A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[OoC: This is a minor event open only to those who signed up for it here. Rounds will move every 24-48 hours or depending on my ability to move things on, regardless of whether or not all players have posted. If your character is in a fight and you miss around, it will be assumed that the worst thing that could’ve happened to them in that situation happened. Rewards will depend on participation.] A mild wind swept through the streets, stirring the clusters of colorful balloons suspended throughout the area, and causing some civilians to zip up their coats or pull their scarves up a bit higher. Autumn had arrived, and in turn, Thanksgiving season was nearing. In celebration there was a parade—nothing terribly exciting, but there were lots of floats, shiny cars, and even a marching band. Some of the people perching on floats even tossed handfuls of candy or small toys out to the children, and a group of young gymnasts performed flips together when it was their turn to pass by. And of course, businesses got their chance to advertise themselves with floats and people in mascot suits—or they were lazy and just taped a sign to their truck. Some might even say the whole parade was for publicity, and that the man who sponsored it, being a wealthy CEO of a business in the district, was just fishing for attention. Of course, he was appointed as the guest of honor, and soon he came by in his car to wave at everyone and pretend he was a super awesome guy. Just pretending. ‘Cause y’know, there aren’t really that many super awesome guys out there. All that money he gave to charity? Probably just for show. At least this was what most people were saying. Where are you? What are you doing?

Kai had jumped on top of one of the buildings and watched as the floats passed by. He didn't like large groups of people, especially parades. He thought it was a waste of time and energy to stand and watch as people drive by in trailers and trucks. And the noise was terrible. It was all to much for him. The only reason he had been watching at all is because his cousin was going to meet him afterwards for a week trip in the woods. All Kai could do was watch as the people cheered while the floats rolled by.

There were a lot of people out on the streets today. The parade had been the source of excitement for several days now. Hemera stood against a brick building behind the large group. She had pulled out her winter gear and, coincidentally, it was her clothing from her crime days. Black cargo pants lined her legs down to her high-heeled boots. Her torso was covered in a long sleeve white shirt and fleece black leather jacket that covered up to her chin. She jerked her eyes left and right, observing the passing members of the celebration. Men, women, and children of all ages were at the parade. One little girl in particular reminded Hemera of her sweet darling Esther. Such innocence all wrapped up in a red puffy coat...the little girl held on to her father as he held her high to see the floats. Snoopy and Big Bird passed by and all the children on the sides of the street squealed with delight. The noise was overwhelming. Music for the parade played over all of the various voices of the people talking about what they were cooking for Thanksgiving, or what they were going to do later in the day. Some even talked about going holiday shopping. It was a good idea. The thought of Black Friday made her cringe. She'd only gone to one such event and nearly killed a woman over a pair of flashy high heels on sale for a bottom of the barrel price. There hadn't been anything else that had caught her eye yet for this Black Friday, so she was planning on staying at home. Pushing away from the brick building, she began to walk down the street and hope that she didn't run into any of her old...'acquaintances'. That would be most unsightly. Her heels clicked audibly on the concrete of the street until she approached a small cafe shop. It was situated in the corner of the craziness and seemed much more cozy than standing outside the whole time. In she went and, in minutes, got a caramel frappe. Choosing a seat by the window, Hemera pulled the chair out and sipped her beverage peacefully. Maybe she'd see people from the school here.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | "Well, this was a first." He said as he adjusted his beanie after the strong gust of cold wind passed. Al stared at the floats, one looked like a giant Ronald McDonald which creepily stared down at them, one even looked like a giant Burger King head which was twice as creepy as the Ronald McDonald float. Al was squeezing himself in the middle of the crowd and was watching as the colorful floats go by.
As candy was thrown, it was probably the best thing about the parade. Almost everyone on the area was struggling to move and get the candy being tossed by these people on top of their carriages. But he didn't like the toy throwing at all. He would've understood if they just threw teddy bears, but one stray plastic train toy had hit him in the head, as he was rubbing his head, a toy robot would then hit his face. "What the!?" He looked around, seeing if others were experiencing this, but as it seems, they were all just getting soft stuffed toys. "This is not fair..." He said as a basketball would hit his temple.

Paige would be leaning up against a wall in a near by allyway watching the parade go by. She was rather bored today and itching for something to happen so she decided to waste part of the day watching the parade seeing as no one wanted to have a fight it seemed "This is boring..."Paige would sigh and begin to walk down the alleyway rather slowly to leave.

Chewing on her lip, Ira paused when she blithely dug through her bag. She was frantically freeing a spot for all the candies she could scrounge for when adults begin flinging candies.
Happily diving about for more sugary goodness, she begin yelling explicit words as two kids elbowed her out of the way. Adults were staring in disapproval, and while Ira's cheeks flushed in shame, she pushed on, resolving to retrieve as many candy as humanly possible.
Those damn kids went too far.
Silver mist whirled around her as her illusions transfigured her into something that vaguely resembled an enormous hot-pink flamingo that towered about kids threateningly, snapping away at them angrily.
Then the screaming hit.
Hiding a smile, Ira begin running and making incoherent noises that resembled a constipated car, as she begin screeching about how she was there to devour children.
Basically, it was a normal day.
--- T1: Ira can summoned a pair of shape-shifting creatures. They cannot attack and cannot be attacked. Essentially, they are illusions.

Terako was on the rooftops as well, her gaze raking along the line of the parade, and the crowds of people standing around cheering and waving. One leg hung off the edge of the roof where she sat, and the other was pulled up, foot resting on the lip. She fiddled with her bracelets, her lips drawn into a thin line as she shook her head.
"People are looking to the wrong place for a truly great person," she muttered, glaring down at the car and its occupant. "Wonder how much he would be giving to those charities if his public reputation didn't depend on it? Businessmen, corporate CEOs... No one ever gives credit to the true heroes, like my father."
She grimaced, and twisted, rising nimbly to her feet and dropping onto the fire escape to head down to street level, trying to get into the spirit of a true celebration, and not think about the fact that this one was contrived, thought up, and concocted so some politician could look good.
After all, wasn't that what celebrations were about? Enjoying oneself in spite of oneself?

Cedric was roaming around the parade grounds wondering why he was there. The reason he didn't really know why he was there was the fact he was compleatly uninterested in the dealing of normal people, important or otherwise, in fact it could be said it went as far as distaste for the everyman walking around weak and unable to provide a challenge even if he started going on a rampage. Despite this here he was looking around walking and even occasionally exchanging words with a random individual, the only reason was he got the vague feeling something interesting would hopefully happen, though it was likely just a false notion like it normally was.

Levi walked along with the parade, intentionally denying the rich lummox the attention he desired by follow the cars and floats that actually had some interest. After seeing all the interested him for the moment, Levi turn into a smoothie shop and walked up to the counter.
"Apple, Pinapple and Orange please."
One of his favorite combinations of fruit to put in a smoothie and it wasn't terribly priced at that. As the girl at the counter turned to make his smoothie, the Asian stepped out of line to make room for others as he watched the parade through the window of shop.

The parade progressed rather uneventfully for a good while, but after some time it became apparent that a strange group was formulating. People with silver hair and white masks covering their faces started began showing up in the crowd, and some even sat on the floats. The people inside the shops might've even noticed a few of the silver heads seated inside, before they slowly exited to mingle with the crowd. Kaitaro would be approached by a guy in a baseball cap who pushed through the door onto the roof he sat on. "BASTARD, GET OFF MY ROOF!" he barked. If Kaitaro didn't move then... well, the guy would just keep yelling. As Hemera enjoyed her drink, someone walked by the window where she sat. It appeared to be a young woman with silver hair that reached her shoulders, but her face was completely covered by a white mask as well. With a tube of red lipstick, she'd begin to write backwards on the window so that the people inside could read it. Stay inside...Where it's safe Amaterasu would also be apprehended as she hung out on the roof tops. A middle aged woman showed up to water her roof top garden, but upon seeing the chick lounging about up there her face contorted into a scowl."Trying to steal my tomatoes are ya? BITCH!" The lady would try to spray Amaterasu with cold hose water! Levi would see one of the masked people, this one seeming to be a young boy, approach his window. With a stick of red window paint, he'd begin to draw a crude smiley face on the window followed by the words written backwards so those on the inside could read it:You'll be happier if you stay Hex, Paige, Ira, and Cedric would see a semi truck pull into the road where the parade was being held, busting through road blocks as it did. The vehicle scraped against several of the floats as it sped to the forward, and eventually swerved in front of the car that held the sponsor of the parade. The trailer in the back burst open and more silver hair masked figures leaped out onto the open roofed car behind them. Three of them grabbed onto the sponsor, and with rather impressive agility, jumped back into the trailer before slamming the doors shut. Straight after, the truck began speeding forward, plowing through any floats that were ahead of them and causing people to dive out of the way so they wouldn't be flattened.
Moments later, the masked strangers who were in the crowd leaped into action, along with the ones on the floats. They lashed out violently at everyone around them, some stabbing with knives they had with them, and others grasping and scratching at surrounding peoples throats. As the people's screams pierced the air, a girl's voice echoed through the chaos as if projected through a megaphone.
"Nobody mapped oblivion."

Kai turned to the man, pulling out a five inch dagger and responding in a threatening tone "And it is your roof I will stay, unless you feel like bleeding out on it." Kai turned back as a crowd of masked people gather. People were screaming and running. "What the hell...?" He would turn back to the man, telling him to go inside and get something to protect himself with. But before he could finish, the words Nobody mapped oblivion rang through the air. Kai ran to the edge and looked down. He watched the masked crowd spread out and turn on the citizens. Men, women, children, all were screaming and running as the masked people stabbed, slashed, and choked the people. What kind of people would do this? He sheathed his dagger and dashed past the man who was yelling at him. Swinging the door open and running down through the building, he took out his phone and called his cousin. He answered on the third ring. Before his cousin could ssay more than 'he-', Kai said "What do you know about people with white maskes and silver hair?" "What? What kind of ques-" Kai cut him off. "People started appearing at the parade. They started killing everyone. I had been watching from a roof so I was out of the way of combat, but I think I might jump in and help some people." "Well, what kind of weapons did you bring?" "The long dagger you hate me taking with because you fear it might be noticed by police." Kai smiled and cocky grin even though they couldn't see eachother. "I have no info on them, but I'd say you help people get to safety and kill the maskes." And with that, his cousin hung up. Kai would have continued running down the hall, but he decided that a window would be faster. He took out the blade as he turned around and ran to the opposite end. He sized up the glass panel as he ran. When he reach a few feet in front of it, he thrust the dagger forward as he leaped. On the other side he was met with another wall. He turned himself aroiund and had hit the wall with on hand and one leg, pushing himself out and downwards. His hand had gotten a small cut on the rough wall that had made him draw it back in reflex and caused him to land unevenly on his left leg. He chacked for major damage to the leg before runnung out into the road.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | It happened so sudden. The cheers and laughter of the crows was replaced with silence and curiosity as the speeding truck trashed through the parade. Then, the silence was quickly replaced with screams and cries of help as a group of unknown men with silver hair began attacking people. Al looked up, as if he was checking his hair. This is unacceptable, these men are a disgrace to the silver hair kind. "Fuck these people." He said, rather displeased of the fact that they just interrupted a fun parade.
Without further adieu, Al would start dealing with these fuckers before even more unecessary bloodshed may happen. Al ran towards one, sending a haymaker straight on its face to smash through his stupid mask. "This is, by far, the most stupid flash mob I've ever seen." He said as he would then elbow one on his back. "Last minute costumes?" He added as he would perform a side kick aimed at the one on his left.

Cedric was surprised at the all out attack by the populace executed by whomever these assailants where, though the term "nobody mapped oblivion" didn't make sense to him though he didn't have long to think about it as someone with a knife rushed him. Cedric was to put it in pleasant terms not pleased. Though compared to Cedric these people where slow so he would just grab the persons writs and twist while bending it backwards to snap it forcing the person to drop it before delivered a hard strike to the throat aiming to disable the person. After that Cedric would make his way to one of the semis dealing with anyone that tried to stop him then hop on top of the truck and search for the source of the voice.

'This coffee is nice in this cold weather,' Hemera thought, smiling to herself. It was out of the corner of her eye that she saw the girl outside writing on the window. As she wrote the message, Hemera stood slowly. "Stay inside....where it's safe?" She pondered the message for a moment. What could it mean? Screaming pierced the air and Hemera looked back outside for the girl. She was gone. 'Hemera....be careful here. Something isn't right....' Nyka warned softly. She sounded wary. That was never a good thing. Hemera had learned to listen to the inflections in Nyka's voice from the moment they started working in their street profession years ago. Outside, there were people crying, yelling, running away from something. Hemera turned towards the baristas and yelled, "Lock the doors after I leave. Get everyone in the back of the store and stay put until things calm down. Go into a room with a lock!" Hemera ran from her seat, knocking over her coffee on the floor. She burst outside to encounter what could only be called chaos. There were bodies on the ground. Blood covered the street and sidewalk. More masked people were attacking the citizens of the city with deadly weapons. Hemera narrowed her eyes and began to run towards the madness, trying to help people escape the insanity. In only seconds, she saw a little boy alone, crying against a wall and holding a teddy bear. He looked like he had blood on him. She approached the boy and knelt down, eye-level with the child. "Hey there...where's your momma and poppa? Are you hurt anywhere?" Hemera had no idea what would happen next, but she would be damned if anything happened to this boy in this moment.

Amaterasu whirled, and barely managed to duck under the spray of water heading her way. She still caught some of the edge, but it only damped her hair rather than soaking her shirt. "Would you relax? I'm just up here relaxing, I've no interest in your tomatoes!" She sighed, and dropped the rest of the way onto the fire escape, just in time for the booming voice screaming about Oblivion.
Her chin came up, and her eyes widened. "The hell?" She looked down, already seeing the edges of the crowd breaking in terror. She swore, and took the fire escape stairs four at a time, sliding down the ladder at the bottom to land in a low crouch against the wall. Her eyes darted across the edge of the crowd, and then she broke into motion, darting through the crowd. "Everyone get off the streets, and into a building! Lock the doors and don't come out until law enforcement shows up!" she bellowed, still trying to work through the crowd to get closer to the parade itself, since that's where the bulk of the screaming was.
Her mind raced. While she didn't approve of the parade, there might be groups that wanted this politician gone or even dead. She had to get there. As much as she loathed this man, the chaos that would ensue if he were killed, not to mention the blow to everyone's morale due to a celebration being interrupted, would mean more people would get hurt, people she was in a position to keep safe. Her jaw set into a solid line, though the corner of her mouth quirked upward in a half-grin. |
