A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

'People see what they want to see. And in most cases, what they are told to see' The Night Circus "Halloween Eve, the monsters break free Dancing skeletons giggle with glee Bright eyes peek down from dark branched trees Causing the curious to squeal and flee" --- A large man, standing on the outskirts of the outdoor stages, watching area. Stood under lamppost of an olden design, reciting his poem to those that passed, while casually flicking the stings of the guitar that he carried. One moment this huge lot was nothing but a baron place and suddenly as if almost overnight it was a festive district. Lively music played throughout the grand affair surrounding the area in an upbeat mood. Like a typical circus the large lot was filled with various carnival games and rides. A huge ferris wheel spun gently round and round with a little special highlight that included at random, two of the enclosed carts would slide and swing out briefly from the left and right centers. Gave it a little extra thrill. The scents of popcorn, hot dogs, cotton candy, all that carnival food goodness filled the night air. Carnival games lied randomly about. Halloween esque dressed performers and workers roamed the huge lot giving little frights to patrons.
--- Circus goers dressed like asked the day the fliers were handed out to dress to impress, meaning come in a costume but it wasn't hard to tell which from what. Cirque Du Wonder was vibrant yet kept with that eerie Halloween theme. Balloon animals. Lions and tigers and bears oh my! Ghost and ghouls. Zombies and witches. The night was young and full of zest. The mysterious circus had garnished mass of attention from it's short noticed announcement but that was all it needed. This circus was completely fashioned from the ground up by a particular shadow group. No one knew these operations where at the hands of the ever mysterious Wonderland. The myths, the wildcards. The ones that stalked the shadows for years yet remained a force not to be trifled with. Tonight they would show their presence a bit more than they have before. Tonight those who hadn't believed would be believers.
--- The large outdoor stage area, was out laid with a plethora of props and set pieces. Lampposts like the on that man reciting the poem had been. A few small trees each seemingly decorated with different styles, but all with a twist of the current season. One with black eggs, and skeleton bunnies. Another had deer like the same and present of black and red design. While the last, the largest, had tradition Halloween pumpkins and fake blood?covered things. The stage would be empty, and a reasonable crowd below awaited the show.
--- Suddenly a shower of sparks would fly upwards from the edge of the stage, and spewing smoke with a smell of sulphur, would block sight of the empty stage. Or rather the stage had been empty. A silhouette in the smoke, the shape of a man tall and thing came into view as the smoke cleared. Ragged clothes, and a pumpkin for a hat, the man, would seem to have the show fail around him. Spark from the stage, catching at the straw of his legs and igniting, taking him up in flames.
--- Men and women screamed, but only a few in true fight, many having figured that it was part of the show as the flames died down, clothes turning to ash completely un-phased as him to spin in dance. Until the flames faded completely, the man stood bowing and raised his head to look at the stage. The first out burned to nothing he wore another mask and outfit, this was the first of the magic show's trick and as it came to an end , the crowd clapped and the skeleton dressed man would wave toward the back of the stage. A little amusing play on words, and a tribute as well.

Jason was dressed as Gohan, his blonde hair spiked up as he stepped up next to the stage. He wasn't used to this kind of crazy events- but he didn't mind the fireworks, and people seemed happy. It was one of the first times since Jason started at 552 that people were actually having a good time, not running in terror or dealing with mass explosions and death. It was a refreshing change of pace.
"I wonder....what this is all about."
He didn't think the school could afford such high class of magic, nor did he know whether these games would be like the others he had heard about. He would look around, his blue-eye contacts attempting to find someone or anyone that would be familiar to him. Better to stick together in cases such as this, after all...

Lexington brushed the crumbs from off of his clean suit. Tonight was the night of the circus and everyone was wearing a costume, either it was something spooky or seductive. Our friend Lexington of course took a funny approach. Dipping his left hand into the bucket, the tall man dressed in white pulled out a chicken drumstick. He was dressed up as Colonel Sanders and he was a damn good looking Colonel Sanders too. Making his way to walk into the main area, he followed a happy couple that were dressed as Prince Charming and Cinderella. Quickly tearing up the drumstick, he tossed the bone into the grass and cleaned his hand off on prince charming's back. When the guy angrily turned around, Lexington simply walked past him. "HEY BUDDY, WHATS YOUR PROBLEM" Lexington kept on walking and paid the guy no attention, somewhat trying to blend into the crowd but his height stuck out.
After aimlessly walking around for about fifteen minutes, real festivities began. Roughly in the middle of the circus, the stage began to light up and it was attracting Lexington like a moth to a porch light. Staggering from left to right from having an almost completely full stomach, he aggressively burned some energy by forcing his way to the front of the crowd so he could have a front row seat to the action. "Okay, lets see what we've got goin on now" He lifted his left hand up to make sure his wig was still on correctly and then he gave his bow-tie a little tug. Lastly, he had to dip his clean left hand back into the bucket, this time to pull out a nice fat biscuit.

Into the fray. I don't where I am or where I may end up. I took a look at the area, where the "show" was gathering. It seems like an auditorium, from the entrance up above but I came in from below. As I walked into the arena, I took a long look at the stage, seems like the show wasn't starting yet but I know it would be soon. I tried to find a proper outfit, it is Halloween after all and know I would the odd man out if I wasn't. So before coming here I went on a journey to fine the perfect outfit. Four different stores and couple of pieces later... Ta-da! I look like captain Jack Sparrow. Well maybe a close enough knock-off since my eye-patch wasn't apart of the original design. I saw plenty of different outfit, some cool, some...Slutty and then the special ones. The ones that make you say... What the fuck. But hey to each there own. But Maybe I can see that it was in harmless fun. But a large African-American guy dressed like Colonel Sanders, the man who created Kentucky Fried Chicken with what I believe he is hold is a bucket of chicken that might have food in it? Well I could just say he embraces stereotypes very well. Either way, as the show began they started the show with something that pays homage to the opening of The nightmare before Christmas. The pumpkin king burning up to reveal the Skeleton King. The transformation was awesome so I couldn't pretend not to like it. As the whole crowd clapped I was still standing at this point I sit down to see what he maybe do next. Outfit

**After the opening ceremonies and like, the curtains opened behind them as silhouette appeared in back of the stage. Casually strutting out, his arms extended as it seems like he was trying to the hug the crowd. His Outfit was formal yet screamed that he was the star performer for the evening. Cheesy but in a good way, something in the range of David Copperfield and certain magicians in a old time era. He also wore a "Mask", A lion's mask, colored black and gold to finish off his appearance. Reaching his tenth step, he was in center stage as slowly lowered his arms the lights in the area grew dim. One single spotlight shown as his eyes slowly scanned the crowd. Slowly lifting his left hand up, quickly whipping out a wand that seem to appear out of no where. Pointing it out to the crowd, he began his little speech. "Greeting all and welcome to our little show of wonders. I hope you have been enjoying your stay and I hope you leave here with something close to your heart... Memories of this night to hopefully stay with you for a long time. In different places and spaces, things are happening all the time without rhyme or reason... These 'occurrences' are not by accident. Maybe a higher power at work..." **Use his right hand, he gently lifted his right hand up, hooked, fingers relaxed but making a quick motion flowers appeared... A small bouquet of red, blue and white flowers. A laugh escaped the man again as he spoke again "Or maybe a bit of magic. Things are not always what they seems... I know you heard that phrase plenty of times. But leaving here tonight, that phrase will be a embedded into you for lives. We... uhh I will control fates here. Enjoy your time..." **His voice sounded almost robotic due to the voice changer in place. His microphone which was in his mask amplified the voice to reach everyone in the audience. The theatrics was well places as the spotlight was shield everything else around him, within the dark, changes was being made to the stage. Adding things, removing things, over the course of the speech the expert hands of the background crew worked the true magic. Everything was done about 5 seconds before he reached the end. And he did, the spotlight shut off. The air seem to have become cold and ominous, like pressure building slow until the big… POP! A loud noise resembling cannon going off as confetti, streamers and like rained from the air as the lights clicked on all at once. The man appeared again sitting on the throne, as the multi-colored pieces of paper, people in knight-esque clothing and armor spinning long-pole staff with a flag at the end. A simple flag at the end of it, A shield with a lion‘s head in the middle. Staying seated, he extended his arms out as he growled out in a find voice. "I am known as the Knave of Wonderland… But here and now you will call me The KING for today. You all will be my jesters as your stay here will entertain me at my leisure… Now… Let‘s start the show!!" .:OOC:. The Pumpkin King would applauded The Knave's little display as the crowd ate it up. Admired the display in more ways then anyone in the crowd could understand. It was then that he got the signal, and The pumpkin King clapped harder. Suddenly Chaos would descend on the day. Once more the pyrotechnic on the stage would flare up and The Pumpkin screamed, a true scream of pain this time as the fire took the his arm up in flames. "FUCK, What the hell is going on?"
He screamed patting down at the flames on his arm to put them out. As the flames from the stage did not only take him. Flame would aim out from the stage, sparks flying and embers of all kinds, at those in the front row of the stage crowd. "Get the hell away from the stage."
The Pumpkin King shouted a voice distorted warning, making it clear that this was no part of a show. Making it so clear that some in the crowd started running as those near the front fell to the ground in screams. As people ran though more chaos erupted. The lamp post lining the area light blew and sparks would leap out at some of those fleeing sending them to sprawling to the floor. The ground shook and in places started to part and open with a rumble. "FUCK IT SOMEONE CALL THE FUCKING POLICE."He shouted once more, even though any such call would not have aid arrive any time soon due to it being such a remote location. --- Lexington Nanda Steele Paige Weaver Alex Dragon Jason Wynn Hiroshi

Post by Alex Dragon on Nov 7, 2015 16:05:01 GMT -5
Alex arrived late at scene. He wasn’t a big fan of circus acts or anything, but it would be interesting to see at least one good show. He was wearing his Titan Outfit with a red visor on his face so people wouldn’t recognise him and start attacking him. A Titan needs to be prepared for anything, even if he was the one of the few left in the group.
Seeing people start running for no reason, he headed into the tent to see flames starting to eat it away.
“What a marvelous show,” he clapped at the sight of chaos.

Although he had arrived late for the beginning of the show (though in this case, it wasn't a bad thing), this was one circus he would never forget... literally. He had been to a circus show before, in Russia, but that one... had not been so chaotic as this one... at all. Dressed as Archer from Fate Stay/Night, complete with Archer's twin swords, Kanshou and Bakuya on his back, hell, he had even dyed his hair white, seeing people fleeing from the tent, instead of following the crowd, Kazuya would push through them, moving in the opposite direction.
Successfully getting past the panicked group of attendees and darting through the entrance into the tent, he would do his best to maintain his balance as the ground shook and cracked open in various places with a rumble while flames ate away at the tent. His eyes narrowing, a grim look on his face, he was 99.9% certain this was not part of the act... at all.
"What is even going on here..."

Lexington hobbled around with his cane still pretending to be an old Colonel Sanders, the stage quickly lit on fire and chaos ensued as the ground began to quake and part, Lexington stood in place in somewhat of a mesmerized trance. He watched the sparks from the stage fly in multiple directions, a stray ember landed in his bucket of chicken and it caught fire. "Argh! Me bucket!" He shouted as he tossed the bucket to the side and stood in front of the stage. Slowly he turned and began hobbling over to a lamp post. He stood near it and tried to fake catch his breath. He was really commiting to the role. When suddenly the lamp post burst into flames and an ember caught his wig on fire. "Oh fuck I'm on fire" He quickly pulled the wig off with a two fingers and tossed the wig into the grass and he began to stomp on it, smothering the flames. "Still gotta commit to the role. But lets check out that fire" Lexington looked around and walked over to a food stand where he spotted a fire extinguisher. "Cool, cool, cool" He picked up the extinguisher and hobbled towards the tent with it.
As he hobbled towards the tent, he tossed away the fake cane and erected his posture. He pulled his thick hankerchief out of his pocket and tied it around his chin, then he pulled it up over his chin and let it sit on his nose. A somewhat effective mask, arriving at the tent he used his fire extinguisher conservatively. Spraying only in front of him so he had a clear path to walk through. "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANYBODY IN HERE?!?!!?" He shouted out as smoke continued to billow.

Oh man... What hell?
I must be dreaming... The place looks huge on the scale that I am watching from. As the people began to pile themselves within the forum, the little murmurs of the stage was the signalling the start of the show. The seats were slowly starting to fill. And for what I am seeing, the performers were getting ready to open up the curtains. Maybe they are behind schedule, the witching time was upon us. This was the first time I have been to a show of this nature. The sights of crowd, all the different people in their outfits and even the way the stage was made. They truly had the theme of the Halloween and such, and they was making it into a magic show. All and all I was enjoying myself. For all its grander, it is pretty crazy that this show hell everything in this park is free of admission. I mean, all you needed for entering this place is the flyer they was handing out. I can only think that the people funding this event must be loaded. As the lights went dim, man with a pumpkin head burst out as the show officially kicked off. The sparks flying and such you would think someone would catch on fire or something? Well, professionals are always working with things behind the scenes. They would do whatever it takes to keep the crowd safe right?
But speaking on the outfit, it did remind me of something... I was thinking back to a certain Disney movie and ooooohhhh I WAS RIGHT! The Nightmare before Christmas. That makes sense, can't argue with that choice at all. Even in the opening of the movie with the song, he even changed clothes in the same fashion. Was he the head magician? I had many more questions which were answered as the skeleton king draw the attention to the back of stage where the drew open revealing the true magician. He was hamming it with his little opening and even the little ominous speech. The end of it was a bit... Weird? Why say that he was going to be entertain by the crowd... And then, chaos ensues. First the sparks from the stage burning the Jack Skelington lookalike and then the lighting from the outside. People's first instinct in situations like this starts the stampeding. People scrambling to get away crushing each other, running over, pushing people out of the way. Nothing was in order someone needed to step up.
"Everyone! Calm down, and find the nearest exit!"
I tried to my part in just moving men and women to certain areas. This was not looking good at all...

**The magician's little speech came over as he expected. As the silent Oh's and Ah's change mostly into bewilderment. But to be honest, it was all going accordingly to plan. Enough that with all the speech really did was help the set up of the failing pyrotechnics prior to the chaos going on. Staying seated, with the mask on... It seemed like he had pretty much no emotion to everything that just started to happen. His head, just casually resting itself on his hand as the people scrambled about. The cries and shouts of fear, rage mixing together in the cesspool of raw human emotion; you could say that is the magic of in itself. To make a spectacle of wonderment and fun, changing it into a game or horror. Even within the muffling screams, you could hear a rhythmic beating of metal to wood. All the "knights" on stage began to slam their blunted ends into the floor, the unison action resonated the sound amplifying it to the people's wanton destruction of the seating area. Standing up, the Masked Magician fixed his mask a bit before speaking again, this time his voice rang out louder to heard more clearly. "MY LOYAL SUBJECTS! Understand that this is all in part of my act. Rather, with your fear and excitement, the show has truly BEGUN! Now, this is my court... You have a choice to make, stay a lowly peasant or try to make it out as royal! Die as something." **The chants started up as the combined thumping picked up in tempo. Fire started to stretch around the forum, the flaming licking at and latching on to anything would be fabric and flammable. The darkness the stage was partly shrouded in started to illuminate the backdrop behind the stage. It would seems like the place was completely disconnected to the original park all of them entered in the first place. Quickly thrusting his hands in the air, the Lion-headed man spoke again, with more of a growl in his voice. "This is your only chance! Kill me and become the King! You can save everyone here, as king you can command these people, my knights to save yourself and the others... Stop the flames and become a hero. If not... They will mow you down as I order them to do so. Now... Find me and kill me if you dare... This night will change you forever... That I promise!" "Kill the king, Long live the king! Kill the king, Long live the king!" **The shouts of the knights started as they modified an old saying. The words rang out to everyone in the crowd some where still trying to live and of course others actually listened to the Magician's words. Losing their fear and approaching the stage. Two knights closer to the stage stopped their movements as a couple of people got closer to the stage. One rushed the stage as hope to get close enough; but then he was met by the end of the flag pole into his sternum. Blood sprayed out from his mouth as he fell of the stage. A cackling started from the magician as he spoke from the final time, before disappearing in a cloud of smoke. "This is unfair... Truly unfair. But I am a fair man, Let's make it a chase! Find me... and see if you are a the man or woman you can hope to believe!" ~They won't get me... I know they won't get me!~.:OOC:. Damien 'Mayhem' Caine sorry for the delay... let's start the show!

(OOC: The event is taking place in a outdoors staged area, as such there is no tent for the character in the most recent post to be walking into. The post here reflects that fact. Please read more carefully, this is a outdoors stage area not a tented one.)Men and women started to flee as best they could in all directions, some climbing over each other and trampling others in a bid to get free of the chaos. Flames would continue to spill from the front of the stage, however the rumbling in the area would grow worse. Sending people to the floor as the ground in places would split. Different contraption would slowly rise, much like a stages trapdoor would. Some of the devices would be blades that spun, slowly picking up speed and deadly to get close to, while other would spill flames forth in more way. Those who had already been standing in the area watching the show, Jason, Lex and Nanda would find the traps put them at jeopardy. While Lex would be able to reach the food stand and fire extinguisher, the addition of the bladed traps would mean that he would not be able to simple use it to put out the flames and push his way forward through the performance area. Those who arrived later, Kazuya and Alex would have a tide of people, some injured and some just scare spineless pushing as quickly as they could to escape. Some would fall to the electric traps, but not enough that the two men wouldn't find them self at risk of being trampled in no short order. --- The Pumpkin king on stage would continue to wave people to run onward, and shout for them to flee, even as the flames pouring from the front of the stage started to flare back once more and risk burning the stage down around him. At that point, the skull dressed man would scream voice even altered by his voice changing costume, full of fear and panic. "Shit shit shit.... Someone get me the fuck out of here."He shouted, but the men and women ahead of the stage for the most part carried on to flee. A trained eye would notice however, that the traps seemed to mostly encircle the stage, making any direct route through them severely dangerous, and even attempting to do so without at least trying to find a better way would probably result in heavy injury. "You're fucking mad!"The Pumpkin King would shout turning at the other man on stage, and his little display and speech as the traps grew intensity, he only hoped that things took a turn for the better soon. As Lexington hobbled over to the stage area that he thought was tented, the smoke from the fire blew into his face and it caused him to turn his face away, when he redirected his attention to the stage, the fire had grown and now there were traps set up. Spinning blades and wild fire had become abundant. "I feel like im in friggin Skyrim right now" Lexington said to himself as he took several steps back. The skull faced performer looked as if he had no knowledge of this part of the current event, but the man with the lion mask had voiced his delight in the midst of the uproar. "What the hell is going on" Lexington said as he scratched his head, he watched the spinning blades rotate in a pattern around the stage and he quickly made a mental note. "There is always some unusual supernatural occurrence happening ever since I transferred schools, how the hell am I supposed to figure this out now.." Lexington rubbed his chin as he erected his posture and ditched his cane, it would serve him no good in his current predicament. As he placed the fire extinguisher down, the ground began to crack in front of him and the knights in front of the stage began to chant about a king. Without hesitation, Lexington picked up the extinguisher and hopped forward over the crack in the ground, putting him closer to the stage and the blades. "Ahh crap... HEY MAN, IM GOING TO TRY AND COME GET YOU!" Lexington shouted out to the skull faced performer. He didn't have any intention of letting someone who could possibly be rescued, perish in flames. Especially since the guy didn't do anything to deserve this. Lexington was barred off from the knights due to some of the fire so he would have to go around. He started to jog to the left, the stages right and tried to get close to the edge of the stage so he could time the spinning blades movements and try to hop onto the stage, but he first needed to be patient. The thought then occurred that he could just toss the extinguisher to the stage performer. "YO TAKE THIS AND PUT OUT THE FLAME NEAR YOU!" Lexington timed the pattern of the spinning blades and rolled the fire extinguisher directly to the skull faced performer. He couldn't risk throwing it because a side effect of that was possibly overthrowing the victim or the guy having butter fingers and missing the toss.

Great... People yelling and screaming? Deadly men in knight-clad armor? Fires? and Spinning Blades?
What is the worse that can happen? Oh wait, the ground shaking under some unknown force which created a small crevice. Which people started to fall and stumble into it. This is getting out of hand. Everyone needed something to focus on, cause if this continues, more people will get hurt. Hell more people will die... Just like the others... The others I could not save. I could not let that happen, not again. Looking around to get people away from stage and to an exit, maybe that could be nice start. But then what could I do? Need something to get their attention away from the carnage. But lets deal with the failing people first. Grabbing the first woman trapped in the crack, being so small and lithe no wonder she fell in. Taking her out with ease, I did see another gentleman also in the crack. THE HELL? He looks well over 200 pounds, and rather rotund to say the least, how in the world did he end up in the mysteriously made crevice? But to not just ponder on such a crazy notion, I went to go help anyway.
In the midst of the saving and movement, I overheard the crazy magician as he said his piece. He was truly demented. Finding all of this amusing to look at. To even have the guys on stage follow his whim. The bastard. These people are my top priority. If they don't find a way everyone is going to die. I will die. Well, jumping over the large crack, I reached over and grabbed a stick. One end of the stick was charred, but the other side was clean, Enough where I could use it like a torch.
