And We Do It Like This [Apex/Heist]

Austin had planned carefully, including the use on non-lethal gas to knock out the three-man teams that these trucks had. Unnessicary blood shed was something Knuckles was trying to void. It would bring a whole lot more heat. As soon as he heard Macht chime in, he began to prepare himself. He would walk a few feet toward his right and grab at a napsack. He would then begin to pull own body suit, something he hadn't adorned since the fight with the fight with Shugo and the courtyard against RIOT.

Upon [gearing up], Knuckles would pull at his wrist to reveal the time again, grasping the detonator once again as he moved back into position. Once the built in headset in his helmet was connected, he would communicate with the lookout.

"Strike team in position. Lemme know when they hit the lights and when they go green. Everyone take cover and prep, we're 8 minutes away."

Austin would then flip the button cover on the detonator, trigger finger hovering near the switch. The minutes seemed to pass slow, but it wouldn't be too long now, he had been silently counting the seconds in his head.

"Strike team, got a bird's eye view on 'em. Trucks approaching the intersection now. Green in.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.."

Knuckles would smirk beneath his helmet as he counted the last two seconds himself. Without hesitation, he pulled the trigger. Four explosions activated simultaneously, creating a shockwave beneath the ground. A large section of the concrete intersection blew, great rumbling erupted as the section of the roadway dropped, spraying debris about as two armored trucks plummeted down into the sewers, leaving a large section of the road way above missing, as cars screeched to a halt, just barely avoiding being swallowed by the gaping hole.

As the cloud of dust and debris cleared, two loud gun-shots wpuld ring out from both the east and west sides of the sewer intersection, twp 7.62x51 steel core rounds would rip through the air from each direction, punching holes into the bullet-proof glass like it was a simple window, and continue through to pierce the backwall and into the money cab. Another set of gunshots would ring out immediantly after, the second round consisted of the same caliber round, however the tips had been replaced with small capsules of a powerful, modified CS-Gas. The gas would erupt inside the trucks. The sounds of lungs being hacked up would be heard, before silence.

"7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! Go, go, go!"

Macht's signal had been given. It was his time to act now. Knuckles would hoof it toward the back end of the first truck, resting toward the left side of the back doors. The two shooters jumped onto to their dirtbikes and the engine roared to life, as they backed them up toqardI the doors. Once Macht was done, they could grab the stash and book it.

"Of course I'll bring you something back to eat. Let me just get this job done. You should really be out here with me, you know, being my partner-in-crimefighting and all."

Valo spoke into his ear piece to Christa. He was on a rooftop, camping out and waiting for a specific target he had been tracking for a while. Red hood up, visor over his eyes, and sleeveless vest, shoulder pads, and gauntlets adorned his upper body, while black pants and boots were what he wore below that. His Thunder's Wrath armor was underneath as an underarmor of sorts to ensure maximum protection. He was zooming in on a building through a window, trying to find the politician he was looking for.

It was then that an explosion had caught him off guard, and he looked behind him into the distance. It sounded like it wasn't that far away... but what could cause something like that? Dropping down from the building via the fire escape, Valo would land in an alleyway, next to his motorcycle. As quickly as he could, he began to drive off in the direction of the explosion, dashing out of the alleyway and into oncoming traffic, carefully navigating around vehicles and people alike. The closer he got to the source, the more people seemed to be panicked.

"Dawn. Remain on standby with the rest of Hyperion to be safe. I don't know what's going on yet."

He drove closer to the scene, his eyes widening as he saw the intersection practically gone. What the hell... He thought. He heard a noise from above, and looked up to see... nothing there. Zooming in on his visor, however, he could see Zoe making her descend down a building. Like... running down it. I got to get me some of that tech she has... seriously.

"Eletrickery. I'm on scene as well. Going to investigate." He dismounted from his motorcycle as he started to approach the hole cautiously.

That sound- I know it well, An explosion!!

This young female was no stranger to the noise erupted from the near-by intersection, nor from the shockwave it emitted after detonation. She had experience similar situations in Serbia. Whatever had happened, it was definitely not a good sign.

The violet haired girl would begin to move, the black long coat she began to be tugged by the breeze as she found herself running down the street toward the noise. The traffic was building up quick, the sound of horns and people yelling filled the streets.

I cannot ignore it. I have to see what happened!

She would continue runningx stepping on the hood of a car, before leaping up and off it to grab a hold of the top of a passenger bus. The young Serbian girl would pull herself up and move the length of the bus, stopping at the far end, which over looked the chaotic scene ahead. And it seemed she wasn't the only one that was curious either. From her vantage point, she would attempt to peer into the big hole for what had caused this explosion.

Knuckles had quickly taken to the north tunnel, spinning to redirect his vision toward the crash site. The masked outlaw would smirk, though it would remain unseen. Whoever was coming to try and crash their party, was about to regret it. Within moments a smaller figure would drop and land on top of one of the armored trucks.

Without hesitation, those powerful legs would kick off and he would slightly higher than the trucks themselves, hands grabbing at the edge of the truck as he bent his legs and thrusted them forward, trying to propell himself into a destructive, duel-footed drop kick with the goal of colliding with her back and rocketing her toward the southern tunnel- Straight toward Macht.

Whoever they were, Knuckles could not allow them to get the money back. They needed it to help secure AW's future. To help them grow strong enough to rival that of RIOT and beyond. The Apex Warriors were making a clear and decisive statement: Don't get in the way.

Behind the mask was a expression mixed with noth anger and surprise. Before his hands had even been able to release the edge of the truck, he felt his momentum stop when the figure used some kind of ability. He wasn't about to stay still and become a sitting duck

Flexing those muscular arms, Knuckles would lean backwards and pull his legs up and over and thet would bend as he did. He would find himself rolling backwards into a flip and dropped from the top of the truck, down to the ground as electricity ripped through the air where he had been a moment before.

He would land in a crouch and immediantly push forward, slaming his shoulder into the side of the Armored Truck in attempt to knock it up onto two wheels and then push it over in hopes of completely disrupting Zoe's footing and forcing her to relocate.

It would seem these masked 'heroes' had special abilities of their own. It was likely Knuckles would be forced to use his blood here. However he would wait until he knew he had to for sure.
