Mayhem sitting in his office would, be awaiting the result of a small recent experiment. It wouldn't long until he got the fotage, HUDSON would see to wherever his little soldiers had ended up, if it was caught on camera, Mayhem would have it. That would quickly be proved true, by the arrival of Rooke, who silently placed a laptop in front of Mayhem at the desk opened it and press play. The silent man though had a somewhat grim expression. Mayhem would watch and actually would leap out of his seat, knocking the laptop to the ground and causing it to smash.
"Delete that, delete ever copy of that, I fucking mean it. Shit 'Reza' gonna fucking kill me."
Mayhem said sounding terrible concerned all of a sudden, rushing and pulling his jacket from a chair and over his body to put it on quickly before storming out of the door before Rooke had any chance to do otherwise.
---
It would be some time later, and Mayhem would not have calmed much. Night would be rolling in and even though visiting hour for the hospital would be closed, it was not something liberal application of cash didn't get rid off for Mayhem to bribe his way into the hospital room. Aiming to find someone he knew, and someone who's injuries were a by product of his actions.

We're in the same gameJust different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
Well the day had been eventful. She ran some errands. Had a mental annoyance about her brother not doing his laundry as always. Went to the bank for her uncle, witnessed a heist oh and yeah got shot. Nico got minor burns on his arm from the coffee spill but those would fade away with medication. Deep inside it pissed her off that he was involved in anyway but the reality of the matter was Nico was always going to be involved in certain things. They were the Tweedle's of Wonderland, shit happened. There were always dangers and that was why she pushed him often enough because as much as she wanted to always be there and protect him she knew she wouldn't be. She couldn't. Sticking around him 24-7 was only going to smother him. She had her duties elsewhere on top of it all that kept her apart from him just enough.
Terra laid in the hospital bed preferring to be home but alas she suffered some blood loss and they just wanted to keep her over for a night. There was no not telling her uncle whom came earlier while her and Nico were being taken care of. The man seemed pleased enough to find out that they were alright and naturally to learn Terra retrieved what he asked. Business was business at the end of the day of course. Nico didn't want to leave her side once visiting hours had come to a close and she understood the sentiment. However after the days ordeal she rather he find some kind of safety at home, and by home this time she meant their uncle's, Clearly she wished him not to be alone for right now. It wasn't to baby him but just to give her a sound mind for the time being.
She was restless in the cheap hospital bed. Finding comfort was becoming more of a chore. With her left arm in a sling to give some support to the wound in her shoulder it made her only option of sleeping to be on her back. The whole thing was making her less inclined to sleep altogether. Even the TV in the room had nothing good on to watch...so typical. Despite who her family was; who her uncle was; there were certain things about a hospital one just couldn't change. Sure he told them to make her comfortable and take good care of her but all the same her injuries weren't really sever enough for him to pull out all the stops. Not that she even wanted him to cause she wasn't planning on staying long. Sighing softly she groaned pushing herself off the bed as bare feet slipped into some slippers they left for her. They even let her wear real pajama's like a tank top and loose pants rather than that horrid hospital gown.
Her usual piercing's were missing like the lip ring and her earrings for obvious reasons. Her blue locs were out rather than styled in her unique ways or pushed back in a pony tail entirely. Making her way into the hallway it was eerily silent minus the bare minimum noises. The young Russian shook it off and strolled a little down to where two vending machine's were- one with snacks and the other with drinks. From the room she had found some change in her pants that was left behind and was only enough for either a drink or snack. Green orbs shifted between the two finally settling on the idea that she was more thirsty than anything. Pushing the change through the slot then making her selection - Pepsi - it was her luck that the machine decided to eat her money instead. Nico had taken her jacket home to wash - hopefully he actually washed it - which had the rest of her money.
"дерьмо" [Der'mo] (Shit)
A rarity for her to curse but normally when she did it was in her Russian tongue. As the swearing left her lips softly, her forehead tapped against the machine. A sign of defeat and/or tiredness mixed together with a hint of frustration. She kinda really wanted that soda after settling her sights on it. And yet now it was out of reach.
"Luck is really on my side today huh. Anything else?"

Mayhem having reached the hospital room, that Terra was meant to be in, would enter it in a rush not having been paying much attention to the hallway as he moved through it, due to both his concern for another member of wonderland, a friend, and the paranoid fact that he was going to get in some huge shit for the outcome of the day, being down to one of his little games. Confusion would Mayhem as he entered and saw that the bed in the room was empty. Could she have been discharged already? He thought and then dismissed it. Nico would no doubt be seriously annoyed if her sister walked out of a hospital while she was still injured, and from the footage that Mayhem had seen she would have been not in the best state.
Mayhem would turn back and step into the hall, and look around, his intention being tracking down a nurse so he could ask where Terra was. However at that point slightly further down the corridor he would see her. Wrapped up and leaning against a vending machine. Mayhem sighed, better him then Nico to see her being up already. Walking slowly towards her Mayhem would lean against the wall nex to the vending machine.
"Pepsi right?" Mayhem said with a smile and would hold out a hand having dug to one of his coat pockets, with a hand full of change. "Though you could have asked a nurse to get it?" Mayhem would say, hell he would if he was in her position, getting shot hurt, he knew.

Oddly there was a strange comfort in her positioning. Where he head rested was actually kind of cool as oppose to the warmth one would think machinery normally gave off. Maybe she was tired enough to fall asleep but crappy hospital bed just wouldn't do. She felt herself drifting off steadily. Her eyes starting to close and she barely fought against it. Peace. Just a little sliver of it was welcomed. Usually Terra was more than aware of her surroundings even in states where she felt a bit exhausted but right now that awareness had dropped a little. Maybe it was the pain meds they gave her despite she said she didn't really want them - she had her deep rooted reasoning's to be against it. Nico insisted so she wasn't in so much pain and she obliged.
A voice sounded from her left which woke her out of the fading moment. The Russian beauty perked up quickly, a little too quickly cause her to wince. It wasn't the matter that he startled her it was more along the lines that she was edging towards passing out and needed to shake it off. With a few blinks she looked over to the individual who made an inquiry and held out change to her. It was Damien. She hadn't expected to see him at all.
"Damien?"
Did Nico tell him? No there was no need for Nico to bring anyone from Wonderland into this. They had gotten out of there before the news crew came so again she wondered why was Damien here. As a Dryagin her family had underground ties of course. Big time Russian mafia family but no one knew about Terra's involvement if she even had one other than being related. But despite she knew Damien had his information ties considering who he was and Wonderland of course. Still she couldn't figure why he was here. Puzzled she looked at the change in his hand and declined, glancing back at him.
"It just ate mines I don't think I wanna risk. Wasn't meant to be clearly.. And I prefer to do things on my own if I can."
Terra offered a warming smile back.
"What are you doing here Damien?"

Mayhem wouldn't be totally shocked by when Terra refused the coinage in his hand, if the machine had been able to take her money, there wouldn't be much of a reason for her to be stood up leaning against as she had been, and if she didn't have enough to get the drink in the first place why on earth would she have even bothered getting up to try and do so. Mayhem would in return though, try to casually slide his hand, and the money back into his pocket like the exchange hadn't really happened. However the fact coin made noise as metal clinked against each kind of made that fail.
When Terra added a question though, asking him while he was here, Mayhem head would drop and hang for the brief of moments, before snapping back up and his trademark grin turned smirk lay plastered across his face. Pulling his hand back out of his pocket, he pushed up from the wall and brought his hands together in a clap, loud and causing a nurse much father down the hallway, coming out of another room to glare down the hall at him. Rubbing his palms together, the smirk never faltered as he spoke.
"Why I can't come see a friend when my associates discovered they got hurt."
With the circles that Terra was connected to outside of wonderland business, it wasn't a super jump that some of Mayhem 'friends' were also those that knew of Terra though connection to her uncle at least and could have let slipped that she had been shot. However Terra might be suspicious of that, as those that knew of her uncle and may have been able to hear about her being hurt were either one loyal, or two enemies and why Mayhem might get info out of either of those could be bad.
"So do you really feel like chin wagging out here..." Mayhem would raise a hand and thumb over towards the door that was Terra room for the night. "..or would you rather do so where things are a mite more private?" There was a hint of authority to that sentence phrased like a suggestion, not that he expected to just be obeyed, just implying that eyes and ear were best not tempted.

We're in the same gameJust different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
She wasn't trying to be rude in her decline of his generosity. But the facts were simple: what little change she had that could've gotten her the beverage was eaten by the infamous evil vending machine. Why would she really want to risk placing any more money into the forsaken machine? She was being considerate more than anything else. Sacrificing quenching her mild thirst for the sake of it not happening again. Not like money was an object to Damien; of course not; but that was besides the point.
Terra was a little unsure why he hung his head as she inquired about why he was there. It seemed like a simple question and nothing shaming. But just as he did he quickly lifted it him with his trademark grin clapping his hands together rather loudly. It caused the mixed Russian girl to perk a brow at his display. His question back to her made her blink in response. Yeah she knew a little about his dealings or maybe a little more than she pretended to since no one knew about how involved she, herself really was. Something seemed off about it though. Even with the web of influence she didn't quite grasp who knew that would've told him. Her uncle knew because well family and he wasn't going to blab about that his niece and nephew were involved in a bank heist and she got shot. They didn't make it on the news, so.
Internally seemed like her thoughts were getting the better of her. His following suggestion only poked at the barrier of her small nervousness. He didn't know about her right? He didn't find out about her real involvement right? No all that was completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. Terra couldn't even fathom why her thoughts swirled into that place but all she knew was her heart thumped for a brief moment and an ember sparked ready to defend. Quickly she stifled them, snuffing out that hint of flame before it built itself a realm she often hated to enter.
"Sure."
A dash of curiosity laid in her voice as she motioned to walk away. When she did the motorization of the machine sounded and a little thud was heard. Looking over her good shoulder Terra went back to find it finally dispensed her Pepsi. Joy to the world! While retrieving the can from the bottom flap she heard the clanking of coins.
"Heh look at that got me a drink and my money back... Maybe you luck today has decided to change. I could get a snack too now - wait - nevermind I don't wanna go through that again."
Returning a smile she headed towards her room with change and soda in hand. Upon entering the depressing atmosphere she spoke while heading to sit on the bed placing her change and soda can on the swivel table.
"So what's going on? I assume something is going on."
When she sat down those alluring and sometimes piercing if not haunting green gems gazed at him. A splash of seriousness tinted within. What did he have to say that required them to be in private?

Mayhem couldn't help but laugh to himself when Terra had a pretty decent turn of luck over the vending machine. Maybe the thing realised that if it kept annoying people someone one of these days was going to give a serve kicking for its action. It should have been glad that it wasn't Mayhem that had his money stolen, cause the large loud man probably wouldn't have taken that kind of insult form a machine long enough for it to change its mind. Mayhem knew that it was an inanimate object, but he was just amused by personifying the thing.
Heading into the room, Mayhem would drop into a chair, one that he expected Nico had been using earlier in the day when visiting hours had still been open. Mayhem of all people however would grow slightly nervous, not something that happened often but Terra piecing eyes on him. He wasn't really sure how to go about this.
"You could say that, I want to tell you something and it stay to this room. You take it out on my hide yourself if you want but no one else know about it."
Mayhem would say in a serious tone for once, he wasn't about to tell her though until he got that from her. He could of tried burying it from her as well, but Mayhem would rather get it done and over with if anything and he then put it behind him and not have to worry about it coming out at the worse possibly time and biting him in the ass in a stupid way.
He wasn't exactly sure how Terra would react, but the idea was to get it over and done with no matter what.

The exact reason for Terra not daring to take Damien's money and give the machine a second chance was for the sake of the thing itself. Damien; Wonderland's Red King; had a known chaos factor. He was quick to attempt violence on things and this vending machine need not be a victim tonight. Once in the room and they were both settled onto something to sit she noticed how he seemed to be nervous. Damien nervous? Why? What was wrong? She never saw him break a sweat so what had him feeling a little edgy now?
Once he spoke she perked up a little in her place. The serious tone he took with her gave her a momentarily concern however when he said she could take it out on him her brow perked up in curiosity. What was this secret he wanted her to keep with him? Damien and Terra weren't the closest but weren't too far apart either. They just never really spent time with one another; hung out and such. If there was one thing Terra new how to keep and guard was secrets so he did come to the right person, however she began having the feeling it was about what happened earlier. Why else would he be there nervous and asking her to keep it between them? The blue haired Russian adjusted her sitting position and gently moved the swivel table away from her. Why? Just case Damien was correct in Terra wanting to beat the crap out of him. Just in case a hidden temper truly did flare up and she wanted to react.
"You know enough to know I am more than capable of keeping a secret.. Go on then."
There was a sense of authority in her tone she often displayed when it came to serious matters. She kept those green gems locked directly on him unwavering not in the slightest. How would she react to what he had to tell her? Would this ruin whatever small relationship they had or would their be some growth? Would Terra be understanding?

Mayhem would just sit there for a little while as Terra seemed to be ready for him to reveal whatever serious matter he was about to bring up, scratching his chin in thought of how exactly to word what he was going to say. It wasn't like he had the huge fear of the women over reacting, or more correctly reacting in a manner that made sense. No his fear still lied in the back lash of if other were allowed to know about it. He didn't have any desire to get chewed out by Cereza, nor did he want Terra's brother Nico to strike out at him if he found out. Eventually Mayhem settled on the words to use, smiled and placed his hand together in front of him fingertips pressed against each other.
"No doubt you've been wondering how exactly I discovered how you got hurt today. It is simple, while I did not nor did any of my men pull the trigger. The events today at the bank, were a by product of my action, you and your brother were merely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not the first time, my games have got others involved but the first where allies of mine have ended up taking wound because of it."
Mayhem listed of the info in a matter of fact fashion, sounding as if he was not completely to blame, and empathising the fact he was not capable of predicting ever single person daily routines and action to the point that he could have prevented it. It didn't help that the members of wonderlands every day action were there own. They were not a group to overly keep tabs on the other daily lives, if they did well it was possible Terry would still be around.
"So there it is, you got shot, so you get to know, well what do you wish to do?"
He almost would seem like he didn't truly care, what Terra would do more that she had been given the option to do so. Though his smile would falter giving away that it was an act for the most part.

The silence was deafening as she awaited whatever it was he felt the need to confide in her. Honestly Terra internally felt a nervous twitch building within. Her mind danced around all the possible things he could say but most didn't even make sense. He seemed to ponder for a bit, lost in thought until it finally hit him. As he spoke she felt such a nonchalant almost uncaring air swirling around him and his words. It was almost dismissive in the way he went about it. That was probably the only thing that was bothering her the most. His smile only added to the smugness she was picking up. He probably didn't mean to but was just trying to come off as his usually high and mighty self. King of the world and all that jazz, but for Terra that wasn't helping his case.
However as she continued to listen and watch him well something shifted in his face. That smile began to melt like ice cream exposed to the sun. If Terra was a rash person she would've reacted long ago but there was something that rang true in his words. 'Wrong place, wrong time'. Whether he was trying to denote a little responsibility which made it sound like he was placing some on her and Nico; her calm rational thinking mind pushed that aside. She wouldn't think Damien would really have the gull right now to place the blame upon her and her brother. There was a question she felt the need to ask among another but this was rather important to her considering something he just said.
"And if I hadn't gotten shot would you have told me Damien?"
Her question kept her serious tone. She was wholeheartedly curious to hear his answer. Terra knew they weren't the closest but still, would he? Wonderland was an interesting group. Each had their own lives and did what they needed to do separate from the gang itself. True each didn't keep tabs on each other because no one was the others babysitter or keeper. That and there was just that sense of freedom to have. But for some Wonderland was their family and all they had. To Terra and Nico yes they somewhat had a family but the zany group was still very much their family in its own right. All the same Wonderland at many times especially out on their own could be a bunch of individuals. It was truly a 'wonder' how they managed to work together at all. She would not let him answer it just yet as she would continue first and then give him the floor once more.
"You're right about it being the wrong place, wrong time... That mess could've been anyone's doing yes.. I guess it would be different if you knew either of us would be there and still went accordingly... But back to my question, would you?"
There was a sincerity striking in her voice. A sense of wanting to know where she and he stood even though her face would not alter in expression one bit.

Mayhem would actually to have to suppress a groan as Terra replied to his words. 'Damn it!' his mind supplied how the fuck was he supposed to answer that without one sounding like he was lying or two sound like he was an absolute dick. Well not that he cared about being a dick to most people but this was different. Mayhem mind would slip back to other cases were his organisation had become involved with member of wonderland and that in some cases it wasn't overtly obvious to them that he was involved, and other cases where it was.
The most recent foray of Jack and Hearts, of which Mars and Jack became involved in was an obvious example however the pair already knew of Jack and Hearts and as such the connection was obvious. Back further to how Ecko had been trapped in with Hearts and Six and she had discovered of Mayhem connection there. While even before that, Heart attack on V-Day of which Cereza got involved in, the women would no doubt know as well.
"I'm not sure..."
Mayhem would start, rubbing his hand and unconsciously clicking his knuckles as if he expected a fight.
"Maybe... I don't fucking know, I don't personally want tip my hand on the matter so soon but had you not been hurt, I could have done at least if it was only to ask you your opinion on the the test as a whole. I think that had your brother not been present as well I would have done."
Mayhem would finally finished, while Mayhem did not know Terra as well as he could, he knew of Terra's protective instinct and that more then likely would have put him off speaking about it if she had not be hurt.

We're in the same gameJust different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
She knew she stumped him. She knew he would have to think more than he did before to find a suitable answer for the Russian beauty. Damien had asshole tendencies everyone who knew him knew that. Terra was honestly expecting a 'no' but was a bit pleasantly surprised to hear him say at first he wasn't sure. That was a fair enough answer though. As he continued Terra felt a hint of possibly agitation in his voice based on his word usage and tone. She couldn't place why it seemed her question caused him any frustration. If he truly wouldn't for whatever reason then that was his answer.
Each of their business was their own at the end of the day. What they did outside of Wonderland they really held no obligation to tell one another unless of course it directly effected the group. Technically speaking this was one of those times yet all the same not. But it seemed as though if Nico had not been there whether she was hurt or not Damien would've told her - asked her about his little test. What was he testing exactly? No Terra was not going to scold him for the innocents that were going to get hurt or had or died. Wonderland wasn't any better in that department and in her nightlife with the Russian's she truly had no means to speak. As kind as she could possibly be at times business was business and things had to be done.
She more than took note at the beginning of him cracking his knuckles barely perking a brow at it. Terra let him finish as she looked him over once more. If she was being honest with herself she felt his nervousness stemmed about someone else far more than her. But those in the bank did not make it out to tell a tale so for him to know someone had to be watching or something was recording. Terra knew Nico didn't see what she did but Damien must've and if he did then what? No one had seen her take a life before and that neck snap was rather vicious. But she kept that hint of stress building up from the thought back as her body relaxed.
"If you're waiting for me to strike you I'm not."
She paused so he understood she wasn't lying.
"I am protective over Nico and nothing will ever change that. Everyone knows he will always be my first priority. I don't know what your little test was exactly and I don't expect you to really tell me. He was put in the crossfire but again wrong place wrong time, he was supposed to be home anyways."
There was agitation in her voice near the end but it was directed towards Nico's lie. Exhaling a sharp breath she closed her eyes and gathered herself to continue when they reopened.
"I know I can't watch him all the time. I'm not exactly his keeper and honestly with everything there is always danger right? No I'm not pleased to know it was you but it's not as though you meant for us to be there... But you're not a tad flustered because of me are you? I can take a wild guess and assume you're concerned about what Cereza would say aren't you Damien?"

Mayhem wouldn't sigh but there would be some relaxing of muscles as Terra started to speak. Telling him that she wasn't going to strike him. She was actually being more understandable then he had expected, more understanding then Mayhem himself would have been by half. Had certain other people been put into the firing line and got hurt because of it, Mayhem would come down on whoever was to blame like a ton of bricks. Mayhem felt the thought of a certain individual being hurt because of him and suddenly tried to suppress it as best he could, however the thought would come as Terra gave name to it as part of her questions.
Shaking his head, not at Terra but more to clear his head of that depressing thought and the fact that in the past there had been occasions it could have happened. Mayhem this time would sigh aloud rather then hold it in and dig his hands into his pockets of his jacket.
"I'm not one to like being so readable over something I'll have to admit."
Mayhem started voicing the fact he was annoyed that Terra had managed to pick up on his fear, not at her but that he hadn't been capable of hiding it as well as he thought.
"But yes, I have no desire for something to come up that could cause a shit storm between me and Cereza. I find the idea quite unpalatable."
Mayhem explained, there way more that he wasn't saying obviously but he couldn't help but grow curious how much Terra knew about him and Cereza, that should would have jumped to the assumption that it was her that he was concerned about finding out. The measures tone and wording he used a little less casual then his normal self, to try and hold back giving something away.
