to call out when he felt a warm hand on his shoulder and a voice in his ear.
"Breathe, Allen. Just breathe."
That...sounded like his dad. He looked up at Aaron, brows furrowing and eyes turning very liquid...and watched his Elder brother move to walk forward with Leon.

Aaron could see Allen unwinding. Could see the little ball of fury welling up. He knew he wouldn't be able to control the outcome of what happened next, if Allen lost his shit. And Leon was walking forward- if something happened they needed the leader to get out. Aaron would step forward, putting a gentle hand on his little brothers shoulder as the kid took a step forward.
"Breathe, Allen. Just breathe."
He would hold just for a second before sticking both hands in his pockets and slowly walking forward with Leon, stopping about three feet behind his left shoulder. He looked in every persons eye as he past, weighing their resolve. Then he turned to Valo and this person next to him. He searched their eyes, and the eyes of the other person who spoke.
He didn't say anything for the time being. He was obviously there to just....watch, for now.

Bee remained by Allen's side, somewhat tense, but...as Aaron would give Allen, she was breathing, slowly, steadily. She knew Allen was a coiled spring, and was grateful Aaron said something. Her eyes flickered up to Aaron as he moved towards Leon and the ones who had invited them here...
Bee lightly set her hand on Allen's shoulder, squeezed gently, and slowly let her hand drift back to her side.

I AM THE KING
Rakeem had chosen to stay silent all this time, allowing Valo to handle the talking with a man he seemed to know better than the rest of them ever could. However, the man's flawed reasoning caused the young Chosen to cock a brow and make an entry to the conversation. He meant not to butt in, but these matters needed to be addressed, as it seemed all of this LG agreed with their leader, and no one from Hyperion dared to speak up immediately. Very well, then - it was because of this that Rakeem was given no other choice. "Pardon my intrusion," Rakeem would speak calmly as he stepped forward, holding up a hand to show he harbored no ill intention. "Your logic is flawed, Sir. In this matter of RIOT, Orochi, and us, Orochi would be the white pieces, making the first move, with us and RIOT on the black side. In this particular metaphor, we of #552 would fall under the position of "pawn," whether or not you care to argue that being irrelevant to the main issue. The pawns are used to thin out the opposing team's pieces, and to gain leverage for your more powerful ones in the process. In no way does this mean we can defeat Orochi on our own, it simply means we are a necessary piece of the puzzle. To act as brashly as you would, and insist that we face Orochi head-on, after dealing with RIOT, is to go at the opponent with but half our pawns, while they have their whole side completely untouched. It is a losing battle with no hope of success."The boy frowned after he spoke, realizing he may have simply seemed pessimistic over the matter, though it was his duty as Kgosi to be entirely honest. The truth was sometimes hard to hear, and even harder to say, but the more these people deluded themselves, the more likely it was they'd die in the process.

Standing off to the side, behind a tree located by the lake, Kazuya would remain out of sight for the most part, while leaning up against the tree, his arms casually folded across his chest. His face completely hidden by the mask he wore, which was needed when on an assassination mission, or in this case, a meeting with a group called the Lightning Gang. Turning his head slightly to look behind him, he would watch the Lightning Gang members out of the corner of his eye while the two leaders of both respective groups talked. Continuing to remain silent, for now, Kazuya would simply listen while keeping an eye out.

Aaron would clear his throat, then look at each of them before turning to the one who made the analogy. He watched him for a minute.
"I don't disagree with you. With joining with Riot. A week ago, I tried to do just that. To make an alliance with them that would allow us to stand up to this gang they fear. After speaking with one of the Riot core, I was able to glean a little from them that either he didn't intend, or didn't care that I knew. See, in your analogy, you are speaking from the view of someone who believes we have a common foe. Who believes that if two enemies stand together to fight one, their chances of victory increase. The problem, however, is that while you and I might view our three groups as pieces on a chess board, Riot only sees the two. Black is us, while Orochi is white."
He cocked an eyebrow.
"The ones playing the chess game are Riot."
He brought his hands from his pockets and scratched his head.
"See...to you that might seem like the angry statement of an adult who doesn't know any better but, literally, I heard that from his mouth. I quote: "All you ignoramuses at #552 think you have it figured out. But what you fail to realize is you are a dimly lit flame, with Orochi playing the role of the moth. My brothers and myself - we're the spiders. The only purpose you're going to serve is being the live bait that enables me to grip the neck of my enemy and draining the life from his body. One shot for you, one shot for them. Win-win for us." the Riot core number two or three told me this, very bluntly. They don't intend to work with us, then go back to the way things were. They plan to let 552 and Orochi bleed each other dry, then come in and mop up the pieces. And unfortunately, we don't have enough information about Orochi to make our stand count."
He would listen if they continued, curious how that would affect the mans mindset...if it did at all.
